All lovely and give nice coverage for effect! Used in both pathway and borders and value for money
Easy to set up but you must leave them to charge for at least 24 hours. We have mounted them on our fence rather than use the spikes. This is using our own screws as these really should be in the ground but still look amazing mounted.
These are simply stunning, no need for electricity. They finish my balcony off perfectly.
Good value for money not as bright as I expected
But would recommend
The pattern shows up nicely on the patio slabs when the solar light comes on at nigh
Well worth the money, new patio looks great with these around sides
I bought these for a change from the normal ones, i thought they looked unique, and they certainly do not disappoint, okay not the brightest, but they look classy
I love these lights, plenty of cable to place where you want them. I like the warm glow it gives with plenty of brightness over my pond. Made my waterfall and pond look stunning very pleased with purchase.
Unfortunately only 5 out of a box of 8 work and 2 of those that work are very dull and flicker, can’t imagine it will be long before they stop working. Very dissatisfied with these
Great solar lights. These light up Great and I got them at an amazing price. Very easy to assemble. Love them!
Both boxes turned up the next day . On first look they are very smart . I have them a full charge but found they aren’t as bright as shown on the article when buying them . However I’m happy with them as it makes the garden look nice . Only one doesn’t work at all have replaced battery but sll it does is flicker then goes off . Just hope the rest keep going . Would be nice to have a replacement for the 1 that is faulty .
A good buy focuses light where you want , in my case on a garden step , brillia
These look fantastic along my path line. The charge well and last for a good few hours. Really pleased with them.
Very simple, yet effective solar lights which add a focal point to any part of the garden. DO make sure that the little solar bit is very open to the light though….don’t let it get hidden under foliage!
With a good amount of daylight these light up at dusk to give a lovely atmosphere and light in the garden.
Good quality, well presented, great value, and recommended.
My mum is thrilled with these. Very easy to set up. Nice atmospheric lighting.
The lights were easy to set up, had some charge in them which was helpful. The metal pegs are additional benefit. We used it to highlight a wall feature in garden and this worked well. The light is warm white and this matched the other lights of our garden.
I like this set of 8 solar light .
They have a nice design and like them.but are not very bright , hardly make any light you just see they have turn on and that’s it.
It was easy to assemble and put them in the ground.
I think they need more sun than we actually have in UK.
Love these lights. Very easy to install. Looks very nice at night. Theyre not that bright. But makes a lovely little sparkle in the garden at night. Great value for what they are.
Had my doubts about solar lights ….usually a bit naff ….but these had a real feel of quality and the brightness compared to mains lights …. as ever … they may not be much use in winter ?? But I am seriously impressed with the light they throw …so much so I have bought some more .
Only time will tell how durable they are but at half the price of comparable solar lights and a 2 year guarantee, willing to give it a go. As bright as I would expect for the stated lumens, so not mega bright, but doing a great job at close range with small strubs. Feels well made as others have said with metal stakes instead of plastic.
Installed earlier this evening to light up my Buddha water feature. Wow very happy may need to adjust but looks amazing to me . Very happy
This set of FLOWood solar lights arrived boxed with 8 lamps inside.
These lanterns required quick and simple assembly.
They look and feel well-made from a good quality, matte black plastic.
I’m not a fan of the design, they look cheap during the day when not ON.
Solar panel has on/off switch. They charge very well during sunny weather a bit worse during bright but not sunny days.
Depending on how well they’ve charged, they stay ON for about 2 to 6 hours at night.
The light is of a pleasant warm white colour and projects nice pattern on the ground, but isn’t very bright.
I have them in the garden for a bit over 2 weeks now, they survived already some rainy weather and still work well.
Good value for money, not the best solar lanterns I have.
Love those lights! They’re very easy to install, probably took less than 5 minutes. You just need to insert them in the ground and they work very well. Unfortunately I managed to break one because the ground was a bit hard but it’s only my fault. They give very nice light and they’re pretty bright.
Even though we keep them in a space that’s always in shade, they lit up nicely from dusk throughout the night.
Great value for money too!
These lights look good and work well. They required very minimal assembly with the steaks or being inside of the lantern box With a good charge they work all night. It’s very Nice that they have a pyramid reflector at the bottom to reflect the light out which give maximum light. The only down side is There is no on/off switch so you cannot charge them up over several days. They just turn on every night no matter what.
Saying that, they are very pretty and Don’t require mass is a flight to successfully charge. I would be happy to recommend these and buy them agai
The lights were easy to pop together, just remember to turn them on before putting them together as I didn’t and had to take all the tops back off to turn them off.
I managed to push the spikes straight into the ground with little effort at all.
Sun charged them up very well, they are massively bright. Couldn’t use them as an actual light, more of a decorative light down our path. Has like a soft orange glow to them.
The lights are very well made
Even at the current selling price, these are good value at about 3 each. Each of the eight lights in the box comprises a thick plastic square hollow tube with freeform fretwork. The top drops in and has a solar panel on top, and switch underneath, protected from the weather. Inside the base is a metal pyramid to reflect the light, and a plastic ground spike completes the lantern. It’s best to make a hole beforehand if the ground is hard or stony. The lights are excellent used to mark a path or edge. They cast a pattern on the ground. As with all solar-powered lights, the location will determine how long they will run before the batteries need to be removed and charged. In a sunny location, it might not be necessary at all. These are pretty, simple lights that will hopefully last a season or two.
Really like these solar lights, pack of 8 at the price these are sold for is a bargain. It’s was so easy to assemble them, that my 10 year old was in charge of it and managed to do all 8 of them in few minutes.
These lights had a full charge and were ready to be used straight out of the packaging.
I love the light pattern these solar lights give, looks very nice in the dark.
So pretty and reasonably priced for 8 but more of a glow than light.
They are a good size and there’s a little reflective pyramid to help spread the light.
At first look these lights are okay, neatly packed, nice pattern on the main body. But when I opened the light to take ground spike out and switch on the light, I could see that some parts are a bit cheaply made (the silver light reflector part for example, or the way both ends fit into light body). After all, we pay just 2 per light so at the same time we cant expect high quality stuff. I’m a bit disappointed by the amount of light comes out of these lights, barely anything, even after charge. Small solar panel, small bulb that’s the reason for poor light quality.
The ground spike and the main body of the lights are strong so at least that’s good thing.
I got these to place along side my garden path, when these come on they look lovely. They are not the brightest of solar lights I have but they do give of a nice warm glow.
These are easy to put together and place into the ground with the stake provided.
The good thing about these is they recharge themselves during the day so you do not have to keep replacing the batteries.
Overall I am happy with these.
Nice garden solar lights, stays light all night.
I love seeing it shining through the darkness when I glance outside, love that thy charging over the day, no wires.
Looks magical at night.
I really like them, easy to put into pots and next to plants but look excellent on chippings or next to a fence. Be sure to put them in areas that get a lot of sun as the ones at the back of my garden didn’t say on for long. What I did find also is the angle of some of them, lovely pattern for the ones close to my house but those further away I couldn’t see the pattern and only the light which was disappointing.
All in all a great set that is easy to set up and look pretty good, im happy.
I love these, I’ll admit I was expecting them to be a little brighter but they look very nice still at night, if I would have paid for them I’d be happy with them still, the design is very nice and I think suits my square garden perfectly, they were easy to assemble and spike into the ground and they all work well and handled the rain yesterday just fine too, good lights.
A quality set of solar lanterns that are easy to construct and with a good firm stake to allow placing in firmer ground. Once they come on in the evening the lighting has a very warm glow, and the glow continues way into the early hours. I used the set to mark out the side of my drive and they provide a lovely welcome home on dark evenings.
Pretty set of 8 plastic solar lights that give off a really lovely warm glow. I especially like the fact that the whole unit comes apart ie top, bottom, post and you can even unscrew where the battery sits (which is a single AAA) so hopefully will be able to replace when it gives up the ghost.
In use they give a lovely pattern spread and have worked through the night even after a dull day. From afar they look like wrought iron but, being plastic, they do have one downside if you don’t peg them into the ground which I found out this morning. I placed them loose on our garden wall and this morning they were all scattered round the garden some even missing their lids. None of them were damaged in any way and all still work fine, but I will make sure that they are pegged down in future. Overall I am really pleased with this set at 23.99 at the time of review and can forgive the one little blip because they have survived our overnight windy weather.
These solar lights are quite nice — though since they’re quite short and have more plastic than cut-outs to their sides, they’re more atmospheric light addition than practical pathway illumination. The lights are made from plastic, with holes in the sides that create interesting shadow patterns on the area around them when they’re lit. There is a little power switch on the under side of each solar panel lid that needs to be turned on before these will work.
It’s nice that there’s 8 of them as this means a single set goes quite a long way.
Supplied in a close-fitting box, with each lantern wrapped in a plastic bag. The ground stakes were stored inside the lanterns for shipping, so each needs to be opened up and the stake removed/installed before use.
This pack of 8 solar lights have black sturdy plastic casings with decorative cut outs. They are easy to assemble and the plastic ground spikes are strong enough to push into soil to stand securely. The small solar panels are an integral part of the lamp. They turn on when the light is poor and turn off when there is day light – no separate on/off button.
These lights are pretty decent, and do look really nice, providing a nice (but weak) glow — great for pathway edging. Obviously these are not amenity lights, but are a nice feature. They are surprisingly inexpensive (15.99 for a set of 8), and are pretty good. They all worked as they should, with no problems, but these aren’t as bright, in fact nowhere near) as some similar ones I have.
The lights of course are fairly budget, but are reasonably well made with softish (not brittle) plastics, and easy to place. You should be able to access the internal battery if you ever need to change, but I haven’t verified. The batteries are standard AAA NiMH batteries — one per light – (600mA which isn’t bad).
To use, you need to pop out the top, and switch the light to on position before using. It’s a good idea, when placing the lights, to place the spike in the ground first, and then affix the light onto it, rather than pushing down onto the whole thing, since, if the ground is a little hard, exerted pressure will likely cause the spike flange to push inside the light body.
Overall, these aren’t bad at all. For the price, they’re very good value. Not the brightest, but quite attractive.
I hope that you have found this review helpful.
Very easy to get up and running.
Solar powered, you literally just flick the switch to on and place in a spot where it can soak up the sun.
More decorative then being effective garden lighting.
Creates a pretty pattern on the ground around it.
8 in total so you can create a line or shape with them that looks attractive.
Not sure about their longevity just yet but with warmer temperatures and kinder conditions ahead they should face no problems.
