Smart Socks
The Owlet Smart Sock comes with two sock sizes, and a right and left sock for each size:
- Size 1 fits babies up to 12 lbs.
- Size 2 is for babies from 12 – 30 lbs
Smart Sock Sensor
Sock sensor uses pulse oximetry to get readings from your baby’s foot while they sleep. A small light shines through the skin and the amount of blood flow and oxygen levels are estimated based on how much light is transmitted to the sensor
Base Station
The Sock sensor collects data and sends it to the Base Station. The Base Station notifies as needed based on the data sent from the Sock.
The Base Station is your primary notification device in the event of a red notification and as such should be placed in a location where you can hear it if it sounds.
HD Video Camera + App
Stream secure, HD video from the Wi-Fi-connected Cam right to your smart phone.
Owlet’s free baby monitor phone app gives you real-time notifications and tracks your baby’s heart rate, oxygen level and sleep trends while streaming HD video.

Uso lo due pecche:
1- la base deve essere sempre collegata alla corrente e nella stanza in cui si trova il bimbo, questo scomodo perch bisogna spostarla di volta in volta
2- anche la webcam non dotata di batteria. Avendo la casa su pi piani sposto la webcam a seconda di dove mi trovo. Ho risolto collegandola ad una batteria portatile usb

So I’m a new mum and a stresser. My Dad’s twin sister passed away from sids as a baby. So I feel like I would constantly worry if I didn’t have this. We weren’t sure it was working at the start because it never went off until one night my babys oxygen levels went down one night due to being really congested and it went crazy with loud siren noise flashing red lights from the charging port and phone. I can now rest in peace without worrying.

It’s so assuring to know our baby is breathing properly while we are not around her. Having lived through a viral respiratory illness in the first weeks, can’t promote enough the importance of an oximeter.
The only thing to mention is the squished screen ratio when the camera feed is put to full screen.
Notre petite fille a eu des soucis la naissance et nous avons investi dans cet appareil de surveillance.qui a permis de bien rassurer les parents et ainsi de passer des nuits plus sereins.
Certains commentaires parlaient d alarmes intempestives, nous n avons jamais eu de soucis , ca fonctionne avec une appli sur le tlphone et c est facile de visualiser rapidement si tout va bien , et puis aprs il y a aussi de statistiques sur la qualit du sommeil de bb.
De plus nous avons eu besoin de faire appel au service aprs vente, et la socit a vraiment t au top du top.
C est vrai que a reprsente un cot mais vraiment c est sans regret et on recommande tout les futurs parents
So far so good. We love our owlet set! It definitely just gives you that extra piece of mind!
We purchased a previous slightly cheaper baby monitor and the set up was awful, wouldn’t connect to wifi and readings wouldn’t show up on the app. So we bit the bullet and brought the Owlet, it’s only been on one night but already I’ve had a much better sleep. My baby is 5 weeks and has pretty bad reflux, he is sick in his sleep a lot and nights are spent of him choking and me having to roll him onto his side so it can come out. Last night I slept 85% more peacefully knowing I’d be alerted properly if anything was wrong with him.
The set up of the sock didn’t even take 10 mins and it was on him right away ready for bed time! Easy to put on and he is a wriggler and it stayed on all night.
The only downside is the oxygen and BPM low limits are set too low for my liking and you can’t change it. I’d like to be alerted way before his oxygen drops to 80% and BPM drops to 60. Would be 5 star if these levels were editable.
Overall I’d go for this investment again and again. We can use it for a good while on him and hopefully future children too.
Brought this as a gift but I haven’t heard of a single issue yet! Perfect et for looking after you baby I was especially sold on the ankle monitor I think it’s a fab feature
I used this mainly for the sock heart rate and oxygen monitor and it has brought us some peace of mind which is invaluable
Haven’t used the camera as much but tried it and it works.
We brought this camera for our newborn who is now 3 months old. Overnight we put him into his basket in our bedroom and whilst sat in another room we have crystal clear live image of our son who is sound asleep. This comes with a sock monitor that helps monitor baby’s heart rate, oxygen level and sleep trends and brings a massive piece of mind when it comes to his health whilst asleep.
The smart sock and camera link directly to your phone using WiFi and you can setup notifications to inform you when oxygen levels decrease to dangerous amount or even if they just drop a little and the same with the heart rate, it constantly monitors all through the night. Any issues and your phone informs you immediately.
My partner had issues with not sleeping so that she could keep a close eye on baby however with having this camera installed it really has made a difference. She sleeps better knowing that if any problems arise she will be informed.
Design – The camera itself is robust and is the best designed camera I’ve seen on the market. Most feel like cheap plastic which feel like they will break easily. It mounts onto a 360 degree magnet ball which allows you to turn the camera to any angle with ease. The kit also comes with trunking that you can piece together to your desired length with corners included allowing for a nice clean installation and also safe without having cables hanging.
Few notes – Comes with a spare sock for heavier babies (Came in handy for us).
Long wire for the camera so can be placed more freely around the bedroom.
Charing base for the sock sensor is quick and easy to use.
I received this product a week ago and I have been testing it on our newborn baby for the last week. The product is packaged well and setting up is easy by downloading the owlet app and following the instructions. The camera quality is great in both daytime and nighttime using the night vision which changes automatically. The socks which strap to your babies foot is made from a nice soft material which is good to the babies skin and causes no irritation. Fully charged the battery in the sock lasts about 15 hours which is more than enough to last the night. The sock gives you live feedback of your babies oxygen levels and heart rate. If any of these go beyond the limits you get alerted on your phone through the app but also on the docking station which you keep at your bedside. The camera also monitors the temperature of the room your baby is in so you can make sure the baby is comfortable throughout the night. The audio feedback from the camera is very clear but the only downside is if you want to talk from your phone to the camera using the 2 way audio feature the quality is not that great and sounds crackly. This for me though is not a big problem because if I want to check on the baby or if there was any problem I would go to the babies room anyway. But to monitor the baby and listen then the product is very good. You also get extra sock in two different sizes and for both left and right feet so you can swap them around while washing a previously used sock. You also receive both European and Uk plugs.
The product is a little on the expensive side but if it allows you to monitor your baby throughout the night and alert you if there are any problems then for me it’s well worth it.
We got this monitor for our newborn. She is currently 13 days old and we have been using it since she came home at less than 24 hours old. I love it as the sock has definitely given me some reassurance when she is sleeping, even though she is right next to me I find it great to be able to look at her breathing and oxygen levels.
The sock is easy to fit and has a good battery life. She has kicked it off once or twice but that was the first couple of times we were using it so I think we just didn’t have it on right. It fits well under a sleep suit.
The camera has a really clear picture and I like that it gives you room temperature also the only downfall I find is that occasionally it loses the connection when we try opening it on our phone, generally it comes back quickly enough. For now it hasn’t bothered me as I’m usually only nipping to the bathroom etc as otherwise in the same room as our daughter but maybe it will when she is sleeping all night in her own room. On w positive though even when the camera loses connection the sock doesn’t so I still know she is ok.
Overall I love it and while expensive it eases some of my anxiety at bedtime and allows me to get more sleep too
The video quality is good and clear, there is a short delay between the live movement or sound and it happening in the video. The camera will sometimes need a reconnect or reset especially if unplugged for a long period of time (few hours). I cannot find any way to change the temperature reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius only a how too for IOS users which tells you to change your phone setting to Celsius. The sock is a very good peace of kit for peace of mind for your new born but as your child get older past about 6 7 months I think you would only really use it if your child was under the weather and you wanted to monitor there stats. Over all a very savy piece of kit but fairly expensive. Great for first time parents.
So I ordered this baby monitor and sock set for my 2 months old baby girl. I had heard alot about this baby monitor. Honestly, it took me a while to get used to this system. The sock needs to be placed perfectly, in order to be comfortable for the baby. It does shows accurate readings. And track the sleeping patterns dn heart rate and oxygen level of the baby. The good thing is that the socks comes in 2 different sizes. So you can switch to the bigger size when the baby grows. The camera quality is really good. The night mode is clear too. I do feel that this is a bit complicated baby monitor and it would be much better to watch tutorials before using it.
I’ve really loved this camera, although the set up was a little difficult. It took a while to connect to my phone but once it was sorted it automatically logged in on my tablet and other devices which is great so no matter what device I had I can check the safety of my baby. It has a fantastic temperature monitor and is discreet so fits in well on our nursery. We have used command strips temporarily to keep it up and due to it being light weight has been perfect and secure. We love that it comes with self adhesive trunking to keep the wires safe too. It’s so easy to manoeuvre when we need to. Would recommend to any new family’s or anyone looking for something different to monitor their baby.
This is amazing and give you great comfort while your baby is in there cot through the night,the camera it self has great picture quality and the sock which senses the heartbeat gives you good confidence while your baby sleeps.

Excellent product, well packaged only problem is I want the wire going up the wall not down and the way it’s designed with the trunking includes doesn’t allow it very easily

We love it. The set up was really simple – after reading some reviews we were expecting some difficulty but it was so quick and easy. Video quality is excellent (day in colour or in night mode) and it’s so convenient how it comes through to our iPhone and iPad.
The sock gives us such a huge piece of mind especially with a newborn and the baby isn’t in a proper sized cot yet. With so much choice when it comes to monitors in the UK, we’re really glad we’ve gone with the Owlet as we get the video/ sound element as well as the oxygen monitor and it’s all excellent quality.
