I’ve never seen the likes so it took a bit of time to figure out.
Once it did it was so simple and it tightens by using a cross head screwdriver from top!
Lastly… Both lid and seat close slowly, so banging lkis a thing of the past.
In hindsight, I’d expect to pay double the price for a seat of this quality.
A BIT LARGER THAN MY TOILET BY 1CM BUT COULDN’T FIND ONE EXACT SIZE AND IT LOOKS FINE . VERY STURDY AND GOOD FINISH
Seems strong. Comes with 2 sets of fittings for different sized holes – I needed the smaller 12mm which are hard to find. Really easy to fit and stays put when fitted and tightened properly, even with 20stone sat on it! Don’t waste your money with overpriced seats, just check if the measurements are right for your toilet and buy this.
Over the last 3 years I’ve bought 2 of these toilet seats, and got my sister to buy one too.
The first 3 purchased were great.
They had good quality fittings, and the seat seemed solid, noise free and easy to clean.
This latest seat has all plastic fittings that go thru the holes in the loo instead of the plastic/metal ones on the previous purchases.
The plas/met combi made the seat really secure. This all plastic bit doesn’t seem as good.
The seat itself has also changed and not for the better.
It crackles when moved up and down, sounds like it’ll break.
Also the old type had a full round cylinder which made it easy to clean. The new one isn’t the same, it has this weird gap that everything will find its way down there.
The latest seat itself just feels different, and not in a good way….I can now understand why there are so many negative reviews now, as the old seat was quality.
Most toilets are squeezed in on at least one side and this makes accessing bolts underneath quite challenging. The fact that this seat installs from the top makes it so much easier. The seat is well made and sturdy. Final note – it wasn’t until I saw this seat that I realised the previous one was the wrong shape. This is oval, which is correct, but many seats are “D” shaped, meaning that they stick out at the back. It looks much better having the correct shape so I would double check before ordering.
The only thing I did not like was the fact that it was not made of wood.
I deliberately search for wooden seats and of the list Amazon presented to me it seemed the best.

I have not scored installation as I have not yet fitted it.
I am a lady of a certain age and fitted the seat myself. The instructions that came with it weren’t very clear and I have no idea why 4 grommets were supplied, when only 2 are needed. Firstly, I tried fitting the seat with the grommets on the wrong way up, then the right way up, but no good. I finally realised I had to put the grommet into the hole and screw into that, rather than below the hole and bringing it through, if you see what I mean. Until I properly tightened the bolts, it was unstable, but, when fully tightened, it now works very well and is staying in place wonderfully! Very pleased with both the seat and myself!!
My impression after fitting and using for a few days is that I’ve purchased a good quality seat. It feels sturdy and the soft close works nicely. A little bit of patience was required when fitting alignment wise but it was worth it. It is certainly a better quality seat than the one that came with the toilet originally.
Difficulty in tightening screws keep coming loose not as sturdy as my previous one
Bought one similar to this a couple of years ago. A lot cheaper, didn’t last long. It was nowhere near the quality of this one and certainly not as comfortable as this one. This feels in every way far superior, I recon it’s got to be good for at least two chapters in your average book! Very pleased and definitely recommend. Oh, and the delivery was really quick.
Toilet seat it self is ok but fitting clips is horrible and better to looking to somewhere else. Personally I found some clips in B&Q and both ar works brilliant.
Was concerned after reading previous reviews but this product is great – took maybe 10 mins to fit (7 year old wanted to help) its sturdy and looks great!

Seems a very sturdy toilet seat, but was a right pain to install. If it is not lined up exactly right it will not click into place.
Easy to install. Love that you can easily remove the seat to give it a good clean. There was a little cosmetic damage but my issue was resolved quickly and efficiently with the seller.
The seat is of reasonable quality for the price. As long as you follow the instructions provided, the seat is quite easy to fit. Make sure you use the largest plastic screw plug supplied that you can – please note it takes a bit of brute force to insert it into the toilet bowl holes – if you use the smaller ones which don’t fit tightly the seat will pop out of the fixings when you lower it. I used the 2 larger plastic plugs which work well. The seat doesn’t move around so far which is good. The soft close works well (don’t expect it to fall quickly as it has to go slowly to avoid it clattering down)

Near silent closure. Not the sturdiest design. Tricky to align with basin. Single button press for quick release and deep cleaning is a bit tricky to. So discouraged from taking it apart too regularly as feels flimsy
I’m in my 60s and for most of my life have wondered why loo seat fittings were such rubbish, hard to fit, and always end up wobbling. Finally I found a system that actually works, is much easier to fit (after a bit of practice) and has a bit of room for adjustment because no two loos are the same shape and size. Also you can easily remove the whole seat to clean the loo and pop back on afterwards in seconds. Take a bit of time to make sure you measure the loo and get a size that is nearest to yours. Although there is room for adjustment it is surprising how many subtle variations in length and width there are. I have bought more since my first to gradually replace other loo seats and hinges around the house.
Our old seat was quite heavy and the kids have dropped the seat down a few times and nearly got their fingers caught so we changed it for this one and I’m glad we did. This seat was the easiest one to fit that I’ve ever done, no problems whatsoever. The button to clip the whole seat off is perfect for cleaning and replacing the seat in case you break it somehow. The soft close seat is great for kids to use as it’s very safe and lightweight so no slamming down with a loud bang or kids crying because the seat has dropped on their hands. Highly recommended.
Simple to fit and its nice to have a soft close seat! Takes some getting used to when lifting as there is some resistance, but overall pretty good.
Hard to tighten the seat down so it won’t move around. But like the idea about the lid coming down. You don’t have to hold on to the lid.
The plastic this is made from is solid. Seat is very easy to install and the release button (to take the sheat off for cleaning) works well. The slow close is very slow and there is resistance then lifting the seat, which you don’t get with more expensive products, but it works well and is a good replacement.
It’s a bit of a lightweight product, but for the price it’s good value and easy to fit and maintain..
Really good product & even though we measured it & according to the product details it should have fitted the original toilet. However this was not the case but I was able to use it for another toilet. Good, clear instructions & very easy to fit.
Easy to install and nice to be able to clip off the seat for cleaning. The lid is not as sturdy as the one I replaced. This may be because it needs to be lightweight for the soft close function. Still, I would be worried to stand on it to open/close the window in my bathroom.
Not sure what any of the negative reviews are about, this is by far the easiest toilet seat I’ve ever installed. It took me longer to remove the old toilet seat with the nuts on the super long screws than it did to install this new one on. Easy to align, very secure, looks simple and nice as far as toilet seats go, feels pretty comfy and sturdy when I tested it out. Good soft close so no more slamming down. Pretty happy with the purchase. Would recommend.
Good product and well packed. Installation okay but when top fixing make sure that the screws go all the way through the plug so that it retracts the bottom half of the plug to grip the toilet basin from below. The instructions could be clearer on this point; failure to do this means that the seat will be loose or even pull out the plug completely when the seat is lowered.
This seat was a little fiddly to fit, but nothing insuperable. The only tool needed is a Philips head screwdriver. The seat is easy to clean. It is also quite comfortable. The only caveat is that the soft close mechanism is very slow.

Replacement for similar type whose soft-close mechanism had failed. Feels pretty solid and arrived very well packed. Slightly fiddly to install as instructions in small type in multi-lingual leaflet. Once correctly aligned seat clicked on support posts easily.
Not quite as comfortable as old one due to narrower width of seat and sharper inner curve.
We’ll see how long it lasts.
Very easy to install, good clear instructions and is very secure and safe. Well made and seems good quality. Two sets of 2 plugs supplied, one set will fit the holes in your toilet, one set won’t. Follow simple instructions and enjoy. Lining up is a bit fiddly but I found if you tighten one bolt a shade tighter than the other before fitting seat for adjustment you can then manouvre it into position. Then carefully tighten the one you have used as your guide before lining up the second one and securing tightly. Tip, tighten firmly but do not overtighten or the metal bolt thread could strip the thread in the plastic plugs. Finally put the chrome caps on and fit seat onto fittings. I would definitely recommend this product and have just ordered a second one for downstairs loo.
Replacement toilet seat chosen because of what looked like easy top fixings (previous one’s bolts kept falling out). It’s a well-made seat with soft closure, but the instructions aren’t great. Poor translation (from Chinese?) although guessable, and fitting diagram not clear. I was probably being dim, but couldn’t work out why I would need four plastic plugs, or whether/how they should be tapped into the fitting holes in the toilet pan. I ended up ignoring them and using the wing nuts from the old seat, which hasn’t been a problem so far.
Finding a toilet seat that doesn’t loosen and slip after a short time has finally happened. This toilet seat is the best I’ve purchased. This is the second one I’ve bought the first one a few months ago. The first one bought is as solid as the day it was installed. Installation is so so simple. This is the first toilet seat that I haven’t had to contort myself getting under the unit to tighten the hinges in place. The whole unit can be fitted from above and easily tightened and so far there is not the slightest loosening of the hinges. As for cleaning just push the silver button and the lid lifts off. Great product can’t recommend it highly enough.
This toilet seat appears to be good quality. I found it quite difficult to get the seat in it’s correct position, as you had to tighten the bolts fairly tight to stop them from moving when you take the seat off to do the final tighten, as you cannot tighten them with the seat fitted. It would have been better for the screws to have Allen key heads, so that you could still get at them after fitting the toilet seat.
I am a totally blind individual and I have to say that I never like to install anything usually. I have to say that I was anticipating a lot of problems considering that some of the reviews I have read have pointed out one or two things that seemed a little worrying to me. Anyway, all that said, I took everything out of the packaging, carefully laid it out on the floor in the lounge and started to work out what goes with what. Anyway, installation seemed easy enough, although, as I have said, being blind makes things a little slower to do. Now that I’ve installed the toilet seat, it seems really sturdy and looks like it’s going to last. That’s what we want after all right?
I managed to fit this seat in about half an hour. The instructions are fairly clear, if a little small in print size. There is a video included in the product description also. I would have given five stars but the product should come with two different sized plastic plugs and I got 3 of the larger size and 1 of the smaller. Luckily I was able to use the larger ones. What else can I say? It’s comfy to sit on! It closes nice and slowly. It will be easy to clean as it comes clean off the loo.
I did a lot of research before buying this loo seat. The previous one was excellent and for it’s price (7) from a Swedish blue & yellow shop lasted for 8+ years.
This seems like a good substitute but it was tricky to fit. If you have a new modern loo pan then I imagine easy peasy. My loo is probably the original one fitted when my house was built in 1970, the area where the holes are for the seat fittings is not level, it has a bevelled area. Therefore when attempting to click the seat on before tightening up the fittings- no chance. We had to pack up one side of each fitting to make it level which solved the problem. Be aware you may need to do this if you have an old fashioned loo. Other than this issue – all good. Instruction booklet images could be a little bigger for the visionary challenged amongst us
The fitting instructions make it look so straightforward but it wasn’t for me.
It took a while to line up the seat correctly (it was fiddly) but got there in the end and very happy with how the seat looks, feels etc.
My mum was is need of a new toilet seat so I bought her the same one.
Unfortunately the plastic fixings didn’t fit the holes on her toilet properly (one didn’t fit at all).
Luckily she hadn’t thrown out her old seat yet so I used the fixings from that instead.
Thankfully that worked out and the seat is sturdy in place, otherwise I would have had to return it.
My frustration concerns the pin with right angle tightening nut. I didn’t check the diameter before purchasing regarding the hole size require as the existing seat was still in place.
When I tried to put the pins through the existing holes on the toilet base I found they were marginally too small. Although I tried to open the holes a little it was still was impossible to get pins through the holes. Rather than send toilet lid back I decided to change over toilet lid with another in second bathroom only to find that the depth of the hole prevented the locking mechanism from turning to its right angle position so it could not tighten. I then tried it on the downstairs toilet were it did work do I landed up moving three toilet lids just so I could fit this design. Although quite a good design it is clearly not suitable for all toilets, I would suggest that minimum depth of hole is specified.
I have to admit, I had some trouble fitting at first, because after I got the plugs fitted in the holes at the back, it still kept sliding around. What the manual doesn’t clearly show is that there are some clips you have to pull out before you tighten the seat down, which allows it to actually grip the toilet. This makes it sit flush and solid without any movement.
After I figured this out, have to say my trips to the bathroom have been a lot more pleasant than before. That seat is big and comfortable, and also has a good sturdy feel to it. It is also easy to clean, as there are two buttons that allow you to pop the entire seat off at the base, which is an ingenious design!
It is really good value, and definitely worth it for me. Just ensure you get the right seat that matches the shape of your toilet.
The installation should have been simple which relied on an expanding plug (item 4 on the installation instruction) being inserted into the ceramic bowl then screwed tight by a screw from the top however the expanding plug is to large for the UK ceramic toilets
The expanding plugs & screws can be replaced using the old Toilet seat fixing screw & thumb turn, perhaps a smaller diameter expanding plug could have been provided for UK toilets if so I would have given it a 5 star rating for once fitted it’s an excellent purchase

They are easy to fit and are adjustable for any normal UK toilet,
