Great quality product, easy to setup and connect. Battery life also very good
I have been using these for a year now and they are great!
Works perfectly with both iPhone and laptop. I use Teams for work and sound quality is great.
Haven’t tried the noise cancelling fully yet. Comfortable to wear for long periods too.
A French friend referred me to these at the beginning of the Zoom Era – March 2020, saying that while they seemed expensive they were the right thing for the job. It is worth investing in the right tools, and I have used them for hours and hours since then They are much better than the cheap headphones I started with. Comfortable. excellent sound.
These are perfect for my job, perfect for evaluating contact centre calls, the noise cancellation is so good, so much better than the cheaper brands they drown out the office buzz. At home I also cannot hear the washing machine or dryer in the next room with doors open. I like the little magnet for the microphone when you want to be muted on meetings. I sound really clear on meetings and even when my children are talking to me this cannot be heard by phonecalls at home or in meetings at work. They are comfy and battery lasts for a long time. The quality of the sound is great, I wish if have spent more money sooner on decent headphones like this for work. Definitely worth pennies and would recommend to anyone else who wears headsets in contact centre environments. I can connect to both my laptop via USB and phone via Bluetooth at the same time. If I want to hear a conversation i don’t need to take off my headset I can just press the left button which enables me to hear the office buzz again, can also answer teams/phone calls by pressing the button on the right side, that also hangs up the calls too.
With my work I spend a huge amount of time in conference calls so decided to invest in a good quality set of wireless headphones. These have been perfect from day 1, they’re not too bulky and are comfortable to wear for a couple of hours at a time. The sound quality is excellent and the Bluetooth connectivity even allows me to stay connected when I have to go to the door of my house 2 floors down from my office. I have the Bluetooth dongle connected to a Dell monitor that has a built in KVM and these switch seamlessly between two computers. I highly recommend.
I have had them over a year and use them every day. Mic and speakers quality is good for meetings and music. You have to be within in the same room otherwise you loose quality or connectivity. It connects not only to laptops but also to phones and switches smartly between calls when for example a call comes in whilst in a meeting.
Bought these to make working from home, with family online in the same room, easier.
I tried multiple other headphone/headset units for PC usage, many of which don’t appear to have gone through significant usability testing with both Windows and Softphone apps, so I sent them back. This device represents (to me) the gold-standard. It seamlessly switches between Windows and Softphone apps. For example, physically moving the mic away from and towards my mouth mutes and unmutes the mic. It can sumultaneously connect to both my phone and the PC, and the active noise cancellation in the headphones removes all of the intrusive low and mid frequencies from your surroundings, but leaves the high frequencies that maintain a ‘light connection’ with your surroundings so you’re not completely isolated, as well as excluding surrounding noise from what is sent to the other end. When you’re on a call, the earphones also light up with a red LED to warn anyone approaching that you’re busy.
In summary, I don’t give out credit where it isn’t due, but this headset, whilst expensive, represents great value for money.
A good headset with good quality audio from earphones and mic. Active noise reduction reduces background conversations and other noises to the point where you can still hear them, but they are no longer distracting.
Down sides:
It can be a little uncomfortable after a few hours of constant use; probably nearly all on-ear headsets suffer from this.
The volume control sounds a bit creaky when you press the side of the headset, but it’s only a minor thing.
his is one of my purchases which im completely satisfied:)
Use these for work. I had a couple of cheaper Chinese built headsets that were poor quality and fell to bits after a month or so. Result was I bought these “proper” ones. Very well built, very comfortable, I love the mute / unmute function of the mic arm. They connect to all my phones (phone engineer I have a lot of them) and for the various PCs and Consoles I need to connect to they have this really neat dongle to connect them up in seconds without the fiddling with settings usually required. Sound wise they are a long way from audiophile or even acceptable music wise but that is not their function, for phone calls, in game chat, Teams, Zoom etc they are excellent. Noise cancellation is better than none at all, controls are standard headset stuff but the main accept / finish call is well placed and one click. 5* because I have gone through a good many headsets in the past few years, some very expensive Turtle Beach dolby surround cans with all sorts of gizmos (which were rubbish) some cheapos which were fine for a while then fell to bits – but these Jabras are the best I have ever used and for a change I feel I got what I paid for, quality and reliability.
I use this on my Mac and PC and switch between them using a USB switch. For the most part, it works well on both boxes.
Sometimes levering the mic to mute/unmute doesn’t work with zoom. It’ll stop working for that session and then come back later.
Glasses wearers: I rate the comfort 8 or 9 out of 10. The earpieces rest atop the ears with a soft foam. On days with a lot of meetings, the earpieces can impinge on the ears in an uncomfortable way if I’m wearing glasses. They are adjustable with various degrees of freedom to reduce pressure, which helps, but only to a point. Mostly, I just wear contacts when I’m going to be having meetings.
I love the well-designed stand which makes it super easy to set them down and charge them — I’ve never once thought about battery life.
Bluetooth range degrades rapidly with distance and without line of sight. I can go to the bathroom, around the corner from my office, and I’ll maintain solid ability to hear even though it’s through a wall. But further than that and it rarely works. If you want better connectivity, I expect you’ll want to look for something other than bluetooth. Happily, it at least does a good job of re-connecting when I come back in range.
I balked at spending this much on a headset, but with so many Zoom and Teams meeting after starting to work from home, I needed something that I could wear comfortably for hours that would enable me to hear and be heard while minimizing background noise from my better half officing out of the same room.
This headset does that in spades. Being able to connect to PC and cell phone is really convenient, although I do occasionally get interrupted in the middle of a virtual PC meeting when a call comes in on my phone, so I have to make sure not to autoconnect it to my phone when that’s a concern.
The earpieces are very soft and comfortable for the most part for long periods, but I do get a little achy on my earlobe where I have a stud earring. Can’t really blame that on the headset, though!
Battery life has been phenomenal. It tells me there’s 13 hours of charge at the beginning of the day and I haven’t come close to testing that, but as long as I charge it overnight, I’ve never had it go dead on me during the day.
Folks in other meetings (especially over PC videoconference, less so over phone connection) have commented how clearly my voice comes through.
Also really like the carrying case it came with. I’ve thrown my laptop in my briefcase and hauled these along when I needed to work outside of the home a couple of times.
Note that my experiences are with using the included USB bluetooth adapter, and not the native bluetooth on my windows PC. In my experience, Windows bluetooth performance leaves a lot to be desired, but the jabra usb bluetooth adapter has been flawless.
Would not hesitate to recommend.
I bought these for work and im very pleased with them. The headband construction material is quite different to what ive had. It has a rubbery texture which prevents it slipping but is very comfortable. The best function and one of the reason i went for this headset is the option to hear your surrounding without taking the headset off. It amplifies with a certain clarity the surroundings so you can hear and speak to someone without removing the headset. The sound quality is excellent as to the noise cancellation with a noticeable sound difference just putting them on. They are a bit pricey but i researched it enough before buying and im very pleased.
Expensive but a good investment. Particularly useful to be able to link to computer and phone at the same time.
The Jabra 75 Evolve headphones are possibly the best headphones I have had yet! These are all day comfortable. I work from home and do a LOT of conference calls. These sounds really good, even for listening to music. I like the fact that moving the boom mic is used to mute and unmute onself. Top tip – If you use Microsoft teams a lot, get the MS version of these headphones. Otherwise the UC ones are fine. I really like the fact that they connect to both my laptop and my smartphone simultaneously, so there is no scrabbling to change headsets depending on what would ring! Hightly recommended!
These are definitely all-singing, all-dancing. There’s a button to press to block out noise from your surroundings, there’s a button to press to let in outside noise, so you can have a conversation with someone while wearing the headphones. It has sidetone, which plays your voice into your ears when you’re talking. There are giant lights on the side that come on when you’re on the phone to let other people know not to bother you. As well as connecting to Bluetooth you can use them as a USB audio device (which I sometimes do accidentally by plugging them into my computer to charge without turning them off). You can apparently connect them to multiple Bluetooth devices at once, like your laptop and your phone, but I haven’t figured out how to do this yet.
I have these as my work headphones, and at the start of each 8.5 hour workday it tells me I have 14 hours battery left and at the end of the workday it tells me I have 11 hours battery left, so it must mean that many hours of continuous playback.
Only real negative is the price. I kind of felt like an idiot spending almost 200 on a pair of headphones where a 50 set would have probably got the job done. Don’t know why I felt compelled to buy these, but they don’t disappoint. The audio quality seems very good, though as I use them for work I don’t exactly listen to music on them for hours or anything like that.
I will say to configure them you probably need a bit of technical knowhow. They don’t come with instructions for how to change their settings. I ended up googling the configuration software, called Jabra Direct, and struggled a bit to find a download for it, though got it eventually. Then there were things like it wouldn’t update the firmware on the headphones through a USB hub port, so I had to plug it into a motherboard USB socket to do it. Simple problems but might cause someone not technical to stumble.
But, yes, all in all very pleased with these.
A little uncomfortable after and hour, ears/head get very hot!
Very clear sound and battery hold charge for almost full day usage.
Comfortable and sound cancellation is really good.
Connectivity is ok, I need to reconnect/pair it too often to my liking but its fairly easy task.
For its price I would prefer a slightly less hassle with multiple devices setup.
Over all good product.
good sound quality for calls and music, the mute feature by rotating the mic boom up is very useful
so I don’t have to reach for the mute button Teams.
Honestly this headset has changed my life. I work in IT and in an environment that loves Webex calls quite often for 4 hours on a trot with no breaks in between. The ability to be wireless means I can go make myself a coffee or even take a quick bathroom break (make sure you are muted ) when I am not actively presenting or required to speak.
The noise cancellation helps when there is noise like the garden service etc. The ability to use both the dongle connection to the pc and the Bluetooth to my phone at the same time is fantastic. Also the little light on the dongle itself is great for a quick check on the mute status.
This product even though it is a little expensive is worth every cent.
The battery life is great too.
Only item missing would be usb c charging/fast charging but with 14 hour battery life honestly not a buggy.
Ps using these for music sound great too.
I would totally recommend these for working from home on Microsoft Teams calls. I made a mistake of purchasing another brand for say 40 pounds people were not happy with the quality of my microphone on calls.
The microphone on these jabra is simply excellent I was recommended these by a colleague who had did his research and he wasn’t wrong. I use the usb A dongle and it works perfectly plus I also have them connected to iPhone for calls which works perfectly. The battery when fully powered up is awesome 14 hours! Sound from the earphones is brilliant. One very very minor issue I don’t think I can press a button to answer a call when it comes in on teams I press accept on screen. If that’s the only issue happy days. The case is excellent quality for carry and protection with neat storage for dongle. I haven’t tested with Bluetooth on the pc as dongle is perfect and so compact. I work in a spare room so haven’t needed to test noise cancellation.
Wow!
I love the option to connect to 2 devices at the same time (computer and phone). I do lots of calls a day, as well as videoconference (demos) so to me, having one headset for both is a great feature (and they sound GREAT, on both sides of the call)
Great connectivity and ease of use. Noise cancellation appears ok but nothing really to compare it to.
The sound quality of this headset is limited by Bluetooth’s bandwith. They sound great when used as headphones, but in Bluetooth headset mode the received sound quality is not great, and the microphone sound quality is really quite poor. This is not specific to this headset, it seems to be the case with any Bluetooth headsets, and a wired headset will give a better sound (but an annoying wire).
In all other respects they are great: comfort, functionality, battery life etc,.
My work place use the Jabra 65’s so I knew I was buying a good headset but just the design and the elegance of the 75’s is unmatched. The headset is brilliant; comfortable and light. The sound quality for listening to music is competitive with some of the best headphones around. I personally have the Sony x1000 mk 3’s. The noise cancellation though however could have been a bit better but but then again , I normally use my mk3’s and the noise cancellation on my Sony is the best on the entire planet !
I have been taking call and speaking to customers and I am extremely happy in terms of the clarity and the option I have with using the head alone.
The headset optically looks fantastic and the busy light looks amazing on it. Personally love the red light and goes well with my theme.
If you are looking for a headset which does EVERYTHING ! For work , skype or zoom meetings, phone calls, Music or whatever you are into then this is the headset for you. This headset does everything and it can pair up to 2 devices which you could use simultaneously.
Comfortable for two+ hours, great sound, light, quick charging, synching very easy, works very well with Mac and PC. Nice case and cables. Quality piece of kit.
Working from home means constant online meetings. Clear sound and noise reduction makes it easier to understand others and general feedback has been that my voice is coming through clearly with no background noise.
Being able to seamlessly switch between laptop and phone connections on Zoom calls means it’s easy to get a coffee when needed without interrupting a meeting / call.
I switched from a set of Bose QC35 to these so that i could connect to my phone and laptop at the same time. As I swap between my phone & laptop quite often these make it more convenient switching devices.
Sound quality is great and the feedback i have had is that my voice comes across really clearly.
The Jabra “only” gives me around 4m range from my device ( compared to 6m+ with my QC35s ).
I like the way you can mute just by lifting the mike. This is a good prompt for me so i don’t make the noob mistake of speaking on mute in conference calls.
The ANC works well, just not as good as my Bose, but in fariness the Bose do completely cover my ears where as the Jabro sit on the ear.
I am on calls for 4-6 hours each day and the Jabra are really comfortable.
Overall – an excellent headset for work
Sound quality is excellent
Quick connection to PC and Phone
Auto mute when mic is moved away – this is convenient, especially as the mic snaps magnetically to the frame and out of the way
Awesome headphones for use while taking and making calls all day long using cisco jabber for a fintech company. I have been working from home and we are using soft phone (cisco jabber) and Citrix. I was using a cheaper wired headset prior to this and am blown away but the improvement in sound quality. It makes effective communication much more possible. NCR is also effective and makes a noticeable difference. Well worth the money.
But. It says “Dual connectivity: Connect your headset to your computer and mobile device at the same time — pair up to 8 devices”. When I have both computer and mobile device connected, it only listens to one of them. If it has decided it wants to listen to the computer, the only way to get it to listen to the mobile device is to disconnect the computer. Very annoying.
Correction: It can accept phone calls happening on my phone while serving media from my computer. It is I want to easily switch between playing media on my computer vs on my phone that I sometimes have to explicitly disable the device I’m not listening to. Would be much better if the headphones had a button press to switch.
I did my homework on different headsets and bought the Jabra Evolve 75 still unsure of value for cost I LOVE these! They changed the way I work, speak and listen. The sound clarity is there, I am well heard and switching between music and telephone is easy. Like the two devices at once capability as well.
Everything about these headphones is great. I was using on Windows 10 Pro machine, but swapped to a MacBook Pro, still using dongle so had to get a USB-C adapter. Works a treat with both machines. I am wearing for around 7hrs a day and if not in Slack, Skype or soft phone then music is streaming away. The headset is light, fits my somewhat big head no problem and controls are simple – especially mute which just requires pushing the mic up.
I had an issue when I switched to the Macbook and I cannot point finger at anything specific – it may have happened if I had still been using Windows. The headphones bricked – 100% dead. I contacted Jabra support, start of lockdown this was, and underwent a series of checks with them. During this I was asked to attempt some procedures using the Windows software – not sure why that was, but obliged. Nothing, no life at all. A returns label was sent to me and replacement headset arrived days later. Great customer service considering the circumstances. The new headset has been faultless.
Even with the hiccup at the start I am so pleased I bought these and would unreservedly recommend.
Works well connected to both laptop and phone. I’m not noticing the Bluetooth conflict issues (usually with my Logitech keyboard) that I’ve had with other wireless headphones, so I think the separate dongle is an advantage.
Vale a pena investir. Muita tecnologia envolvida e simples de usar.
The Jabra 75 is really the best phone headset I’ve used. To be fair you can use it for anything, listening to music, video conference calls, watching a movie … whatever you like these will do an excellent job. I found the sound quality to be excellent. The ability to connect to 2 devices at once is really useful at my work and at home (especially now that we work at home with Covid19). The noise cancelling could have better, but certainly wasn’t bad.
Overall, highly recommend this headset although the price is a bit steep, you get what you pay for.
Had to work from home and our work headsets are designed for desk phones so needed one that works with a softphone and also Lync. These arrived in good time and came with a carry case, dongle and charging cable (which can double up as a wired connection if required). Also went for the charging stand too. Instructions are 2 small pages, but thats all you need. Like the way you can listen to music on your phone (once paired) then if a call comes in it cuts music out and allows you to enter the call.
Great sound quality for calls and music. I have a big head so wearing it with glasses on can be uncomfortable longer term but for most people this won’t be an issue.
Love the way you can mute the call by putting boom mic up, also can control spotify using the buttons. Easy to get to grips with and whilst not cheap will pay for itself over time.
By far the most expensive pair of headphones I’ve ever bought but I thought the amount of time i’m spending hanging around on Skype calls well they’d get a lot of use…
My first call – a revelation! So floaty soft! You can connect 2 devices at a time, so can listen to music & coonnect to computer for calls. The sound quality of music is excellent. The mic up/down to mute/unmute is easy to use & it tells you to confirm anyway. The Bluetooth range is pretty good, it goes through a structural wall fine, was struggling with the external wall tho! Battery life seems good so far, & useful to be able to use a standard charger. Glad I bought them!
I have used several wired and wireless headsets before this one, e.g. Plantronics Blackwire, Plantronics Savvii but this one is the best of the all. Given the stero speakers, noise cancellation and add-on Bluetooth connectivity, these turn out to be excellent.
Sound quality is great.
Noise cancellation is great
Outgoing sound is great too.
Range is not as good as advertised. Definitely not 100 meters.
Dual connectivity is very useful and easy to switch between the two calls.
Comfotable to wear, can be used most day. Some may find it heavy but may need time to getting used to it.
Battery life is decent; but drops off the cliff once the alerts start. Charging while talking doesn’t help and battery depletes faster than it charges.
Overall very happy with the purchase, but could have been a bit cheaper.
The Jabra Evolve 75 with the charging stand is by far the most comfortable and straightforward head set I have ever used. Looks very stylish too (if headsets can ever look stylish!) Sits well alongside my OC and is very minimalist in design. Long battery life 2 full days of c16 hour title use without need for additional charge) and excellent sound clarity. I love the way the mic just goes up out of the way very smoothly to mute. For the chap who wrote that there was no USB dongle – it is stored in the headset case and is the grey plastic bit you pull out from the headphone storage side where it is stuck in.
Excellent quality build and so lightweight. Wore these for over four hours of back to back video and teleconference meetings and it was great that I could wander around and do other things whilst listening in but muting myself (I even made and ate lunch during the meeting as it went on for so long yet nobody knew!). I also have my iPhone Bluetooth connected to it. Seriously well worth the money for the comfort, sound and quality. Think about ‘s per hour of use and it works out good value.
I’m a software developer and I work remotely from a home office. I spend several hours a day in calls and video meetings. This is an amazing headset. I’ve owned it and used it daily for over 18 months and it’s still going strong.
The PROS:
– Great noise cancellation on both the audio input and output. When my kids get home from school and practice the piano, my coworkers don’t hear the piano.
– Wireless. I can get up from my desk to stand at the whiteboard or get a drink of water w/o getting tangled in cords. The range is good enough for me to leave my desk and walk to the kitchen sink. It gets a little roboty when I’m that far away (~20feet and 2 walls), but I can still hear and be heard.
– Hardware mute. I love that I can flip the boom up to mute the microphone. Such a game changer when you don’t have to fumble windows looking for the mute button.
– Battery and charging: The battery will last all day (and sometimes into the night). It doesn’t last 2 days for me anymore, but it still lasts 12-14 hours. I never have battery issues unless I forget to put it in the cradle when I’m done with work. I listen to music often. When the battery runs out, I plop it in the charger and it’ll charge up fast. I.e. if I forgot to leave it on the cradle overnight, I can do my morning meetings and then plop it in the charger over lunch and it’s fully charged. The battery is built in and it charges via micro-USB. You don’t need to worry about keeping AAA batteries and a charger around. Just put the cradle on your desk and plug it into your computer and you’re good to go. Before purchasing, the battery life was what worried me the most. I was worried that I’d spend a few hundred bucks on a headset and in 2 years, the battery wouldn’t hold a charge. I haven’t found that to be the case. 18 months in, the battery still gets me through the day easily.
– Fit and finish. It’s definitely a premium product. Well constructed. Carrying case is great for when I travel.
– I regularly use Linux desktop, Mac and Windows 10. It works flawlessly across each w/o needing to install drivers. It’s using the USB audio profile, so it works out of the box.
The MEHS:
– I wasn’t used to _on_ ear headphones. My prior headphones were wired Bose QuietComfort. Those are super comfortable. The Jabra headphones sit on the ear. It took a while for me to get used to that. At first, I couldn’t wear them the whole day w/o feeling like my ears were in a vice. Now I’m used to it. The other features make it worth it.
– When I’m in a meeting on my computer, and someone calls my phone, it mutes the computer audio. I get around this by trying to remember to turn bluetooth off on my phone.
The CONS:
– The price. It’s expensive. But TBH for me it is totally worth it.
If it fits in your budget (or your company is paying for it) I think it’s a great headset.
It was top rated in a comparative review by Wirecutter so I decided it would be worth the investment given the likelihood of working from home for the next month or two. It is better than I expected but also has a few little drawbacks I want to highlight.
Positives
+ The noise cancellation works well – better than I expected for an on-ear vs. over the ear.
+ Very lightweight – much easier to wear all day than big over the ear headphones
+ Love the red light while on a call or video conference. Gives a nice visual cue to other people in the house that I’m on a call and not just listening to music.
+ Does a nice job with being connected simultaneously to phone and computer.
+ Love how lifting or lowering the boom microphone serves as a mute/unmute button in Zoom.
Didn’t expect this kind of integration with third party software like Zoom. I use this feature many times a day.
Negatives
– The lightness is a bit of a double-edged sword. It feels brittle and fragile. It may be more robust than it feels but it seems like I could break it at any moment.
– It may be user error but occasionally it seems hard to get it to switch over to the other device.
– The stand (with integrated charger) just doesn’t seem up to what I expect for a ~$300 device. I keep looking at ordering a $15 stand and thinking it would be much more convenient.
– It charges using micro-USB. Would prefer USB-C or better yet, wireless charging built into a simple stand.
– Pricing has been all over the place. Went up by $100 the day after I placed my order. Fine by me not so much for the people I have been recommending it to.
It is pricey and I have quite a few negatives noted but I still think it is worth it. During the coronavirus social distancing, I’m spending 4 or 5 hours a day doing Zoom meetings and several more hours listening to music while going through email. I’m glad every day I got it. I expect Jabra could make a new version to address these shortcoming to make it even better. For 2020 work from home, it is VERY helpful and a useful tool that will help avoid family strife making the price well worth it.
This is the best headset I’ve used
Pros
Wireless is brilliant
Noise cancellation on the mic is great – people on Skype cannot hear anything apart from me – screaming kids, people in the room etc – very happy with this
Charging base is good
Dedicated bluetooth thing is good
Very comfortable
Battery life is great
Travel case is great too – actually the perfect travel headset
Mic up to mute – use it all the time
Magnetic mic clip on headband is helpful
Cons
Bluetooth swapping between phone and computer is buggy – quite often have to reset to switch
The noise cancellation to your ears is negligible difference
It’s very lightweight, but extremely delicate.
Fantastic sound quality. Lightweight and easy to wear for hours. In excess of 12 hours life on a single charge. Handy auto-mute function.
I bought this item to use in my home office to improve my experience when on conference calls etc. Amazon were offering the product as significant discount compared to Jabra direct so I took the plunge!
So far, the item has been solid and reliable both when using the included dongle and when using just native Bluetooth to my iPhone. I cannot hear anything outside the headphones when in conference calls, so they are working as expected.
I would highly recommend this headset, and likewise the matching charging stand which gives it a home when not in use and keeps the battery charged.
Excellent dual channel Bluetooth headsets. The noise reduction works a treat and as they are wireless, it’s easy to forget they are there. Microphone auto mutes when in the storage position, nice touch.
Build quality is very good with high quality materials used for the construction. Audio quality for web conferencing is excellent, and audio quality when playing music is very good. Battery seems to last for ages. The ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) removes low frequency sound very well, but doesn’t do much for mid and high frequencies, so it removes general office noise pretty well but some voices still come through clearly albeit at a lower volume. The wireless connection is excellent, no crackles or dropouts at all. Controls are easy to use, and the operation of the headset can be customised via the Windows or Mac apps. Overall though, this is a good headset/headphones that I enjoy using for listening to music and for using as a communications headset in the office.
Good connectivity, no active sound cancellation and best to use Bluetooth dongle although my laptop also has Bluetooth because you get more functionality, which is a bit annoying… great headset otherwise
The headphone connects to my MS Surface, iPhone and Android devixe well. I had some difficulty in reconnecting with these devices again a few times. The mute button on the device is odd and need to search for it (perhaps familiarity and use will help). The noice cancellation feature did work in a crowded office.
Had for a couple of weeks, the only issue I have, is I have to adjust the ear cuff to put in the dock to charge.
Was soll ich sagen?
The headphones were purchased mainly for conference calls at work and are quite comfortable to wear for long periods. Noise cancellation is good considering the headphones are on ear rather than fully over the ears. Sound quality for music is very good for the price. Overall very happy.
Das Headset Model: Jabra Q711647 Evolve 75 MS Wireless Stereo Headset ist wirklich gut.
Connectivity

Great for phone calls. Reliable connectivity. Not the most comfortable, but not too bad either.
Best wireless combination to support office activities like on line conference calls
This headset was the result of many hours of research online and in several stores.
I was looking for a headset with the best noise-cancelling mic on the market and this definitely delivers.
I’m on calls a lot and I record a lot of training videos as well. I work in coffee shops a lot. It’s important that the headset blocks out the background sound for me and also that the mic doesn’t pick up all the background sound.
Slight downside – it makes your voice sound a little ‘metalic’ to the person on the other end of the phone, but I’ve never had any complaints.
I bought this to use with my computer for both video conferencing and general audio while in the office. The sound quality is great and I’ve been told the microphone sends a clear audio. The ANC is surprisingly good for an on the ear headset and does reduce the surrounding office hum. The headset is of a high build quality and I can wear them comfortably on my head for several hours. I’ve had no problems with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality headset.
Bought these as was being moaned at when on conference calls as my colleagues could hear me typing with my standard handsfree earphones. These are brilliant. Comfortable to wear on 3 hour long conference calls. Can pair them with both my mobile and my laptop so can take calls on both. The sound clarity is superb and the no longer can my colleagues hear me typing or my dogs barking in the background. The battery life is excellent, I’ve not yet had to charge them during the day even though they’ve been in use for the most part. The handy carry case is perfect for keeping them safe in my laptop bag when away from home. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny.
Bought for work (work from home, live in a city centre apartment). In the summer I have the apartdoor fully open – this mic completely takes away the ambient traffic noise for the person you are speaking with, and greatly reduces it for you, the user of the headphone (which is exactly what I bought it for). Listening to music is average but passable. Sometimes the sound can make you or the person you are speaking with sound a little electronic, but these are small things on an otherwise excellent headset. You can also switch between wired and wireless, and mute the mic in the headset regardless of whether this is turned on on the application you are using on your pc (which can be useful during Skype meetings). I’de say this headset is decent value for money.
Battery life outstanding compared to other devices I have had in the past. Ambient noise reduction works well – very surprising hom much background noise there actually is in an office. Particularly like the “mute/unmute” function linked to moving the boom mike up and down. Good range when using supplied USB dongle and Bluetooth. Recommended headset.
These are great. They just work in all environments. Only little gripe is that the headband adjustment could be a little stiffer.
Microphone boom does not stow away as well as the evolve 65
Sound quality is great both from the headphones and the mic (the others hearing me noticed a great improvement). This unit (UC) works great with Mac OS X (current version) and WebEx.
I bought this as I wanted to use it for my phone and laptop. It’s fantastic. One of the few things where I’m glad I spent more than I wanted, and proven its worth. The hardcase is a bit bulky, but protects the headphones well.
Great kit seamlessly switches between desktop phone and computer. Great for increasing productivity using voice recognition and Skype/Lynx
Works with Skype & just music, good quality sound, surprised how much background noise there is.
I was close to buying a music-biased pair of headphones, however, with a new job I spend a great deal more time on calls. These fit the bill superbly. Lightweight, giving excellent sound and decent battery life, they look good and work extremely well. I wish Amazon had stated they came with a high-quality protective case as I’d ordered a separate one (sent back!). Other reviews here seem accurate – note on this Jabra 75 Evolve model the boom microphone is not detachable, but it parks out of the way fine. The headset is very easy to use – seems really robust too. A great buy.
Very good sound quality, noise cancelling is good, very comfortable to wear for extended periods, battery life pretty good (I have charged it a few times now), microphone is good (no complaints about call quality), connects easily to devices. Comes with a nice (hard) case to protect the headphones.
A fairly expensive product but pleased so far.
Overall very good, reliable headset. The noise cancelling is subtle, dont expect it to be too isolating. Sound quality is good, even for listening to music. Plug and play (i tried it with windows 10)
I bought these as a treat for myself as I was working quite a lot from home at the time and using ear buds for conference calls, but after a few hours they got quite uncomfortable. I was also starting to do more video conferencing and was looking for a headset that could do both. The 75 does both really well, with dual Bluetooth allowing simultaneous pairing with my phone and my laptop using the included dongle. Things that I really like about the headset are as follows:
* audio quality in terms of listening and speaking is excellent. I’ve had compliments a number of times about how clear the quality of my audio is on conference calls
* the boom will auto mute your mic when in the up position. I’ve found that to be incredibly useful and it’s a simple thing to pop down the mic and speak
* the quality of the noise cancelling is really great. I can tell the difference instantly when I turn it on, which helps to reduce local distractions, but often people cannot tell I’m in a noisy location. Recent conference call from a train and no one knew I was travelling
* the carry case is robust and it lets me take them on the road with me and never worry about damaging the headset
* battery life is awesome, with a full day of calls easily handled on a single charge
I opted to buy the charging dock which sits on my desk at home, and the headset just sits there until needed. Tidy but also keeps the charge topped up.
If I had a quibble, I’ve had the cushioning on one of the earphones come off a couple of times, but it was straightforward to restore. I also would like more local noise cancelling to provide better isolation, especially on a busy office. Music played from my phone sounds excellent and if I’m looking for a quick distraction, then there’s nothing better.
I’ve had the headset for a year now and I absolutely love it, and would have no hesitation in recommending it if you’re looking for a good quality stereo headset fore more than just simple audio.
I originally ordered the 65 and returned them as the sound quality was so bad. I initially thought these were going to be the same, but connected them with the dongle rather than through Bluetooth and it was a lot better, I occasionally get descriptions but this is rare. They are very comfortable even having to wear them most of the day. The noise cancelling is excellent and my customers say they can hear me well. I also alive the added bonus that sliding the mike boom up mutes the line
Perfect for personal or call center. Either way top quality.
Just received my Jabra Evolve 75 MS edition with Jabra Link 370. Installed latest drivers (firmware v1.21 and Jabra Direct 2.0) on my Windows 10 machine. Overall build quality is good, the software works okay as well. No issues with installation and Bluetooth pairing. Haven’t tested it with Skype and Microsoft Teams. No problem with the phone calls and switching between computer and mobile phone. Noise cancellation is quite average comparing to Bose Quiet Conform 35. The biggest disappointment was the wireless range when the headset was connected to the computer via Lenovo USB-A Hub and Jabra Link 370 dongle. Instead of declared 30m it worked well up to 3m! At 4-5m I started experiencing wireless signal interruptions. At 7m the headset got disconnected from the dongle. The dongle was configured for maximal possible wireless range (Normal). The headset was able to maintain a stable Bluetooth connectivity up to 15m with my Samsung Galaxy S9 and Dell XPS laptop. I was able to fix the problem by connecting the dongle directly to a dedicated USB-C port on my laptop via USB-C/USB-A adapter from my Galaxy S9. As Lenovo was a passive USB hub with few devices connected, it probably didn’t provide enough power for the dongle.
Love:
– dedicated mute button and the mic swivel to mute
– listen in mode
– sound quality
– comfort for wearing all day
– seamless integration with skype for business
– battery life
Not ideal:
– slightly bulky
But, these things are the perfect headset for office use.
It works as described. Mine was missing the wireless adapter, but the seller was very prompt in sending me one. A great product and great support from the seller.
I spend a lot of time on conference calls so thought to try going for an expensive product rather than a 30 one which tends to last me about six months. This is a great product. One feature not mentioned is the handy rugged carry case. This helps protect the earphones in your laptop bag / rucksack. Set up was really easy and the 14 hour battery life lasts me two or three days. The noise cancellation is great. If I am in a busy office, I sometimes wear them when not on calls just to damp down the background conversation. The sound quality is great and people on the other end of the call can hear you clearly. I also like the audio prompts e.g. when you switch the earphones on, they tell you how many hours of battery they have left. Really good product.
I was looking for a set of versatile head phones. I do a lot of travelling by trains, planes, etc. I also spend a lot of time on conference calls, sometimes from home but often from coffee shops while in transit. Some of these calls are by mobile, and others use a web conferencing facility with my laptop. When in the office I want the ability to use the head phones to listen to music from a personal device (and noise cancellation) when I need to focus on a document. At home, I wanted to use the head phones for playing games on my now quite elderly gaming PC that does not have Bluetooth.
These head phones fit the bill well. They support up to three devices connecting, one of which can be via a dongle. Noise cancellation is good, sound quality is good, and they have a number of useful features. My only gripe is that they don’t always work well with the Bluetooth of my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (as noted by others). By contrast, they work perfectly with my Android tablet and via the dongle with my old PC.
The Jabra Evolve 75 Stereo headset has revolutionized my life in my home office and even for personal calls, making it much easier and more pleasant to make phone calls and attend remote meetings. It’s far better than the other wired and wireless options I’ve tried.
The sound is so clear and immersive that it’s almost as good as being in the same room with the other person. I feel more connected to the people I’m speaking with, which improves the conversation dynamics.
An unexpected benefit of the headset is the sidetone audio which plays back your own voice in the headset, and which is absent or weak in many other headsets. I adjusted the side tone to a high setting. When I can hear my voice in the conversation, I speak more softly and naturally, even in noisy environments.
The headset has allowed me to shift my calling from my cellphone and land line to my computer, because I’ve found Voice over IP gives much clearer audio quality. Before using this headset, all audio was so mediocre that I didn’t notice the difference.
The boom microphone has amazing noise cancellation.
The active noise cancellation on the headphones is listed as 17 decibels, and that sounds about right. It’s a medium level of noise cancellation. It won’t turn a noisy train into a cathedral, but it’s enough to make a significant difference.
Comfort level is high for the first few hours, and then reduces to medium. The earphones rest lightly on top of the ears, so lightly that you barely notice them at first, but after a few hours even the light pressure becomes a bit uncomfortable. I wear glasses and haven’t found any issues specifically related to the glasses.
The headset connects to up to 2 devices at the same time, and switches automatically between them depending which one is sending an audio signal. I was initially confused by the fact that you can’t manually switch between the 2 connected devices. So far it hasn’t been a problem, but I wish I had more control over that.
Once 2 devices are connected, you can’t connect to any other devices, and there’s no way to manage connected devices in the headset. That can be confusing and sometimes frustrating — it’s my only complaint about the Evolve 75. The only way to connect to another device at that point is to first disconnect from one of the other 2 devices. Since I use the headset with 3 or 4 devices, it’s sometimes a pain, but now that I know the issue I can manage it in advance.
The connection quality is excellent and stable to my Samsung Galaxy S8 and my MacBook Pro (using the Link 370 USB bluetooth transmitter). With the Link 370 USB adapter the sound quality is flawless. If I instead connect to the MacBook’s native bluetooth, the sound is glitchy, so I have to remember to use the Link 370.
It connects easily to other devices, but using it as a regular headphone on my Apple TV 4k, I get occasional audio drop-outs.
Was nearly put off by the price… but i have specific hearing needs and need good quality headset… and at last have found what i have been searching for.
Pros:
Extremely well made
Easy to pair to standard bluetooth device … have paired to phone, laptop and a MP3
If needed (for say an old desk top PC), comes with a bluetooth dongle (small in size – like a wireless mouse nano tx/rx’er)
Comes with a well made (orange) USB cable.
Can be used as a USB connected headset to laptop/desktop or desk-phone that supports USB headset…obviously charges will USB connected.
Considering this head set is on the ear (as opposed to over the ear) – the Noise Cancellation is excellent (activated/deactivated via button).
Pairs easily to dual devices – have used with MP3 player and Phone paired simultaneously without any issues. Phone cuts it when call active and drops back to MP3 when call dropped.
Mute function via button and also if boom-mic is placed upwards.
Easy to use buttons – volume +/-, mute, answer/end call, Noise Cancellation, listen-in (cuts out device audio so can hear surrounding sounds).
When boom-mic is fully up, the tip can magnetically clip to the head strap – stops the boom-mic looking like an aerial 🙂
Battery life is excellent (have managed 15hrs so far – combined standby/music/calls) – gives an approximate battery length left when powered on (via voice through headphones)
Cons:
Expensive
When working with a MP3 player, no button for pause or next/previous
Could do with a bit more volume (but that is only if you are hard of hearing) – no issues if hearing is ‘normal’
Would recommend
So glad I went with the Evolve 75 instead of the 65. Have used the 65 model before mainly for work and the 75 model is waaaaay better! Worth the extra …
Very good product. The sound is crystal clear and with dolby atom 7.1 surround sound enabled on the computer, this product becomes must have watching HD movies. I loved it.
Excellent headphones that are clear and comfortable. They eliminate excessive noise even in loud environments. The mic is effective and clear, and earpiece is also clear. The wire has a detachable mid section, allowing you more freedom to walk away from a call and return. The charging unit is relatively small and the headphones slot in place easily. The wire is of a good length, allowing you to work on numerous things at once.
These are actually a really nice pair of wireless headphones.
I’m using them mainly to listen to music at home and they are really nice at reproducing sound and blocking enough extraneous noise, but not so much you can’t hear a thing.
VOIP calling is pretty good though, to be honest, I tend not to use phones for calls.
Very happy though
Jabra is not a name I had heard of before but I have to say that they do seem to offer a very good quality product in these noise cancelling bluetooth headphones. Pairing them with my computer was very simple.
I don’t listen to a huge amount of music, or other things, on this type of headphone these days to be honest but when I do I want comfort and great sound quality and these headphones give me both.
The charging stand is a quirky design and the headphone padding is made of a leather feel material, both of which which I like.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The headset ships in a large box and contains a number of accessories. There is a case to transport the headset in, which also has storage for the bluetooth dingle and an internal sleeve for the charging cable. Also included is a simple set of instructions and warranty information.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The headset is well designed and feels like a high quality product. The mic can be rotated so when it is to in use, it points up and is lined up with the headset, and not an obstruction. There are controls on the headset so you can easily adjust the volume and connect/disconnect from calls. The headset is fully adjustable and the size can be adjusted to fit any head size. Overall construction and build quality are very good, and something I would expect from a premium headset.
PAIRING
The Jabra headset can be paired with any compatible bluetooth device. Paring was quick and easy. There is a switch in the headset used to power on. You simply slide this over and hold it in ‘paring mode’ to achieve an initial convection. Once paired, the device will be recognized the next time you power the headset on.
CHARGING
You can charge the headset using the included stand, and the headset does sit very elegantly upon this. If you use the headset often, this is very quick and convenient, as it will mean that your headset will always have a full charge if you stop it on the stand. There is also a micro-USB cable included if you choose to charge without the stand, or if you are transporting the headset.
COMFORT
I found this headset to be very comfortable. The ear pads sit comfortable on my ears, and are not too tight. I have found most over-ear headphones to be uncomfortable after around 30-45 minutes of use as they press on my ears. The Jabra headphones seems to be the same, but the overall pressure they place on my ears seems to be less. This may be because the overall footprint of the earpieces is smaller. The material of the ear pieces is not leather. I am not too sure how long it will last before (and if) it deteriorates. The headset is also fairly light (at 300 grams) and did not feel heavy.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality from video calls is excellent. I have used the Jabra with both Facebook messenger and FaceTime. Audio was loud, clear and crisp with both. In fact, the other party talking with me commend on how clear the audio was, too. Although the headset is primarily designed for functionality as a handsfree communications device, you can still listen to music, etc. The sound quality is very good, considering that this is not it’s primary function. Bass and treble were balances, and there is no distortion, even at the highest volume. You can even move the mic away from near our mouth, allowing it to rest flush with the headband (via a magnet) which means that the headset will look more like a traditional pair of headphones and be out of your way.
CONCLUSIONS
This is definitely a premium headset, and is reflected in the high price-tag. If you make a lot of audio/video calls, not many other headsets on the market could match the quality here. The charging dock and great quality sound are key selling points, and this headset will be ideal if you appreciate high-end gadgets that are convenient and easy to use.
Really impressed with this headset, far more comfortable and secure to wear than the wired Jabra headset I was using. The battery life is incredible, the sound quality is great and the noise cancelling is superb – I connect them to a variety of devices (2 at a time) and use them to watch Netflix and listen to podcasts on my commute (via train and London Underground), make calls via VOIP at work and listen to music when I need to zone out from the office hustle and bustle around me. If I could wish for an added feature it would be music control buttons, but their primary function is an office headset and the added use I get from them is all a bonus, so they well deserve 5*.
## 5 years on…
I’m still using this headset most days for work, but commuting much less frequently. They’re great for isolating me from the noise of others in the house, and equally so for blocking out the noise of the office when I’m on video calls there.
I still score them 5/5 and highly recommend them.
Sound quality is superb! Installed USB mini-dongle on PC and paired without problem – worked really well. Paired with my Galaxy S8+ and played stored MP3s very satisfactorily. Then paired with iPad Pro and used it with iTunes library – absolutely great for music. Noticed that the Active Noise Cancellation works well – doesn’t cancel out all noise but enough that there is no distraction. Love the switch on announcement giving battery time left. Not tried with calls yet but a guy at work has Evolve 75 too and uses them for calls all the time and praises the call quality. He also used them on long-haul flight and told me he got a good 7 hour sleep with the help of ANC. Hopefully I can replicate that on my upcoming trip to Dubai.
+ Comfortable to wear.
+ Very good audio quality.
+ Good noise cancellation, does not eliminate (especially voice) but does substantially mute office environment.
+ Good ease of use with controls. You flip up or down the mic to control mute and this is very effective.
It is a premium price however well worth it when spending time on the phone in an open plan office. I also have at home a Jabra Evolve 65, also a very nice headset (the best I had used before this one) however the extra features on this headset are worth it (even more comfortable, active noise cancellation, mic-flip mute).
It did once appear to have a software crash with the mute function causing a constant loop of telling me ‘muted’; solved by turning off and on and has not happened again.
This is a fantastic piece of gold in a busy, noisy office. The ANC is top-class and the comfort of the noise cancelling is uncomparable V passive. Do not hesitate, investment is worth it… The quality of sound for listening to music is also top…
Wow. These headphones are superb. I’ve been using a pair of Bose Quietcomfort headphones (which are very good) for many years but bought the Jabra 75s because I wanted to make phone calls at work via two Bluetooth devices (mobile and laptop). The ANC noise cancelling is astonishing; I am wearing them now and can only hear the sound of my clicky cherry-switch keyboard (just) and my heartbeat. The din and hum of the office is completely gone, allowing me to focus. They are very comfortable to wear all day. A cool feature that may not be immediately obvious from the spec (and I didn’t expect it) is that you can mute the mic by flipping up the microphone boom – so simple. Music is rich and vibrant. Pricey, but worth it. I don’t normally write reviews so it must be good!
