This fan is amazing, the air may not be very strong but it is easy to carry around, easy to operate and all around a great fa
I needed something quickly as it was getting hot and this has exceeded my expectations by a big margin.
Good – it works well even when very hot and all the advertised features do what they say.
The slight negative is on full power it is a bit noisy, not overly, but it got left on lvl 4 most of the time.
Great to have next to the bed at night. The oscillating function is a bonus as not all smaller fans do this. The air cooling is ok, but I found the fan works well enough without needing that feature.
This fan has really helped in the recent hot weather, not too noisy, and putting ice in the top with water really makes a difference, would recommend.
Already have a basic air cooler, but this one is so much better. It oscalate,s brilliant timer for setting at bed time plus has more fan settings. Drops room temp down by alt least five deg, makes the room feel comfortable.
Simple buttons easy to understand, very powerful and not loud at all. Would buy agai
Very good compact Air cooler, i am quite happy to have i
This has been a great help in the recent extreme weather. It does what it needs to do. A good value solution to surviving in a non AC environment. The fan is strong but not too loud, the rotation feature works well and the water container with some added ice lasts for several hours even on high.
Whilst it doesn’t fully cool the whole room like an installed AC unit would, it does make a big difference
Plugs into any standard USB port PC TV socket adapter etc.
It’s a really good little fan. But the display is a little bright and cannot be turned off so not ideal for a bedroom.
Excellent came in very handy with the recent hot weathe
Honestly this fan is really good and it was a life saver on during the clammy weathe
Got this a few weeks ago. Does exactly what it says on the box. Not air con but certainly cooling and refreshing.
This is a big and versatile fan for under 20. It works well, although the mist function is hardly detectable. The rotating function works very well, as does the general touch-screen operations. There is even a blue nightlight and timer function. The weather hit 40.3C this past week and no ordinary fan, this included, can be very effective in such heat. On ‘ordinary’ hot days, this fan gives off a good cooling breeze at different strengths – at a touch of the screen! Nestled on my bedside table, this is a good bargain for a low price.
Liked it. Works like it’s says. It’s Quiet enough. Dint disturb my sleep. Brilliant auto switch off. Enough speed to keep you happy. My opinion value for money I spent.
I found this product as a affordable cooling option for the infamously hot summer nights of the UK. It doesn’t cool the whole room, but blows steady stream of cool air that helps falling asleep. Slightly noisy, but on the upside it doesn’t leave a hole in your pocket. Good value for money.
I’ve bought a few of these for kids rooms, our room and living room. Packs out a good amount of cold air! Highly recommended!
It works so well. Set the speed and turn on the spray. No you don’t get wet. Just cold air. Love it.
Arrived very quickly, simple easy set up. My room is about 24ft by 14ft and you can feel the difference within 10min.. it’s good as it oscillates and as quite a power kick. My room as a big window that’s about 5ft by 6ft so it’s like a large magnifying glass and the room gets like a sweat box. So I can’t live without these days, it’s not loud and as a timer .. it’s a good all round buy and I would recommend it to others.
I would recommend this product in no time!!!!!!!It is incredible in small spaces!!
This fan is smaller than I expected, so it is more of a table fan for 1 (or two) person rather than a fan for a whole living room. Having said that, it has more features than a normal table fan. For example, the 70 degree oscillation, this is a great feature that allow the wind to spread rather than blowing to one place only. A lot of table fans don’t have this feature.
It has 4 wind power to choose from. The highest one gives out rather strong wind and it is relatively quieter than other table fan.
Also it has the cooling feature which you can add water / iced water to the top tank and it will give out cool air of mist. Well there are other small fans that also have this feature now but to be honest I don’t really like it because I don’t like the wet.
The fan has touch controls and a useful display. However, it doesn’t have remote control, which means you need to go to the fan to control it. The power cable for me is too short, I have the USB port on the wall but this limit the place where I can put the fan. I will need to buy a longer one or use an extension power socket with USB port. Price is a bit on the high side. The strong wind and quietness is its advantage.
This is a nice looking fan.Its actually very quiet and it can spin 70 degrees so you don’t need to move him all the time.on top it has a container that holds water and ice if you want a bit more cooler. The control buttons are touch sensitive. It is easy to use and my son love it and he keeps it in his bedroom.Oh and also has a light as well which is great for my sons room.
So we’re getting glimpses of the hot weather coming and fans have their uses but this has the added benefit of the water being poured into the top (even ice cubes if you want to) and varying levels of mist being spread by the airflow around the room
I use my own usb-c cable rather than the supplied on since it is already plugged in and set. You can also take this out into the garden or park and run it off a power bank too
It has timer functions if you want it to turn off when you’re asleep etc
I did a lot of searching the web for a cool fan and I definitely chose the right one. With water and ice in the tank the fan blows lovely cool air but it will need a hot day to really try it out. The touch controls are very easy to work and the fan runs very quietly. It is quite compact and has a very nice appearance as well.
This is a great compact fan.
It is really powerful and pretty small in size.
It can powered by 5V/2A USB port and comes with USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.
I personally use my own USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and power bank to get it working and it works without issues.
With power bank you can use it everywhere that you want and even when you go out for picnic or on the beach.
The fan has 70 degree Oscillating ,which is really useful when you want to cool down the whole room and you don’t want it to work in just one direction.
Another good thing that you can do is to fill up the tank of the fan that is on the top side of the fan.
Most other similar fans have drawers that you need to take out to fill up, while this one has a cap on top and you can take the cap off and fill it up with water.
Also for warmer days you can put ice cubes inside the tank and get even better effect.
When you turn on the additional cooling option of the fan it starts spraying mist of the water/ice tank to cool down the air.
This means that it is good to be careful regarding the direction of the fan when it is spraying water/ice as it should not be against electronics and other things that should be away from water.
The fan has 4 speed settings and I personally use it mainly on number 4 as I prefer faster cooling.
The fan also has settings for timer, but I personally don’t use them as I keep it ON or OFF.
Overall a really good air cooling fan that is currently on a price of 42.99.
The price is kind of okay for what you get, but slightly on the high side.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
This looks really stylish. It doesn’t take up too much room on your desk but it still works well. The oscillation speed is a bit slow so if you are really hot and sharing the air it does take a while to get back around to you. There is a usb lead included.
May 2022 Update
Just wanted to say, as the weather is getting hotter I am totally loving this fan. It is very quiet, strong and it blows more like a breeze than other fans. Clearly says the level it is on and I mostly only use the first out of four.
Like many others, I’ve been working from home for the last year or so and I’ve adapted an upstairs room into an office-space. I have a window in the room but I find the noise from outside is quite distracting, so I don’t open the window, meaning the room can get a little warm and stuffy. This portable fan has therefore been a godsend, it is quiet and produces enough cooling air for me to feel more comfortable while working.
My wife likes using it at night too, if the temperature gets too warm, so I would definitely recommend it.
This is lot better than expected it looks well made and is very smart looking so fit into any room. The fan has carry handle and touch screen controls. It’s not large but packs quite a punch blowing cool air out and with added option of been able to add ice or water to cool air further.I think this would be great for summer and will probably use in kitchen as get very flustered when cooking in hot weather.Very quiet as well, big thumbs up and recommended
his is a small portable air cooler you can use it three ways as a normal fan or you can add water and it will evaporate as mist cooling the room or you can add both water and ice cubes has various speeds and spay motions and it is Oscillating. powered via a USB this is small compact and easy to use. this also has a touch screen display. this works great and we are planning to use it this summer in our caravan.
At the time of review the weather is really cold (around 0 degrees at night) but I tested this Portable Air Cooler Fan, to see how it works.
Firstly, the built quality looks very good; the plastic used doesn’t look cheap and the base is stable which is a good sign.
The fan has 4-settings and the strongest one is quite powerful for what it is. The digital display is easy to use, responsive and very clear.
I love the handle which is very practical. With the timer settings I could use it during hot summer nights, and I could even add not just water but ice to make the fan cold. Can’t wait to use it in summer.
Nice fan, very portable. it’s small enough to go on a large desk or on a sideboard or cupboard or counter top in a kitchen and I like that you can add water/ice to cool the air down further. this is going to be such a life saver come summer time. the fan’s not massively nosey but it is noticeable in a quiet room. it’s USB powered so you can use a USB power bank or plug it into a socket with a plug adaptor.
This fan is something else. I have tried it on ordinary setting, and also with a light mist. Ice water will have to wait for a heatwave! But it’s a lovely bit of kit, extremely well made, and stylish enough to fit into any decor. The price is great for an item of such good, solid quality, and I’d recommend this highly.
Although this fan by ROMYSE is a bit more expensive than some others — currently around forty pounds from Amazon — it does offer some additional features many others don’t have. As well as a general purpose four speed oscillating fan this model also allows you to add some water and/or ice to get a humidifying cooling air-conditioning effect. This fan is USB powered and comes with a suitable USB-A to USB-C cable which can be plugged into a phone charger or, for portability, a power bank. This model can oscillate through 70 if required and has simple touch controls and a clear display to make using it straightforward. We tried it during the recent warm weather and it worked well — hopefully we will have a hot summer to test it further but for now we rate it with five stars for features and performance at the price.
I’m a big fan of this fan. It’s small enough to be portable, has great looks, and performs well.
Adding iced water to the mix means the air is cooled even further, and the oscillations allow for an even distribution of chilled air.
A classy, well-made product.
To be honest when I ordered this product I wasn’t expecting much. But I really like it! I know it’s small and therefore would only cool one room down but boy in British summer time wouldn’t that be great. It has a touchscreen for its controls and a carry candle for the top. There are so many different modes for the product, different fan speed strengths, cooling strengths, oscillation etc. It’s so clever how it works, put some water in or water and ice for an even cooler experience and it syphons it down into the fan so it cools the air. Genuinely really impressed by this product. Also it looks great on the side and doesn’t take up too much room.
The short review version
Good fan but has the added benefit that if you want to add water and/or ice you can.
So basically it cools like a fan with a bit of added delisting which also helps a lot.
The fan itself is strong and powerful and not very heavy.
I’ll give this 4 stars as you could simply mist yourself anyway then put a fan on yourself.
Hope that was quick and helpful
It’s hard to judge this compact unit fully in March in the UK. It certainly does produce a comfortable air flow for anyone reasonably close by, though.
It doesn’t chill the air in a room, of course, not to any appreciable degree the way a proper air conditioner would. Still, the fan itself is a good one, and quieter than some (at least on the lower speeds). It produces a welcome, cooling breeze.
Add iced water to the tank on top of the unit, and the breeze becomes more effective, chilled and humidified by the water. I’d treat it as a personal cooler although it would be fine shared between two people reasonably close to each other, especially given the 70 swing.
The cooler is easy to use, with good instructions, responsive touch controls and a useful display. It’s lightweight and takes little space. You’ll want to put it on a stable surface though, because the water tank can make it a little top-heavy when full. The timer may be useful, especially if you want to use it when you go to bed.
The supplied power cable is USB-A to USB-C. It isn’t much more than a metre long, so you might need to replace it with a longer one of your own. You’ll need to supply your own USB-A power source such as a phone charger.
It’s hard to be sure, until we get a hot day to try it out, but I feel a bigger fan without water may be almost as effective as this and save fiddling about with water. Or you might even prefer to use a dehumidifier to dry the air instead of having more humidity added. This does work, though, making the air stream feel cooler if you’re in its path. It’s worth a try, at the current 40.
This is a surprisingly powerful unit – and pleasingly, it manages to deliver that powerful performance without making a great deal of noise.
Set-up is straightforward and the fan offers good levels of functionality, including variable power settings, oscillating option and a timer function.
If you are thinking of buying a new fan, then this is worthy of consideration over the more conventional style of fans. It looks quite sleek by comparison and delivers a level of performance that you would need a larger conventional fan to achieve.
I hope you find these insights helpful.
This Air cooler fan is very easy to set up and use, simply remove from the box plug in the USB cable and turn it on using the front touch panel.
It has four speed setting, all are very quiet so ideal for a bedroom. It is fairly compact too so easily sits on a table or desk. The fan features are swivel, adjustable speed and an auto off timer, a light which illuminates the water container, water spray for additional cooling. The water spray will automatically turn off when the water is almost empty.
In general a very good fan, highly recommended.
Portable Air Cooler Fan
I have had a couple of similar air cooler fans in the past, they have worked well but I’ve always found them to be a little too noisy. That’s not really a problem during the day time, but at night it can be hard to sleep because of it. This particular model appears to be a step up, it is not totally silent in comparison, but it certainly is a lot quieter, especially on the lowest fan speed. To be honest, I doubt you are ever going to obtain total silence when you have a fan spinning.
The build quality of this is certainly better than the existing models that I have, although to be fair they were cheaper models. This is made from tough white ABS plastic which looks good and appears to be quite sturdy. I like the design of this, there is a large round vent on the rear with a similar larger round vent on the front, with the fan set between the two. This ensures that air flows freely through the unit with no restrictions, end result is less fan noise than other designs that I’ve tested.
On top of the unit is a water tank, this can hold water alone or water that contains ice cubes for extra chill on those extra hot days. I have found a traditional size ice cube is a little too large to fit through the filler opening, so crushed ice or small cubes are best. The idea is that a small amount of moisture will cool the air as it passes through the fan, any excess water is caught in a pull-out tray on the base.
There are a series of touch sensitive buttons which control: Power, Fan speed (4 speeds), Rotate, Moisture control, Timer and Illumination. There are 4 fan speeds available, the lower settings are reasonably quiet which I don’t find an annoyance at night time. The unit will slowly rotate from left to right if you wish. This can be used with fan only or cool the air by touching the moisture button, water with ice included will provide the coolest air flow. The timer can be set anywhere between 1-8 hours. On top of the unit is a leather strap which makes it easy to move this around.
I do like this, it is far better than other similar models that I have as this model doesn’t really affect my sleep. It’s not totally silent but the sound emitted from the fan is acceptable to me, especially on a hot sticky night in bed.

Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
Well, it’s not the right time of the year to properly review this fan, but it’ll certainly be getting plenty of use later in the year.
This works really well and is surprisingly powered by a mere 5v usb cable, which is included (usb-c). You can therefore power it via a powerbank, mains adapter, computer or pretty much any usb port that can handle 2 amps.
The fan is nice and quiet, even on the fastest setting and there’s zero noise from it rotating.
The touch sensitive screen is simple to understand. It’s also no glaringly bright either. There’s also a blue light illumination for the top.
There’s a water chamber on the top that can be filled with cold water, or should even accommodate I’ve cubes to make it freezing.
I’m really looking forward to using this when the weather gets hotter. It’ll be a life saver on the hottest of days.
Very nicely packaged, perfect for a gift. Hairdryer of modern fashionable design. Good size, doesn’t take up much space. It looks small, but it is powerful and does the job well. Works silently. It is very convenient to use, easy to carry, has a comfortable handle and is very light in weight. I advice!
Both of my fans put out a fair amount of wind, but neither do the coolness thing this does so effortlessly..
It’s very light for its 28 x 19cm size, and looks attractive with the responsive touch screen controls at the top and the optional blue light. There are four wind speeds selectable and you can use it in a static position or with 70 rotation. Timers are available too, with 1,2,4 and 8 hour options, although I must confess that personally I never use timers on this kind of appliance.
Where it really comes into its own though is when you fill the tank at tha top with water and select the ‘spray’ option – this performs similarly to an aromatherapy diffuser, feeding mist down behind the blades from an opening at the top left: there are 3 different levels of mist and all emit an invigorating coolness – this would be great for hot summer days (if we had such things in Britain). Before you ask: no, you can’t use essential oils or scents inside the tank – this is stated clearly in the well-written and illustrated instructions as anything glutinous could cause clogging of the outlet.
Although it doesn’t mention this in tha instructions, I remember in the product description it said that you could add ice cubes to the water tank for extra coolness and it really does make a difference, although be aware that once they’re in, they’re in – you’ll have to wait for them to melt unless you’ve got mad skillz at those fairground grab things and a very small pair of tongs – I actually achieved this, but with an awful lot of profanity..
It’s USB C powered (cable included) and can run off a phone charger, laptop, power bank etc. although NOTE: it says on the box ‘Power Bank rechargeable’, and I think this is a bit of a semantic slip: it can be POWERED by a power bank, but there’s no internal battery so can’t be charged or recharged.
A light, portable attractive and above all COOL machine, love it.
