I bought this as a present for a friends son and he loved it. He loves Minecraft and this was a perfect gift for him. He had help from his mum building it and they both enjoyed doing it. It looks great once built up and he enjoys playing with it.

My daughter loves Minecraft and with her birthday coming up I just had to buy this. I got a bundle deal of two sets, the mushroom house and the fox lodge. The deal was pretty good with both sets being just under 30 which is a steal when most places retail these sets individually as somewhere close too 20.
The sets haven’t been opened yet as I’ve put them away for her birthday but it’s Lego so what could be wrong with it?
Great price, nice little addition for my 6 year old stepson. Meant to be a Xmas present but I’ve gave him it early , he followed the instructions and built it all on his own.
This set has kept my son entertained for a while now…he completes a little more every few days and enjoys seeing the progress 🙂

Very nice lego set for children (and adults) into Minecraft. A little fox den in the shape of a fox head with a Zombie, a fisherman and 3 fox’s. This set was very easy to build with nice clear demonstrative instructions via pictures. The set is small in scale and can easily squeeze into many collectors rooms.
I do think the finished piece could do with a handful of extra pieces just to make the top of the structure look smoother and feel more sturdy.
That said, my son loves it.

Lego stands the test of time.My children lined Lego and my son had every set made now my grandson is following suit .He loves his Lego and really wanted this set for his birthday.Very hapoy with the product and was delivered quickly.

You could give this as a gift/present for Christmas,Birthdays and much much more.I think this Lego set is very good and Lego’s are brilliant too but this one is like Minecraft kind of so if you are receiving/giving it you might like Minecraft but even if you don’t, it is still a fantastic gift even if you like Minecraft or not.

This set is really good value – you get 193 pieces. The set is age 8+ and that’s about right I think.
The main model is a house in the shape of a sleeping fox. It has an open back and the roof lifts off too so you can play with the inside.
The set includes two minifigures: a hero in a fox outfit and a zombie. You also get a fox, a baby fox and an Arctic fox.
It’s perfect for small world role play and gets kids off the console or phone for a bit! It’s even better when you combine it with other Lego Minecraft sets.
A really cute set and the Minecraft fan in the family is delighted with it. He has a few sets and loves them all and this is a nice addition to his collection. The play value on it’s own might be short lived with this set but alongside several others it’s like a little Minecraft world for the people to roam though. Very nice set and reasonbly priced/good value.

It has a good amount of detailing and was very fun to build.
It’s a decent set but sometimes sets like these barely feel like they are minecraft at all if it wasn’t for the small detailing put inside a generic building. Still good to add to the collection though!

Our six year old was able to build this on her own, its not a challenging build in the least as the instructions are spot-on. It took about 30 minutes to construct and a good little set for beginners.
It’s a very good representation of Minecraft, nice vibrant colours and a good amount of detail for imaginative play.

Perhaps you are browsing amazon for a gift for a Minecraft fan? Perhaps you are looking to treat yourself? Look no further than this Lego set! Minecraft themed, it features a fox lodge with some Lego figures including a zombie and some pets. I found that this Lego set was really fun to put together, especially since the colours on this set are super vibrant and compliment each other well. Particularly on the fox lodge where the oranges and whites bricks go well together!
This is a fairly mini set and took about 15 minutes for me to put it together. This could be a fun bonding activity to do with a child or friend. Not to mention, it would look amazing on display once put together in the bedroom of a Minecraft fan! Really well presented and high quality bricks (193 in total) by Lego. 5 stars and would highly recommend! 🙂

My 11 year old helper did a good job building the set, and I hope it’s helpful to share her observations incase you are buying for a similar age.

She was happy with the speed of build, but would be happy with longer or shorter ‘as long as it isn’t a million years’. (It took about 30 minutes).
In comparison to some other LEGO Minecraft sets there is less scope for imaginative play, in our opinion.
The Guardian Battle naturally supports play, and the Mushroom house is more detailed inside and out, whilst the Rabbit Ranch has interactive elements. So it’s great for a fan of the foxes in particular but those other sets might be worth a look.
This Lego Minecraft set is for kids 8+. It features a toy house designed like a sleeping fox, with a structure that opens back and a lift-off roof enabling imaginative play.
There are 193 pieces with 39 building steps in the manual, which as usual are clearly laid out and easy to follow.
Once you’ve completed the construction it looks fantastic. The roof comes off, showing all the pieces inside, the fireplace, table and cake, plus in the next room the bed and a plant pot. Hours of fun,
Lego is suitable for all children as they learn patience, construction and following the instructions and then they have hours of fun and imaginative play. A great set of great quality as you’d expect from Lego.

We love this Lego Minecraft set. It includes the 5 characters and it’s fox themed which we love. There’s plenty of pieces to keep you occupied and there’s a drowned zombie to fight. They’ve included cool details like the sword (obviously), fishing rod with fish and furniture pieces.
This is good value and great as a collectible.
Another lovely set we’ve managed to test from the Lego manufacturer. Me and my nephew are really enjoying these! This set arrived in a medium sized box and would wrap up perfectly as a nice gift. Arrived complete with the easy to follow step by step guide for building and once up I loved how this one has loads of Lego men and also little trap doors etc on the Minecraft building. Really fun and full of colour. My nephew already had a few other Minecraft sets, so this has fit in well next to them. He is very pleased and I think the price is great too!
Minecraft obviously works perfectly as a Lego set because of its blocky design. The set was easy to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The finished piece was a big hit, especially the interior. I don’t think it looks as nice as other Lego sets but I’m not the Minecraft obsessive!

I have to confess, I don’t understand the appeal of Minecraft. Blocky buildings, blocky figures and blocky animals – I don’t get it? However my 10 year old grandson loves it! This is a big random square orange “house” ( actually, after a while I realised that the house is actually a fox!] with a zombie, foxy figure, couple of small foxes and other bits of stuff. At just under 200 pieces it’s quite a big set although the build itself is fairly simple (Well it should be-it’s all blocks!)
As you would expect with Lego, the item is quality, sturdy and everything fits together perfectly. Usually I would give a set like this the full 5 stars, however because of the Minecraft tie-in I would say this is specifically for diehard Minecraft fans only, so please bear that in mind as it lacks the universal appeal of other more generic Lego sets.
If you or your kids enjoy Minecraft (a game about blocks), then what could be better than a Lego Minecraft set… double blocks!
I’m afraid the whole Minecraft world is a bit beyond me and that makes me feel rather old, but this very orange set from Lego features a skulk of foxes (yes I looked that up), a fox shaped lodge (I actually think that’s pretty cool), as well as a Water Zombie… err, I’m not sure why either.
All I do know is that it features the usual quality you’d expect from Lego (no missing parts and clear instructions), and my 9 year old nephew seems to like it and approves.
This is the first Minecraft Lego set we own and It won’t be the last. My kids absolutely love it. They love Minecraft so it held their interest immediately. As ever, a great quality product from a trusted brand.

I got this as his friend has it and he’s been asking for the last week for one. He managed to build it with his friend and they’re seven. The instructions are straightforward. It’s the usual Lego quality so everything is strong and sturdy. There’s a. Lot of animals in this and they’re usually more expensive so I was surprised this was 17.99. I expected it to be more. The fox is really cute and a must have set for any minecraft Lego fan. Another one to add to his display

With it’s strange boxiness, this will appeal to Minecraft fans but probably not others. Although compatible for building with other standard Lego it doesn’t fit a mix and match with, say, City.
That aside, the Minecraft fan in the family loves this and got stuck in to build as soon as I handed him the box. Young lad managed without adult assistance, following the pictorial manual plus his experiences with Lego previously.
Lego quality means durability and the toy will survive for years to be passed on. Do go to the Lego website, click on Support and download a free e-manual as a precaution to losing the paper one included in the set.

My 6 year old loved it and built independently
This set is based on the foxes in Minecraft. Means nothing to me but my son loves it. At 5 he can play Minecraft but not build this type of Lego (or chose not to) but he did build the included characters – some orange guy and a green guy (Creeper I think). There’s a couple of orange foxes (one small and one larger) and either a wolf or white fox – I’m not sure.
Anyway, there were only 2 packets (plus a smaller one in packet 2) in this which Daddy (moi!) put together in record speed, taking around 30mins to assemble. It’s quite nice with the house looking like a large fox.
Targeted for 8+ I reckon an 8 year old should be able to put this together themselves or with minimal parental assistance.
My son really likes this new set from Lego, The Fox Lodge, he has been eagerly awaiting the release and saved up his pocket money, I think he wished they had released this before Christmas then he could’ve placed it on his Christmas Wish List, oh well, Lego have a habit of releasing Minecraft sets just after Christmas, very strange.
Anyway, in this set are 193 pieces, takes about 30 minutes to build following the 39 building steps in the manual, which by the way, are clearly laid out and easy to follow, you also have a new feature in the booklet, a green line, spanning the two pages, with the ‘Fox Skin’ figure that moves along as you progress through the construction so that you know how close you are to finishing.
This set includes the following figures:
1 x Fox skin player (Not in the game)
1 x Drowned (Has made an appearance before in one of last years Lego sets, also in the game)
1 x Fox (Featured in the game)
1 x Baby Fox (First time featured in a Minecraft Lego set)
1 x Artic Fox (Very exclusive to this set)
Once complete, the set looks really cool and fun to play with, we have a removeable roof which gives you access to the furnace, crafting table and cake, in the next room is the bed and a plant pot, outside we have a bit of snow, water and some grass.
Did you know that the Artic Fox and Baby Fox were both released in Minecraft version 1.14 back in 2019 and are only making an appearance in Lego just now, the ‘Drowned’ mob appeared in Minecraft version 1.13, back in 2018. The map print that’s enclosed in this set is very new and unique, you won’t find that in any other MInecraft Lego set.
Overall, 17.73 is very good value for money and has made my son very happy, he gives this set 5 stars.
