I won’t lie, it’s expensive! But, is it value for money? Hard to say…but, now that I use it, I enjoy my coffee for much longer. Don’t feel the rush to finish the coffee before it gets cold. However, when I take this to my class, it fails me after an hour. It’s when I am at the desk that I enjoy this product most. My only oversight is that I didn’t go for the larger size.
Not easy to set up initially. It does keep drinks warm/hot and it is quite a good gadget overall.
Die Ember Mug2 ist ein wunderbares Produkt fr das Homeoffice. Die Heizleistung ist ausreichend, um den Kaffee angenehm warm zu halten, sobald man in ein Meeting vertieft ist und nicht mit trinken hinterher kommt. Die Akkulaufzeit knnte noch erhht werden, wobei das dass einzige Manko ist. Die Tasse hat ein angenehmes Gewicht. Sie liegt nicht zu schwer in der Hand und fhlt sich auch nicht an wie Billigplastik.
Insgesamt ein sehr schnes, ausgereiftes und hochwertiges Produkt, das ich jederzeit wieder kaufen wrde.

It’s a simple product. It’s a mug that keeps your coffee or hot drink at an exact temperature, and for that it works perfectly. I can’t comment loads on the battery life, because I work from home so I permanently keep the mug on my desk on the coaster. For that though, it is great. I’ve never had an issue. I’ve forgotten about a coffee for a few hours and come back to it, and it’s still perfect drinking temperature. It can even warm up a cup of milk or soup up to a nice drinking temperature (although this will take about 30-45 minutes, so plan in advance).
It’s overpriced, but if you have the cash spare, and have a need for this, then you wont be disappointed.

Le meilleur c’est quand j’oublie que j’ai pas fini mon caf, et que je retrouve la tasse et ie commence a boire et a garde exactement la MEME chaleur d’il y a 2 heures.
Peut etre dramatique dire mais a m’a rvolutionn le matin au travail: le plaisir et la satisfaction d’avoir mon caf constamment chaud au bureau me calme.
Pour moi, cette tasse technologique vaut clairement le cot, parce que j’adore le caf et j’en bois constamment, et le soir des tisanes, donc je l’utilise toute la journe et soire. Je recommande VIVEMENT!
Always letting my Coffee or Tea go cold whilst reading emails, checking texts, watching TV or just forgetting to drink it! If I had read all the negative reviews I might have thought twice about buying it. On offer with Amazon, at 40 off list price, I thought why not!

Time will tell how it lasts. This is v2 of the mug & the smallest. It holds as much tea as a normal mug, so no need to pay out for the larger version as far as I am concerned.
Very neat design and very Apple ish in looks. Packaging is very much Apple too. All worked right out of the box. Supplied with interchangeable plugs for the charger. No idea about battery life, but my mug is currently on 67% charged and kept tea hot for the last 30 mins. Really pleased with my new gadget!
Ich habe mir jetzt nach 3,5 Jahren einen neuen Ember Mug bestellt, da die Batterie des alten Bechers nicht mehr hlt. Das ist aber bei tglicher Nutzung und fast durchgehender Ladung auch irgendwie nachvollziehbar.
Zwischendurch gab es mal Probleme mit der App aber die letzten Versionen waren eigentlich alle recht zuverlssig. Ich nutze die App aber sowieso gar nicht, da ich einmal meine gewnschte Temperatur eingestellt habe und der Becher diese behlt. Der Kaffee ist also immer gleich warm.
Ich kann den Becher gut empfehlen. Auch nach Stunden ist der Kaffee bei mir noch warm (wenn der Becher in der Ladeschale steht). Da ich manchmal vergesse, dass ich mir einen Kaffee gemacht habe und dieser dann frher kalt war und man ihn weggieen konnte, ist das wirklich jetzt praktisch.
Der Becher lsst sich gut reinigen und ist einfach zu benutzen.
Very useful product as my hot drink always goes cold. This mug keeps my drink at the temperature I want all day when I’m at my desk working. No complaints!
Beautifully packaged and a very stylish product all round. Cleans easily just like a normal mug, I don’t use a dishwasher so I wash and dry by hand and pop straight back onto the charger. I like to take my time drinking a coffee and have taken an hour with the mug holding my chosen temperature until the last drop. This is now the only mug I use.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Tasse und kann bis zu zwei Stunden heien Kaffee genieen, ohne sie laden zu mssen. Nachdem ich die Tasse am Schreibtisch ohnehin aufs Ladepad stelle habe ich eigentlich nie ein Akku-Problem. Die Tasse an sich ist richtig gut verarbeitet und fhlt sich sehr hochwertig an.
Ob es dem Preis gerecht wird kann ich nicht sagen… Eine Tasse fr ber 100 Euro wird wohl niemals ein “must-have” sein.
Die Tasse ist sehr gut hat jedoch einige Mngel mit denen man leben muss.

– Akk funktioniert sehr schlecht bzw. bei manchen Handymodellen gar nicht. Firmware der Tasse somit gar nicht mglich bei mir.
Tasse kann jedoch ohne App genutzt werden. Es kann dann aber nicht die Zieltemperatur eingestellt werden

I waited and waited before buying this product as the price seems extreme considering it is essentially a mug.
However, I couldn’t be happier. Whilst it still is a lot of money (my friends clubbed together and bought it as a joint birthday/Xmas present for me) the fact is keeps drinks at exactly the right temperature throughout any meeting/online call etc is ace.
You can set a variety of temperatures depending on preference and it will heat a drink up from cold e.g. saves wasting a lot of tea gone cold.
Off the charger it will keep a drink hit for about an hour and a half.
It is expensive but I think it’s worth it.

I leave it on the charger sometimes I don’t quite understand why it’s flashing red even if it’s been on there a while but generally it works.
Slightly tricky to clean but no big deal.

das Firmware update fr die tasse hat nach stunden erst geklappt und nur mit einem lteren Smartphone, hatte es mit insg. 4 verschiedenen probiert..
am nchsten tag konnte ich nicht mehr verbinden. muss neu koppeln. jedesmal neu koppeln ist nicht schwer aber ein kleiner unntiger extra schritt.
verbindung wurde bisher nicht unterbrochen, aber bisher nur abends benutzt.
Kleines Update: von 3 auf 4 Sterne, da man die App zwar braucht aber sobald man einmal die Temperatur eingestellt hat, diese eigentlich nur noch braucht falls man die Temperatur ndern will.
Tasse erkennt sobald man was heies reinschttet. Hab die manuell aber immer ausgeschaltet und auf den Untersetzer gesetut. da ich mir nicht sicher bin ob die Tasse spter abschaltet wenn diese leer ist.
Hlt meiner Meinung nach sehr lange warm und hat mir ansonsten bisher super gefallen.
Wegen dem Preis aber nur knappe 4 Sterne meiner Meinung und tendiert fast schon eher zu 3.

So I took the plunge and bought the Ember 2 in black. First thing is that it does what it is supposed to. I now have my coffee at 57 degrees c for as long as I want. You don’t appreciate every sip of coffee being at the temperature you prefer.
Then the quality. The mug is lovely to hold. And whilst you hold it your coffee is not cooling. The app is easy to set up. It feels great, looks great and adds to the coffee drinking experience.
Now if only it worked through wireless charging like my iPhone, it would be perfect. I guess that will be the Ember 3 at some point.
The best way to value an item like the Ember is the cost per drink. Given drink a mug of coffee 4 times per day everyday, if this lasts me three years that is 2p per mug of coffee. 2p per mug for a perfect temperature and experience. Think what people pay for a coffee machine and coffee pods.
Just outstanding. Does what it says on the tin, does it very well. Battery lasts more than long enough for me and the coaster is unobtrusive enough that it fits on my desk giving me infinite time if needed to finish that cuppa.
Yes, pricey indulgence but I think in terms of time saved, the additional amount of liquid I’m drinking and net comfort/ happiness it more than pays back.
Improved over previous version. Worth the money for people who only like tea when it is hot. App is good, and product works as stated.

I like how this keeps the drinks hot but need to find out how to prevent a skin forming on top of the drink.

Avec les enfants il est compliqu de boire une tasse entire la bonne temprature, en gnrai juste la moiti les bons jours.
La elle permet de conserver suffisamment longtemps une temprature choisie la boisson c’est top.
Elle est juste un peu limite niveau contenance quand on veut une grande boisson, mais bon aprs avoir bu un peu je complte la boisson et cela rchauffe suffisamment pour que la temprature remonte celle choisie.

Very very impressed With this mug it doesn’t hold as much as a normal mug hence why it lost one star but it really is amazing and saves me keep heating up cold tea in the microwave
