Light enough to wear around waist and ideal for quick stops
Most of the time I use this along with a Kryptonite Evolution (which weighs twice as much) to protect my 1,500 bike because bike-theft is totally out of control within the M25. On its own the Litelok would deter most thieves with cutters or lock-pickers and when I travel outside the M25 I use the Litelok along with a lighter D-lock. I have observed people looking at the bike and seeing the locks I use and then moving on to an easier target so it is doing the job I bought it for.
I feel my bike is much more secure now when leaving it chained up and I have a better peace of mind. It is easy to use but perhaps not ideal for carrying with you though of course that will depen on how you intend to carry it, it doesn’t fit well in my pannier.
