It is very lightweight and easy to handle. It is made of stainless steel and so cleaning is also easy. It however has a couple of issues. The handle is smooth and does not provide a good grip especially if your hand is wet. The shovel and pickaxe end carry unequal amounts of weight on either side and so feels a bit unbalanced especially when you first start to use it and the heavier end which is the shovel end tends to drop down to the ground even if you want to use the pickaxe end. However, as you use it more and more, you learn how to use it and so it becomes less of a problem. The grip is still an issue and you need to make sure that it does not slip out of your hands to go and strike anyone close. It is a very sharp instrument and so it can become a deadly weapon if you are not careful.

Bought this at a great price so I can use it when I go metal detecting, it is very well made, stainless steel and I did the magnet test so I know it’s what it should be, can’t wait to go the beech and get it working,

Was impressed with this hand tool shiny and strong the weight was not lightweight and flimsy but reassuringly a good weight and strong in the hand with a good balance to do the job type of feel

I’m not very strong and my soil is heavy clay which can become very compact. This great tool made easy work of digging in and getting the weeds up where as before all i could do was chop them off at soil level. Absolutely love it.

Very useful mini garden tool. Very lightweight. The point not great for anything hard .as tends to bend a little. Good for just raking up the ground good reach on it .
