The KingCamp Pop Up Beach Tent is a great option for anyone looking to protect themselves from the sun while they’re out in the great outdoors.
The tent comes with a carry bag, which makes it easy to transport. You can use it on your next camping trip or even take it along on your next beach vacation.
It’s made of polyester and PVC, so it’s durable and won’t rip easily. It has three windows: one on each side and one in front, so you can keep an eye on what’s going on outside without having to open up your tent.
The tent is lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to carry around wherever you go!
Very simple to use, but you’ll never work it out from the instructions. There is a youtube video that shoes you how. Once you know the trick, this is very simple to use and offers great protection on the beach.
Bought this for a trip to the beach to keep my child out the sun. But given the hot weather that we are having at the moment, we took it to a friends birthday party for some shade. It is a really good size and there ended up with 4 children taking shelter from the sun and still room for them to play. Really impressed with how cool it was inside!
This is a lightweight beach tent that can be used as a shade or place to shelter when the beach just gets to hot. It fits neatly into a carry bag, that can genuinely be carried one handed. I might even take it on a train journey to the beach (I don’t drive) as it isn’t so bulky that you’d need to put it in the car. Folding it out is very easy, the outer legs of the frame just need snapping into place, then the ends pinning down to the ground (tent pegs included). The roll down window covers are a nice bonus too. Putting it away is a little fiddly, but can be done by one person. It just takes a bit of force to snap the central frame back down, which worries me about eventually breaking it. Other than than, it’s a great addition to my summer breaks.
Fr den anstehenden Urlaub waren wir noch auf der Suche nach einer greren Strandmuschel, unsere alte, und dazu noch deutlich kleinere, hatte es so langsam hinter sich. Daher wollten wir dieser Strandmuschel gerne einmal eine Chance geben.
Die Lieferung erfolgt in einer lnglichen Tasche, was mir persnlich deutlich besser gefllt als die momentan so hufig anzutreffenden Pop Up- Strandmuscheln, die rund weggepackt werden. So lsst sich das Ganze direkt besser transportieren.
Der erste Eindruck ist direkt gut. Die Strandmuschel hat aufgrund des Gestnges und ihrer Gre recht viel Gewicht, hier sollte abgewogen werden, ob man damit klarkommt. Wer lange Wege zu Fu zurcklegt, um zum Strand zu kommen, drfte hin und wieder nicht ganz so begeistert sein. Fr uns war das kein Ausschlusskriterium.
Die Verarbeitung gefllt uns gut, das Gestnge hat nun schon zwei recht windige Tage ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken berstanden, hier haben wir keine Bedenken, dass wir lange Zeit Freude mit der Strandmuschel haben werden.
Der Auf- und Abbau ist schnell erledigt, aufgrund der Gre ist es aber hilfreich, wenn man das zu zweit erledigt. Hat man sich einmal in das Prinzip eingefuchst, dann ist die Strandmuschel in unter drei Minuten wieder in der Tasche verstaut, das bekommen auch die Kinder hin.
Die Gre ist phnomenal, gerade, wenn man nur die blichen kleinen Strandmuscheln kennt. Wir standen da alle vier davor und sagten nur noch wow”. Da passen wir als Familie gut rein, mit etwas Geschick knnen wir das Teil sogar noch als Zelt zum umziehen nutzen.
Der Preis von aktuell 69,99 ist gerechtfertigt, hier haben wir ebenfalls nichts dran auszusetzen.
Von mir gibt es daher auch fnf Sterne!
Ich finde diesen Campingzelt bzw den strandzelt insgesamt ganz in Ordnung, weil man damit einen kompakten Zelt hat, der sich fr den Urlaub wirklich eignet Punkt es passt fr zwei bis drei Personen, wenn man natrlich auch Kinder hat, kleine Kinder, dann geht das notfalls auch mit vier Personen. Aber ideal ist es fr zwei bis drei Personen. Von der Optik her finde ich diesen Strandzelt ganz gut und er gibt auch ausreichend Schatten, was ich natrlich sehr toll finde von der Materialqualitt fand ich den auch soweit ganz gut und das schne ist dass man es soweit ganz schnell aufbauen kann. Es bentigt nur wenig Zeitaufwand, damit es aufgebaut ist. Alles in allem ist das ein wirklich toller Strandzelt, der von der Optik her als auch von der Qualitt he
Diese Strandmuschel ist fr einen mit Routine in rund 2-3min alleine aufgestellt und es gibt hier keinen Hitzestau, da sie so luftig ist. Sie bietet guten Schutz, vor der Sonne. Sie ist so leicht, dass man auch sehr gut (am Stck) mit ihr das Pltzchen wechseln kann.
Dank eines Produkttests durfte ich dieses Outdoor-Zelt testen.

Das Zelt macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck und ist gut verarbeitet. Durch die eingenhten Sandscke steht es auch stabil bei Wind und Wetter und ermglicht so ein tolles Outdoor-Erlebnis am Stand. Das Aufbauen geht sehr leicht vonstatten und ist auch fr Zeltaufbau-Anfnger gut geeignet. Der Abbau ist, wenn man wei, wie es geht auch einfach. Leider ist die Anleitung nicht so klar und hilfreich und es dauert etwas, bis man den Bogen raus hat (mittlerweile hat der Hersteller ein Auf- und Abbauvideo verffentlicht, was das Ganze deutlich einfacher macht).
Durch das geringe Gewicht und den Beutel mit Griffen, in dem es verstaut wird, ist es sehr leicht zu transportieren und gut mitzunehmen. Auch als Strandzelt fr einen Flugurlaub ist es durch das geringe Gewicht von 3 kg gut geeignet. Der Koffer sollte hierfr eine Mindestlnge von 80cm haben. Die neben dem Windschutz wichtigste Funktion, als Sonnenschutz, erfllt das Strandzelt ebenfalls mit Bravour. Bisher konnten wir es noch nicht am Strand testen, der Hrtetest steht also noch aus. Dennoch hielt es bei unserem Probeaufbau im Garten die Sonne gut ab. Durch die Fenster kommt hierbei immer noch ein lauer Luftzug hindurch, sodass sich die Luft innerhalb des Zeltes nicht unangenehm erwrmt.
Insgesamt lsst sich fast nur Positives ber das Zelt sagen, auch was das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis angeht, befindet es sich in einem hnlichen Rahmen wie vergleichbare Produkte. Einzig und allein wrde ich das Abbauen bzw. Zusammenfalten als Kritikpunkt sehen, da man nach einem Tag am Strand oder generell drauen eher wenig Lust hat, ewig auszuprobieren, bis man letztendlich den Dreh raushat und das Zelt wieder zusammengepackt ist. Da knnte die Anleitung einfach noch hilfreicher gestaltet sein. Dank Video ist es aber mittlerweile gut machbar. Insgesamt gibt es trotz der kleinen Schwierigkeiten 5 Sterne!
A great day tent for using to sit in out of the sun or to get changed in if you lift up the front flap. It’s a great size but very much doubt 4 people could fit in comfortably, it would be a a squash unless the four people are children. It would fit 2 people easily with room to maneuvere so will be great for fishing enthusiasts or wildlife watchers.
It’s also great for the garden if you have young children or dogs to keep them sheltered from the sun. I’ve put cool mats inside for my dogs too lie on to kerp cooler when the sun is hot.
It’s well made with excellent tent materials, good guy lines and the ground sheet is a decent thickness too. The tent pegs aren’t the best but are adequate unless you’re caught in extremely strong winds but if you’re sat inside it during strong winds the weight of humans and other items would stop it blowing away.
It’ll be perfect to use as a storage tent if camping, especially as the groundsheet extends enough to lift up as a front flap which can then be secured so you have that privacy.
I really like this tent. I no longer go camping but if I did I’d definitely take this with me for storage and for my dogs to keep out of the sun in.
I negative is it was impossible for me to pack away on my own and even with help it wouldn’t go back into the storage bag. I don’t understand why makers of items to be folded back into a bag don’t make the storage bags a bit bigger and also stronger. It’s so easy to put up but fiddly to put away.
Ein Zelt hingegen ist da schon deutlich stabiler. Aber es mssen Stangen und all das Gedns gepuzzelt werden, bis das Teil bezugsfertigt ist. Und schwer ist son Zelt auch im Vergleich zur Strandmuschel.
Dieses Campingzelt vereint mit interessanter Technik beide Welten:
Es hat ein stabiles und doch extrem leichtes Gestnge, eine hochwirksame Aussenhaut, einen stabilen Boden (den man notfalls auch als Pseudotr benutzen kann und ist NICHT in Puzzleteilen zerlegt sondern lsst sich quasi aufpoppen wie das leichte PopUp-Muschelchen.
Das Zusammenlegen gestaltet sich anfangs als rtselhaft, aber mit etwas bung gelingt der Rckbau erfreulich schnell. Ich persnlich empfehle dringend, vor dem ersten Einsatz unter Realbedingungen den Auf- und Abbau zu verinnerlichen, denn die klimatischen Bedingungen knnen sich von Jetzt auf Gleich dramatisch ndern und da kann jede Minute kostbar werden, um seinen Plunder aus der Gefahrenzone zu schaffen. Ansonsten kann das Teil bei den blichen Witterungsbedingungen stehen bleiben.
Im Moment haben die Thronfolger das Zelt im Garten fr sich entdeckt. Weil es erfreulich robust ist, wird es wohl bald auch mal dem zugedachten Zweck einer kleinen Mopedtour zugefhrt werden.
Das Produkt erscheint mit hochinteressanter Technik und hat dadurch einen enormen Nutzwert zu einem erstaunlichen Preis von derzeit akzeptablen knapp 70 Euro und verdient aus meiner Sicht die volle Punktzahl.
Easy use kids loved it , very versatile to all weathe
The tent is very lightweight and comes in a handy bag so no problem with carrying it. The closing and opening mechanism will pitch your tent anywhere under a minute. I like the vented window for added comfort. Will be good for sun protection, for wind protection, for resting & for privacy for changing.
This makes life easy! Easy to put up, easy to secure, easy to carry and easy to fold back up again! We always take our little dog with us to the beach and need somewhere for her to shelter when the sun gets too much and this is ideal, good for my hubby and me too. Very well made and sturdy, Cornwall here we come!
This is a fabulous pop up sun protection tent!
It arrives in its storage / carry bag with handles. It is surprising lightweight so you could easily carry it on a walk and pop it up when you stop for lunch.
All the frame poles are already attached so no need to do any fiddly threading. The longer poles are folded in half so just need unfolding.
There are tent pegs to peg it into the ground.
The ‘windows’ can be covered by attaching the flaps to the top by toggles.
And should you want some privacy, the flap at the front fastens to the inside of the tent. Perfect for quick swimming cossy changes!
It very comfortably fits three adults but there is room for more although it may be a bit of a squeeze to get everyone under the shade.
Also it is a great wind break and I love the privacy I now have in the garden.
Easy and quick to fold and pop back into its carry bag.
I would love to be able to buy an insect net to cover the front. Then my life would be complete!

This is a really nice shelter that can accomodate up to 4 people.
I ordered this tent for use at motor sport events around the country and to give my wife and I shelter from the fickle British weather.
So far I have only tried it out on my lawn, but I can confirm it opens very easily, is large, well made and appears to be quite robust. The material looks to be strong, with for the most part, excellent stitching. The instructions (sewn into the carry bag are pretty bad in my opinion, or they could at least be a lot more informative. I found trying to fold this tent away again to be a little difficult using the instructions as a guide, but I got there in the end. To be fair, the process itself is not too difficult once deciphered, and perhaps I just had a senior moment. After a large shower the tent remained dry inside. I have not yet experienced strong winds, but if pegged into soft ground and a few personal items inside, I suspect it will stay in place, within reason of course.
The windows are a good idea. One can have plenty of ventilation if required, and if not then the windows can be ‘sealed’ with the attached flaps. The front of the ground sheet can also be lifted and fixed into an upright position to give more protection if required, which is also a good idea. The fairly thick material the tent is constructed from should offer good protection against the sun.
For carrying to and from locations a decent carry bag is provided. The tent is reasonably light to carry using this bag, and fatigue will very likely be minimal even if carrying for a large distance. Pegs for fixing the tent to the ground are also provided in this well thought out product.
A very decent product that I anticipate using a great deal.
I got this tent for my kids to play in the garden but recently because of the sudden outburst of sunshine I decided to use it for the beach and I was glad that I took it along.
It was so simple to set up, just release it out of the supplied carrying bag and it pops open.
This tent was so useful, I used it as a shade when the sun was at its highest and also as a changing room when I needed to change the girls into their swimming costumes, without this tent the beach could have been a bit of a headache.
This text is so easy to set abs versatile that it is now the default tent we use when we go to the beach.
This is definitely the best beach shelter in terms of design and quality that I’ve tried so far and I’ve tried quite a few over the years , they don’t seem to last long but this one seems built to last and looks durable.
If set up and pegged down properly it forms a very sturdy structure , it stands up to wind and has a good quality ground sheet and windows to let in light.
It also comes in a good quality carry bag to carry it easily, it’s not even that heavy either , it’s a versatile bit of kit , great for the beach , but also for a day at the park or if we are having a family BBQ, it’s a good little shelter for the kids to sit in, they love it.
It’s super easy to set up , the frame pops up and it’s a sturdy free standing structure that can be moved around or turned around easily if wind direction changes.
It will provide shelter from blowing sand or rain showers , it’s well Ventilated, you an lift the ground sheet up to almost provide full shelter all sides.
It does look waterproof and the materials used look good quality, the frame is thick but still pretty lightweight, you can sit 3 or 4 people inside comfortably great for eating your sandwiches or getting changed at the beach for a bit of privacy.
Not the cheapest shelter but if looked after and stored away properly after using it in a dry place , I can see this shelter lasting years.

Had couple of beach tents before but this one is absolutely amazing in comparison. Size, windows and the way it folds really makes it quite something. Pack it back it’s also extremely easy and quick even with big winds. It’s very specious as well, great addition to go sea side gear. Love i
