This is an excellent gazebo. East to assemble. It has held up through Florida’s torrential rains and high winds and is completely waterproof. I’ve had quite a few other brands and this is by far the best.
Was able to work tent easily with a partner and solo. In a light, steady downpour starts to leak at the seams, especially where velcro roof ties are. Zippers are lightweight plastic – I’m not confident in their durability but they held up on initial use at an art fair.
Alles was man braucht ist dabei.
I had never set up one of these canopies before so I had no idea of what to expect. The instructions only cover the initial set up of the frame, so you are left on your own as to how to put the top and sidewalls on. The frame went up pretty easily, and installation of the top was intuitive. I did lower the entire structure one click so I could pull the top over the peak without getting a step stool. I am 6′ tall and it was a stretch. Once secured with the Velcro straps, the canopy looked pretty good. I raised it back up and for summer time use to shade you while working, that will be all you need. I am planning on using it to work on an old motorcycle, so I proceeded to add the side walls. One is designed to be a door as it has a zipper down the middle. It also has some toggle ties on the sides to hold it open. The side walls attach via Velcro strips along their top edge, and are further secured with Velcro straps that keep them tight against the frame. The panels zipper together, forming a nice 8′ x 8′ dry place in which to work. It took me about 30 minutes for the initial frame and top setup, then another 15 minutes to attach the side walls. The kit also includes four bags which are intended to be filled with sand or other material and secured to the frame to act as tie-downs. Finally there is some cord and stakes for windy conditions, and a wheeled zippered bag in which to store and transport the canopy frame and pieces. The wheeled bag is great for the frame, and some of the pieces will fit in a zippered compartment on the front, but the top and side panels do not fit inside with the frame. They have to be transported separately. I am taking one point off because I believe that the wheeled bag should have been sized with enough volume to hold all the pieces as one unit. Other than that small detail, I have been using the canopy for a few weeks now and enjoy being able to work outside without the rain and wind making things difficult. I will also use this as a shade shelter this coming summer. The size is great for small projects, or for a market booth, and the ease of assembly makes it likely to be used over and over. I haven’t checked prices on similar products so I cannot comment on the value, but I can say that the frame is sturdy, and the fabric used for the top and sidewalls is of good quality. The zippers work well, and the Velcro is plenty clingy without being overly difficult to undo.
Edit: I revisited the bag storage again and found that the side panels and canopy can be strapped to the frame assembly and everything can indeed fit into the bag. I am changing my rating to five stars based on this discovery. I used string but am going to get some endless loop ratchet straps to tie everything together the next time I use my canopy. Enjoy!
This is a good quality canopy. A little smaller than the popular sizes but very spacious. Its very versatile, i love that you can make it fully enclosed with just a slit opening in the front. It came with 4 Sidewalls, 4 Sandbags, 4 Ropes, 4 Stakes and a storage bag with wheels.
After using the product for a couple of months, I can say with confidence that this MASTERCANOPY 8’x8′ canopy is very nice. Here’s a quick list of pros and cons.
Pros:
– After initial setup, each subsequent setup is much faster. Setup time will also be impacted by number of people helping, but it’s generally not too long (15 – 20 minutes).
– Includes all sidewalls, stakes, weight bags, and tie-down rope. Sidewalls can be installed in any combination – just the back, just the back and one side, just the sides, etc.
– Frame is sturdy, should be able to withstand some inclement weather as long as you’re utilizing the tie downs and weight bags.
– Three height settings so you can adjust the canopy as you need to.
– Includes carrying case that has wheels on it for easy maneuvering.
– The tarps included with the item seem to be very high quality. They’re made of a thicker material and feel like they will hold up to the various stresses and strains put on them from regular use, weather, wind, etc.
– Light weight and easy for a single person to move around when it’s stored away.
– Great for outdoor events, tailgates, festivals, camping, etc.
Cons:
– Difficult to get setup by yourself. Need at least two people but would be best to have four. It can be especially difficult to get the top part of the canopy (the roof) locked into place before raising the legs up to their desired heights.
– On the tallest setting, when all sidewalls are on, taller people will have to duck to enter the canopy (I’m 6’3″ and the sidewall with the zipper door is a little too short for me to enter without ducking).
– Carrying case could be a bit larger to make it easier to put canopy away.
Overall I’m very pleased with the canopy. I’ve already used it several times and have been impressed with it every time. The few issues I have with the item are probably inherent to this type of item, so I won’t knock it too bad. I’ll give it 4/5 stars and would recommend to anybody else looking for a nice canopy to use for outdoor events.
The Tent is sturdy. Overall it’s hard for me to pop this up without assistance. The first tent I had collapsed in inclement weather. I had to get a replacement. This new one seems to be in better conditio
I recently purchased the MASTERCANOPY pop up tent because I needed a little extra shade in my yard for the summer and the side walls attracted me. I also only have a relative small hardscape so the 8×8 will fit while most 10×10 will not. Everything came inside the regular storage case that most of these canopies come with, however, do not expect to put everything back in after it’s all taken out.
Assembly was a bit challenging as there were no instructions included. When I took everything out of the storage case, there were 5 canopy like covers that were a bit hard to differentiate. After some sorting, I discovered which one was the top, and the other 4 were side walls. Once that was discovered, the assembly with no instructions began. Like most canopies of this nature, you first have to expand the metal frame which is heavy duty as the product entails. The trick is to expand it most of the way but not all of the way. If you expand it all the way, you will not be able to wrap the top cover on all 4 sides with the velcro. Once the top is attached via Velcro, you pull the frame all the way out.
This is where the first tricky part is. In order to lock it into place full expanded, each leg has a little clip that has to snap into place and it is quite difficult with the tension on all sides. You need to use some serious muscle to lift them up high enough to snap into place. Once done, you do the same thing to lift the whole thing up. If you have four people, it is very easy because each person can lift a leg at the same time. If you only have 2 like I did, you have to lift two corners across from each other, then after they are snapped into place, slowly scale the side supporting the canopy as two of the legs will be floating and very wobbly. After the other two legs were lowered to the ground and snapped into place, the entire canopy was very sturdy.
The walls are attached via Velcro and hang down. There are then velcro straps that can be used to secure the walls to the poles as well as zippers to connect the walls to each other. This creates a very strong and sturdy connection between the walls and the frame.
After I took down the canopy to store it, I realized very quickly that there was no way to put everything back into the storage case. There was only enough space to put the frame and the roof. The walls will need to be stored separately. Also included with the canopy are 4 sand bags (Sand not included) that are made to strap to the legs and hold the canopy down during windy weather. I ended up storing the wall pieces in the sand bags.
Overall the canopy is very nice and strong but a bit tough to put together with less than 4 people. When assembled, it does provide very good shade with the additional walls to help block out sun rises and sun sets. A strange quirk to the storage bag is that the wheels attach to the top where the zipper is to open the container. It’s clearly done by design but I found that strange. If you are in the market for a fully enclosed canopy solution, you will be happy with the MASTERCANOPY heavy duty pop up.
The fabric for the walls is thinner then the top canopy, but don’t seem like they’ll rip too easy (haven’t had it up in any bad weather conditions yet). Really easy to set up and take down, and everything fits nicely back into the bag without too much struggle. This will be a welcome addition to the camping gear.
This has been a great canopy so far. Sturdy and strong. Canopy material is waterproof and hasn’t given us any issues in rain. Kept everything inside nice and dry. Side panels are easy to use and a breeze to attach. They have zippers to attach to one another too. My only issues are that the height is not tall enough so anyone 6ft tall hit. This issue is my fault, I bought it in black and the heat radiates pretty intently and make it considerably hotter then light canopies. The inside should have been white like other ones on the market. Over all a great deal.
It’s great but if you live in a super windy area you will need heavier duty anchors to go with it. Ours got busted up with 60 mph wind speeds using the equipment it comes with
Canopy is well built. IE: All parts are nicely made and robust. No jagged edges or poorly fitted plastic. Fabric cover appears well made and has ample velcro straps to hold it in place. Nice touches like doubled fabric thickness in corners and where straps tie to the frame. Cover and walls fit perfectly, very carefully made. Pegs to hold tie down ropes are a bit weeny but bigger steel pegs took care of it. All in all, nice unit.
Used this at the Cape lookout Cabins & Camp, me and my wife were looking for something more heavy duty with sidewalls, this was the first time using it and we really tested it out the winds here 35mph and it did a great job and the Velcro used for the sidewalls was very sturdy through it all, We were very impressed! We didn’t have any issues setting it up everything was very much self explanatory.
I purchased this canopy for camping purpose. The assembly was not difficult, but it is better to set it up with 2 people because it’s a bit heavy. Since everything is pre-assembled, you only have to pull the tarpaulin over it when the posts are in place, and the canopy tent will be up in a short time. The quality of the canopy is very good, and you won’t feel the sun heat under it. Meanwhile, it comes with a storage bag, so you don’t need to worry about how to store it. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to all people who wants to have a nice and easy to set up canopy tent.
The tent arrived quickly in a very strong thick cardboard box I purchased the sides with the tent they slip on quite easily but will nit fit in the same bag as the tent. this was only slightly disappointing but it is a great tent it looks really nice I even had other vendors at the event I was at ask me where I got the tent so it’s a nice tent. The case is a nice heavy nylon with wheels very nice. I would buy this tent again.
Came as a full complete system. withstool some heave rain and winds.
Easy to assemble, comes with wheeled transport bag. Decent quality for the price
The canopy structure and fittings are made of good quality materials and the design is good. But, we used it for the first time this past weekend and many of the velcro straps that attach the fabric cover to the metal framework tore away from the cover in a mild wind. The velcro straps need to be reinforced at the attachment point.
Easy to assemble nice canopy but the navy blue faded within a month of being up. I have another navy canopy (different brand) that’s been up 2 months longer and has not faded.
I chose the color blue and also it was easy to assemble and did not need help; instructions was easy to follow; i would purchase again; so durable
Very good. Sides have zips. Was able to have a logo printed on it. Up and down very easy.
Se ve buena calidad. Good quality I wanna buy 3 more,, soo
I verry liked. Its better than normal small tenth. You can have to have normal bet inside and with huge space you can do everything. And for more its multifunction.
Overall, the product is exactly as pictured and was easy to assemble. The side walls are the correct size and fit fine; tent bag is sturdy quality; walls and canopy materials feels easy to clean.
**One of the fasteners fell out when sliding it out of the bag; couldn’t find the nut to screw it back in, but that’s not a huge deal. We did have to tighten about half of the fasteners on the top of the tent structure before opening out.
***I went ahead and gave the 5 stars instead of 4 because it’s totally possibly that it was simply a loose fastener and probably not indicative of an entirely faulty tent. I’m looking forward to using it this fall!
This canopy is very well made and easy to set-up. The case comes with easy to install wheels. The canopy is totally waterproof. Two of us put it up in minutes.
Very good quality. A little heavy but sturdy. Easy to open and use. After opening, it can be stabilized as long as it is fixed on the side. I use it in the garden. Shade the sun when I have a BBQ. Also, don’t have a BBQ inside so that the smoke can’t be discharged. It’s also good for shelter from the rain if it’s not very windy. Very solid product.
Un tout en un idal. Bon rapport qualit. Livr rapideme
Great fit just wish I could get another side wall with a zipper to open more than just the one side
I liked how easy it set up and used steaks in the ground as it was windy and did just fine.
I purchased this canopy over a year ago and it has been fantastic. However I did run into a snag about five months after I purchased the canopy. I live in Colorado and we had 70 mile an hour gusts, and during that window of gusty weather, one of the support beams on the canopy bent. Certainly with 70+ mile an hour winds I did not expect the master canopy to hold up as well as it did. Once the winds subsided, I took pictures of the bent support rod and sent it to master Canopy. They looked at the pictures and decided that rather than sending out some additional parts they actually sent me a completely new canopy to replace the original Canopy I purchased. That was amazing customer service and I highly recommend both this canopy as well as their fantastic customer service.
It has been five months that we have had the canopy on the patio.
The frame and the fabric are durable.
The fabric is waterproof.
After five months, it’s in acceptable performing condition and shape.
Nothing cracked, broke and stopped doing an adequate job.
Easily recommended.
Easy to set up. Wish it had a vent in the roof to allow air to pass a little bette
Gazebo assembly was easy.
Side Panels fit well.
Sturdy design, and made with good quality materials.
Good value.
Excellent Gazebo for family
I purchased this gazebo for my kids as my son’s birthday present. It was very speedy delivery and it was so easy to assemble, even though the children can help to fix it. It was perfect stuff at my garden for making extra spaces for the guest come to my house either for birthday party or family together. The gazebo was water resistant, so it suits all weather conditions. Highly recommend!
I live in rainy Portland OR and a previous canopy collapsed when the rain collected along the edges and pulled it down. I did a lot of research and selected this one. It’s tied down well, and not much water collects. I didn’t want to take any chances and I tried something suggested in the comments on a different tent – pool noodles to keep it taut. I’ve included pictures- works like a charm. I feel like this will last all winter.
Had an event with it. The weather was dreadful but the gazebo handled with no problems. Can see that it should be suitable for kids parties. We might leave it outside in summer but not the windy winter.
Extra space near to a garden room but unfortunately not so appropriate for winter months, saving it for summer. Quite easy to erect.
Easy to assemble although it was a 2 person job. Perfect for us, keeps the rain off, the wind out and the heat in.
Took less then 20 min to set up first time now have it down to 10 min !
A sturdy little tent which worked perfectly for my tarot readings at a farmers market. Definitely highly recommend it!
The weight bags that come with are key to help stabilize the canopy especially when the winds start whipping. Gave us time to take it down without losing it. Love the grey. Perfect keeping up three sides for privacy. And the 12 x 12 perfec
Very easy to put up, just follow the video instructions. Lovely peace of kit. Unfortunately customer service is very poor when we discovered a problem with the structure on our new Gazebo, they told us it was anyone’s fault but theirs. Any old excuse.
Very easy to put up, just follow the video instructions. Lovely peace of kit.
Nice product but had to return it as it was missing items. Will reorder down the road and make sure Amazon sends everything that was supposed to be included in my item.
Alles passt perfekt zusammen.
This canopy will serve its purpose, even though it is yellow (note: tan/beige house). Besides I can’t return it at this point because it is too heavy for me to take down, rebox, and take to UPS. Durability is yet to be determined–it is much lighter weight and more expensive than my previous Coleman.
The canopy is sturdy. In the wind, with weights on the feet, it did well. What I didn’t like was that the storage bag had a broken zipper pull and the poles of the canopy were dirty.
This was used 3 times and was the worst piece of junk I have ever purchased. The cheap quest and Ozark Trail tents are much more sturdier. This was set along with the 2 mentioned and a light breeze pushed the side arms in and eventually the metal bent. There was no opening in the top to let the air flow through.
*****UPDATE*****
After leaving my review Master Canopy reached out to me. They promised me a resolve to my issue. After explaining the situation, they have offered to send me a new replacement.
I did not expect them to do so but they did. A+ for customer service and standing behind their products. I’m optimistic the replacement will be sturdier, maybe I got a rare lemon 1st time around.
The Good
– Super easy set up
– very good material
– perfect size
– put this on my deck! Amazing results
– great quality
– very sturdy!
– water resistance is perfect as well
Summary: this canopy is great!
Excellent purchase, withstood a storm that blew in off the lake, everything stayed dry and in its place. Also retained some heat to make for cozy evenings. I just wish I could find screen walls to go with i
Love this unit, weekend before we put up a tarp took about an hour. This was up in no time easy easy to set up and sturdy, don’t think you can go wrong with this one it’s pretty strong.
I know that when I ordered this tent that it is 12×12, but it didn’t strike me how large that is until I unpacked the tent and put it up. I thought I might use this for camping, maybe put it over the picnic table or something, but it’s so massive! I don’t see this being a camping shelter, it’s more like an outdoor festival vendor tent.
While it is portable, it’s large to transport. The bag that keeps the tent together does have wheels which makes it a lot easier to move around.
I think one person could put it up, but it is much faster to have two people working on it. It goes up and collapses really easily – actually I was surprised at how well it works.
The tent I received came with three solid walls and four sandbags to help secure the four corner posts.
Others have said in their reviews that it’s not sturdy but I think it’s quite strong. It is definitely light enough that a strong wind will take it, but if you secure it properly all will be well.
For commercial purposes or more permanent setups in a backyard this is a really good solution for temporary shelter from sun or light rain. I wouldn’t consider it portable, it’s too large for camping, and it is a large item to store.
Overall, I think this is a good purchase if you have a patio in your backyard that you need to shade. Otherwise you might want something a little smaller and lighter.
A well constructed, easy to put up gazebo. We did have an issue with the canvas top not having any fixings to tie it to the frame, but this was quickly rectified by the supplier who sent us a new one. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.
This 12’x12′ tent is a quick and easy way to make temporary shelter from sun or rain, or to block the breeze.
The frame assembly comes in a wheeled bag, while the roof and walls are in separate bags. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough room to easily put the roof and walls into the wheeled bag. Also included are four tent pegs, some rope, and four empty sandbags that can be used for weights. There is an instruction manual included but it gives very basic instructions for setup, and doesn’t have images for some steps.
Set up is fairly easy, but you really need more than one person (you’ll need to peg down one leg if setting up on your own).
I recommend looking up a setup video for a canopy tent, as it will make assembly easier. Basically, you need to:
1) remove frame from bag, set on feet
2) slightly expand the frame (i.e. move kitty-corner posts away from each other)
3) put roof over frame, attaching corners with built-in Velcro pads
4) fully expand the frame
5) raise the truss supports at each corner post until they clip in place
6) extend each leg to raise overall assembly
7) stake down or weigh down each leg to reduce the likelihood of movement
To add walls:
8) attach Velcro straps to corner post
9) attach Velcro at the roof-wall interface
10) attach zipper to connect adjacent walls (if applicable)
Note that each wall is 12′ long, so they are all interchangeable except that one of the four walls has a vertical zipper down the middle of it. It isn’t specially marked but can be picked out easily by the white “hold back” cords at the each end of the wall.
The finished tent looks good, though I was disappointed that the truss running between corner posts seems sloppy, and doesn’t run tight along the edge of the roof (see photos attached). There should be an easy way to attach the truss to the edge of the roof to remove this slop. Aside from this, I’m really happy with the build quality this will be a great tent for occasional short-term use, but I wouldn’t leave it set up for extended periods of time — I wouldn’t rely on it to stand up to strong winds unless set up in a sheltered area.
The black colour looks great, and I ordered it to be resistant to showing dirt. Note that this colour does block a lot of light, especially if you use more than two walls. Heat also builds up inside quickly with more than two walls in direct sunlight. As a result, we’ll likely only use this with one or two walls.
Overall, I think this strikes a good balance of cost and ease-of-setup with sturdiness. I’d recommend it for occasional use.
[PROS]
Fully Assembled in 15 Minutes
Accommodates Small Gatherings & Supplies
1 Year Warranty & Lifetime Supplies from Manufacturer
[CONS]
Slightly Heavy for 1 Person (unless physically fit)
Requires Minor Maintenance (ensuring water doesn’t fit ontop for long periods of time)
[PRODUCT EXPERIENCE]
The Master Canopy was super easy to set-up and took me only 15 minutes to properly build the tent in the backyard as one person however, it was a bit heavy – if you are not physically fit/strong, I would recommend 2 people to set up the tent. I was impressed by how easy the set-up/instruction process was and extremely pleased with the final results.
The tent has enough room to accommodate small gatherings and maintain supplies, whether you’re having family over for a BBQ, or simply want to store some equipment, this tent will be suitable for almost any occasion. One thing to keep in mind is after it rains, if you find the top sinking a bit from the rain, it’s important to partially dissemble the tent once it stops raining to drain the top, as this will ensure stretching from the sinking water doesn’t get out of control and deforms the tent.
And finally, the manufacturer supplies lifetime parts, along with a 1 year standard warranty, in-case of any issues down the road.
I really appreciate how easy this was to set up. I got most of it done by myself in less than 15 minutes but in order to get eh roof popped up and corner legs extended all the way, I did need an extra set of hands. Over the last five decades, I have used several different types of tents and canopies. Every new one gets better than the previous one. Technology can be wonderful.
The design is much like other similar options, such as the Coleman popup canopy. The four lengths use an expanding accordion system that quickly deploys, and once the whole canopy is set up, they provide good stability. They also collapse quickly and then store away inside the rolling carrier tube. It’s this accordion kind of expansion that makes it so easy to get the top canopy set up without straining any material.
The material itself is very nice. It does allow for some stretch but is strong enough that we haven’t had any tears. I didn’t find a lot of loose threads around the edges where the walls come together at the corners and the main wall that opens up from the center. These fibres cleaned up easy enough, but it was annoying that I needed to deal with these things.
I like how the walls fasten to the top canopy with Velcro strips instead of zippers like the Coleman we have. This is much easier to put together, and in the event that something pulls too hard on a wall panel (kids!), the Velcro can be pugged off without tearing anything.
When completely set up, even with the walls off, the top section is fairly stable once the corner ties are in place. One thing that was irritating is that the kit comes with these tiny stakes that the ties get fastened to. They are too short and too flimsy. The four corner post bottoms have a small plate with holes in it that could have stakes hold them in place, but there were no stakes included for this. I had to use some that came with the Coleman.
The eight ties, two on each corner, do not have one of those easy slide tensioning plates on them, the kind of thing used on two-man camping tents. We had to (after getting some real stakes) try to tension and tie them off. This was painful compared to the Coleman setup.
I do like the storage tube. It’s more like a golf club bag with wheels. The base is quite well made, and the wheels are far more robust than I was expecting. All of the items slide into the bag easily enough, but I have to wonder why the side pouch which is made to hold the rolled-up wall sections is loaded from the opposite end?
The included “water” bags, as per the description in the instructions, do not hold water. The included paperwork shows some sort of a bottle in each bag, but there were no bottles in the kit. While this might work to hold the sidewall’s bottom flaps in place, a bottle can and will roll, so this may not be the best solution. We did, however, use them with sand, and this helps keep things more stable when the wind picked up.
Overall it’s a good canopy and better priced than similar options, and it will get better if the manufacturer makes a few changes.
I don’t know why people are saying this thing breaks? You need to put the steaks in properly and she hold up well. Nice material and sets up easy. Just make sure u take it down before a big wind storm it’s not meant to be left outside for months
The “MASTERCANOPY Ez Pop-up Canopy Tent Commercial Instant Canopies with 4 Removable Side Walls and Roller Bag, Bonus 4 SandBags (12×12, Black)” works well for us. It was easy to assemble with more than one person (we used 2), and we found that on a nice day, it provided good shelter from sun and rain (which we had both of that day). The weighting has to be done properly, and you really should stake it down (I’ve read the reviews that say it isn’t sturdy, but we had no problem with that with gusts up to 50km/h). Sandbags are a must and it is a good idea to put this canopy away if you are actually expecting very bad weather. We chose to use MORE stakes and have a heavier grade stake than what was provided, along with heavy weight bags, so we were happy with the canopy.
Really well made glad I spent more for a decent one like this.
This canopy tent was pretty easy to get set up but it’s definitely heavy and a two person job.
My spouse and I didn’t have much trouble getting this canopy set up other than it being quite heavy… it’s sturdy when put together. I love that it has multiple ways to use it with the walls being removable. I wouldn’t leave this out during any wind and I’d only use this during the summer months, it’s not something I’d be leaving up yearly. The material is supposed to be waterproof but I haven’t found a reason to test this as I’d bring it inside when I’m done with it. This is perfect for providing shade during hot days although the black colour does attract the heat.
Overall I’m happy with other this canopy, it’s big and spacious while keeping me cool.
I have used and owned a variety of lightweight and heavy weight (industrial) tents and you often get what you pay for but to get good stuff with thicker/heavier materials and rugged frames, you are often looking at North of a $1000 dollars. This tent slots more in the middle of the 2 extremes (cheap vs. overly expensive),at a price point that I will say here and now, is a very reasonable one.
This tent comes with a number of features that will make you appreciate it’s design and versatility.
– tie downs to secure it to other objects or pegs.
– sand bags to help weigh down the tent.
– removable side panels (use none or any combination of the 4 sides.)
– accordion style structural frame
– water proof material.
– WHEELED storage bag for easy transport.
Drawbacks:
– setup can be done by a single person but 2 people is highly recommended – imo.
– the black color attracts daylight, try to get some other color than black.
– the tent is quite heavy (wheeled storage bag is a very welcomed feature)
– like all tents, water accumulation on top, at the bottom of the slope and the frame, will cause extensive stretching of the material. This phenomenon can be mitigated or eliminated all together, in various ways. (See YouTube)
Ours has been up through 2 severe thunderstorms and another a pretty windy day so far, during the last week and it didn’t suffer for it at all. I make sure to open all the side walls, if it is to be left up for a couple of days, to ensure that it does not trap wind and tear itself apart or take off.
Any of these tents, when left in the sun for weeks or months on end, will dry, fade and tear. These are “pop-up” shelters and are not meant to be a full time features or structures. Used as designed and looked after, this tent will last a long time.
Based on how this product is meant to be used, the quality of it design and construction and priced as it is, this is a very good buy indeed and I definitely recommend it.
We used this for our yard sale and it was a great help! Highly recommend this canopy, at least for temporary shelter.
My one complaint is that the roller bag doesn’t have room for the roof or sidewalls — you will need to figure out your own storage solution for those.
Overall, this is a great buy!
Very convenient portable canopy. I can fit the frame and all the fabrics into the bag provided. Storage bag with full of items did not take too much space at all. Light weight so one man can carry it without a trolly even. Easy to assemble took me and my wife less than 10 minutes to set it up without too much effort. And took me less than 15 min to de-assembles everything by myself. No anchor needed when we had just normal wind in the back yard. With such easy assembly I will not leave it out permanently will just set it up each time when needed.
Didn’t have directions so it took a bit to figure out. Don’t know if they forgot them or what. It had directions for wheels that attached to the bag to pull it along because its built well but heavy. Got it set up and fastened to the deck in front of my seasonal camper. Parked my golf cart in it for now, but got it to block the sun that hits my deck around 3:00pm. So far I like it and would recomend it.
Fantastic product. Instructions are a tiny bit unclear but when you look at the actual kit it’s easy to assemble – I did it myself and I’m a 5’2 woman. Completely waterproof, we had it in several heavy showers over the course of a whole day and nobody got wet. Comes with sandbags to make it extra sturdy. Lots of Velcro bits so if someone accidentally leans on the sides, it doesn’t rip. Easy to take down. Comes with a wheelie bag so you can transport it. Couldn’t recommend it more!
When I put the green cover on it looked great. As I pushed the legs back to repack it in the carry bag . The plastic center at the middle of the tent snapped. I was wondering if I could get a replacement. Thanks
Yes, as promised in their slogan “be the master of your life” – I am just that. Easy put up, stayed up all winter in Seattle through covid to offer rain and snow protection while social distancing outdoors, still looks brand new. Best covid purchase by far!
Great for porch, gives much privacy and is easy to install
Just what we wanted! Easy to erect and provided shelter from the Easter wind! Good quality. Good storage bag. Very happy.
Great quality. Very handy case, the weight does not hinder the wheels at all. The walls attach quickly and easily. I had no issue assembling the entire thing alone.
It’s withstood a rain storm and strong wind without issue. I absolutely love it.
Just set it up in about 5 mins with my partner – found it to be of good quality for our needs.
I searched through a lot of listings and different options to find something to cover our firepit. I have been very happy with this tent. It is relatively easy to open/shut with only one person. It seems very sturdy and hasn’t blown away using the sandbags that came with it, even though we don’t have a place to stake it down.
Having sides is a huge help and benefit for our use (sitting by firepit when its raining).
The only issue I had is that I bought it to use in the rain, and if kept out in the rain, water does pool on the top.
Once that pooling starts, it collects it will stretch out very quickly. After I saw this happening, I solved this using pool noodles (in shape of a U ) put between supports and tent in each corner to keep the tent taut so rain doesn’t pool. Since I’ve done that I have left it out in one of the wettest Januarys in Seattle in a long time. No issues. Even though I had to slightly mod this I’m giving it five stars because I expected it wouldn’t be able to be left outside in rain without slight modifications, and even with those was not expecting it to hold up as good as it has. So for the price, this canopy was great and exceeded my expectations.
Set up was easy, the instructions could have been better detailed but I was able to figure it out.
We bought these for our scout troop. Each patrol has one. It takes a bit of time to set up ( it that might be the scouts). This size is huge! And will fit 5 or 6 scouts on the edges for social distancing. We were using these for our meetings outside in western Oregon until we went on shut down and had to move to zoom.
