It silence and work effectively. I will definitely recommend this little gadge
A really good fridge freezer. I have recommended it to my friends.
Great size fridge freezer, we had one big one and needed a small one for drinks and veggies.
Arrived in a good packaging and very quickly.
Very happy with my purchase
Lik good arrived good coniton iwas out some one on behalf of me sorted it out we have 9 people were i live 4 of us ha products of sorts from you exelent work 100 percent perfec
Like the idea of a separate freezer for such a small fridge
Excellent item just annoyed that it was dumped in the front garden where anyone could have taken i
Very pleased with my little fridge. There is enough room in fridge to hold food for two people. No more. Freezer is perfect size also. Not good for people who cannot bend down very far.
Purchased for our guest room. It’s silent and very efficient. It’s exactly the right size and the split between fridge and freezer is perfect. Good choice and arrangement of shelving too.
Very happy. Delivered earlier that expected. Fits under the counter to perfectly
packing is thin so damage will always happen, mine had small damage on one side.
works very well the freezer is just right for one person.
A nice little under the counter fridge freezer that can pack a lot of items in it for such a compact size. Easy to set up and runs quietly.
My fridge did arrive with a small dent on the back of it, fortunately you can’t see it once it’s under the counter and it hasn’t caused any harm to the fridge other than superficial damage. For that reason I’ve knocked one star off
Shelves are rather short inside. The door has good shelving though… Best part is the roomy freezer for such a small fridge.
A great little fridge/freezer I purchased this in Dec 2016 and I am as delighted with it now in July 2018 as I was then.
Silent fridge freezer. Good capacity.internally. Very neat and ideal for small spaces Dormitory, bedrooms etc.
Separate fridge from freezer.
Came very quickly. I’m very happy with this fridge freezer.
Have been using this item for some months now and I can’t fault it.
Is amazing practice and is great for one or two persons I love i
I’ve recently bought a 47cm under-counter fridge freezer IG347FF. Actually I’m quite pleased. Especially with the speed they got it to me!
BUT I find the racks on the doors of both the freezer and the fridge are not well-thought-out (certainly for the British market). I’m at a bit of a loss as to what one is supposed to stick in the door-rack on the freezer. And the fridge racks don’t seem to take into account the size of standard items like 4-pint bottles of milk (a mite too big for the bottle rack; they seem to risk breaking it). There’s nowhere to put eggs. The glass shelf might as well be a 2-3 inches deeper because the rail on which it rests is 2-3 inches deeper, and the difference in depth between the 2 shelves means almost nothing will stand to the front on the bottom shelf if it’s taller than the top shelf. Meanwhile other compartments on the door don’t seem ideal for anything. The shelf behind the salad box should be flush with it so items can easily be slid to the back. So my impression is that, design-wise (apart from the fact that it fits the space I have and sports a bigger freezer than such units usually have) this is a bit of a dog.
I hate to say it, as a man, but it looks like a man designed it!
Ultimately, of course, the freezer would be better at the bottom so users don’t have to get on their hands and knees to see into the top of their fridge. I realise the current configuration might have a lot to do with cold descending and heat rising. Yet it’s food for thought.
The packaging is unfortunately woefully inadequate and the first one that was delivered was badly damaged on one edge so it was returned. The replacement arrived within two days and was perfect. Make sure you check for damage before accepting the item. However, it is a fantastic little fridge/freezer, just what I wanted for a back-up. The freezer compartment is surprisingly roomy and the fridge storage is well thought out. It is almost silent when it is running which is good. There are no external power lights and you can’t regulate the temperature of the freezer, but that is not important as it is so useful. Would definitely recommend this where you need a smaller unit.
Good straight from the box, it fit for purpose and I am loving it.
Perfect for a single person with a small kitchen area. If you’re not attempting to stockpile frozen food and just want to make sure you always have a fair selection of chilled and frozen food
This is a nicely made compact fridge freezer with a good solid cabinet. Ample room for a small larder fridge &/or as a second F/F for bits & bobs. It’s whisper quiet when running. One thing to keep in mind is that the protusion of the top hinge EXTENDS the height of the appliance from the floor to the top of the hinge = 84.8cm (Courtesy of Specialist Electricals & Ignenix). Also the depth is nearer to 50cm than 49cm due to the convex curve of the doors.
I tested the appliance using the same digital exterior/probe thermometer I use on our main Bosch F/F. Like the Bosch, the Igenix maintains a constant safe temperature inside the compartments once you have adjusted the thermostat against the ambient room temperature; between 0 -5 degrees Celcius for the Fridge & Minus 18 Dgerees Celsius or Colder for the Freezer.
All in all, a nice purchase and quality appliance with which we are extremely satisfied!
very easy and described as expected. you cant be disappointed.
Having downsized in a move following retirement, I no longer had room for my former fridge freezer, and needed to find something suitable. Looking at all the options, this model seemed to offer everything I needed from an under counter fridge freezer, and I ordered it via Amazon. It arrived at the time expected, in perfect condition. I followed the instructions, leaving it to stand to settle before plugging it in, and again leaving it before putting anything in it. I have now been using it for several weeks, the freezer section and the fridge both give ample space, and I would happily recommend this model to anyone with limited kitchen space!
Very pleased with my under counter lgenix works very well the bes
Very good little fridge, fitted perfectly in the area we wanted it for. Good value for money. We purchased it as second fridge.
It is small, but was just right for the space that I had
A good item. I got what I expected. There’s a small scratch right in the middle of the front door and a couple of grey marks on the inside hence 4 stars. But nothing major so we wouldn’t bother re-delivering or complaining. Amazon service was brilliant. Ordered at around 2pm and got it at 9am next day. Wow!!!
This is a good size for 1-2 people or as a second fridge – possibly drinks fridge . It states it is an under counter fridge freezer however it was unable to fit under our counter due to the freezer hinge which is on the top right hand corner (as you look at it) which made it impossible to go under.
I also agree with the other reviewers that there was minimal polystyrene packaging protecting the unit when delivered.
It is a quiet fridge and a has useful door shelves which are of useful size.
In summary a good, compact fridge and freezer however beware the top freezer door hinge when checking sizing
We got this to replace a small free standing fridge which was showing its age.
This Igenix unit appealed mainly because it has a separate freezer rather than an ice box like the old one.
It arrived well packed and was light enough for me to carry up a flight of stairs on my own. It seems to be ever so slightly smaller than the old (branded) unit it replaced, but it fits very neatly into the space and looks really good. I know the looks shouldn’t be a big factor, but when you walk past something every day it cannot be ugly!
The white finish wipes down well and interestingly it doesn’t show finger marks too badly. So far it is bearing up under daily use.
The freezer is the top door in the picture, and is big enough to fit perhaps a single person’s weekly frozen food in. So far it doesn’t seem to ice up too badly. We’ll see how it copes in the summer.
It is a slight inconvenience having the fridge section at the bottom, and we still find ourselves opening the freezer door by accident. Everything is kept really cold though, and I have no complaints at all.
So far so good.
To start with, the courier who delivered it decided that he couldn’t bring it up to my flat on the first floor so my other half had to lug it up the stairs. As others have pointed out, the packaging is a shambles and my unbothered courier did not handle the fridge freezer with care. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and look of the fridge freezer. The fridge section is more than adequate for a single person or a couple and it does fit under the counter in my flat. The freezer section is alright but I would need something bigger than 26 litres to hold my food. A great product, let down for me by the packaging and courier not delivering as he should have.
My unit arrived in perfect condition. Many other reviewers had damaged products on delivery. I would agree with them that the packaging is inadequate. It only has 1CM of polystyrene on all sides, so if it tips or falls during transit it will definitely get damaged.
Once you cut the cable straps, the box just lifts straight off which is handy. Once I lifted off the polystyrene and plastic cover I got a huge static shock off the unit, biggest static shock I’ve ever had. Just bear this in mind in case you have an implant that might be affected by this kind of shock.
You woul dbe able to fit 2Xw litre milks in the door in the “tall” section. There are several smaller door holders which are actually very deep. For it’s size the fridge is very spacious, with a large salad draw and two deep areas seperated by one shelf.
Hopefully I can upload some images to go with this review.
It’s a nice fridge freezer that would be great for one to two people. I have not heard of the brand before so maybe compare models and warranties before parting with your cash. Also if you have it delivered, be sure to check it before the delivery person leaves.

Specifications.
===============
I have taken these from the manufactures description.

* 26 litre freezer storage volume
* 96 litre gross volume
Packing and delivery.
=====================
It arrives in a strong box with a polystyrene interior and I would consider it well packed for delivery. I watched the DPD driver handle it and no problems here, lifted carefully onto his trolley up to my door and he offered to take it into our extension kitchen for me. Unpacking was easy and all the doors we taped shut to stop dramage while in transit. I have put these statements in because some other reviewers have had damaged products. Looking at the pictures it seems to be rough handling by couriers rather than inadequate packing. I seem to be lucky with the DPD drivers here in Cornwall as they are really good. I have contacted Amazon so that they can look into these issues on behalf of Igenix and their delivery channels.
Set up.
=======
This is easy just plug it in and leave it to cool the compartments for a few hours and it’s ready to be used.
Design.
=======
The inside has various compartments for all the essentials and it’s well thought out. The plastics seem of good durable quality.
The unit is very power efficient and very quiet in operation.
I have used this in my daughters flat (we converted our garage into a pad for her and it is small enough to fit in here without dominating the place. Living on her own she does not need a huge fridge freezer and this is an ideal model for the single person or older person on their own.
Overall.
========
A nice small but useful design that is well made and ideal for the flats, people living alone or caravans. So far very pleased with this product.
When this arrived and we unpacked it we noticed that one of the corners has been damaged (badly battered – as if it had been dropped on that corner). When we plugged it in it took several minutes to start to work and it does have a funny fizzing sound that I’m not used to hearing, but it does appear to be working. Obviously the manufacturers need to think about some proper protection for their product something better than flimsy and very thin strips of polystyrene.
The fridge freezer does fit under our counter – just – so please check the external dimensions properly.
You have a temperature control dial in the fridge part which gives you the ability to adjust for what you are putting in – there is no equivalent controller for the freezer which means that you will need to pull the plug to defrost it.
The gaps between the shelves are lovely and wide and the “salad drawers” are wonderfully big (or at least for me they are).
Due to illness I have a number of medications which need to be kept in the fridge. The problem with the salad drawers in our main fridge is that, even though the fridge freezer is about twice the size of this one, the salad drawers are about half the size – so this smaller fridge-freezer is much better for storing my medicines.
Since this fridge-freezer isn’t going to be the main one there will also be a reduced risk of someone picking up one of the packets with medicine in and accidently taking them thinking that they are generic pain medication.
We have always had problems getting the weeks shopping into the fridge and have had a small spare fridge to help with the overload – unfortunately the old spare sounds like a ww2 Lancaster bomber taking off in an echo chamber. I will admit that we drink a lot of milk and those bottles take up a large amount of room and we tend to get about 10 4-pinters per week – the storage using this fridge takes the strain off the main fridge.
This is a great fridge freezer with surprising capacity.
Recently, my fitted under counter freezer broke, so when I had the opportunity to try the igenix under counter combined fridge freezer it was perfect timing! This simply slotted into the gap left by my old one, and there is adequate space all around it. I have included a photo to show it in situ, so this may help you assess its overall size.
Operation is simple enough: simply plug it in and turn the dial to low, medium or max. The top freezer compartment features no such dial, but it does have a small stoarge space in the freezer door. The freezer compartment itself is deceptively spacious.
I had never heard of Igenix before tring this fridge freezer, but build quality looks on a par with leading manufacturers, and it uses good, strong plastics inside for the shelving and vegetable drawer. There is no self defrosting feature so I will have to use it for several months before I will be able to comment how often it requires defrosting.
A relatively small fridge freezer that will fit comfortably under counter top but take up relatively little width (I must admit the unit is bigger than I visualised base on the actual dimensions). Off course the small size is reflected in its storage capacity; the approximate internal dimensions:
Freeze compartment: 35cm x 31 cm deep x 20cm high; door shelf: 32cm W x 5.2 cm D
Main fridge compartment: 39cm W x 29cm D x 20cm H; plus fruit/veg box beneath: internally 36cm W x 16cm D x 16cm H
door shelves 35cm W (max) x 9.3cm D (min) x 20cm H (max) – or 43cm H with the top shelf removed.
There is an ice tray but no designated place to put it. To give some idea of the internal space a 4 pint milk container will just fit the bottom shelf of the fridge door if the small shelf above is removed.. Similarly a 1.5 lt bottle of fizzy drink will fit the door shelf, but a 2 lt bottle is probably too wide, the latter would have to lie flat in the main compartment either across the width, or front to back where it might foul items on the door shelves.
While the unit can be placed under a counter and between other units it should be noted that sufficient space needs to be left around it, the instructions state “100mm free space at the rear of the product and adequate clearance on each side and over the top”. It should be used in a room that is “well ventilated with an average temperature between 16C and 38C. If the temperature drops below this, your fridge freezer may start to defrost”. The fridge has automatic defrost but not the freezer, which will need the ice scrapped off when it builds up.
In operation the fridge freezer is very quiet, with a gentle hum occasionally accompanied by slight gurgling noises. The relatively plain appearance is quite smart to look at.
It should prove very useful where space is limited, maybe and office or bed-sit . . .
I should mention the packaging the fridge freezer came in, which on evidence would seem to be insufficient. On arrival one corner of the unit was damaged, also the plastic evaporation tray which sits on top of the motor was shattered – I had to glue it back together again, maybe they will supply a replacement. The damage does not surprise me when the polystyrene protection is just 1cm thick, that and a cardboard case is all there is to protect it in transit.
