Stunning
This product was my daughters santa gift. While there was some assembly to it it was straight forward enough. The materials are great quality and it’s really big and looks beautiful assembled. It is costly compared to other dollhouse so I would advise getting for an older child but worth it just how fab it is

Beautiful dolls house. Straightforward but fiddly to assemble
It is a really nicely crafted solid wooden dolls house. Should give years of pleasure. It is quite heavy once constructed and there is knack and requiring two adults to move it. Assembly is straightforward, but tome consuming and fiddly.
If it is gift I would recommend putting it together first rather than have an excited child hovering over you while you screw it together. Once built it is very sturdy

Beautiful and great quality
Really pleased with our choice, I spent a long time looking at different dolls houses for my 2 year old but so happy we chose this one. The detail on the inside is fantastic, and really pleased with the included furniture set (one piece arrived broken but Amazon remidied quickly). Great quality and beautiful.

The recipient, age 5, adores this. She has populated it with various small toy creatures, e.g. her Peppa Pig collection, in preference to the set of dolls-house dolls we bought, so maybe don’t bother buying specific dolls?
The stairs are a bit tricky and she can’t put them back in place herself – they are removable, but it may be better to glue in place after assembly.
Biggest drawback is that although you can open up the roof and see into the attic, to which a set of internal stairs lead, you can only open the flap by removing the chimneys. This is a design flaw in my opinion. She now has it permanently open, which does spoil the look a bit.
It is not too deep front to back, so will fit against a bit of spare wall in a bedroom without sticking out into the room too far.

Beautiful, well made dolls' house
This is a beautiful and large-size dolls’ house, standing just over 3′ tall at the highest points. The dolls’ house comes flat packed in a large-sized box that has a huge label showing the contents – it’s worth bearing this in mind when ordering if you’re intending this to be a surprise present, in case it’s shipped in just its own box. If they do this, it could be quite hard to hide. The build wasn’t too bad – not too many pieces, the diagrammatic instructions are quite clearly labelled, the pieces easy to identify – and over the whole build there’s a fair amount of repetition.
The dolls’ house is fully painted on the outside, but on the inside some of the wooden elements (the floors, stairs, and ladder running between storeys have been left in natural-effect wood, with just a simple coat of clear varnish). I like this – it both helps to keep a clear, visible connection to the natural materials use, and does it in a way that’s reasonably plausible for interior decor: the floors and stairs are wooden, whilst the walls have been decorated. Although none is included, the furniture sets from the same series incorporate a lot of natural-looking wooden components. On the outside, most of the detail is created through paintwork effects – for instance, the shaping on the front door, and tiling to the roof are painted rather than added on mouldings/tiles. For a young child’s dolls’ house this is really practical, as it has an appealing look but there aren’t lots of little pieces that can become knocked off/damaged in play.
Doesn’t include any dolls or furniture. I know this is pretty much standard practice, but it always seems a little stingy to me when manufacturers don’t include at least one doll and a couple simple pieces of furniture just to get you started. Fits both wooden dolls and furniture from this brand, and other 12:1 scale ranges. 12″ fashion dolls are a bit too tall to be able to stand in the rooms, though they can sit, but smaller (6-9 inch) dolls fit without problem alongside/instead of the wooden dolls this is designed for.
Dream Doll House
This is the dream doll house that most little girls who are now Mum’s wished for when they were little (yes I would have loved this) and my Daughter absolutely adores it.
Made from wood and beautifully painted the doll house has three main floors complete with stairs between the floors (I think this is one of my Daughters favourite parts as she doesn’t have to pretend there are stairs there to move between floors) and an opening roof to reveal a fourth attic level.
Inside the house has been decorated but you will need to purchase furniture to fit if you haven’t got it already as please note this is not a Barbie size house.
The shutter windows open as does the front door and there is even little flower window box details.
An absolutely stunning house which stands at approximately 90cm high and took my Husband around an hour to assemble with help from his little helper.
This is a Dolls House that has been built to last and I love the care and attention that seems to go into Le Toy Van toys as we have quite a few of their toys now. Wooden toys are growing in preference to plastic ones again and this is one example of how to do a Dolls House and then do a Dream Dolls House – absolutely beautifully made.

A gorgeous town house. Tall, sturdy, durable. It took a but of effort for me to put together, not because it didn’t fit (it does) but that was because of the weight of it… which makes me wonder if I mess this up or whether the misalignment of the roof is my fault or a manufacturing error. (If it’s the latter, I’d be complaining). Regardless, my god-daughter loves it and it’s great to watch her play with various dolls within it.

Easy to assemble, versatile to play with and has stood up to many hours of happy play. Glad I got this for my friend’s daughter’s they’re having a whale of a time even under lockdown.

It’s expensive but nice. My 5 year old loves it. Great service. The first one had a bolt missing and some damage which was quickly replaced with a new one. Plus the good people at Amazon also played the role of elf for my little one. She wanted to know who was going to fix her Christmas present. Thanks much

Perfect! no plastic anywhere...
Beautiful dolls house! I built this up on my own and found the instructions and the parts easy to assemble, the only part I worried about were the hinges on the front doors as there weren’t markings on where to screw it – I held off doing it until the last minute so I could make sure the doors closed! It took me approximately an hour to open, unwrap all the parts and build. The only part that I feel is odd is the loft ladder to the attic through the loft hatch, they don’t connect to anything so just fall down but the other two stair cases are lovely.
The house stands a just under 1 meter tall and has 4 floors, 3 normal floors and an attic which you can make accessible by folding the front roof panel back onto the one behind (the chimneys need to be removed to enable this). It’s very sturdy and has some lovely detail, the house is at 1/12 scale and is great for role play/imagination but it is quite heavy so not easily moved around the house. I loved that the whole house (and the furniture if you want to add) are wooden so very durable, no tacky plastic anywhere, which works well with our Montessori household.
The house came on its own so we asked the family to buy the Le Toy Van furniture which is also beautiful and very detailed.
If you’re looking for a dolls house with a wow factor this is the one, it’s every child’s dream to have a house like this!!

Doing dollhouse play and role
Playing is wonderful for kids and the beauty of a dolls house is that the appeal is wide- from the toddler right up to 8/9/10.
Le Toy Van have designed this so well with three levels and very easy to put together in a short space of time with minimal
Guidance….perfect for any home with kids under 10 in it and any childcare space eg nursery. There are some cute details both internally and externally and it is nice and sturdy so repeated play hasn’t caused any warping. We have seen superheroes going “to the restaurant house for a rest” or it become a hedgehog hotel which is a lovely thing to see in a time when screens have taken away a lot of imaginative play…
