as the connections are easy once you figure it out, but having never encountered this type before I was scratching my head for a while. The fitting gives great light on both choices of soft or bright settings. The added feature of a coloured background is a bit of a novelty but I guess could be useful to new guests who get up in the night!

Bought this for my sons room as after an electrician fixed the loose ceiling wire it dropped down again and was hanging from the ceiling. I decided to try a fit to ceiling light and this one is amazing for the price. Love its remote control, different warmths and brightness. The backlight of colours is also great, he has LED’S around his ceiling so it matches. Actually have another two on my list for my room and my other sons as he loves it too.
Bought this light for my bedroom. Quick delivery as always with Amazon. Easy to install, simple instructions. The light itself is exactly as described: you can control light temperature, intensity and colour background light, it has a very slim space-saving profile. For my bedroom I normally use medium intensity light and warmer temperature, but this light can go to really bright setting. You can assign your preferred settings to a dedicated button on remote control and recall these settings any time by pressing a button. There is also a useful “Night” button, which sets your light to a low intensity and warm setting. The most useful button for me is the “off” button, which allows to switch lights off without getting out of my bed. There is also colour backlight, which can either function together with a main light, or without, giving you an atmospheric room light. It is more of a gimmick for me, but could be useful for children’s bedroom or as a party/romantic mood setting. You can select one colour at a time, or colours can change from one to another. Colour changing mode is very quick, good for a party, but I would prefer a slow colour change, which is not available with this light. There is also a button on the remote to switch lights off with 60 sec delay, but with the remote control this is a useless function, I think. If the remote is lost, the light will still function with a normal on/off wall switch, but will remain in the last setting used. Losing remote should not be a problem in the bedroom, if you keep it in one place, but be careful if light is installed in other rooms and you have children or pets. How sturdy it is only time will tell, but you do not need to change any light bulbs, and LEDs should typically last for a long time consuming not much electricity. Overall, a good light with a good functionality, I am very pleased so far!
It is a very good light which I am using for my kid’s room. I was looking for light which my little one can’t reach from her bunk bed. I really liked this one as it can be dimmed when she sleeps . She liked it too as it has colours.

Easy to install and use. We installed to the on-suite bathroom and didn’t find anything difficult. As the video shows there are various modes including brightness (main light only), ring colour, white temperature and additional features including favourite and short timer. There’s also a memory feature which remembers last power up session. Very happy with the product.
This light is more than just a normal ceiling light, it is designed to provide a high quality light as well as offer some additional extras you don’t normally get. It is suitable for any room including environments such as bathrooms and kitchens where you can get steam and hence damp air as the light is IP54 waterproof as well as dust proof.
Fitting is fairly simple, you have a base plate you affix to the ceiling, clip the power wires into place and then fit the main light unit to the base plate. All fittings and instructions are provided.
Once up and running you can control this light using the supplied remote control (needs 2 x AAA batteries which are not included). This allows you to adjust all aspects of the light including brightness, light temperature etc… However it also has a built in RGB ‘backlight’ which allows the light unit to display a coloured halo around the top of the light against your ceiling, this can be set to any colour you wish which makes for a nice accent to the room.
It should be noted that you cannot use a light dimmer switch with this light, however as you can dim the light from the remote this is obviously not needed.
This is a good value package at a reasonable price.

This is an amazing ceiling light.
Not only are you able to change the tones of white you are wanting but you have full control of what colour RGB lighting you are wanting at the same time.
It really is amazing especially in our bathroom in which I love to turn the white off and just have the RGB colours cycling.
You do not even need to get out of the bath tub as the light comes with a remote too!
I can now have the light on for shaving and really nice and bright and afterwards for some relaxation I simply just leave the RGB on.

I’ve been installing these for the first time today and yesterday at home. Apart from not being an electrician at all and the apartment wires being different to the guide. I was able to fit these together and they look really nice on the ceiling.
The major issue is that I bought 4 of these lights and I installed two up in the living room and two in the hallway. The remote control seems to be on the same frequency for all of the lights so I can’t just turn one on at a time, all of them come. Makes it difficult changing the settings for the colours and flashing setting as well. There needs to be a frequency changer on the remotes, if that makes sense. To turn them off individually when there are multiple of these lights.
Really like this light, l got it for our bathroom as l like a bit of mood lighting while having a bubble bath.
Its lightweight and comes with all the fittings and good instructions.
I think its well priced.
Unfortunately l am still waiting for hubby to install it, as it doesn’t look as good sitting on the side of the bathroom cabinet with the remote control!
This light fitting is very slim and lightweight and simple to fit.I ordered this for my granddaughters room and looks great.The white light has different settings and gives bright clean light on top setting but was colours that were main reason ordered they give nice effect and remote works well.Nice lightweight ceiling ligh
This ceiling light has been easy for me to install and I like that it’s easy to use. It’s really changed the look of the room and I feel it’s really modern and I like the design. It’s nice and bright and I like that I can adjust the brightness, the colour options and lighting modes are fantastic and I like that I can use the remote to change it all. The remote is easy to use and has a good range on it, I’ve not had any problems with it. The light is strong, sturdy and durable so will last and I like that it’s LED and I don’t need to faff about with bulbs. It’s a decent size and does a great job of illuminating the room and it’s gentle on the eyes. I feel the value for money is very good because of the quality and I recommend it.
I absolutely love this LED ceiling light. It is super stylish and waterproof so can be used in any room.. you have choices of light colour temperature and various colours to choose from. It is dimmable, had a timer function and can be used as a night light and is controlled via wireless remote control. Super easy to install and great value.

Very easy to fit. Just screw the base plate to the ceiling (or wall I suppose) and connect the live and neutral wires. Then twist the light onto the base plate. The light is terribly versatile. Both in respect pof brigness options and the light colours/shades. Its all LEDs so will cost around a tenth to run compared with a 200 watt old style conventional bulb, even if its used at full brightness. The remote works very well too, though I’d keep it safe as I’m not sure how easy it is to replace should you lose or break it. Ideal for all dry areas in the house (I’d steer away from very steamy bathrooms and kitchens as its IP rating isn’t the highest).
A very plasticky ceiling light fitting, a bit less than a foot across. However, the build quality won’t really matter once it’s installed. What you get is a standard ceiling lamp with three light modes, than a backlight that bounces of the ceiling to create colour effects, either a choice of constant colours or a cycle of different colours. That can be turned off, though, so it just becomes a discrete room light
I guess if you are the kind of person where any kind of social gathering at your house could quite easily turn into an all-night rave, which I’m very much not, it’s a cool little gimmick. Don’t lose the remote though.
Nice ceiling light which comes with remote. Slim and will fit my simple decor as it’s not too in your face / bulky.
Easily installed by an electrician or a handy man as not complicated, well that’s what the other half says as there are just 2 wires to be connected instructions are also included.
Comes with an array of lights to tickle your fancy and there is also back lighting too.
Would look good in most rooms although there’s no mention of bathrooms which I don’t think would be suitable due to moisture levels.

This ceiling light is pretty straight forward to install and it has some nice lighting features such as colour changing back lighting and the main lamp can change from a warm white to a cold ice white.
I do think however that it’s slightly overpriced at just under 34 at time of this review but it is very easy to install and work.
It’s very flush and is a small unit and looks fine in our average sized kitchen, it will also look good in a small bathroom as well.
I would say that larger rooms would need a bigger unit.
It’s fully remote controlled with various options to select your preferred lighting, such as selecting a particular back light colour or having it fazing through different colours.
Always make sure that the power is turned off before attempting to install and if in any doubts always consult an electrician.
This unit has 2 simple wires (Live and Neutral) which are easy to connect with push button clamps that hold the wires. Then simply slot the terminal blocks back into the base plate and twist the shade on.
The base plate uses a few screws adequately placed to make sure the light is installed evenly.
It arrives with everything you need apart from batteries for the remote control.
The remote control takes 2 x AAA batteries.
Nice light unit with a great multicolour back light feature that looks great on its own or combined with the main light.
This is a must have….pleased do not think twice…you won’t regret buying this. First of all…the mounting on the ceiling part it was a bit difficult for me because i live in an apartment block so you can’t really drill anything in the ceiling….everything is concrete slab…even if i wanted to i couldn’t….but thankfully i did manage to screw the support in…with the wholes that where already there. I installed it in the bedroom….because we all know that “amazing” feeling when you get yourself all cosy in the bed and you realize you forgot to turn off the light….so…to fix that…having this light…you just get the remote and you can easily turn off the light…or dim the light if you wish…change the tone of the light from a cool white to a warm white…in a matter of seconds. You can also switch off the main light so you will have the coloured light remaining. So the colours are starting with red then followed by green, navy blue, yellow, light blue and bright pink. You can switch between them one by one…using the remote…or you can select the option that they will change by themselves….so it looks like your are having a disco party in your bedroom. If you loose the remote…you can use the main switch that you have to turn the lights on and off but you will loose all the options that i’ve mentioned above…so make sure you don’t loose that remote. I am extremely pleased with this. I am wholeheartedly recommending this to absolutely anyone. Worth every single penny.

You receive a simple to install ceiling light, which has a plastic feel to it.
As a light it’s clever, lots of light changing features, which are done via the remote control.
Installation is as easy as fitting this type of light can be, 2 wires, Live and Neutral, connect these and it’s wired, screw holes to fix the light base, and then attach the main body of the light, and it’s good to go.
It has built in LED lights, so no bulb required, only issue with that, is if and when the LED’s pack in, the fixing will need to be replaced rather than just a bulb, however with a 30,000 hour life, that’s a lot of time.
This is a good ceiling light, I like the light features, has a warm white light when not using the the colours, perfectly good ligh

This is an easily fitted slim profile ceiling light, though I suppose it could just as easily be mounted on a suitable wall?
The mail light is adjustable/dimmable through five levels of brightness the brightest being equivalent to 200W from incandescent bulbs, I have mounted ours in the Bathroom where we like a bright light, but it can be dimmed with a restful backlight for relaxed bathing! The control of the colour and the timer – yes it also sports a timer mode – is via an IR remote which surprisingly comes sans batteries!
Its LED so its cheaper to run and nicer on the eyes.

This ceiling light is ip65 rated so can be used in the bathroom as well as other areas. It comes with a remote control and has several dimming settings as well as 7 different colours. It is nice and big so gives off lots of light and it is very good for the price.
This light is great! Very slim, and surprisingly light given it’s size. The colour temperatures are very nice and are smoothly adjustable to give you just the right effect. Nicely frosted cover to distribute light evenly means that there’s no bright spots. It’s very even. The RGB gives a nice background lighting effect but isn’t particularly densely lighted so you do get a few bright spots from that but not bad. RGB either flashes between colours or you can choose a colour you like and even set it as a favourite by a remote hotkey. There is no smooth RGB transition mode however that I can find, so it’s either disco party or one colour.
I do have a couple of issues though:
1. The LED driver gets pretty hot pretty quickly. It does say it gets warm in the manual but being an LED nerd it’s a little too hot for me to be entirely comfortable with it.
2. It’s not really compatible with standard UK ceiling roses. The unit is designed to be flush-mounted to a ceiling but it only has a single live and single neutral spring-loaded terminal. So you’d either need to recess a ceiling rose into your ceiling or do some loose-termination within the housing of the light (there is a bit of room). Instead, I plan on using this as an over-bed reading lamp with a standard plug wired up to it.
I’ve been slowly replacing light bulb fittings to LED lights. They look better and last longer.
This LED is much thinner than others I have already. It’s lightweight with multiple light options. It was straightforward to fit and using it was simple. The remote requires 2x aaa batteries which are not included. There are loads of lighting options so you can adjust it to meet individual preference. Personally, during the summer, I prefer a cool or natural light.

It’s dimmable and has a remote control to work the features. The colour temperature goes from 3000 to 6000, equalling 3200 lumens/warm white to bright white light.
The back coloured light can be used simultaneously or independently. You can also switch the light to night mode and use a timer function to switch off at a desired time.
Be aware you will need 2x AAA batteries (not supplied) to power the remote.
It’s very easy to install. Simply attach the live and neutral wires into the correct connectors. Though I would not recommend you trying this yourself unless you are a qualified electrician.
This is a great ceiling light with many added feature, making the 30 or so good value for money.
The colour temperature, brightness, colour and light mode can all be changed using the remote which is responsive.
The light itself seems well made and durable. I’m unable to see any details on an expected lifespan but I’m hoping it lasts a while.
All in all it’s a good light and will serve its purpose well if you’re looking for a light with adjustable colours and brightness.
