It’s been insane air quality outside with the Canadian wildfires, we had days of the air being so bad that it was hard to breathe. Of course some of that pollution came into the house.
This little guy is awesome. We have it in the living room and can definitely tell the difference.
I like that there are 3 fan speeds as well as a sleep mode. It’s quiet enough on fan setting two that it doesn’t bother me.
My favorite thing is that there is a light that tells you how the air quality is. Green for good, Red for bad.

Used in bedroom in sleep mode. Very quiet.
Used in living room especially when cleaning log burner. Shows there is dust and runs until clear. Then drop down onto lowest settling. Does blow out cold air. Will be amazing in the summer when bed room too hot!
Fastest setting is bit noisy but I would expect that. Low setting not really noticeable but can put onto night setting and very quiet.
Haven’t had long enough to replace the filters yet.
My other half is allergic to the cat. Since using this his itchy eyes and wheezing have reduced considerably so far and only had it 2 days. I can tell a difference in the air quality myself. The auto setting is great and the colour coded system really helps. It doesn’t like (or rather does like) aerosol air fresheners as it boosts it power and clears within minutes. 2. Sound wise it is ok, not too loud but you can hear it (I don’t mind because I hear the road anyways, so extra sound doesn’t bother me)
It is ok, i stopped using it due to energy consumption. It gives me impression of not being too energy efficient.
Performance:
First, it does what it’s supposed to. I have a couple PM2.5 sensors that I use to monitor air quality and they show a healthy AQI value of “zero” around this purifier. It has a sensor built in to detect air quality changes, and it automatically increases speed when the quality goes down.
Quiet:
Most of the time you won’t notice that it’s running. In auto mode (when the air is clean), it’s tough to hear it even when you’re right next to it. It’s not going to disturb you while you sleep. It’s also not going to be a “white noise generator” either, it’s completely silent.
The only time I notice it is when it kicks on to medium or high speed because it’s caught a whiff of something bad, which is actually reassuring. Many times I don’t notice that the air inside the house has gone bad, and by the time I do, I’ve been breathing it for a while. When this is running, the air is always good!
Smarts:
It’s pretty clear this purifier was designed by a team of people who really thought the product through. The big things and the little things all work very well.
– You can completely ignore this after you’ve plugged it in. It asks nothing from you, it just does its job, cleaning your air.
– It’s quiet because it has a big fan. Bigger fans turn slower to move the same amount of air as a small fan, and slower fans are quieter.
– It’s energy efficient, absurdly so. In auto mode when the fan is on low speed, it uses around 2 watts – about $2.50 per year. By comparison, your USB phone charger probably uses more power than that when your phone _isn’t_ plugged in. It’s so efficient that I don’t mind leaving it on all the time, because it’s not going to increase my electricity bill. (also, unplug your USB chargers when you’re not using them!)
– It has a “sleep” mode to run the fans as quiet as possible (which dims but does not turn off the lights)
– It has a “just turn off the lights” button (which doesn’t run the fans in quiet mode but does turn off the lights)
– It has a timer feature, you press a button and it’ll stay on for 2, 4, or 8 hours.
– You can manually set the fan to one of 3 speeds as well
– You don’t need the timer _or_ the fan speed feature, because auto mode will take care of everything and you can just leave it on all the time.
– The case itself is smart – the cover is magnetic, so there are no fiddly plastic tabs or screws needed to access the filter. A gentle pull is all you need to remove the cover…
– …which you’ll want to do so you can periodically clean the pre-filter. The pre-filter is attached by velcro, so you easily remove it to wash it out.
– It doesn’t include gimmicky features like adding in “essential oils” (which would just re-pollute your air) or “active ionization” (which just re-pollutes your air). However, a unit with a non-ionizing UV-C light for disinfection would be a nice feature for public places, restaurants, classrooms, etc.
– It remembers its settings when it’s been unplugged. When you plug it back in, it’ll still work the same way it did before.
– And finally, and most importantly, my favorite feature:
THIS PURIFIER DOES NOT BEEP
That’s right! There are NO 100 dB, ear piercing BEEEEEEEEEEEEP noises that play whenever you press a button. In fact, there are no beeps or chimes or chirps of any kind whatsover. I have no idea why so many manufacturers are obsessed with adding a buzzer to every single possible user interaction. I have yet to find a case where I thought to myself, “Yeah, I really would’ve liked to have been deafened when I pressed that button, just in case I forgot that I pressed the button right after I pressed it.”
Problems:
I’ve returned and replaced two of these because they’ve had fan noise – a kind of clicking noise associated with the fan. It wasn’t loud but it was super obnoxious and not the kind of thing you’d want to try to sleep next to. Hopefully this is a supply issue that Homevana will deal with.
The filters are too expensive, currently about $40. There might be off-brand filters that are the same size, when it comes time to replace the filters I’ll update the review.
The whole thing is too expensive. I was able to buy most of them here with coupons at around $60, which I think is a pretty reasonable price, but I wouldn’t pay more than $80-90 or so. I realize that most of the other purifiers here are priced in the $100-150 range (or WAY more than that if you go with a name brand). So it’s not that it’s over-priced compared to it’s competition, I just think air purifiers in general should be priced for what they are – a fan in a box with a filter. But at least with this one you’re getting an expensive product that’s also a high quality product.
My bottom line:
I wouldn’t buy anything else. Get a couple of these for your house (hopefully on sale), and enjoy life with clean air.

Das Gert arbeitet sehr leise und hat eine gute Leistung. Ich habe den Eindruck es staubt in der Wohnung jetzt weniger, alles in allem bin ich zufrieden.
On sleep mode it is whisper quiet, even on setting one it is quiet. Setting two is a similar noise to having a fan on in the room. Setting three ( full ) is quite noisy and you would struggle to hear the tv properly over it. But I don’t think many people would have it on full for long so it’s not an issue.
I bought this to help alleviate the dust and dander with our African Grey parrot. We rehomed a parrot and within hours of him arriving I had a dry, irritated cough. After an hour of being in the room with him I had to leave as my chest felt tight and my throat was sore. Afraid that we’d have to give him back we bought this to see if it would help.
We’ve had this running now for 3 days and it has completely changed everything. I can now sit in the room all day and I am totally fine.
This has been a life saver for me and I couldn’t be happier with it.

This is a small HEPA-certified unit that is designed to purify a small room. One important thing to note is that it will not work when placed onto carpet, it needs a completely flat surface. I solved this problem using a piece of lino that matches the carpet colour. Unfortunately this means I have to carry the lino about when I move it from room to room, which is a bit of a hassle. I think it should come with a stand to allow you to use it on any surface, particularly at this price.
The build quality is high, with strong (presumably ABS) plastics that will take the unit falling over without a problem.
The touch controls work fine, although some colour-coding would make it easier for those of us with poor eyesight. A full remote would be much better, and I expect one for this price. A remote means less interaction with the touchscreen, thus extending that part’s working life. With a remote I can turn it on/off from the bed, sofa etc. Having to manually do it is surprisingly annoying. A phone app would be a great addition too.
The Auto setting actually works well, and responds to changes in air quality. I thought it might be a gimmick but I tested it by introducing dirty air and it reacted to it.
This is a quiet model, and is possible to have on all night and not be disturbed, even the button lights can be turned off so you aren;t kept awake.
In summary I will say that although this is twice the price of similar-specification units, it is a lot better than those you see for 30-60.
Er hat richtig power und ist einfach zu bedienen. Er sieht modern ais und ist klein und kann berall verstaut werden.
Das Gert sieht schn aus und schtzt super gut z.B. wenn ich Wsche aufhnge vor Schimmel und im Sommer z.B. vor Pollen.

Der Luftfilter verfgt ber einen groen HEPA-Filter, der seitlich eingeschoben und mit der Platte mit den Lftungsschlitzen abgedeckt wird.
Der Luftfilter verfgt ber ein Touch-Bedienfeld, auf dem sich die verschiedenen Modi einstellen lassen: Automatik, Nachtmodus und Timer.
Beim Automatikmodus springt der Filter von alleine an, sobald die Luft verunreinigt ist und luft so lange, bis sie gereinigt ist. Diesen Modus benutze ich am hufigsten. So brauche ich mir keine Gedanken zu machen, denn dieser Modus arbeitet sehr zuverlssig. Sobald ich mir eine Zigarette im Haus anznde, springt der Luftreiniger an. Aber auch, wenn wir grillen und die Terrassentr auf ist oder sobald ich in der Kche koche. Allerdings ist der Luftreiniger in diesem Modus auch recht laut. Zwar mag das im Verhltnis zu anderen Luftreinigern leise sein, aber beim Telefonieren strt es dann doch.
Brauche ich Ruhe, schalte ich daher den Nachtmodus ein. Dieser ist viel leiser, fast unhrbar, dauert aber entsprechend lnger.
Den Zeitmodus nutze ich eigentlich nur, wenn ich nicht zu Hause bin, denn 2,4 oder 8 Stunden wird mir das Gedrhne dann doch zu laut.
Das Bedienfeld hat auerdem einen kleinen farbigen Balken, der die Luftqualitt anzeigt, von blau (sehr gut) bis rot (sehr schlecht).
Da ich auch Pollenallergiker bin, htte ich diesen Luftfilter gerne frher gefunden. Er htte mir sicher so einige Nies- und Hustenanflle erspart.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und ziehe auch fr die Lautstrke keinen Stern ab, denn anscheinend sind andere Luftreiniger noch lauter.

Love this little air purifier. I live on the water which is mostly delightful until seaweed season. The sea grass piles up on the beaches and the sun’s unrelenting heat causes quite a smelly mess. It can be so bad it seeps into the house. I put this little machine in my bedroom which has the best view but alas the worse smell and in 1 hour, clean air. Night mode is almost silent. Only had it for two weeks but so far so good. Very happy I streamed through the endless reviews on all the other “top brands” and found this one.

Der Homvana Luftreiniger mit H13 HEPA Filter ist bis zum 1. September 2022 im Angebot mit 40% Nachlass zu erwerben und kostet damit nur rund 65 . Damit gehrt er im Moment zu den absolut besten Angeboten in diesem Bereich, der durch viele Hersteller etwas unbersichtlich ist.
Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Normen fr HEPA-Filter fr alle Gerten gleich gelten und daher die Reinigungsleistung mit 99,97% aller Staubpartikel, Viren, Schimmelsporen und Pollen bei Verwendung eines HEPA-Filters gleich ist. Es kommt dann in erster Linie auf die Umwlzungsmenge und weitere eher den Komfort betreffende Dinge an und nicht zu vergessen, die Kosten fr Ersatzfilter.
Hier liegt der Homvana mit knapp 30 fr einen Filter ebenfalls im untersten Preisniveau, da Filter bis zu 50 und mehr kosten knnen. In der Bedienung ist das Gert sehr einfach. Die Luftqualitt wird in den drei Ampelfarben sofort erkennbar angezeigt. Das Gert verfgt ber einen Nachtmodus mit flsterleiser Umwlzung und abschaltbarem Licht.
Die Luftumwlzmenge ist mit 240 cbm CADR angegeben, ausreichend fr Rume bis 50 qm, um die Luft im Betrieb auf hchster Stufe ca. einmal pro halbe Stunde zu reinigen. Das ist zwar etwas laut aber sehr effektiv. In gut verschlossenen Rumen wrde es theoretisch ausreichen, danach das Gert auszuschalten. In offeneren Bereichen lasse ich den Luftreiniger im Dauerbetrieb laufen, da sich ja die Luftzusammensetzung stndig verndert. Der Stromverbrauch fr die Ventillation ist sehr niedrig.
Der Homvana ist fr mich nach einigen Monaten des Betriebs von einem wesentlich teureren Markengert nicht zu unterscheiden. Wenn man ohnehin vorhatte, sich in nchster Zeit ein solches Gert zuzulegen, kann ich die Anschaffung zum Angebotspreis sehr empfehlen. Aber auch zum “Normalpreis” von etwa 100 gehrt der homvana fr mich zu den Favoriten, wenn man auf Timer, Fernbedienung, App und anderen Schnickschnack verzichten kann.
Fr mich ein klarer Fall fr 5 Sterne!
I didn’t know what purifier to get but my house is so dusty. Constantly having to hoover dust all day. I only have this one so far but I want another!
Nobody says how much dust is being caught in the filter on the reviews but ive just hoovered it out today and there’s a thick layer of dust on it along with some black lab hair it’s caught.
Really easy to use too and if you put it on automatic it just comes on when it detects it needs cleaned and changes colour. If I smoke my smok e cig near it, it turns to red and goes on full power.
It’s fairly quiet louder on the 3 fan setting but not overly. I wouldn’t be without it now . Could tell the difference when we had covid I didn’t have it on for a week you could see all the dust particles in the air again. Keep mine in the living room and it’s 6m x 4m fairly large area.
Der Homvana H211 Luftreiniger ist kleiner, als ich erwartet habe, nur etwa 32x15cm Kantenlnge und 40cm hoch.
Er steht bei uns an der Wohnzimmertre und saugt so die Luft aus dem Wohnzimmer und Flur an. Tren sind bei uns eigentlich immer offen wegen den Haustieren.
Vor dem ersten Start muss man den Filter hinten im Gehuse aus der Plastiktte nehmen und ins Gert einsetzen, dann kann es auch schon losgehen. Die Klappe lsst sich einfach ffnen, da sie mit Magneten gehalten wird, gefllt mir besser als Rasten, die nach einer Weile abbrechen.
Die Bedienung ist einfach gehalten ber wenige Tasten an der Oberseite des Gertes. Mit diesen kann man den Filter einschalten oder die Lfterstufe einstellen. Auch ein Timer ist gleich per Tastendruck eingestellt. Man kann hier zwischen 2h, 4h oder 8h whlen, nach denen sich das Gert automatisch abschaltet.
Die Luftqualitt wird im Betrieb permanent gemessen und ber eine Kontrollleuchte auch farblich angezeigt.
Ich lasse das Gert im Automatikmodus laufen, da wird die Lftergeschwindigkeit ber den Luftsensor angepasst. Wird die Luftqualitt schlechter, geht die Drehzahl automatisch hoch.
Normalerweise ist die Qualitt sehr gut, der Lfter dreht auf kleiner Drehzahl und ist da schon sehr leise. Man kann aber auch einen Nachtmodus einschalten, dann hrt man, wenn man nicht direkt am Gert ist, nichts. Ebenso sind die Kontrollleuchten im Nachtmodus abgeschaltet, wenn jemand lichtempfindlich ist, ist das eine sehr gute Sache. Das Gert ist also voll schlafzimmertauglich.
Schaltet man die Drehzahl hoch, pustet der Lfter schon ganz ordentlich und wlzt die Luft im Raum sehr gut um, das ist bestimmt im Sommer nicht schlecht, wenn es richtig warm wird.
Wenn wir kochen steigt der Messwert etwas an und der Lfter dreht dann etwas hher. Auch wenn im Badezimmer etwas Deo genutzt wird sieht man das ein paar Sekunden spter an der Anzeige und der Lfter dreht hoch. Der Sensor reagiert also recht zgig auf Vernderungen.
Die Luft ist sprbar besser, ich habe ein bisschen mit Pollen zu kmpfen und merke gleich wenn ich reinkomme, wenn der Luftreiniger luft, die Luft ist frischer und meine Nase ist nicht verstopft.
Auch die Kochgerche sind sehr schnell wieder weg.
Von daher bin ich mit dem Gert sehr zufrieden.
Wenn sich der Filter zusetzt, dann wird das ber eine Kontrollleuchte angezeigt. Ersatzfilter knnen fr unter 30 hier bei Amazon bestellt werden.
Ich finde den Luftfilter sehr gut, man sprt eine deutliche Luftverbesserung, gerade auch wenn Pollen fliegen. Dazu ist die Verarbeitung gut und der Preis mit momentan 109.99 sehr gut. Von mir gibt’s 5 Sterne und eine Empfehlung.
Wir haben zwar bereits einen Luftreiniger, aber unser bisheriger ist viel grer. Dieser hier ist zwar nicht super kompakt aber um einiges schmaler als unser bisheriger. Aufgrund dessen das er kleiner bzw. schmaler ist hatten wir berlegt, unseren Alten durch diesen hier zu ersetzen. Seine Mae betragen ca. (HxBxT) 40,5x32x15cm.
Entfernt werden sollen bis zu 99,97% der Partikel bis 0,1m wie Staub, Pollen, Rauch, Gerche, etc.. Den, den wir aktuell im Schlafzimmer in Gebrauch haben kann sogar Partikel bis zu 0,0101m entfernen und ist somit nochmal feiner eingestellt, war aber auch entsprechend teurer.
Gefertigt ist der Luftreiniger aus robustem Plastik und alles ist sauber und ohne etwaige scharfe Kanten etc. Die oben angebrachten Tasten reagieren gut und flssig.
Die Strke der Luftzirkulation kann man in den drei Stufen einstellen (Niedrig/Mittel/Hoch). Auf der niedrigsten Stufe ist er wirklich sehr angenehm leise. Die Displayanzeige kann man auch ausschalten.
Schn ist, dass es sogar eine Timer-Funktion gibt. Diese kann man auf 2, 4 oder 8 Std. einstellen. Auch kann man einen Schlafmodus einstellen, bei dem der Luftreiniger wirklich sehr angenehm leise luft.
Die Luftqualitt wird durch Farben angezeigt. Hier geht es von Grn (sehr gut) ber Blau und Orange bis hin zu Rot (schlecht).
Es gibt auch eine Kontrollleuchte fr den Austausch der Filter. Diese kann man auch hier ber Amazon erwerben und sind preislich noch in Ordnung. Aktuell bekommt man einen fr 29,99.
Fazit: Der Luftreiniger arbeitet zuverlssig und er scheint tatschlich die Luft zu reinigen.
Als Allergiker bin ich ein groer Fan von Luftreinigern, weil ich dadurch viel weniger Beschwerden – zumindest in der Wohnung – habe. Der Luftreiniger von Homvana ist ein vergleichsweise gnstiges Model, welches trotzdem auch fr groe Rume gut geeignet ist. Die Filterleistung ist nach meinem Empfinden sehr gut, Kochgerche verschwinden z.B. schnell.
Der Luftreiniger nimmt schon etwas Platz in der Wohnung weg und sieht auch nicht super ansprechend, sondern eben typisch wie ein Lfter aus. Fr “gute Luft” nehme ich das aber gern in Kauf. Die beiliegende Bedienungsanleitung (auf Deutsch und Englisch) ist gut verstndlich, trotz ein paar Eigenwilligkeiten, z.B. das Wort “Schlafmodusigkeit”.
Die Steuerung des Luftreinigers erfolgt ber das Display an der Oberseite. Es gibt keine Fernbedienung und keine App zur Steuerung, was ich aber nicht negativ finde. Der Luftreiniger hat einen Automatik-Modus, in dem er selbst die Luftqualitt misst und die Lftergeschwindigkeit reguliert. Die Luftqualitt wird auch farblich angezeigt (grn – sehr gut, blau – gut, orange – mig, rot – schlecht).
Da bei uns der Luftreiniger den ganzen Tag luft, ist die Luftqualitt meistens im grnen Bereich. Dann luft der Lfter im Nacht-Modus und ist so ruhig und leise, dass man ihn gar nicht hrt. In hheren Stufen ist der Luftreiniger aber schon deutlich zu hren.
Beachten sollte man noch die Folgekosten des Luftreinigers, die beim Filtertausch entstehen. Erfahrungsgem ist dies alle 3-6 Monate ntig. Aktuell kostet der Ersatzfilter knapp 30 Euro.
Den Homvana Luftreiniger Allergiker mit H13 HEPA Filter habe ich mir frs Schlafzimmer bestellt. Leide unter Hausstauballergie und die Luft ist in der Grostadt an einer vielbefahrenen Strae ohnehin nicht
ganz so gut. Die Feinstaubwerte steigen gerade nachts und bei Regen an, was die ohnehin schon durch die Allergie strapazierten Schleimhute nur noch mehr belastet.
Da helfen solche Gerte schon ganz gut wie ich aus Erfahrung sagen kann. Habe ein Philips-Gert im Office stehen.
Der Homvana Luftreiniger hat einen 4-stufigen H13 Hepa-Filter. Der kann auch gegen Viren und beladene Aerosole filtern. Hier aber gleich schon mal der Hinweis, das die Filter grundstzlich nur begrenzt funktionieren und irgendwann ausgetauscht werden mssen.
— Optik/Material/Fertigungsqualitt –:
Der Homvana kommt in Farbe Weiss mit schwarz abgesetztem Oberteil. Passt bei uns super zur Tapete. Und anders als den Philips kann man den gut an die Wand stellen, da er nicht rund, sondern
eckig ist. Das Design gefllt. Material und Fertigungsqualitt knnen berzeugen. Sieht recht wertig aus und mir gefllt, das die Filterabdeckung magnetisch angebracht ist. Diese Abdeckung weit
reichlich Lcher auf und seitlich sind lange Schlitze, so das fr guten Luftumsatz gesorgt ist.
— Bedienung –:
Die Bedienung des Gerts ist sehr einfach. Eigentlich braucht man nicht mal ne Anleitung ;). Smtliche Bedienelemente an der Oberseite sind als Touchtasten ausgefhrt und mit entsprechend eindeutigen Symbolen versehen. Viel zu bedienen gibt es auch nicht.
Nach Einschalten des Gertes kann man den Auto-Modus verwenden. Da regelt er die Luftmenge selbst. Sofern sich die Luftqualitt verschlechtert, ndert sich die Farbe der Anzeige von grn ber blau auf orange und rot und es wird die jeweils nchste Stufe des Ventilators gezndet. Und es wird entsprechend lauter. Wird die Qualitt wieder besser, setzt sich der Homvana automatisch zurck. Kennt man von anderen Gerten dieser Art. Die Abstufungen sind aber nicht immer so fein.
Neben Automodus gibt es auch einen 3-stufigen, manuellen Modus, der dann auch in Kombination mit einem 3-stufigen Timer (2,4,8h ) verwendet werden kann.
Zu guter Letzt gibt es noch den SilentAir- Modus. Finde ich besonders gut. Nacht will man eigentlich nichts von dem Gert hren und auch nicht sehen. Beides lt sich durch Verwendung des Silent-Modus und des Display-Off-Schalters erreichen. Das Gert ist dann sehr leise. Habe es jetzt nicht direkt neben dem Kopfende des Bettes stehen, aber knnte mir vorstellen, das selbst dies funktionieren wrde.
Ach so: Wenn der Filter arg versifft ist, leuchtet eine rote Anzeigelampe auf.
Wie bei solchen Gerten mit optischen Sensor blich, setzt sich dieser irgendwann ebenfalls zu. Dieser ist ber eine kleine Klappe an der Seite des Gertes gut zugnglich und kann
mittels Wattestbchen ebenfalls einfach gereinigt werden. Das soll dann wohl in krzeren Intervallen passieren. Also alle 2 Monate.

Schlafzimmer hat ca. 25qm. Also sollte der Reiniger ausreichend Kapazitt mitbringen. Mir ist mehr lieber als weniger 😉 Der Homvana sollte bis zu Grundflchen von 35qm einsetzbar sein. Er soll eine Flche von 35 m2 in 17 Minuten und 48 m2 in 25 Minuten.
Schtze mal, da wurde mit Durchschnittsraumhhen gerechnet. Der Umsatz ist 240m^3 /h.
Das Gert steht in einer Ecke und macht meistens nicht viel. Gerade nachts ist das Teil wirklich unhrbar und nicht zu sehen. Das ist bei dem Philips auch anders. Das blaue Licht hat mich immer irgendwie gestrt.
Das Gert luft eigentlich den ganzen Tag im Automodus. Ab und zu springt er dann mal fr ein paar Minuten an. Luftqualittsvernderung werden mit etwas Verzgerung aber zielsicher erkannt.
Habe mal testweise eine Zigarette geraucht. Das wird direkt erkannt und er beginnt mit der Arbeit. Energieverbrauch drfte sich je nach Luftqualitt in Grenzen halten.

Ist dank der Magnetabdreckung recht einfach ersetzbar. Abhngigkeit vom Verschmutzungsgrad ab soll das alle 3-5 Monate gemacht werden. Den knnt ihr ebenfalls auf dieser Plattform fr knapp 30 Euro bestellen.

Guter gemachter Luftreiniger mit guter Wirkung und einfacher Bedienung. Ich hoffe mal, das die Lfterlager ausreichend lange mitmachen und die Ersatzfilter gut verfgbar bleiben.
Dann kann ich den Homvana Luftreiniger durchaus empfehlen. Steht in Sachen Qualitt und Leistung den Produkten namhafter Hersteller in nichts nach.

I first needed air purifier because of my new computer to avoid any dust in air to come close to it. And this is the job that Homvana does very well! Homvana does take some space in room, but I dont mind when it works perfect. On the top there are few soft touch buttons. Most of the time I leave it ON over a day and always on minimum, no needs to go for higher speeds. At this level I can barely hear it.
Back cover is very easy to remove as it holds with magnets as it can be seen on photos and then there is one big filter that covers complete back of purifier.
Only one thing I do miss, since this is “smart” purifier and that is connection via application to control it.

Sie bekommen einen Luftreiniger mit Filter. Tatschlich gehrt er von denen die ich benutze zu den leiseren seiner Art. Hier verdient der Name Nachtmodus den Namen auch.
Die Messungen die ich erstellt habe erfolgten lediglich mit einer App, der Nachtmodus ist allerdings SOOOOO leise, das selbst ich, der Netzteil Fiepen hrt, einschlafen kann.
Laut Hersteller Nachtmodus 22 dB, ich konnte nur mit einer APP auf dem Smartphone messen und kam auf 30, das drfte der Messtoleranz mit einer APP geschuldet sein. Ist letztlich auch egal das Ding ist leise. Das Ticken meiner Quarzuhr ist gefhlt 5x lauter.
Die Filterelemente sind im Ersatz fr um die 30 recht preiswert.
35 m2 in 17 Minuten und 48 m2 in 25 Minuten sollen laut Hersteller gereinigt werden, da ich keine Labor Ausstattung habe, kann ich das einfach nur so wiedergeben.
Gemessen mit der App habe ich folgendes:

Wonderful air purifier. Works well and no issues putting it together. I used this in my newly furnished apartment which smells badly. After one day’s use, the air quality enhanced quickly with no smells. It has lots of modes, like the sleep mode. It is extremely amazing that when I switched to sleep mode, there is no noise at all. I am a light sleeper, and any noise will make me crazy. But I am not influenced by the filter when it is on when I sleep.
The purifier has an air quality meter built in it which shows whats the quality of the air in the room. The auto mode adjusts the fan power and filtration based on the quality of the air. There is a timer as well which can be set according to our needs. I also suffer from hayfever. I am planning to use this purifier during the summer.
Ich habe den Homvana Luftreiniger bestellt und sehr schnell erhalten.
Der Luftreiniger kommt gut verpackt in einem festen Karton an. Innen ist er mich Schaumstoff und einer Folie gesichert. So kommt er gut und ohne Beschdigungen an.
Der Reiniger hat eine Beschreibung dabei und eine Kurzbeschreibung liegt auch noch auf dem Gert. Die Beschreibung ist jeweils auf Deutsch und Englisch. Ich finde das sehr gut.
Zuerst muss man die Abdeckung vom Gert nehmen, den Filter auspacken und das Kabel befreien. Dann kann es schon losgehen. Eigentlich braucht man keine Beschreibung. Das Gert kann man auch so bedienen.
Dein On/Off Schalter drcken, die Geschwindigkeit des Ventilators einstellen und wenn man mchte, einen Timer. Einfach berall drauf drcken und fertig.
Das Gert ist wirklich sehr leise. Ich habe es auf Stufe eins beim Ventilator stehen. Man hrt nur etwas, wenn man direkt nebendran steht.
Gerade im Sommer finde ich das Gert doppelt praktisch. Der Luftstrom, der aus dem Gert strmt, khlt. Im Winter vielleicht nicht so praktisch, im Sommer durchaus gut zu gebrauchen.
Das Gert luft super. Die Anzeige fr die Luftqualitt finde ich auch sehr interessant. Seit ich das Gert in Betrieb genommen habe, zeigt es grn an. Ich habe zu Hause also schon einmal eine sehr gute Luftqualitt. Da bin ich doch glatt sehr zufrieden damit.
Ob das Gert jetzt wirklich alles aus der Luft filtern kann, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ich bin kein Experte fr solche Gerte. Ich kann sagen, es ist klein, luft fast geruschlos und ist super einfach zu bedienen. Vor allen Dingen gefllt mir der Timer, damit der Luftreiniger nicht ewig luft, wenn man ihn vergessen hat, auszuschalten. Da er ja so leise ist, kann man das mal fix vergessen.
Meine Frau hat in diesem Jahr mit den vielen Pollen leider sehr hufig mit ihrer Allergie zu kmpfen, weshalb sie hufig Medikamente brauchte. Nun hatten wir die Mglichkeit, diesen Luftreiniger zu testen – und sind wegen der Wirkung sehr positiv berrascht.

FAZIT:
Die nchtlichen Husten/Schnuppen-Attacken meiner Frau haben seit der Benutzung des Luftreinigers deutlich nachgelassen. Der Test hat sich bewhrt und wir mchten das Gert nicht mehr missen. Insbesondere die kleinen Mae stren in unserem ohnehin kleinen Schlafzimmer nicht. Meist gengt es, das Gert vor dem Schlaf kurz laufen zu lassen – das erledigen wir dann, wenn wir uns im Badezimmer fr die Nacht fertig machen. Insofern ist dieses Gert eine wirkliche Bereicherung fr uns und sorgt fr einen entspannten Schlaf.
FILTERLEISTUNG: Der Reiniger hat einen 4-stufigen Filter: 1. Ein Gewebe-Vorfilter fr grobe Partikel. 2. Ein Aktivkohlefilter fr feine Partikel. 3. Ein HEPA13-Filter fr feinste Partikel. 4. Ein Aktivkohlefilter fr Chemikalien. Die Filterleistung betrgt HEPA13, d.h. es werden 99,95% der Partikel abgeschieden, d.h. von 100.000 Partikel kommen 50 Teile durch. Zum Vergleich: Bei einer FFP2-Maske kommen von 100.000 Partikeln 6.000 Teile durch. Diese Luftreiniger filtert also 120mal besser als eine FFP2-Maske! Der Luftreiniger hilft also sicher gegen das Corona-Virus und natrlich auch gegen grere Partikel wie Pollen, Staub, Bakterien, Milben, Schimmelsporen, Rauch und viele Chemikalien. Der Luftreiniger saugt Luft von drei Seiten an und blst die gereinigte Luft nach oben hin aus.
KAPAZITT: Der Luftreiniger schafft auf hchster Stufe 35 qm in 17 Minuten, 48 qm in 25 Minuten und 93 qm in 48 Minuten zu reinigen. Das sind schon beachtliche Werte. Allerdings ist bei den Flchen zu bercksichtigen, dass die Luft im ganzen Raum zirkulieren msste. Praktisch bedeutet das: Der Luftreiniger schafft es, einen groen Raum zu reinigen, nicht jedoch eine ganze Wohnung, die aus mehreren Rumen besteht.
STEUERUNG/LAUTSTRKE: Das Geblse lsst sich auf drei Stufen + Schlafmodus einstellen. Normalerweise startet man mit hchster Stufe und stellt dann, je nach Raumgre, nach 15 bis 25 Minuten auf eine kleinere Stufe zurck. Auf hchster Stufe ist das Geblse zwar nicht unangenehm, aber deutlich zu hren, in etwa wie ein Ventilator. Auf niedrigster Stufe ist das Geblse nahezu lautlos, um im Schlafmodus praktisch berhaupt nicht mehr zu hren. Der Schlafmodus ist wichtig fr Allergiker, die eine permanente Luftreinigung bentigen – und man kann das Gert wirklich die ganze Nacht ber laufen lassen. Es ist praktisch lautlos; die Displaybeleuchtung kann man ausschalten und der Energieverbrauch ist nicht der Rede wert (30 Watt auf hchster Stufe; im Schlafmodus ca. 5 Watt). Es gibt auch eine automatische Steuerung anhand eines Luftqualittssensors (der wahrscheinlich den CO2-Wert misst), die ich allerdings nicht empfehlen wrde, weil der Partikelgehalt nichts mit der Luftqualitt zu tun hat. Partikel (Pollen, Viren etc.) will man sofort mglichst schnell ausfiltern und danach reicht eine niedrigere Stufe.
HANDHABUNG: Das Gert ist kompakt und leicht und lsst sich im Nu irgendwo hinstellen (sinnvoll ist eine mittelhohe Position, z.B. auf einem Tisch oder einer Anrichte). Die Bedientasten sind praktisch selbsterklrend, aber es gibt auch eine deutschsprachige Anleitung. Man kann auch einen Timer programmieren, damit sich das Gert nach einer vorgegebenen Zahl von Stunden von selbst abschaltet.
WARTUNG: Der Vorfilter frs Grobe lsst sich absaugen und sogar auswaschen. Das kann man, je nach Verschmutzung der Luft, alle paar Wochen tun. Die anderen Filterelemente halten sich bei tglichem Gebrauch ca. 6 bis 8 Monate, bei seltenerem Gebrauch entsprechend lnger. Es gibt eine Anzeige fr verstopfte Filter. Ein neues Filterelement lsst sich einfach bei Amazon bestellen ( B09R1MNNMN ) und kostet ca. 25, was ein angemessener Preis ist.
VERARBEITUNG: Solides Kunststoffgehuse, nicht klappert, alles passt, wirkt hochwertig.
PREIS/LEISTUNG: Angemessen, auch unter Bercksichtigung des Preises fr Ersatzfilter. Sehr gute Leistung zu einem fairen Preis.
FAZIT: Uneingeschrnkte Kaufempfehlung.

Mich hat dieser Homvana Luftreiniger positiv berrascht. Er luft nachts durch in einem Homeoffice von 25 Quadratmetern Gre, wo es wegen trotz auf Kippe stehender Fenster immer leicht nach Nikotin riecht (wegen ca. 5 gerauchter Zigaretten pro Tag in diesem Raum). Ich werde das Gert jetzt auch tagsber laufen lassen, es ist nmlich sehr leise. Ob das Gert wie vom Hersteller beschrieben auch erfolgreich Pollen filtert, wei ich nicht (bin zum Glck von Allergien verschont).

I am currently renovating my house and have a baby, as a result i need to make sure that the air quality is good as we have a lot of dust due to the building work. I used this in my kitchen which is a fairly open space, the different coloured lights were useful to assess the current quality of the air in that room. The air purifier is quite enough so that is it barely noticeable and also has a sleep mode.

I have an air purifier in every room and I must say even though I have had it on for almost 3 solid months, I was not sure whether it was making a difference or not…this was until our local farmers started fertilizing the fields nearby, with human excrements and the smell…OMG! It had never been that bad, seriously and some of the purifies took a lot longer than this one to clear the air and let me breathe again! i did not even close the window fully and still, my bedroom was nice and fresh, despite an incredible stench outside. On that note, I felt it was safe t o pass my verdict! It is also very energy efficient, as I did not really notice much of a difference in my electric bills and I sleep so much better with it on – not noisy either! Definitely worth every penny!
Easy enough to plug in and use. I have it on the highest level and there is definitely a soft noise to it but it is drowned out eventually and you don’t even notice. So far so good.

We’ve had this Homvana Air Purifier running for about four weeks now. We have located it in our hallway so that, with the doors pretty much permanently open, it covers the living room and kitchen areas on either side. We tend to run it for about 30 minutes a couple of times each day. Usually mid day and early evening. With three dogs, a cat, the central heating and the occassional air of muck spreading from the adjacent farm blowing in our direction air quality isn’t always the best.
Its very noticeable how much the air quality has improved, even for me who has no respiratory conditions, though since this air purifier has been in situ. Our niece who is allergic to cats has commented that she feels a great improvement when she visits. Several other regular visitors have also mentioned that the atmosphere feels fresher and cleaner.
The unit is easy to use and set up. It comes with easy to understand unstructions. It operates quietly and though its fairly large doesn’t take up a great deal of space due to its shape as it can be sited flush to a wall. For anyone with respiratory issues or who just wants to have fresh clean air indoors I’d happily recommend this Homvana Air Purifier.
The most important thing to me is that when it is on– it doesn’t knock and rattle. It definitely does not do that. It sounds solid and smooth when it is on. I like the light on the front that tells you what the air quality is. I also like that it has a light that notifies you when it is time to change the filter. I also like the auto setting– which detects the air quality and triggers the fan to higher or lower speed.
For this price, I would have liked some wifi or app access. I do know that other air cleaners in this price point do have app access so you can change the speed of the air cleaner from the app and keep up with the air quality in the room from the app. This one does not have that and for the price, I think it should. If the wifi/app access does not matter to you– this is a good pick up.

1. The air purifier comes in a branded white presentation box along with a well written instruction booklet, in English and German.
2. Taped to the top of the appliance is a card telling you how to remove the back filter cover, then the filter from its plastic bag, replacing the filter with the tabs towards the outside and finally closing the cover. The cover is cleverly held closed by magnet catches. There is about 170cm of cable and an attached three pin plug.
3. On the top, along with vents, is the display/control panel. They are touch/tap buttons – you have power, auto mode, fan speed, timer, sleep mode, filter. You can have three fan speeds and the timer can be set for 2, 4 or 8 hours. The power button will remember the last fan speed setting from the last use. The auto mode means that the appliance will automatically optimise the fan speed based on the indoor air quality. The sleep mode is the quietest setting and while this is on the power light dims and the other details lights are off.
4. The filter has a pale grey washable part that you should vacuum or brush every 2-4 weeks and wash just that part every 1-2 months – it is attached with Velcro The machine will display when you need to change the whole filter which will probably be between 6-8 months. You can buy replacement filters from Amazon. The air sensor on the side of the unit has a cover, which you remove every two months and clean the lens with a damp cotton swab and then a dry one to mop up any moisture.
5. The air quality notification is via four colours displayed – red, orange, blue and green ranging from bad to very good.
6. There is a main instruction about not standing on ‘floors, carpet or rugs’. I do wonder if this has partly got confused in translation, as you would be standing it on a floor at least but I have put a wooden board under it, in my carpeted bedroom. Underneath the unit there are two grey silicone bar shaped feet, for stability.
7. I have been using it for a while now and am definitely getting less congested at night time. It will be a boon during the hay fever season. The sleep mode is quiet enough for me.
8. The current price of 159.99 is fine, in my opinion, for the quality of air that I am now getting.
For an air purifier this is very good at what it does. It may not be the best but then again nor is it a high end purifier. This air purifier is mid range as it has two fans, has some of the control of high end purifiers and it has a HEPA filter. It is preassembled so all one needs to do is open the cover, remove the filter from the packaging and replace the filter before putting the cover back on. Once the filter is correctly in place it is a matter of simply putting the plug into a socket and switching on.
The control over this is not as good as a six fanned high end model nor does it display the air quality but it does clean the air even though it does take longer than the high end ones. However, it is far superior to the budget ones that have only one fan and aren’t HEPA. They take forever to clean the air and possibly never do so.
The only real negative thing about this air purifier is the noise level. Even my six fan one doesn’t work as loudly as this mid range one does. That being said, once the air has been cleaned a fair bit, on high speed, one can simply switch it over to Auto so that the speed will come down to level two and eventually level one. The lowest speed level is relatively quiet.
This product doesn’t come with a remote control but then again I have never used the remote on my high end purifier as it’s not needed due to the same controls being on the touch panel.
There is a timer so one can leave this on for four hours, eight hours… or simply leave it on permanently. One thing to bear in mind is that should this be left on constantly then the filter will need replacing sooner rather than later and HEPA filters are not cheap.
The quality of this product is good, it is strong, reliable and will last a long time thus being good value so I am recommending it.

This is so cool – I’ve always wanted to try an air purifier! This is quite big but also nice and thin so easy to slot away. The touch screen controls on top are a cool touch and easy to use! I liked how easy it was to use and nothing is overly complicated. I’m not sure if it has actually had any effects but I do feel better for having it! Although I don’t think I could sleep with it on. Even though the first mode isn’t too loud I am a light sleeper and it would definitely disturb me – the higher modes are much louder too!
I wanted this for my bedroom to help my husband who has various allergies and is always a bit wheezy at night.
The unit is lightweight and compact and perfect for the spot that i wanted it to sit in, next to his bedside table. The only trouble is, it can’t sit on carpet and our bedroom is carpeted, so now we have had to put it on a piece of board, which doesn’t look very nice in the bedroom. That is a disappointment.
The biggest positives for me are that it is quiet enough to run at night – it doesn’t disturb my sleep and there are no annoyingly bright lights showing at night either.
It works well, it is certainly easy to use and I think will make a difference come the pollen season.
We have pets, so anything that can remove allergens from the air for him is worth having.
So all in all, this is good, but it is a real shame you can’t stand it on carpet – maybe it should come with a hard tray for that purpose.
A somewhat slimline and attractive, medium-sized air purifier for home use, this product packed more of a punch than I expected it to, especially for the decent price! Designed to capture most airborne particles including dust, smoke, mould and pet dander, this seemed the perfect answer and so far, it has been, especially for use in the bedroom overnight.
For one, this is the most high tech of air purifiers I’ve ever used, with so many different settings, including – most exciting to me – the auto setting which detects the quality of the air and then decides the setting based on that – amazingly this seems to work and is now the only setting I use during the day time as it will adjust as the air quality is improved through the purifier. There are however different settings too, including a sleep setting which is perfect for use overnight as it is super quiet. There are normally lights but with use of the sleep setting, this turns them off and on the lowest setting especially, with barely any noise, this is even perfect for light sleepers. There are higher settings that are louder, and perfect for use during the day time as a ‘boost’ for each room. This has a timer, meaning this can be left unattended and will automatically turn off after a number of hours using this setting, and, according to the product description, a very low energy rating.
For a home with dogs, like ours, this has made a significant difference and especially for my husband, who does suffer from allergies; when we’ve used this overnight he has not awoken feeling groggy, swollen or sore which is such an improvement and goes to show how much this is doing to the quality of our air. This is a mid-priced product and I’d say in line with the quality of the product. I would happily recommend.
I have opted for these one as its bigger which can easily cover the entire living room unlike the previous I got. Its a lot quieter and has smart mode that can easily be operate. I love how I can set timee for it as I forget things also saves you electricity. I have very bad dust allergy and these helps a lot.
These will be great for the upcoming spring season which I am dreading causing bad pollen allergy. These air purifier is a must, as its usable in all seasons keeping house with clean air. Also tells you when to change filter which is the main thing and last about 3-5 months or depends how much I used it so its worry free. Its highly recommended especially with those people having bad allergies and also keeps your house free from viruses and bacteria build up.

The instructions are very good very easy to read and understand the only thing I can’t find out is where is the best place to position the purifier.
The operation is easy to operate simple press buttons already I have seen the displays move from blue to green on the auto setting.
The noise is very low can’t hear it when you it on have it on low and the normal sound of a fan when on the fastest setting.
Can’t believe how easy it is to remove the filter and clean snd then put back in, the case back case seems magnetic so locates very easily. Just clean when the light comes on brilliant.
It’s s high price at 160 but I have noticed a difference already in the living room where we have it.
Great throughput and within a couple of hours I could see the improvement. The air gets very dusty with 2 cocker spaniels that are always outside in the mud and the fields. I would recommend this. Hope it helps.
The air purifier works well. I get hayfever to the max. Normally not the biggest issue when I work in a office where the aircon usually filters the pollen out. At home, not so much! Step in this machine to help filter pollen. It does work very well and easily.
The machine is quiet and easy to use. Note wooden floor is more ideal then carpet however due to the way the machine takes in the air. Filter needs replacement so bare that in mind as it adds cost. However performance wise works well.
Keep in mind, there is a voucher which knocks 25% off as of writing which makes it 119. The base price is otherwise slightly more expensive.
With 3 cats and 1 dog in the house, air purifiers are important household appliances for us. I have had a mini one in my study room, a medium sized for my bedroom and I am glad to finally get a large one for my sitting room.
It does not look bulky at all. In fact, it has a space saving design. Plug in, switch it on and it starts working, it’s powerful enough to purify our large sitting room. I normally set the timers for 2 hours before lunch and after dinner to purify the air in the room and We can feel the refreshing feeling it brings us. It is a lightweight machine so it’s easier to move it around the house. Sit back and enjoy.
I am so lucky I had the chance to be able to try this air purifier. It is well made and easy to set up. Even the instructions are easy to follow! The instructions come in English and German.
I thought I was going to receive something big and bulky, but it is, in fact, smaller than I was expecting (a good thing!). It’s lightweight and easy to carry around when you want to place it in a different room.
It works really well, great for keeping the air in your house as pure and clean as possible.
I like that the air purifier is quiet and doesn’t annoy you if you are working or watching tv, etc. You can even sleep soundly a night.
I’m looking forward to the summer months when I can test how well it works with the amount of pollen about.
The only thing that would make this better for me is if it came with a spare filter, these can be purchased separately.

A high quality air purifier from Homvana designed for use at home in either bedrooms or even large living rooms. The unit stands about approximately 15 inches high is light weight and easy to carry from room to room. The unit is installed with a 4 stage air filtration matrix which effectively removes pollutants from the air such as smoke mould dust particles and even bacteria.
Set up process is simple and straight forward. First remove the unit from very substantial packaging! Take out the rear panel and remove the filter matrix from its plastic bag and replace with the tabs facing outwards. Plug into the mains and the unit will briefly light. To switch on, tap the “on” button (needs quite a firm tap) you will here the fan come on and a coloured LED display which indicates the air quality in the room. Green (very good) Blue (good) Orange (moderate) and Red (poor). In Auto mode the fan speed increases according to the air quality detected. Alternatively in manual mode you can choose a fan speed operation and for a bedroom use there is a very quiet 22db sleep mode. There is also a timer function which will automatically switch the unit off after a specified pre selected period of time 2, 4 or 8 hours. A red LED will illuminate when the filter matrix needs changing. The instruction manual (in both English and Deutsch) says the filter matrix should be periodically removed and washed and eventually replaced between 6 to 8 months.
I do like this home air purifier, it’s well made, the instructions are clear and simple to understand, the unit is smart and easy to set up. Most importantly it works quietly and effectively to keep the air in your home free of pollutants and as clean as possible. The main drawback and why I have awarded 4 stars and not 5, is the 4 stage HEPA filtration matrix which represents an ongoing expense. It would have been nice had a spare filter been included in the box. The instruction manual says these can be obtained by visiting the Homvana online store on Amazon but that page doesn’t appear to be available yet. I did eventually find the correct replacement HEPA filter available at 29.99 from Amazon.
EDIT: I have since been contacted by Homvana Customer Services who kindly sent me a spare HEPA filter matrix. In view of this thoughtful gesture and the 3 year warranty offered with this product I have now awarded 5 stars. Highly recommended
It’s a amazing air purifier specially on winter as we keep the windows closed. Has a air quality indicator that’s help to check how is going. Doesn’t make noise so is comfortable to keep working while we’re sleeping. Is effective against pollen, bacteria, dust and much more so is really helpful who has allergy as my daughter. It’s just bigger then I was expecting so take a good space.
After trying few days, I can say that this is so need it for have a better air quality at your home. The size is perfect and doesn’t bother much in any room of your house. In my case I’m using it in my room which is not really small and covers perfectly all the area.
Since the first moment is simple to use, just tap the AUTO button and start to works in any speed, depends on the quality of the air. Normally at the beginning is faster as the quality normally is a bit worse than later. When detects that is good, it just goes lower and is changing every time that it feels that is worse.
Then on the night mode, what I love is that is so quiet and not noisy at all. You can sleep perfectly all night with the purifier on, and you will not even realise that is there. If the light of the buttons are disturbing for you, is possible to switch off.
What to say, I would absolutely recommend this product, is worth it every pound.
A home air purifier, complete with a hepa filter, to help filter out airborne allergens. It will also help to filter out animal hair, smoke, dust or mould etc.
The machine is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. The size is suitable for large rooms like living rooms, or even smaller ones like bedrooms.
First remove the back panel and remove the filter from the plastic bag, replace it with tabs facing out.
To operate the purifier, you just need to press the auto mode button and the machine will do everything for you. You get four colour coded air quality indicators, red (bad), orange (moderate), blue (good) and green (very good). The purifier will auto optimize the fan speed, based on the surrounding air quality, without any worries about manually adjusting the machine.
Other controls include a sleep mode, so can enjoy undisturbed sleep with it operating as low as 22dB. Also, you can turn off all the display lights with the ‘Display Off’ button, so the lights also won’t disturb your sleep.
It comes with a 3 speed fan and a 2, 4 and 8 hour timer, so that you can have it automatically shut off. There is also a red filter change light, informing you when you should change the filters.
There is a little side panel that you can remove and clean and dry the sensor inside.
The outer part of the filter can be gently brushed to remove larger particles, ie hair or large bits of fluff, that will extend the life of the filter in the end.
The instruction booklet is well written and explains everything clearly.
Some of my children and grandchildren suffer from hay fever, and these sorts of air purifiers help clean the air in the house, especially bedrooms, so when they wake up, they don’t seem to suffer from the normal effects of hay fever, like sticky eyes and sneezing etc. and leaving it running, especially when the pollen seasons start, this air purifier can only be a big bonus.
Been using it for 3 days in the living room and does see some improvement to the air quality. Similarly the amount of dust on on furniture and floor are also reduced, normally I need to vacuum once every two days and on the 3rd day, the amount of dust picking up by the vacuum cleaner is clearly less than usual.
The air quality indicator is constantly on green, hence I might not notice that much of a difference, however, might be significant if this was placed on flat/building next to heavy traffics. Or perhaps this would be more effective during summer months when pollen level are high.
It is very quiet, take some time to get used to, as just like fan during summer.

Lastly, would be more happier if a spare set of filters is included, or easier obtainable.
This Homvana branded air purifier is supplied in a large attractive box with bilingual instructions (English and German) and care notices. It is mains powered and stands about 15.5″ high. It is very easy to unpack and everything you need is in the box. Set up is equally simple and just requires removing the plastic wrapping from the around filter, fitting it and closing up the removable side. It is well made with a mainly plastic outer housing and looks attractive in its gloss white and black finish. There are various useful mode options and these are very straight forward to set.
In use, it is very quiet even with the fan on the highest setting. There is a night time mode that is whisper quiet as well as an automatic mode. There is a colour coded read out for air quality and a timer mode that can be set to 2, 4 or 8 hours. The single main filter will last between 6 and 8 months, depending on conditions and usage, and there is an indicator light to show when it needs changing.
My family all suffer from asthma and allergies, to a greater or lesser extend. I am looking forward to using this in our main rooms and hopefully seeing less dust, dirt and sneezes. From the tests we have done so far our air quality is better than expected and we got a solid green light in the house. I tried it in the garage after parking the car and it went from orange to blue as it cleaned the air. So, at least, it is nice to know that the indicator does change if the air quality drops. This device is certainly capable of shifting some air and seems to have the effect of blowing out what seems like colder air. We have only had it for a couple of days to try this out but so far very much so good. We have already noticed that we are both breathing better and showing less signs of allergy or asthma. We tend to have the purifier on for a couple of hours in the evening in the lounge and we have also run it in one of the bedrooms that has been a problem ‘dust’ area in the past (despite regular cleaning).
The only downside that I have found so far is potentially the availability of replacement filters. None seem to be available via the Amazon UK site or via a wider internet search. There are some similar looking filter units and at the moment one might have to take a punt at one of those, when the time comes. Hopefully, the supplier will rectify this and to be fair I have not tried to contact them about it yet. UPDATE: Spare filters are now available via the Amazon website.
That aside this is a very good air purification unit. It is reasonably priced and ultimately does its job quietly and well. What more can you ask. I did consider dropping a star because of the filters but in the end decided the unit deserves full marks. It will be a matter of personal choice but for me there are always ways around these kinds of concerns. In any case, in project management terms, it is only a potential risk rather than an issue at the moment that may well be resolved by the time I need to replace the old one. I just love this unit and would definitely recommend it. As to the filter, well, we will have to cross that bridge at some point but I am fairly confident it will not be a big issue. Ah! clean air, just about perfect.
