Bought to replace a 300dpi Zebra printer which was auctioned off, as those used labels which were 10p a go and had to be manufacturer’s own. This allows use of cheap generic labels. The lower resolution has not been a problem at all for the postage labels we use it for the majority of the time – none have failed to scan and all look as good as they need to – that is, professional. Further than that, the app that it uses is quicker, more reliable and less annoying than the Zebra app.
If postage labels is what you’re buying this for I’d recommend this printer happily.
Fast delivery, item exactly as pictured. Someone got it all ready for me to use and said it was easy to set up. Very easy to enable for my Etsy shop, labels straight to printer. For Amazon Handmade you have to install something from their site first. If you wish to print labels straight to printer, it annoyingly uses 2 labels as it keeps printing the packing slip, however if you choose to save to PDF instead you can then print just the shipping label. This is the only drawback to using this and is probably a site issue rather than anything to do with the ptinter. It comes with some free fan fold labels, and is also compatible with labels on a roll which seem to be cheaper. For ease of use it is best to buy a label roll holder, these are also available here from around 8+. Pleased with purchase all in all and would recommend this printer as good value compared with other brands.
Firstly it’s not wireless so need to keep putting the usb cable into my Mac. Secondly I tried a returns label for Amazon, very faded so didn’t want to chance it incase the bar code was not useable! Will continue to try. Setting out labels in the Jadens app is pretty slow so I will continue to use the template I already have, the 4×6 labels are pretty big so I’ve changed my template for two address to print out at the same time and will try the smaller labels once these free ones are used up. Overall it’s suitable for what I need it for but could have been much better if wireless
I like that it stores the printer rolls inside as it keeps everything tidy, setup was really easy although like another reviewer said for some reason print quality is better when using a laptop than on a phone, which is a little baffling. Can’t say about longevity as I’ve only had it a couple of weeks.
I run a small business, gone are the days of standing at the co op for one hour scanning QR codes and printing labels!!! I would 100% recommend this. Printed 76 Evri labels in less than 1 minute. At lightning speed (see video!) I was shocked. I have only used this once so I may have to update my review later after a few uses, but after this initial use I was so amazed I had to come on and leave a review. Amazing, thank you so much Jadens!!
Set up: set up was a bit tricky – Wasn’t clear that even on a Macbook you need to connect the USB. Confusing as it does say bluetooth and that’s what I thought I was setting up, but my instructions seem to be for a non-bluetooth printer? And i have had to connect the USB to get it to work. but to be honest who cares – printer is brilliant.
Download shipping printer app for printing from any phone. Makes mailing easy!
Its a cute little pink color and works great for my shipping needs
Was buying cup stickers from
Vista print and they cost 5x the price of making them myself!
Thought paper would be bad w condensation – but no issue! Super pleased w value for
Money and product outcome
Love it! It’s a fast and great little thermal printer. Has been a breeze using it. Great quality labels for my Freeze Dried candy business. So easy to install and use.
I love it the price is affordable and it works just as a all the other expensive label makers
Absolutely perfect for my small business. So easy to use!
Jay, customer support was very helpful in assisting me to set up the label. He’s friendly and professional.
Absolutely love this label maker. Makes it so easy to print and ship prepaid labels and they are of great quality without having to buy ink all the time. Love selling things so I can print my label out now. Best present to myself.
I use this to do Shipping for my jewelry business. I love it. It is the best shipping label maker.
This printer works like it should, and is super Cute, and takes up hardly any room!! I love it!! It’s already paid for itself!! It also comes with a bunch of labels, if you don’t want to invest in a roll right away! Download through app for maximum results!!
I bought the little Jadens pink printer, a little disappointed on the easiest of setting it up, I did have to call support and walk me thru it but support was marvelous! Walked me all thru it, got it set up and they were very patient with me, so far the printer is great, hopefully it stays that way!!!
I absolutely love my printer! They also have great customer service! I had issues a few times printing, they went right in via team us and fixed it up! They even set some presets for me! Hands down the best service!
I have several small online businesses that have to have products shipped to customers. This label printer was so easy to set up. It took less than 5 minutes and I was up and running. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a label printer.
If I could give 10 stars I would!! I can now finally print from my cell phone instead of dragging my laptop out as well! The print quality is great, the labels fit perfectly and don’t move around like other models, it’s pink (super cute!!), easy to connect and set up, AND it’s therm! all in all I truly do love this printer, 100% worth the cost! And I got it on sale which was another huge plus! I’ll update if I end up having any issues, but for now I’m beyond happy!
This product is very easy to use and small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of room.
Very happy with the purchase. It was really easy to set up right out of the box. The app is very user friendly as well. I love the fact that it has Bluetooth. Everything that you need to start is included in the box, even a set of labels to get you started. The print quality is great and the speed of print can be adjusted as well. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anybody who is looking for a thermal label printer.
Super cute and portable. Probably easy to use but I got my printer to work so I don’t need it now
I purchased this printer after I opened my own independent business through Mary Kay and I love it! It makes it so much easier to print and send out packages from home, the print quality is great as well. Definitely worth the money and I haven’t had any problems with the product or it’s printing quality! I would 10/10 recommend it!
I wanted a wireless shipping label to print from my iPhone. I did not want to download a driver to my computer so I skipped the computer instructions and reviewed the written & video instructions for printing from IOS. I downloaded the ‘shipping printer’ app as instructed. In their instructions, a ‘label printer’ device was selected but in reality my label printer started with ‘BY-245BT…’ which I discovered by just selecting different devices to connect with in the app. When I selected this one, it did not require the PIN that is shown on the front label of the printer and just connected. I was then able to select a label file on my phone and it immediately printed! As of now, I have to save files from my shopify app and then go into the shipping printer app which is an extra step, so I’m going to see if I can connect the printer directly in the app.
Overall, it took about 15 minutes from unboxing to printing so I’m happy with it, and I love being able to wirelessly print from my iPhone.
I only wish that it printed darker. Other than that I love it.
I love this things, I use it for 3 of my shipping label services and it works out amazing, if you are looking for a machine to do amazon return labels, look elsewhere, I tried their pdf upload thru the mobile device, and it is a real pain, and takes so many steps, its honestly just faster to just print to printer and cut and tape them. I like how it prints first class mail, it is still to blurry for stamp metor mail, but I am working on those settings. the Footprint on this is very nice and fits in a small area, con is everytime there is a power outage or you turn it off, it pushes two labels out no matter what 🙁 I live in Michigan where we get high winds and bad storms and lose power about once a month at least, and I know we lost power by just looking at the label maker cause it will have two plain labels out :(. We had a really bad storm come thru and the power flickered like 3 times in 2 mins, so yeah that was fun 🙁 I just went thru and turned all the machines I have off, my house sounded way to robotic.lol
It took a minute to figure out how to set it up. But works great. Wish it was battery operated too so It could be portable. But love the pink! Fits my office needs
Game changer for my small biz. Super fast and compac
I had never bought a thermal printer before and finally getting a lot of orders from Etsy I knew I needed one, because I was using so much pricey ink!
It is pretty and pink! Goes well with most of the other things I have in my room.
The printer hasn’t gave me any issues.
I had to add the printer manually in the computer, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be lol took me around 6minutes.
I usually print from my phone and I love it! It’s so simple and easy through Bluetooth.
I’m happy I made the right purchase and didn’t go with something more expensive for the same features.
FYI the free labels with it will work, but I just ran out and ordered new ones. I definitely recommend getting other labels, the free ones would have empty spots sometimes.
I purchased this printer in July after doing a lot of research and looking around. I wanted one that would be Bluetooth compatible and contain the labels on the inside of the printer so I didn’t have to have two devices and a bunch of wires on my very small desk. I hesitated to buy this because I heard that Dymo printers were the best and this one was an unknown brand (I figured I might as well spend a bit more money on a printer that was good, rather than only a little bit less on one that didn’t work well). Thankfully after looking at the price and some of the reviews of the Dymo, I decided to purchase this one and made sure I had time to return it if need be. This has to be one of the best purchases I have made for awhile, I waited a few months before leaving this review to make sure everything was good and so far my printer works great. Setting it up seemed daunting at first but if you follow the instructions it’s actually super simple, clear and straightforward. Every question I had was answered somewhere in the instruction manual. The Bluetooth works better than most, I can print from my laptop from the other side of my house when other Bluetooth devices I have do not reach near as far. I can’t say anything from personal experience about the Dymo because I’ve never had one but if you’re looking for an affordable label printer, I would absolutely recommend this one. 🙂
Very easy to setup, easy to use great quality. Made my life easier.
Highly recommended
Before purchase I read several reviews. My expectations were low based on several customers complaining of having trouble getting all the features working. I’m not very good with IT and was prepared for a battle once the printer arrived. To my surprise it was super easy to set up and prints very good quality shipping labels. I bought this printer for using at the house and I have a Zebra label printer at the shop. This one works just as good as the Zebra and costs much less.
This little printer is worth it’s weight!
I sell on Ebay and use my phone exclusively. It compact and hooks up with BT very quick which allows super fast processing bc I can print immediately straight from the phone.
You will not regret this if you use your phone for online sales and need a fast and highly portable label printing setup.
Very quick and easy to use with mobile phone app and other devices
Love this. Returns labels are now a breeze. The app works seamlessly, printing is fast and high quality. A bit on expensive side (considering how cheap full size printers are), but can’t argue with the results.
just got my etsy shop open and was looking for a solution to make my shipping process a little less time consuming. works great. can also use with my iphone if needed although i found it easier to use with my computer. installed the latest off the drive off the website. link was included on usb drive that came with the product. excited to just be able to make my own labels now and take advantage of the discounted shipping rates offered online.
As a 3D printer I often have to ship items to buyers. Having to deal with postage was my least favourite thing but this printer offers me so much more flexibility.
The 4×6 labels are perfect, just the right size for compatibility with usual services like royal mail, parcel force, amazon etc.
Connection is simple, either via cable to a computer or bluetooth from a phone.
I recently had to arrange a return to amazon and the supplied label was printed with this printer. Just load the label into the app, select the right size and orientation and print! The print takes no time at all (depending on the speed you choose can be less than a second!).
The only issue I found was that it was hard to find the right balance to make sure details are legible without being overly splodgy.
Too light, and you lose information, too dark and details merge into blobs. This can be a little tricky to get right and is why I have dropped a star. Otherwise the package is very comprehensive and comes with absolutely everything you need.
It’s simple to set up and operate the printer. Create a document that is 6 x 4, export it as a PDF, and then print it. Simply clicking the print button in the printer dialogue box will print the label and do everything else you need it to.
Connectivity to Bluetooth is strong and stable — you can use the app suggested, but I used my usual shipping label app and it paired perfectly.
The labels that come with the printer have a good label and print quality, and they are sufficiently sticky to stay on my parcels without slipping off.
It doesn’t take up much desk space and is a little, neat device. It has a lovely appearance when placed on a desk and comes with a wire for connecting to your computer and a power supply.
Overall, a great label thermal printer. 100% recommended.
Works great. Was a tad of a pain to install and get to work with my iPad too. Once we got everything set up have not had any problems and it has been months and months. We print from 30 to 100 labels a day.
Highly recommend.
Outstanding quality! Super easy to setup in minutes!
I no longer have to print, cut out labels (for eBay shipping), and then use tape to attach.
This printer will save me a decent amount of money over constantly buying HP ink.
Highly recommend!
I Have no dislikes at all .I Love this Machine. Now my Business. Look so much more Professional. I use it for sending off Packages for my Business. Grateful!!!
Without a doubt the best Thermo printer for a great price. Easy to install and customize. Highly Recommended this product.
Only thing I don’t like is you have to crop every shipping label before printing. Other than that prints quickly and easy installatio
Easy set up, the labels included help you get started without having to spend anymore money! Has worked flawlessly so far.
Prints fast. labels for it can be had for cheap. Quality of the print is so-so. You really have to dive into the configuration settings to get a legible print from it. Maybe not the best product in its category but definitely the most bang for your buck.
Do not install the manufacturers printer app as it didn’t connect for me, instantly worked when I installed the ‘shipping printer’ app & its been great since! Very easy to set up & the print quality is brilliant. No problems at all. I’d recommend this product.
I haven’t tried the wireless print feature yet. It print just fine. I do wish it had a button that retracts the paper back into position. It serves its purpose for me tho to print a shipping label.
I just installed this. I went straight to the support.jadens.com website to download the driver. I didnt mess with the instruction manual or “u drive” (whatever that is). Just did what the sticker on the printer said to do and it installed fast and easy. Easier than the rollo printer I just threw away for being a piece of junk.
I downloaded the Detonger DP23 driver and installed it on Windows. Works great. You have to set the paper size in the driver properties. Takes a little figuring out, but it’s under the preferences tab, and the rows labeled in Chinese but with “mm” suffix. I uploaded a translated image to help with that.
The android apps for printing labels are too frustrating. It’s much easier to label everything with the PC. So I am happy with this.
It works, it’s simple and all of the reviews seem to be correct, it’s a good solid unit with a nice app.
It was troubling at first, I couldn’t get the drivers to install on one computer, but they installed on another. The installer would freeze at “Installing” and never complete. This seems to be an issue with some versions of windows 10/11 like enterprise, edu, etc.
After a bit of work I found that there are drivers made for the “Beeprt BY245BT” available from SeagullScientific that work perfectly fine. (see my screenshot)
I spent a few hours looking into the driver issue, but hopefully you won’t have to, just get the driver I mentioned above if you have issues with the driver provided on the USB stick that came with the printer.
After that it’s been working great. It prints quickly and around the same quality as a Dymo or Zebra. Excellent device for the price. I really like how it can use generic rolls of paper and doesn’t require special Dymo labels or any of that proprietary nonsense, and how the roll is contained inside the device so it saves a lot of space.
Very satisfied with the printer.
Super easy to use and set up. Wish I didn’t have to save my label images in my files to print from my phone, but it’s faster then the alternative.
I’ve always wanted to get a thermal label printer partly to make it quicker and easier to print labels for the packages I send out, and partly because you don’t have to continually buy ink. The outlay may be more than for a standard printer but with that ink saving, if you print labels regularly, you’ll soon recoup the money. You’ll obviously have to buy labels but luckily this printer works with any labels in a certain size range.
I use a MacBook and while I followed the instruction leaflet on where to download and how to install the drivers, it really was a simple process. However, because I use a Mac, it means that you can’t use the bluetooth, which is a big downside. You can, however, use the bluetooth and print from your iPhone or iPad using the app – which is free to download. Oh, it’s not a problem to plug in my laptop to the printer but I would obviously prefer to use a wireless option if possible.
It’s also very simple to set up and print on the printer. You just make a document that’s 6 x 4, convert or export it to a PDF, then print. The printer dialogue box does everything you need it to do and it’s very simple to hit the print button and out pops a label.
The label and print quality is good and the labels that come with the printer are sticky enough to attach to my parcels without me worrying that it will come unstuck.
The printer itself is a nice, neat little unit that doesn’t take up much desk space. When on the desk it looks nice and while you’ve got the power unit cable and the cable to attach to your computer or laptop, it’s still all neat and tidy.
All said and done, this is a great printer. As I said before, it’s a bit of an outlay compared to other options, but if you’re a small business or just do a lot of selling or sending, I would happily recommend this printer to you. Looks good, works well and is easy to use. 4 stars.
Now i just opened the printer and started using it, so i can’t speak for the long term life of this thing.
Originally i was going to get their black/blue version cause it had many great reviews. Then i saw this pink one by the same brand. Even tho the pink doesnt have as many reviews as the other variety, I got this one instead as it was nearly the same price. And its cute. Another perk of having a label printer is the possibility of creating a steamlined mini business.
I have a somewhat older phone, samsung note 8. But on some of these competitor printers, i heard there is a problem with connecting to newer phones. It doesn’t seem to have this problem with this brand and so i hope to future proof that.
Ive been wanting a label printer for a year now. Its not that i didn’t see tremendous value in what a printer like this could provide me, i just didnt have/want to spend the $100 or so. It still is a bit steep for my budget but i know it’ll pay for itself many times over. Now i dont need to go to the library to print, cut, and tape my labels anymore. So i will be saving lots of time, and gas (esp with the high prices now). I also don’t need to dread the shipping process as much now that i can do more at home by myself and simply print and stick.
The app is simple and it took a few wasted labels to learn the process cause i didnt read the manual. You can crop pdfs in the app. And i learned you need to rotate the label in app so that its always portrait oriented to maximize the label size and clarity of the print. I haven’t used it with the computer so i can’t speak on that.
I also had a few crumpled labels from misalignment, so that is something to always pay attention to when feeding the label.
Besides that, im excited with how much benefit this printer will provide me.
The built quality and design are undoubtedly good of this JEDENS shipping label printer. It seems sturdy and appears to be of decent quality. It comes with a USB and power cable; the power cable is long enough for my need, and that’s the essential factor for me, and I don’t need an ink cartridge.
The setting up is pretty straightforward; it shouldn’t be an issue if you are a new user. The printing is neat and clear.
Overall, I don’t have anything wrong to say about this product. I have been using this for a month for various tasks without any issue. It is very versatile, the built quality is excellent, and it offers good value for the quality.
I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.
Excellent, it is very very good value for money, easy to set up, nice and compact, prints label within second
Finally have the labels that will be so much more efficient to get things done.
Very easy to use! Quick, convenient. I’ve used mine every single day, multiple times a day since I bought it & it’s never given me any problems. You can even edit the sizing, crop shipping labels, etc. SO MUCH BETTER than my crappy office printer wasting expensive ink
Bluetooth is the way. Just print it straight from your phone
It’s a great product, my only dislike is the amount of paper it waste every time you turn it on or have to re sync to phone for the wifi . 2-3 pieces of the labels get wasted.
This label printer is bulkier than some, but that is because the roll of labels is mounted inside the machine, on a thin plastic spindle. Many will prefer this arrangement to externally-fed labels. Apart from the power supply lead, and optional data cable, it’s self-contained.
I have found it very easy to live with. Once it is set up on the PC or other device, it can be switched on when needed using the rocker switch on the side. Printing is almost instantaneous. The roll of labels is perforated, so once the printer has the roll correctly aligned, labels can be detached as soon as they emerge. The adjustable guides for the paper are a bit stiff to move, but it is only necessary when the label type is changed. Everything else is automatic.
Installation was straightforward on Windows 10. Drivers are provided on a USB stick. I have shown a few screen shots to give an idea of the process, which will vary slightly according to the operating system.
A useful feature is the Bluetooth capability, which means that labels can be printed directly from a phone or other device.
This little printer is a great standalone device for label production, whether occasional or in quantity, and is faster and more convenient than using an A4 sheet printer. All you need is a supply of labels. There is no ink or toner to replace, and no complicated mechanisms to maintain.
The Jadens Thermal printer comes with all the accessories needed to get you up and running, This is the first tech device i have came across that, includes drivers on a USB stick rather than a CD (really good as CD drives are becoming more rare). There is instruction manuals, power adapter with UK plug, usb cable and a roll of thermal post stickers. (Note: Thermal printers does not need ink, it just uses heat to make the labels)
Setting up is easy, pop in the roll of thermal, line it up on the printer exit area, switch it on and keep the blue button press for several seconds and it bleeps a few times. Then the printer it will automatically scan the label and align to the correct position, it does roll out around 3 labels when doing this, i tried avoiding this, but in the end i just gave up, i think the printer is scanning for the label size and cannot be avoided.
After doing that simple set up, you are ready to go. Print outs is really fast, I made a video how fast it is to print from the Jaden printer starting up from cold powering up. I used different devices to print out from including IOS, Android, PC (via the included USB cable) with no problems at all. On the Android and IOS/IPADOS devices there is a dedicated app for you to download which is really handy as you can adjust the size by dragging and dropping and it connects easily with Bluetooth.
Before getting device, the way I created shipping labels was by printing out on my printer (A4 & consuming printer ink) and then cutting it out (wasting paper), afterwards using sellotape to stick the label on to the parcel, so much more work was involved. Now with Jaden’s label printer, its just print (no ink needed), peel and stick on parcel. Job done and happy with the time and effort saved.
Final conclusion: If you have a lot of labels to print out for business etc, this is a fantastic time saving device, it really is, its not just used for shipping labels, it can also print out other types of black and white labels like packaging labels etc. The Jadens Bluetooth Shipping Label Printer will save you a lot of time, and it really does, I am not sure how I managed to live without it in the first place. The same sized replacement thermal labels on Amazon are really good too, 500 for under a tenner. Totally Recommended!
The printer was very easy to setup using my Windows 11 PC as well as the Bluetooth connection using the IOS “Shipping printer” app on my iPhone.
The build quality seems decent, but it does feel a little plasticky.
Once you have selected your label to print, it is almost instant with excellent quality results.
Highly recommended.
So far I have been impressed with this Jadens Bluetooth shipping label printer, software operation was initially less clear cut.
In the box is all the necessary items to get started
Thermal Printer
Main adapter
USB Printer cable
4”x 6” roll of labels
USB C to USB A adapter
USB Memory stick with driver software
Manual
As this printer will work with Windows, Mac OS, Android and IOS I initial I decided to try the Jadens app from the Android play store. I dropped in the roll of labels turned the printer on, and following pressing the button the roll of labels shifted to the correct start position. Although the printer was recognised and connected via Bluetooth I could not get it to operate. What I should have installed was the Shipping Printer app from the Android play store, once this was done it worked fine. The Shipping Printer app is fairly basic but does most of the operations smoothly, the only let down with the app software is when I wanted to manually create your own label, it’s a very clunky process.
Lucky there’s no such problem when using my Windows PC, I manage to create new labels within PowerPoint these were printed surprisingly quick and sharp. I then printed some Parcel Force shipping labels which had a barcodes and QR codes, these looked clear and sharp and were processed with no issues.
Overall, so far I have been really pleased with this Jadens thermal label printer. Not having to use messy inks cartridges, is a real plus. As for software operation, I personally think this printer operates at its best when connect to a PC.
Ala
Thermal label printer
A fab little label printer that needs no ink, nor toner to print. Perfect for those who post often and need labels. You can use this with PC, laptop, Mac, iOS and android. You get a large roll of labels too, so you’re ready to set up and go.
This is a nice design, I like the shape, colour and size, which is roughly 21cm x 17cm x 16cm. It feels weighty, in a good and durable way, sturdy too. There are four little anti slip feet on the base, so it’s not moving around. The power cable is 105cm long altogether, so a good size. The printer to USB cable, is 160cm long.
I initially did this on my Android phone. This was so so easy to set up but the booklet does send you around, you have to go to the website, to search for the latest app, then you will find the name of the app, then go to the playstore to download, this is called ‘shipping printer’.
The app is quick to use, turn on your Bluetooth and it will find it promptly. You can either find a file already saved, or scan a text/label to print. In your print preview, you can change the ratio, rotate etc, then you click on the print button. Before you print, you can adjust the density, the speed of the printing, the amount of copies, coordinates. Adjust the image size, paper width and height, turn on auto scale.
For PC and Mac, you have the drivers you need on a dongle, for Mac you have the USB-C to USB adapter required. You can also download them too. This obviously takes a little longer on the PC, rather than android but not too long. You have the cable needed to connect the two but if you do have Bluetooth on your PC, you can connect with that. The steps are quite easy to follow to set up, you have the same options with the adjustments and cropping. Make sure your printer is set to the right one.
Printing is fairly quick but again, you can use up to 8 speed levels. The image is in black and white, this comes out very clear and easy to read. If you’re centering text on the labels, make sure the text is a decent size, otherwise it can get slightly gappy when printing, this was from a scan though, so that may have caused it.
I do think this is a nifty little label printer. It’s good quality, well made, easy to set up no matter which device you’re using and a bonus that it’s Bluetooth and usable on many devices. I thought the printing quality was pretty good, very clear and easy to read. If you have text alone, as long as it isn’t too small, that’s not bad either and handy too. I would recommend it, it is as good as I thought it would be. Maybe slightly more than I thought it would be but as long as it did last a good amount of time and the labels are easy to get a hold of, then it’s probably worth it.
This is a thermal shipping label printer with support for bluetooth/mobile app. The setup took about 10mins on a mac and I was up and ready to print 4″x6″ royal mail label from eB@y.
Things I liked:
* fast thermal print
* supports both USB and bluetooth connectivity
* 1/3 cheaper than expensive Zebra GK420d printer
Overall, if you are a part time seller on popular selling platform like eB@y, then will be a real time saver when it comes to printing online postage labels. No more printing on laser A4 paper, then cutting as gluing on package. For me, it’s a game changer.
Pair this little machine up with your smart phone app and you have a great combination for designing and printing your own small labels.
Because it’s a thermal printer, there’s no ribbon or toner required, and the text is nice and crisp.
The labels themselves look great – we’ve been using them to produce address labels, for selling on eBay, but there are a number of other commercial, and non-commercial uses to which they can be put.
A useful device at a very nice price.
This is one of the better thermal printers I’ve owned. Very easy to use and setup. Place roll inside adjust the sizing, click it down and sync it to bluetooth, connected to my phone straight away. Very clear instructions provided to set it up on a PC. Very happy with this product, prints a perfect label with all details on it clearly. Big enough to take 350 label rolls inside it. I do prefer these printers as its just one device whereas others require an external piece to hold and feed paper separately. Well made, strong, looks the part on the desk. Highly recommend.
Jadens Bluetooth thermal printer is a great piece of kit at a great price. I was hesitant about this at first, but honestly it was great, it was super easy to set up and use and does a fab job. It sits tidy on my desk and doesn’t take up room like my old printer and also it saves on waste as well, as now I don’t print a whole sheet just for one corner!! A winner all round from me.
If I need to mail a box to my relatives or send out a package I need a label printer that can do neat addressing in a format the shippers. It doesn’t take much to get better than my handwriting! Once I had a box get sent to NY instead of NH because of my printing. This is the label printer I decided on because it is small and compact yet very effective with nice dark clear printing. It connects to my WIN 10 laptop by Bluetooth and has a simple small AC plug in power brick to provide the power to run the printer. One latch pops open the top for loading. The seller includes a few thermal fan fold labels in 4″x6″ size, excellent instructions, a USB cable and a snap together plastic tray to hold either roll style or fan fold thermal labels. There is also a USB A to USB C adapter if a regular USB A Port is not available.
I especially appreciate the addition of a small USB Flash Drive that has drivers on it that makes getting it working fast. There is a video I also watched. I wish more sellers would adopt sending a USB Flash Drive with their products.
This printer is simple but effective for my label printing needs. It is never going to need ink since the print head is thermal. Thermal labels are available anywhere – AMAZON has tons of them in many sizes and styles. This is ideal for my mailing labels. The self stick labels can have other uses too such as on a mason jar. Excellent desktop addition at a very good value.
Jadens Bluetooth Thermal Printer, Shipping Label Printer for Package, Label Maker for Small Business ……
Brand: JADENS
This is an excellent little printer although it is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Comes with single language (English) instruction manual, 1 roll of thermal print labels (6×4), power cable and power supply, USB-A to USB-B printer cable and a 500Mb thumb drive which contains the drivers and manual.
Installing the drivers were simple, just follow the instructions in the manual. You then need to set the printer up and your print preferences, again the manual takes you through this. Load the roll of labels into the printer and it auto detects the edges of the label and sets the size, the only downside here is that it wasted just over 2 labels no matter how close I got it to the front edge of the first. There are drivers for various operating systems, and it will also print from you mobile or tablet via Bluetooth.
The print speed is very fast and quality pretty good. I hunted around the internet for a sample label to print (see photo) and it made a great job of it. It would have been nice for JADENS to supply a sample document of the correct size for test printing, they don’t even have them on their website.
This printer is ideal to use for small businesses or at home just for printing shipping labels etc.
Easy setup, fast quality printing, a little larger than expected.
Wish I’d got one of these years ago. So much less faffing with our home printer not to mention the cost of constantly replacing used ink.
This takes seconds to do and saves me having to use A4 paper (which a lot is wasted) and brown parcel tape which isn’t cheap. Parcels are sorted within minutes.
Straight forward to use and takes up a lot less room than our printer. Would happily recommend.
Super printer for a great price.
Suitable for shipping labes. Its printing 4×6 size.
Good for ebay, amazon, royal mail.
Very happy with it.
So surely can recommend it to all.
My previous label printer had given up after a long time of use so when i saw this printer i had to give it a go and it is really simple to use.
There is a USB cable within the packaging however I used the Bluetooth option on my IPAD to try it out and it worked a treat. The reason I dropped a star is that in my opinion, I found it a little bulky because it prints 4×6 labels. This is fine for printing that size however I found that it takes up a bit too much room for me.
Using it was really simple and the instructions are easy to follow but overall I really liked it and found the functionality and ease of use really helpful
The little instruction book directs you to the Jaden’s website where you can download the driver. Because the supplied labels are 4×6 you need to select that option. I connected it to a Dell XPS13 laptop using Bluetooth, though you can also connect to a phone or tablet. The laptop discovered the printer immediately and it was simple to set it up.
I opened word and a vertical A6 layout, then drew a border so that later I could align the printer accordingly, it makes it a little easier. I decided to create a barcode to identify the recipient and add a randomly generated QR Code, to see if they would be printed sufficiently well enough to be scanned.
It took a couple of tries to get the alignment correct. You can do this by accessing the printer in Windows ‘Printers & Scanners’ under Bluetooth Devices and opening Properties and then Page Setup in Printer Preferences. I found that a 20mm vertical adjustment aligned the label well enough.
The instruction leaflet suggests that you convert to PDF before printing, but I found that it printed to a satisfactory quality. In my test, both the bar code and QR code were able to be read.
The print quality could be a little better, hence 4 stars, but at the price it’s a nice piece of tech.
As silly as it sounds but a professional looking printed label gives a really good impression. Bluetooth means not having to dig out cables especially if your running a business out of your living room (eBay seller etc) prints are fast and quality is ok with the printer auto detecting the labels when loading
This thermal printer is excellent. Easy to install with supplied drivers on a USB stick. It does not come with any custom label maker software. But you can use it with other programs. For example I have a Dymo printer and it will let me select the Jadens printer on the label maker program. If you are doing shipping labels you can just select it direct like any standard printer with out the use of a program.
It also has Bluetooth so you can connect to your computer or install an app on your phone and print shipping labels direct.
The labels that come with it are very good. They have no markings on the back, So if you have a smaller roll of the Royal Mail labels these will work as well. It also prints really fast, and Is half the price of the name brand options.
Took a while to set up for android, but works very good
This is an excellent cheaper alternative to a branded label printer, though doesn’t have a warranty. so if it breaks down after 30 days you lose the money you paid and end up just throwing it in the bin!
Though other than that, this is a great label printer for my business and is a lot easier than using a normal printer and then tape to stick the labels on with.
I only use this printer directly plugged into my computer, but it is extremely easy to use. There was no problem whatsoever getting it going and it communicates well with my Dell laptop.
when buying this, I saw one review that mentioned using from phone..so I wasn’t sure..I thought you would at least have to do the initial setup on a computer, nope! I have no wifi or computer, only cellular data & bluetooth. I sat it up w.my cell phone in about 5 mins or less. All you have to do is download the shipping printer app..follow direction booklet included, so easy. Everything you need is included in the box! very satisfied!
This thermal printer is great for my small business because i can use my phone to print. The reason for a 4 star is because when the first time i used it, there was like 8 empty labels that came out after the calibration. And because i don’t leave it on 24/7, everytime i turn it back on, there’s 2 empty label comes out. So this printer is kinda wasteful on labels but still cheaper to use than the printer that uses ink and toner and the avery kind labels.
This is definitely a game changer!
Great for label printing. It prints labels perfectly fine, neat and to a high standard.
It’s very neat and compact, very simple and easy to use and set up.
The build quality feels really good!
You get all you need in the box to get you started including blank labels.
I would definitely strongly recommend this label printer highly impressed
Have been using and on second roll of labels. Some printing as it comes out shows fading of printed text a little. Fine on barcodes. Very easy to use with Android app. Only issue is pdf files with check boxes or fill in blanks Do Not print, just the form. You have to convert them to jpg then they completely print fine. I think the app is stripping the form data from file as prints. Maybe this can be fixed.
My husbands been using this for several months now and I can’t believe how much time he saves. He ships several packages a week. I was worried as a lot of people had negative reviews about the app, but we haven’t had a problem. It’s a little clunky, but it gets the job done. Super easy to set up and the labels print in high quality.
Old app for printing worked great. Simple enough. New app not so much. Took an hour just to connect and stay connected.
Im updating my review. This is a frustrating experience but here’s what I’ve learned. First off i appreciate the company taking the time to update their description for possible future buyers. I see they recently changed it. It’s more clear. To some it up Not compatible with with chromebook but it’s stated clearly now. However I did test the App software for cellphone one time and it seems okay. Please be aware that the directions of the printer need to be updated as well too. There is new software but you have to go online to get it and not use the direction manual until they update it. Also this is out of their control but windows is putting “S mode” on their PCs and you can’t download the printer software on your computer at all if “s mode” is onjust incase anyone gets frustrated like me and thinks it’s the printer. It’s the computer.
I do 50 packages a day on Ebay. I use to write address labels. Took hours. Once I got the hang of this its amazing. I am 60 and hate tech stuff. It was not hard at all. I will buy this again if I need to. Easy to put paper in. Clear labels. I love it. Life changing.
I liked the fact that it is small enough to fit anywhere
I don’t like the fact that when it comes to printing time it is quite slow otherwise I’m satisfied
Review update**** Once I got the hang of it it is working fine. Wife only uses for Pirateship. Once I told her how it was done no more complaint from my wife. Customer service from this company thru e-mail had been a big help to learn the steps of printing. The only thing I don’t like is that from any other shipping company I have to crop to print the label. Since wife is happy with no issue everything is fine. Happy wife, happy life.
The delivery of the printer is very fast and easy to use. Whether it is a large label or a small label, the Bluetooth connection to the mobile phone is very simple and fast to print.
The Jadens staff was extremely helpful, and their customer service was superb. I only used Bluetooth from my iPhone to print labels exclusively, so I have to use the Shipping Printer App. At first, there was an issue with the App. The labels were not centered when printed, however they corrected the error in the App right away. Now, the labels are centered. Thanks very much for your speedy and excellent service.
Good quality and value for your money. Small, compact, lightweight and label rolls sit inside. No need to buy extra tray to hold labels. The Bluetooth option makes it a nice plus. This thermal shipping label printer is easy to use and setup on a laptop or Bluetooth with your phone. Their new “Shipping Printer” app is easy to use. I recommend downloading the app. Prints labels quickly and easily from your phone to printer. Their customer service is also friendly and helpful. : )
The company who’s selling this amazing shipping label printer should be rewarded,,,!price unbelievable low ,prints how you choose from dark to light letters, small size or big ,easy to install and Big big savings on shipping supplies,,,NO more buying tape or ink I’ll keep using my computer BUT,,,not for printing shipping labels,,,lol.
I would recommend it to everyone but more to people like me (old & disabled)no offense!but is so easy will save you time &money!am a happy customer.
This was a very easy set up. I followed instructions. You have to use an app FBA print to print but I use from my phone with ease. I have had no issues. My only problem is the label is slightly off center. Not enough to not use label but I wish I could figure out how to align a little better. So glad I bought this one and not a $300+ for bluetooth/wireless option!
It works fine but had I known it wouldn’t work with my iPhone/tablet I would have spent up to get a different wireless one. When I purchased this they didn’t have the disclaimer about it not working.
I was able to get the Bluetooth set up to print from my computer. They do include a USB dongle with videos to help you, and eventually I was able to get it. It didn’t work the first time, I had to mess around in Bluetooth settings in Windows a bit, but I got it on the second or third try. Once printing though, the quality was terrible, but I was able to figure out the problem. The image was printing very pixelated and faint, so I went into the printer settings >Graphics tab and changed Dithering to “none” and that fixed the problem. I was printing from PirateShip and for some reason it kept detecting the label as bigger than 4×6 and printing on two labels, instead of one. I opened the PDF of the label in Illustrator and in the print screen defined the sheet as 4×6 and then it printed just fine. Going back into the PirateShip print screen, and then the printer dialog that pops up, I found that the paper size was “USER” and that is larger than 4×6, so be sure to click on the drop down menu and choose the size you need. So if you’re having trouble with printing, poke around the settings. It really is wonderful having it work via Bluetooth so I don’t have to have a bunch of cords all over my desk from the computer to the printer. I also love that it’s a thermal printer and doesn’t require ink.
This label printer is a good helper for my online business to save my time and money. The print speed and quality are both super! Printers with PCs or smartphones have had no issues so far. I would like to give 5 stars for the printer with computer and 4 stars for smartphone printing because it only supports 4X6 Label. Otherwise, it is perfect.
I haven’t had issues installing the driver, but I check the user guide and the operation video in the USB sticker when I want to edit the size. It is a bit confusing that both the Jadens and Beeprt logos are on the package and I understand why some reviews mentioned they cannot get support when they contact Beeprt. They should be contacting the amazon seller Jadens and not the manufacturer because Amazon guarantees that the seller on amazon gives feedback within 24 hours.
I use it for lots of stickers! It is a must have for your business when you want to ship more and more parcels.
My old label printer went dead on me so I ordered this new one to give it a try. Glad I did! I make life much easier! My old printer only work with usb cable so I have to get to my computer all the time. Not to mention formats was not always right. With this printer all needed was a app to download and connect it to my iPhone via Bluetooth and it’s done. Formats are always right with clear thermal printing! Also love how portable it is ! I can just about to put it anywhere!
Yes, the app isn’t user friendly, but its results are great if you use the Gallery in the App, Main takeaway is people are overthinking it. There’s really just these steps to follow: 1) Open App. 2) Click the Gear Icon. 3) Click Connect 4) Follow prompts and your connected.
Now I just screenshot and crop my labels and use the Gallery feature in the app since I cant ever seem to import the pdfs.
Once connected, 1) Click BACK. 2) Swipe right for the picture of the tree, this is the Gallery icon. 3) Click on the Gallery and find your cropped screenshot of your label. (Screenshotting and cropping labels has to be done seperately outside the app beforehand). 4) I choose density at 8 and speed at 4. Never had any problems yet.
Time is money. The ability to print from my phone has been a game changer for my small business. Also handy for my own online returns. I don’t own a traditional ink printers since all I do is print labels. The price for a thermal printer is less than most packs of ink!
I am currently about 50 labels into the machine and it’s working great. The seller, Jaden’s, gave me outstanding customer service when I reached out and were able to solve my issue in a timely manner.
