Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are great, only used them once but they worked perfectly, larger branches stopped them but anything unto 5-6mm was fine. Battery lasted to cut 20 metres of bushes and didn’t show signs of losing charge. Overall a great bit of kit.

They are cheap and cheerful- don’t compare with pro level tools that’s a waste of time. Good for small pruning jobs on plant stems up to about 5mm. Then just need proper shears for the remaining tougher stuff.

I bought the trimmer mainly for trimming a small hedge. It is lightweight and does the job well. I also like the grass cutter which I have used in confined spaces. A good buy.

Love this tool. To safe the faff of getting the large hedge trimmers out, I can just do a quick tidy up with this.
The grass edger is so easy and cuts right up to my sleepers perfectly. Also shrub maintenance is so much easier.
The hedge trimmer attachment is great. Have to be very conscious of safety because you hold it with one hand.
I recommend this as a quick and efficient way of keeping on top of the garden maintenance.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy long rechargeable hedge cutter is too big and powerful for me. Have to rely on my son. My new mini toy is compact but cuts the scraggly shoots on my hedge really well. No shaking arms after too. As a senior I would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat for cutting a leaves back on hedges and twiggs ets. Did try a cut a bamboo hedge but it just jams up and stops, it did start cutting it pretty well but started jamming, maybe it was running out of battery or I’d blunt the blade. Good for the money, would have gave it 5 stars but you have to hold down the trigger and it kills after a 10mins.

This is lightweight so easy to handle. Won’t do heavyweight jobs but just the thing to trim my hedges and leaf growth but not the thicker branches. Not sure about longevity but will update after 12 months

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOriginally ordered a Bosch at three times the price but when it arrived I realised you also need to order the battery and charger separately. Ok – my fault for not realising “battery not included” – but never have I felt so disappointed and cross with myself! I repackaged and gladly dispatched it back to an Amazon locker within the hour!
I think my husband was sceptical when this arrived but this has done amazingly well trimming some very unruly bushes. I have done over 3 hours this morning on one charge. It tackles thicker branches better than I expected
Definitely wear gloves to protect from blisters. Also advise tying some string to secure the red safety switch to the handle in case a branch snags it into the bushes! Only had it a week so can’t comment on longevity but so far I’m very pleased and eyeing up other bushes for major surgery!

Pretty good value, will have to see how long it lasts, the gearing mechanism is plastic and I suspect it will wear out quite quickly. It is also quite noisy and cannot cope with damp grass. Design could be musch better as well. That said, for the money, it’s ok, just don’t expect too much.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI wanted to cut back some bushes in the garden. Great for this as fairly lightweight and easy to manoeuvre even for little me. You do have to go back and forth a bit as the bush stems moves about you get to them, but looks pretty good. For hardier bushes with more twig like areas, it cuts out when it gets caught on a thicker part so is less smooth and not great on hardier bushes. Easy to operate – my teenager managed the higher parts I couldn’t reach without much difficulty.
