Lovely, soft fleece. Warms up quickly and stays warm. This blanket costs about 3p an hour to run compared to the cost of putting my heating on which is about 1 an hour. Would have liked it to be a bit longer. I’m 5 foot 6 and it does cover my whole body but would have liked it a bit longer to tuck some blanket under my feet.
I’m so pleased with this purchase. I thought I was going to have rocketing electric bills using the blanket. What I didn’t realise is that it gets hot really quickly only have to have it on for half an hour and then it keeps me warm for the rest of the evening. It does work better as it describes on top of another blanket to help create the layers of warmth. Value for money.
My husband doesn’t feel the cold and I do, which means we have difficulty regulating the heating to suit us both. This is a wonderful buy and I stay really warm under it, I have not used it in the dead of winter yet but I’m glad I have it ready. It is really soft and it does seem to heat in patches but once it warms up the blanket seems to radiate the heat well and I didn’t notice the patchy heating. I would recommend this to those with arthritis and if you are trying to save on your heating bills. To be honest even when it is not turned on it is a very warm blanket and worth splashing out on.

It heats up really well all over gets quite warm on the high 7 setting which will be perfect for winter at the moment I’m using it on 3 or 4 setting which is perfect for the early morning and late afternoon chill. Lovely and soft and not too heavy which you don’t need it to be heavy as it heats up beautifully. Very satisfied with my purchase.
Unpacked product and followed instructions and it heated up so quickly, had to turn off as got too hot! So pleased I bought it! Cat loved it too! it’s really soft too even without heat it’s warm.
Love it.. Can’t belive I have not had one sooner, 2nd day wanted to stay warm without putting the heating on as costs are going up.. Had it on about 4 hours, I start on setting 7 for about 5 mins then I drop the heat down to 2, and it keeps me nice and warm. Looked at the smart meter and I had used about 25p which also had TV’s on so not bad, if I had the heating on it would of been about 4-5, put it in the bed and it warmed up nicely, turned it off but still had to take it off through the night as was to warm with quilt on as well. This should pay for itself in about three weeks of not having heating on as much, then might get one for the son.. Use them in the winter and if it gets chilly on a night. Definatley cheaper than gas heating and heating the whole house.. So far so good..

I am so glad I ordered this. I am the one in our house that feels the cold so to save putting on the heating I use this instead. It is so cosy and looks like a fleece throw. I love it. My daughters now both want one too. Really recommend it. It uses hardly any electricity so even more of a bonus!

I bought two of these (navy & grey) for two of my teen sons who have fussed relentlessly about being too cold at night – and so far (only been a week, mind) they are DELIGHTED with them. Only time will tell, however, how long they’ll last…but so far so good.
This came a couple of days earlier than expected and it was perfect timing as I’ve been very shivery today due to a virus. At first I thought it wasn’t effective but once you have it over you you can really feel the heat and I’ve only had it on low for a few hours. Totally smitten, my house is usually cold and as for everyone, heating it is expensive. This blanket feels excellent quality, of course you’ll feel where the heating elements are but they are not intrusive. Heats quickly and uniformly, there are pockets of heat where the blanket is creased or folded over – the cat has discovered this.. Would buy again.

Bought for my daughter, as she always is cold, she loves this blanket, and says best present ever, loves the warmth and softness.
Bought this to save putting heating on when working from home. Really soft material and gets warm pretty quick. Had to turn it down to lowest temp after a while. Believe it costs about 1p to 2p an hour to heat but will wait to see if my bill is cheaper. Would have liked longer cable on it as had to use an extension to reach the plug socket but overall really happy with it.

Bought this as I can’t afford to heat my house as I used to. As soon as it arrived, I plugged it in and it got beautifully warm, very quickly. I used to be quite uncertain about electric heated blankets. However I was pleasantly surprised how easy to use and safe it is. Clearly over the years there have been improvements to how they work. Firstly, there are 8 settings and timer from 1-9 hours. This a big must for me with electrical heated devices.

This is very thick and so soft it has 9 heat settings low then 1 to 7 and high. It has built in timer 1 to 9 hours. It’s a gorgeous fleece material and the stitching is neat and very well finished. It heats really quickly and really helps with my chronic pain. It’s machine washable at 40 and the remote easily comes on and off.
There is a big label but it easily tears off.

I’ve been using this heated blanket every night this winter, and it kept me warm and well. This heated blanket heats nicely, is easy to use, works great, is super soft, warm and cosy. I like the generous size of it, and the heated blanket feels very comfortable, lightweight, durable, and it doesn’t seem to be cheaply made. The cord is long enough, and the remote control is easy to use and user-friendly. Recommended.
The heat is dispersed throughout the throw and covers all areas nicely. The hot setting is amazing for these cold nights we have been having. I also like the throw to use when working from home to keep me warm whilst at my desk as I haven’t needed to have the heating on.
It is really easy to use with a remote for the time, temperature and hot level with a display that shows you the information. The cable is an ok length, it could be a little longer but I have not found it a problem as of yet.
The throw is a single size, still good enough for some cozy chilly nights. It gets warm pretty quickly. The only reason I did not gave 5 stars is because this should be taken anywhere and used in many ocassions. And for that to happen it should have an option for charging in form of a USB as well
I think my favourite part of this is that the design has been well thought out, it would cover just under a standard double bed (which is a huge size), but all the electrical components can be detached so that you can give the blanket a good wash when it needs it.
The blanket heats up quickly within 5 minutes, there are 8 heat settings which makes this practical for everyone to use, this is a welcomed change from the old ‘on or off’ settings. There are timers built in also so you don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving it on. I think electric blankets got a bad wrap a few years back, but the technology has come on so much now and the additional safety features built in really help to ease your mind.
I am really impressed with this blanket and think it really performs well in all aspects, I highly recommend the investment for those cold British nights.

It arrived quickly in the wonderfully box shown in images.
Opened the box and the blanket looks lovely and feels so so super soft and comfy yet durable. Its not as thick as i thought it would be however that said my wife said it gets really toasty.
The stitching is perfect and i could not find any loose stitching even around where the connector is on the blanked, the heating element can be felt through the blanket but its not over thick so it does not seem to bother my wife.
I literally just plugged it in and used the controller unit to set the heat level. Within a few minutes she was snuggled up and nice and warm. The power cable is long enough to plug into near the sofa or even on the bed should the wife need it.
Washing we have had to wash it as our dog decided to jump up on wife with muddy paws, we put it in the washing machine on a gentle wash 40C with a small amount of powder and comfort (if i’m honest i was worried due to the power port on the blanket. We allowed it to air dry, my wife has since used it again and it appeared to work really as it should.
If I ever have an issue with the blanket after a period of time or after multiple washes, I will be sure to come back and update my review,
All in all wife is super happy (happy wife = happy life) based on first use recommended
It’s a well made heated thrown cover.
It doesn’t take long to heat up, and the easy to use controls are simple to master. The electrical vocable is detachable so the blanket can be cleaned. There appears to be a fail safe that turns the blanket down after a period of time, I expect this is a safety feature. Overall the heat dissipation is good with no apparent cold spots and the high setting is just too hot for me.
In general the finish of the product is good so if you are feeling the chill of a winter night plug in and get warm. It’s good enough that my daughter has commandeered the blanket.

Really glad I gave this one a chance. I have chronic pain and health issues affected by the cold. With the energy bills going up I am too scared to use my central heating so have been using this blanket on a daily/nightly basis.
It gets really warm which I was glad about. However as others have mentioned the heat dispersion is not great. I found that some areas of the blanket unfortunately remained cold. Another thing I did not like about this blanket was that the controller seems to have a built in timer that automatically turns the thermostat to low after a certain amount of time. Not sure how to turn this off, it seems to be every hour and a half or so. Even if I have the timer on for many hours this still happens. I understand that it may be needed in case of overheating but I found it to be a minor inconvenience so thought I’d mention it.
The blanket itself is so soft and snuggly. Honestly. I have sleeping issues. Since using this blanket my quality of sleep has improved greatly. Which is a positive that I did not expect! The plush is so incredibly soft.

The heated throw is so warm and big enough to snoogle into which I’ve not had this sort of electrical heated blanket before but I’m in love with how great the material is and how it keeps me warm on cold nights but even without using the heat its still very warm and very cosy.
It has 9 different heat settings which all. Work great and very safe, I haven’t had any issues using it at all.
Easy to wash and doesn’t make the material go funny after a few Washes like normal throws do, so I’m very pleased with that.
I defiently say it’s worth having one of these heated throws as it definitely works well and heats up without a doubt, definitely recommend.
So, this one is more of a ‘heated fleece comforter,’ which sounds more appealing to me and avoids any notion of me getting on a bit in age. It’s attractive to look at and is a good size to cover most of a standard double mattress, if not all of it. It’s well made and as you can see from my photos, it’s well stitched together with tight, linear seams. It’s just the right weight and thickness too – ideal for washing and air drying the same day. In fact, I found that it dried out indoors over an airer by the radiator in about 8 hours.
In use, the blanket (sorry….throw!) heats up in about 5 minutes. If you select the ‘H’ setting it goes to ‘max’ straight away and reduces automatically after an hour. I’ve been using it like this before going to bed, placing it between the top bed sheet and duvet on colder evenings and it’s worked a treat. I’ve also found it occasionally useful for draping over my legs and feet whilst in front of the TV. I’m afraid I’m one of those people who parades around the house in shorts and bare feet all year-round…. The timer works well but I haven’t plucked up the courage to try it out ‘unattended’ overnight just in case….well, y’know. Apparently it’ll heat up to 55 degrees Celsius (that’s quite hot!) but it doesn’t feel quite as toasty as that in use.
So, it’s a great blanket/throw/comforter/doofer that looks a sight more attractive than granny’s old ‘candlewick monstrosity of doom.’ The only downside I can find is that the cable could be a bit longer as it dangles over the side of the bed when the throw is laid out on top. Other than that, it’s a good buy and I’d recommend it.

This one is soft and pliable enough to use as a lap blanket as well as on a bedI like the old fashioned more rigid type spoof electric blanket.
It is a great size and so very soft next to the skin. I have not as yet washed it but from the description, the blanket is washable once you detach the control unitbut of course read instructions prior to doing so.
Definitely a quality blanket, very well made and excellent quality fabric and well priced for what it is.
**update** …….suddenly the blanket is getting hot all over now and so seems to be working properly! It gets very hot on ‘high’ setting too – lovely when it’s been really cold.
The only reason I haven’t changed this review to 5 stars is that the stitching has started to come away around part of the blanket so I will still have to return it. However, I will try another one of these now that I know once they do heat up fully, they are really cosy
It does take time to heat up properly, so it’s not one for instant heat, so you may want to think ahead about when to turn it on, but this may have something to do with it being so large, it covers a double bed up to the pillows.
Controls are simple to use, the throw is lovely and soft, I just need to have a little patience.
First we love the material of this Electric heater throw, it is so soft. Then it is very easy to use. It has 9 levels heat for choose. It also have a timer. We used a week, the performance is quite nice. Only one things could be improve is add a overheat signal. As 20 mins later, it could become so hot. I always worry that it will be overheat. Beside this one, We still happy with this.

The material is a nice grey colour and so soft and comfortable, so there’s no itching or scratching, just a comfortable warmth from the start, even before you’ve plugged it in and switched it on. And it looks well stitched so it should last quite some time.
Even though this is an electric blanket is can be thrown into the washing machine to be washed, and come out undamaged. Which is what you need really.

Work is so very busy as I work at a supermarket 5/6_or7 days a week. I fill shelves and constantly on the go. I don’t get home until the early hours. Between 12.45 and 1ish. I am still warm when I arrive home but then my temperature drops and my central heating just doesn’t warm me up. Oh boy this curl up over blanket is just perfect! I have got into the habit of plugging it in when I get home, so I can relax for a couple of hours before I go to bed.
The over blanket is super soft and wraps over me like that is where it’s meant to be. There are various heat settings to suit each person to what they need. I love that this gives me the perfect relaxation to go to bed and fall straight to sleep when I feel that I am ready.
The Keplin Heated Electric Throw is a lovely soft silver-grey fleece that measures 160cm x 130cm and can be safely machine-washed after removing the power lead and controller. It has nine heat settings and should keep even the coldest mortal comfortably warm during bitter winter months. My only complaint, and the reason I’ve dropped it one star, is that it’s described as a mattress cover when in fact it should only be used to throw over you. But it works really well, keeps me snug and toasty warm, and I recommend it. It’s worth keeping the instruction manual that’s enclosed for future reference.

It works really well, it’s not too hot, instead, it provides a nice ambient level of heat underneath it. Perfect for working from home, sitting on the sofa watching movies or preheating her side of the bed!

You could cook your Granny if unsupervised, the throw is quite slow to warm up with patchy dispersal of heat. After a while at the highest heat level it becomes very warm indeed. A real boon for the Winter months.
This is a lovely throw/blanket. It is a great size and is so soft. It heats up well and retains the heat for a good amount of time.

When I think heated blanket, I think granny, and some 1960s blanket that if it heated up within half an hour you were lucky.
Today’s modern day version is something else.
For starters the fleece itself is a nice thick chunky one.
It’s washable.
The controls are detachable and this is how it is washable.
The controls themselves are pretty self explanatory. With different temperature settings, or in my case, I simply choose the high option.
Being the maximum width of 160cm I find this good enough for a single bed, good enough for a lounge sofa throw, and apparently good enough for the dogs to steal and sleep under.
….. and if its good enough for the hounds, its top notch as they’re fussy where they sleep !!

The throw is extremely warm, even when it’s not plugged in, it’s a very soft fleece material, it feels like velour and it’s fully machine washable at 40 degs C, delicate wash inside a net bag, it comes with a care label, just remove the connection before washing the blanket. The instruction book does recommend wipe clean only though, to prolong its life.
The whole blanket has been neatly stitched and very well finished off.
It’s very much appreciated by the wife, who complains of a draft in the corner of the house she sits in, caused by a dehumidifier running, so now she can keep the draft out and wrap herself up in this fluffy heated blanket. She used it last night, and was toasty warm all night.
