This is an attractive looking easel and my granddaughter loves using it. It gets 4 rather than 5 stars because it is smaller than I expected and definitely not as wide as the picture implies. The roll of paper it comes with is extremely short and when it runs out it has to be replaced with an equally narrow roll which is not easy to source at a reasonable price. Otherwise it is sound.
Really easy to put together and very sturdy , the paper roll is great too keeps it in place while little ones paint/draw.

Bought for the daughter so that we can teach her math and phonics and it does the job. Would have preferred a bit bigger but I did not measure the size before buying so can’t complain.

Avrei preferito che avesse anche i gessetti colorati (che ho preso a parte) ma pazienza.

My kids love these! We got these for Christmas and they use them every week. The paper roll is our favorite feature. They can paint, draw and color they’re own art over and over. I wish it had more storage for chalk and eraser but we make it work.
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this child’s easel for my daughter’s 2nd birthday.
It was packaged really well and all parts were present, undamaged and no warping of any wood or surfaces.
The unboxing and build took approx 15 minutes and was super easy with the supplied instructions.
My daughter has yet to receive the easel so I shall update if there are any issues with the day to day usage of the product however I have to say that I’m very happy with the first impressions and look forward to seeing her receiving it for her birthday.
Most of the negative reviews are hilariously fake or people can’t read. It’s really cool and my kids love it! Undo two of the red screw knobs and it collapses in 10 seconds, you can buy 15 inch easel rolls from a variety of different companies. It’s for toddlers so if it’s too small don’t buy it.
Sturdy and easy to assemble design. My daughter loves to paint. We bought this easel for her. It’s one of the best purchases we did for her. Now, whenever she completes a painting we have to display it in her playroom. She uses it so frequently, we are running out of wall space in her room.
The paper roll it comes with is very small, we ordered one from Amazon and it’s perfect.
Multiple-use is an added benefit, chalkboard and dry erase also work well.

This fun and versatile easel was a great buy. Our little one loves it and uses jt daily. He alternates between the chalk, white board with magnet letters or dry erase. We have yet to paint because its winter, thinking well do that one outside he is 2 like i mentioned. Overall great product and not a huge eyesore in the corner of the room either. Hes learning how to draw and name different shapes! Definitely a great buy for a long canadian winter.
It’s a greate quality, easy to put together. A bit shorter a for max height than I anticipated. But I have a range of kids so it will work for us still!

This is a great addition to our playroom. Our son is only 1 1/2 years now, but will be able to play with this for a long time due to the adjustable height stand and many options. The paper, dry erase board, and chalkboard leave many different choices to keep him busy. For now we will just use the paper and crayons, but excited to try the other items as he gets older.
We bought this when it was on sale and I think it was an amazing value. Very happy with this purchase.
Be warned that the paper roll it comes with is pathetically small and does not take the larger paper rolls from IKEA. Our kids are enjoying it so far but this limits their ability to hand paint with the product.
I bought this for my 2 year old grandson when he comes over. It has been such a great creative way for him to have fun.
I have him coloring, painting, and using the chalkboard. It’s a favorite. He goes to it right away every time he comes over.

I read so many reviews of so many kid easels. This one topped the list each time and it is the best. Wood is quality and sturdy and strong. Assembly was simple and took less than 20min. Kiddo was able to help! Already has made drawings on it and loves it. It’s beautiful and we can adjust the height as our kiddo grows. Its classic and simple- the white board is magnetic. The chalkboard is good quality. The art supply tray is perfect. Get the extra paper rolls as the one provided is a starter roll. If you need paint brushes for the cups, get those too. The paint cups are a brilliant design. This will certainly allow for many creative artworks to be made!
The product was easy to put together and I ended up buying another so my kids won’t fight over it. The dry erase side works with the washable crayola markers. I just use a squirt bottle and a towel to clean. This has helped both my kids draw more. Love this easel!! Probably the best gift I ever got them.
Can’t find chalk good for this board…don’t know if it is the chalk issue to board itself
This bought this easel for my 5 year old son’s Birthday present. He loves it. We use the chalk board for lessons(tracing numbers and letters). He uses the white board to show off his skills (art, numbers, letters, and words). Painting is comfortable for him with the easel on the highest setting. My one year old loves it too. The two sides make it easier for my sons to share. It was easy to put together. I didn’t even have to use the instructions. The paper roll went pretty quickly. In hindsight I should have been more conservative with it. Cups sit fine with no slipping through the holes.
Just make sure there is no climbing. My boys love climbing and this will definitely not hold either of them.
Just what I wanted. Sturdy, stable and now well used.
Great well made product. Purchased for my grandson. He loves it. Only suggestion maybe would be nice to be able to fold up the easel for storage. It’s designed so once it’s together you can’t collapse or bring in the legs for easy storage. That’s why I left off a star. But, it’s not a deal breaker because the product is made with great quality. Still one of the best companies out there. I had purchased a similar one for my kids years ago. But it was able to fold in to be able to be stored in a closet or storage space
Ho comprato questa lavagna come regalo per mia nipote. Non stato facilissimo montarla nel modo giusto poich spesso a fine montaggio i piedi non erano perfettamente allineati e la lavagnetta traballava, ma i materiali e la qualit molto buona. Sono abbastanza soddisfatto, sarebbe stato bello avere compreso nella confezione anche dei pennarelli o qualche gessetto per una prova immediata. In ogni caso piace sicuramente molto ai bambini pi curiosi che possono disegnare o se pi grandi imparare a scrivere anche su dimensioni maggiori di un foglio.

Fue fcil de armar y la estructura es fuerte. Me parece un poco caro aunque el material es de buena calidad. Espero que mi hija no crezca demasiado muy pronto porque le qued justo a su altura ya ponindolo en la altura maxima, ella tiene 6 aos. As que recomendara que ese fuera el tope de edad recomendado.
This easel is pretty decent; it’s a compact size, nice quality, very easy to assemble. My daughter is happy with it. The biggest downside is that it is a unique size, meaning you can only use the Hape replacement 15″ easel paper (which is quite expensive). In contrast, the Melissa and Doug easel uses a standard 18″ easel paper. Their replacement paper is half the cost of Hape’s, and there are dozens of choices for generic 18″ easel paper. I chose the Hape easel over the Melissa and Doug mainly because of the magnetic white board, but the paper size is a bummer. I may have made a different decision had I realized that.
PROS:
– very sturdy.
– adjustable height, which is handy when you have a 23 month old who is continuously growing.
– its magnetic, my son is able to play with his alphabet magnets and animals.
– it comes with the ‘no spill’ paint cups and has cutouts where the cups go.
– no chipped paint and the colors are vibrant.
– has turn knobs that hold the paper in place.
CONS:
– the wood is not finished so it can stain (I ended up painting on a clear coat which fixed the issue)
– it doesn’t fold up for easy storage, you will have to unscrew it to fold it up.
Overall, after much debate on which easel to buy I am very pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this easel to others.

All in all a great product! I would personally recommend this over the melissa and Doug (still love that brand though) however, both have their pros and cons!

La calidad de la madera es buenisima, para armar es facil
y no se maltrata o rompe al tratar de embonar las piezas por la CALIDAD.
El precio es super bueno, ya que antes de encontrar este habia visto otros muy caros.
Este esta padre porque esta diseado para nios, tiene pizarron de plumon, de gis o para pintar con pincel entonces es bastante versatil.

Like other reviewers have said, I spent a lot of time looking at all the options, and I’m so glad I bought this one. It’s really sturdy and strong, looks great, is fab for growing with the child and cleans up well.
You can buy the Habe rolls of paper on Amazon too and they’re super thick and last ages. You can even use both sides to get more use out of it. The roll that comes with the easel is a small sample, but don’t let that put you off ordering a full roll – as they’re fab.

This is such a great product! I read many reviews of different products before choosing this one, and I’m so glad I did! I love that this grows with the kids. My 2 year old loves colouring on this and uses the paint cups to hold her markers! It fits a roll of Ikea paper perfectly as well which is so great! This will be used for many years!
** Correction… I thought it would fit Ikea paper but it does not. I took off one star as a result (yes I realize that they don’t make their products to fit Ikea, but the paper that came with it was only enough for 2 drawings.

Compre el pizarrn, el rollo de papel y las pinturas. A mi hija le gusto mucho el pizarrn, lo nico mal fueron las pinturas crayola, el empaque estaba muy maltratado, pareca recogido de la basura y las pinturas no tuvieron la calidad que esperaba .

Like all of our other (many) Hape products, this is a major winner. My 20 month old daughter got this from grandma and grandpa for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Her papa put it together with no issue—she even wanted to help. The paper roll that comes with the product didn’t last long but I had purchased an extra one knowing it wouldn’t. It is adjustable to three heights; at 20 months she’s in the 90th percentile and it works wonderfully for her. She had tried and enjoyed the magnet function of the white board. The only thing we haven’t done yet is use the chalkboard. It’s small enough to keep in our living room and I’ve been using the paint cups to store crayons. My only very minor issue is, like others have said, the wood frame that is not painted doesn’t have any protective coating so her art/scribbling has already colored the wood frame. But it’s an easel, so use is to be expected! Originally I set up paper on subscribe and save through for every two months but she loves this so much I may have to have paper delivered monthly! Another wonderful Hape product that I would buy again in a second!

I think this product is great value – it was around 55 when bought. There are cheaper options, but they’re not made of wood and many of them looked flimsy. What’s missing is that it didn’t come with a lot of accessories. I bought a Quercetti “tablet” product that had magnetic letters, numbers and picture tiles so that (1) we had accessories to go with this easel and (2) as something so that we could essentially take the same toy on the road. I also bought dry-wipe pens and chalk separately. It would have been a good idea for these to be included. It also needs paint and paintbrush.
Overall, it looks great and does the job – more importantly, it was a hit with the young man I gave it to.
Good quality and granddaughter very happy with it. She is only two and small for her age but fine on lowest setting for her to use.
