Shoes for VR
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Since 2015 we have been in the pursuit of making walking in virtual reality a possibility – because we believe walking is the most fundamental way of how space can be accessed.
What makes your product special?
Cybershoes are the next step for motion-intensive VR games, naturally translating body movement to in-game locomotion and reducing motion sickness. Additionally, they help players bring more activity into their VR gaming without the need for an expensive and bulky treadmill system.
What has been the best part of your experience?
- Finally being able to step in the game.
- VR Fitness
- Run&Walk&Jump
- Fight Motion Sickness
- Increased Immersion

After watching the youtube videos and reviews it’s as expected, the Mat and Chair are both really good quality, I have the mat on bedroom floor as a rug and use the chair as my desk seat, works fine for daily use, this was key as I wouldn’t bother if i had to store it and take out every time I wanted to use it.
The Cybershoes work pretty well, I’ve mostly used them in Fallout 4 VR and it’s a nice gimmick, I mostly use the Cybershoes to move then at anytime like in combat I can use the standard controller for finer grained control then straight back to using the shoes for movement once I’m less stressed.
The set up and general use is a bit annoying at first and still requires turning something off and on again on average once every 3 sessions but once I got used to the quirks I can now use it without too much friction.
I wouldn’t get it thinking you will use it for fitness or realism or gaining an advantage in multiplayer FPS, but if you have some money to waste on cheap ready player one setup for amusement or parties then this is pretty cool, good quality works as expected
Great fun and worth a look..However had lots of problems trying to get them to work with Quest 2…Worked with Skyrim on the Rift. Certainly takes some getting used too but great fun and makes the games very immersive. Wanted a tred mill for VR but we are being held to Ransom by the only supplier in the UK Virtul Ghost! Steer clear of them..I got these instead. I do recommend these but not as easy as the sale pitch makes it sound…Enjoy
I have arthritis and can now get exercise without jarring joints only trouble now is I get out of breath would recommend for arthritis sufferers
We bought these VR shoes for our son to use with his Oculus VR Headset. Before I bought the shoes I had a few exchanges with a really great guy at Cybershoes, Michael, who answered all my questions very promptly and his after sales service was just as quick – something sadly lacking in some cases after you have purchased the product. As for the shoes themselves; they are very sturdy and you get a good quality smart looking chair and an anti static mat. The set-up is quite easy and we have tired them with VR chat but they will only work with a limited number of games at the moment – so check that out first as they may not work with all or any of the existing games you may have. But I’ve seen some Youtube clips and I will certainly be adding some additional games to the Oculus so I can use the shoes. All in all a great product and epic service. What more could one ask?
