Great compact heater. Warms a room quickly. Small enough to be stored away during the summer when not needed
This is a great wee heater and doesn’t cost too much to run. Delivery was quick too
ive had this now for a few months to keep my bedroom warm during the winter as bills where rocketing ive only just turned it off never have had a problem with it delivery was quick price was right a absolute bargai
Neede to heat the house quickly as the boiler lew up, this was an ideal solution, easy to use and efficient.
After reading reviews for this item, in which a number mentioned heating a room with no installed heating, I decided to purchase the item as that is exactly what I needed it for. It was to be in an unheated kitchen in a 1684 built house, where we cannot get normal central heating run into the kitchen. The kitchen was always ‘freezing’ and influenced other areas of the house that the door led into. This heater has transformed not only just the kitchen, but also the heat in other rooms. The kitchen used to be so cold to go into, but no longer. And it prevents the cold that used to come from the kitchen into other rooms. I could not recommend this item enough. I am looking at purchasing a second one to go into my home office which also struggles with heat. If you want to warm a room then look no further. I have no idea how much this costs to run, but it certainly does the trick for heating.
For a relatively small radiator, this packs quite a punch….easily heats up an average sized room very quickly, which is exactly what I wanted (if I leave it on for 10 minutes with doors and windows closed, when I walk back into the room the heat hits me like I’m in a tropical climate)….highly recommend
I have used the product only in the low power setting, and is able to heat in a short amount of time a small room. The thermostat works very well. Very easy to set up and use. I am happy to recommed this product.
Works ok, doesn’t keep at 2.5kW the whole time – drops to 1.4kW after 10 mins or so.
Bought this to heat my kitchen as its the coldest room in the house. The reviews really convinced me because they said it was energy efficient and heats up fast also that rooms get very warm quickly.
It does take the edge off the cold room but warm it up, no, not by any stretch did it warm my kitchen up. Also takes a while to heat up. Finally it is so expensive to have on, my smart meter rockets up when this is switched on. If I could go back I would not buy this and I would not recommend it for the reasons stated here. This was a very expensive mistake expensive to buy and expensive to run. Not worth the money.
Good heater that takes the chill from a room with no central heating.
I bought 2 of these heaters and they have saved me from a poorly insulated 1930’s semi. I absolutely love these and they pump out so much heat. I would highly recommend them!
Does exactly what it says, could do with a handle on the other side to manoeuvre when hot. Otherwise great produc
I bought 2 of the Pure Mate Oil Filled Radiators, one in August and another in December, last year.
I liked the heat output, the sleek design and the easy manoeuvrability of it.
However, after 6 months, the plug of the first one became faulty. I contacted the company, and immediately they made arrangements for the replacement of it. They organized the courier that was to pick it up from my house, and the very next day when they received it at the factory, they sent by courier the replacement one.
Needless to say, I was very impressed with the efficiency and empathy with which they handled the whole operation.
Very grateful for it and I highly recommend it, both, the brand and the company behind. Many thanks!
An excellent heater, gets very hot and heats a whole room.
Very useful. And produces expected heat. Only crit is that to move the radiator I would have liked a (cool)handle at both ends. With only one cool handle I always have to use an oven mitt to move it.
Use mine to heat a 20ft x 8ft outdoor office and works a treat even in UK winters. Had an issue about 6 months in, and contacted customer service who were very quick to reply and help solve the problem.
This is a great heater. I got it for my bedroom 8nstead of heating the whole house when I’m in bed. It gives out a lot of heat and is so easy to controll. My bed room is 17ft by 10ft and it heats up a treat. I’d reccomend this.
Well packaged and delivered on time. Takes the chill out of the room. Not disappointed at all and well worth the price.
This beauty belts out some right heat. I’ve always only had it on setting 1 and we’ve a very large king size bedroom. Plus the thermostat reaches its temperature and knock off. Probably costs 15p per hour on setting one. A lot better than turning your central heating on – for example: we would turn our central heating on, up by 1degree and after 15-20 mins it would go off, the rooms would go back to freezing and it would cost a pound if not more.
I have to say, I am extraordinarily impressed by the level of customer service I received from this company. I originally bought this product in November 2022. Initially I was very pleased with this radiator. Arrived on time, was delivered on 20/11/22. Easy to assemble, good heat output, looked smart. However the timer function has to be reset every time the radiator is switched off at the mains, which is a bit irritating. Unfortunately it stopped working after 7 weeks, only had it on for a couple of hours each day on a low setting. Tried changing the fuse etc, with no joy.
Obviously it was very disappointing. I left some feedback to outline the situation. Within a couple of days I had been contacted by the seller, offering me two hassle free options on resolving the issue. I’m pleased to say, that within a week, I received a new unit delivered by courier and was able to handover the faulty unit to the courier to return to the seller. The new unit works a treat.
I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, so I have revised my feedback to reflect the outstanding customer service I have received from this company. I can’t thank them enough for making the process so smooth and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend this product, and would certainly recommend this seller to anyone else who appreciates a company which puts customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business.
Once again, thank you very much for being a 5 STAR seller.
With the gas prices rising this was my only option to keep warm during the cold spells. It packs some serious heat.
It’s easy to move around too.
Bought to heat our conservatory and it easily does the job even on the lower settings. We have quite a large unheated conservatory and this brings the temperature up nicely even on the lower settings. The timer is a little fiddly but works well once set, I haven’t checked the electric usage but we use it on a timer for short periods on quite a low setting.
I am very pleased with my oil filter. Unfortunately there is a dent at the side of it.
We purchased this oil radiator to save on gas for central heating, it has not been disappointing. Has three settings to suit your room size. We definitely noticed the warmth when it was -5 and were really pleased on performance, in the worst case. It has maintained the gas bill really well. We also used the timer when we we in the room for a few hours… Would definitely recommend this product, a worthy purchase.
Nice little heater, could do with a longer power cable but heat output is good, timer is analogue easily knocked so timer is often “OUT”
In the U.S. our standard electrical outlets are 110 volts and 60 Hertz. That limits a portable heater to about 1500 watts for our wiring and circuit breakers. But all of our homes have 220 volt circuits – but they are used for clothes dryers, hot water heaters, and kitchen ranges. I added some 220 volt outlets, initially for heavy-duty power tools used for remodeling our home. But that gave us the option to use 220 volt appliances from Europe and England, like a really nice Swiss espresso unit and this 2500 watt heater that I ordered from Amazon UK. It works great and heats a huge area very efficiently. I don’t use the timer because our 60 Hertz current would likely not work properly for a timer designed for 50 Hertz.
Heat output really good, heated up quickly, timer is a good feature ensuring it is only on when you are likely to be using the room. Very pleased with it as an additional heat source.
Bought for portable, economic heat, particularly in the conservatory. So far am pleased. Heat gets lost from the house through the conservatory, and I turn the central heating off during the day. The timed radiator on low to medium during the day reduces hear loss from the house, and takes the chill off, making the conservatory pleasant to sit in. Not sure yet of cost, but others say used sensibly its ok [whatever ok means these days].
EASY TO ASSEMBLE..LOOKS NICE..EASY TO OPERATE..ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE HEAT OUTPUT ISNT THAT GREAT..OK FOR A SMALL ROOM
Like many others, I’m scared to use my gas central heating just now as it’s so extortionately expensive, but my medical conditions are aggravated by being cold, so I decided to give this heater a try. Initially, I wasn’t sure whether it would be enough to properly heat my large living room – 28 feet by 14 feet – but I needn’t have worried. At full power, it doesn’t take long to heat the room, and then I reduce the heat via the thermostat and power level to maintain my chosen temperature without any problem. OK, you’ll have a bit of trial and error to find your ideal temp as the thermostat has no markings, but that’s easily accomplished. I haven’t tried the timer yet as I’ve had no need to, but it seems easy enough to do. Like any radiator, it holds residual heat after switching off, as well.
As I have a smart meter, it was easy to compare costs between this radiator and my gas central heating: at full power, this heater costs just under 2 per hour, and my central heating, set for 19 degrees (active in only one room) costs 2.80. At the lower power setting to maintain temperature, the heater averages 90 pence per hour, at approximately 18 to 19 degrees. Ok, we’d all rather it was even more economical, but with energy prices at their current and remorseless highs, for me, it’s a definite win. At least I don’t have to sit shivering any more, as this heater makes warmth affordable again.
Great heater. Pumps out a lot of heat quite quickly. From cold takes about 5 minutes before big heat storm is obtained. Haven’t tried out the timer yet.
Attaching the wheels was the tricky part for me, as the instructions aren’t all that clear, but even I worked it out.
Packaging-wise, it’s a very large but thin cardboard box with two polystyrene things to keep it in place. Luckily the polystyrene didn’t break into those annoying tiny chunks you sometimes get.
Great radiator bought this for a garden pub , heatings great , timer works well for economy great customer service from supplier as well
Product wheels were very easy to fit. Timer relatively easy to set up but think the ‘current time’pointer should be at ’12 o’clock’ and easier to read.
Bought three of these to turn off gas central heating radiators in bedrooms. We have solar panels so trying to use them more effectively. Not sure how successful that’s been yet but they heat a bedroom very easily.
Nothing to dislike, looks good & most importantly does what it says & a good price too
Within minutes of receiving my order, I ordered a second of these radiators.
It heats up in a couple of minutes after plugging in, and gives off much more heat than I ever would have imagined.
Left it on the medium heat setting for 5 minutes in a cold bedroom, and the room went from unpleasantly cold to warm and cosy.
The timer function is great, I no longer have to wake up to a stone cold bedroom.
Best thing I have purchased in years. Wish I’d done it sooner.
Whilst the radiator did what it was supposed to, the timer being a great additional feature. The radiator started smoking so we turned it off and contacted the company. Although the warranty was expired by 12 months the company went above and beyond and exchanged it without question. Fantastic!!
Set only to the medium and put on the timer, it’s a great heater. Quiet and heats very well. Very happy with my purchase.
A quality product, great heat output, and easy to move between rooms. Will put my electric bill up, but saves on the gas central heating. Can heat individual rooms where working rather than the whole house. Timer essential too.
Good product. Allows you to set a timer to come on and off which works well for me as I get cheaper electricity at certain times of the day. Gives off a decent amount of heat, even on the medium setting.
I live in a small studio flat which is all electric. I didn’t want to run the heaters in the property so bought this oil filled one. It basically emits enough heat to warm the small space I live in.
Two things would improve this though – a longer electrical cord (it’s quite short!) – and a less fiddly way of setting the timer. My eyesight isn’t great and when I’m bent over to the side trying to see the clock/timer function it’s not the easiest thing for me to do. Other than that, I’d recommend for a small space.
I can use this instead of putting my heating on, very useful
Great little radiator. Does what it says heats up roomquickly
Used this in my lounge to save me putting my heating on before I went to work, made the room nice and warm
I’m very happy with my purchase.
I hope just it doesn’t consume too much electricity.
easily moved about although electric cord could be longer. Certainly gives good warmth and saves on gas.
recommend this radiato
Satisfied with purchase. Arrived on time by helpful delivery man. Working as described.
The thermostat turns the heater off when the temperature you want is reached, so cuts out over electricity waste / cost.
This oil filled radiator heats up really quickly and turned off still emits quite a bit of heat and having a timer is such a good idea.
I bought this heater over a year ago and have been so impressed I kept meaning to leave a review because it deserves one.
The heater takes very little time to heat up a room even on the lower settings. I use it at work in a very old building and pleasently surprised by it’s ability and power. I only use this heater now to heat the room (instead of electric heaters on the wall) and it works out perfectly. Much more energy efficient to run. Timer never fails to come as set.
Brilliant product for a very reasonable price, highly recommend.
I have it in my hall and it takes the chill of all the surrounding rooms
Nothing to dislike. Easy to fit wheels , the radiator was up and running in no time at all. Great for individual rooms and quick to heat up. Thermostat, heat settings and timer all straight forward to operate. Might buy another one.
I do not know if it is economical yet but it certainly heats our large living room right into the kitchen. No need for anything else
We made this purchase for our caravan as we expect that there will be a shortage of bottled gas.
We have used it a few times to quickly heat the caravan up and it has been fantastic.
It is such a great heater and I would recommend it to anyone.
Found it easy to fit the wheels and the manoeuverability is very good. It heats up very quickly and radiates the heat well. I am yet to have an electricity bill since I have used it so I cannot tell you about the economy.
Good heater, I am pleased with it. I use it in a small cold room which has made it warm and comfortable.
Light easy to move and heats the room up very quickly. Very happy with this purchase.

Tried others in past and oil heaters are definitely the better option. This one is brilliant, really good. It heats up quickly and will warm a room and keep warm/hot in not time (compared to other fan heaters etc). I’ll be getter another.
Great product heats up my small front room now I can switch off the central heating save a bit on gas great price just the right size

a bit late sending this review,..but wanted to trial it first and give overall review.
When I researched initially, I was almost put off buying one irrespective of brand because several people had had some disasters. In the end the cold beat me and had to get one. I can honestly say it’s been absolutely fine. it was well packaged. All you do is add the wheels and plug in – heats up quickly.
if you have it on the hottest setting even for a shortish time, it eats electricity. I found having it on low/medium for tick over from 08.00 til 16.00 it costs just over a 1 a day to run.
yep I’d recommend
I’ve tried all kinds of heaters. Most have a limited affect and either burn out or break This radiator keeps the room lovely and warm. I find the radiator itself doesn’t stay warm after switching off. But more importantly the room does. Really glad I bought this.

I had purchased one of these before, after having it for almost a year i purchased another one. I have one in the living room and 1 in my sons room. My sons room is very big , this radiator warms are with in seconds which then warms up the room very fast, totally reccomend
A good heater, works very well.
Thermostat function is good as it can be left on during the night and it won’t run all night.
We use it in a small room and don’t find the need to use it at full capacity. Level 1 or Level 2 max, as it heats the room up in 10-15 mins and then maintains it well.

I bought this heater in January. Just switched it on today (November) and flames came out of the control panel. If I hadn’t been in the room there could have been a serious fire. I am giving this five stars as if I give it one star potential customers are unlikely to see this review This is a dangerous product. Do not buy it. Scroll.down to the one star reviews, mine is not the only one to go on fire. I have reported it to trading standards

I have a really outdated panel heater in my bedroom which always smells of burning when turning on, sparks at the plug and the timer doesn’t work. My bedroom is really really cold in the winter so we had no choice but to turn it on a couple hours before bed and then turn off before going to sleep BUT was waking up absolutely freezing in the morning. Sometimes so cold the covers actually felt wet. I ordered this heater after doing a fair bit of research and was impressed with the functions and the price. It arrived very quickly and was easy enough to set up. The instructions probably could have been a bit clearer about how to get the legs on. I figured it out, but it really wasn’t that obvious. Instructions fine for everything else though. Timer works brilliantly. I was really struggling to find a heater at a decent price that would come on and off rather than one or the other. This is really easy to set so I set it to come on a couple hours before bed and switch off just after our usual bedtime, then come back on about 5.30am ready for morning. I don’t have it on full heat and it really warms the room up perfectly. Sometimes, I’m actually a bit hot in the morning now! I would highly recommend it.
Time to heat up radiator is fast.
Heat emitted was very good.
Thermostat, once set, clicks on and off until temperature required is reached.
3 ranges of temperature and control for as many on and offs as you would need in 24hours.
Radiator has great styling. Sleek. Would sit nicely in any room or area.
Radiator Fins are extremely efficient.
Portability with its handle and smooth running casters were ideal for me – as in the cold weather could easily manouvre the product to where I needed it the most.
Gas Central Heating failed. Engineers weren’t able to come for weeks (Covid-19 crisis) so because I was extremely pleased with the product, I purchased three more.
Customer Help Desk were exceptional when I had one query to resolve.
Emailed replies were courteous and speedy,,,,,. and resolved
My dealings with the PureMate team was a pleasure.
Customer Service team were top notch and would certainly be a returning customer.

Finally got rid of my fan heater and opted for this oil filled radiator. I’m very impressed so far, it heats my flat up quickly, the warm air is much more pleasant than that blown out by a convection heater, more akin to central heating and it maintains a level of warmth after turning off for a nice amount of time. Assembly was very easy, just the wheels to attach and no tools required, very manoeuvrable. The unit is an impressive size and seems well able to cope with my large living room, hall, bathroom and kitchen (bedroom has a separate wall heater). The radiator is totally silent too which is another plus over a fan based heater. It seems very well made and sturdy and as I’m working from home due to the you know what; it will be interesting to see what happens to my fuel consumption. I haven’t used the timer but it looks pretty straightforward, I may play with it on the weekend. I highly recommend this product.

I live in a large mobile home & was needing a heater for the living room over the winter. Having got a smaller one for the bedrooms I opted for a larger one & came across this,it’s not the cheapest available but I’m very much “you get what you pay for “it arrived before the allotted time on the day of delivery & was left as per delivery instructions it was also tucked out of the rain-nice thought.Simple to assemble & operate, has a good quality feel & look & construction. A bit of experimenting with the heat settings & thermostat to balance it to the room & even though its -2 outside its maintaining a comfortable 16 degrees inside without being on maximum or hammering the living daylights out of the electric meter! Highly recommended-thank you.

Great heat output. Well made and attractive shade of grey. Two slight glitches but neither reduce the review of 5 stars: There is a review elsewhere where the owner cannot turn on the heater and he has videoed his problem – I suspect the problem lies with the tiny red sliding switch in the middle of the timing dial – it is used to set the timer but one position turns the heater off (the instruction booklet highlights this in bold print); secondly, there is no pilot light to indicate the heating elements are on – the light that does illuminate merely indicates the situation with the thermostat and lights when the mains plug is on irrespective of whether or not the heating switch is on or off – it means there is no visual check from a distance that the heating switch is in the on position. But overall a very good and well-built appliance. I made a repeat purchase which speaks volumes.

I am very pleased with the purchase. The radiator is quiet, heats up fast and the timer is simply to use. It has the tilt protection feature which makes a balancing sound when you move the radiator. That makes sense once you realize it, but when I first started to use the radiator, I did not know what is it, so I called the customer service. The guy on the phone was extremely efficient and gave me clear instructions what to do to get a speedy customer service response. Their response time is 24hrs, but they responded much faster. Luckily, in the meantime, my boyfriend looked at it and said that it is the anti-tilt device which moves, when I move the radiator, which is of course doing what it was designed for! I hope that you will enjoy this product as much as we do!

I needed to write this to share my experience with PureMate so they can be recognised for going above and beyond expectations.
My first order had a small chip on the enamel, was returned without problem and with a rapid refund
My second order was received in perfect working order, however I dropped it and bent the wheels and mounting plate. This was my fault and not a manufacturing defect so not covered by the warranty. I contacted PureMate asking for replacements and said I was willing to pay. Two days later and I have now received new wheels and mounting plate as replacements.
PureMate – Thank you
PS I haven’t tested the heater but have every confidence on the back of their service.
PPS I bought this myself, don’t get paid for reviews but do feel excellent service should be recognised

Overall I’m very happy with this heater, it was slightly more expensive than other options I was looking at but I wanted to invest in something that I’d be happy with and glad I did.
Pros:
Has a timer (so you can set it to go on and off at certain times of the day for any duration you like)
Good heat output (it has a 3 point heat setting and heats up the bedroom in 15-20 minutes)
Heat setting (If you don’t want the timer option you can also set it to stay on until it reaches a certain temp then turn off and come back on when temp drops)
Safe to have on over night as it can turn off/on.
Sturdy and easy to assemble, took about 10 minutes to clip on the wheels.
Its quiet – no noise apart from a ‘click’ when it comes on and off.
Cons:
Non that I can think of to be honest and I’m really trying to think…
Overall this heater heats up my bedroom in winter very efficiently and I can set it to come on/off when I want. Its not too big so doesn’t take up a lot of room and has really good heat output. Can’t fault it.
Held off writing review until we’d had it at least a month. Was bought for a friend who struggles financially and her home heater costs a fortune for just a very tiny 1 bed flat. The range of this one should have covered the entire flat with bedroom door open but as hopeful as we were, this was not the case. It also takes a good 25 odd minutes to kick in but does let off a nice radiator heat. If just in the bedroom (which is medium to small sized) it works a treat once it’s heated up, but does not work on whole house as hoped (as per given reach). Fix for this is to just drag it into the bedroom or living area when settled in that room. We have it on a long extension lead so just move it wherever lol. For an idea of efficiency, it cost her 4 electric for roughly 12 hours of continuous use on high (this is dragging between rooms and overnight, her place is like a freezer). Hope this helps.
Fed up of feeling cold because of useless storage heaters I decided to buy this radiator after reading many reviews on oil filled radiators. Although this one is a bit more expensive than others it has been worth every penny. I can set the timer for the radiator to come on at times to suit me and actually feel warm and cosy when at home. Before I was paying an energy bill to not be warm and comfortable, at least now I am paying to be warm. I’m still monitoring the cost and find it’s roughly costing around 1 to 1.50 a day to have heat in the morning before work and heat on an evening after work (I’m using on the number 2 setting and adjust the temperature dial to suit for the days weather) I live in a victorian building with high ceilings so was worried about whether the radiator would heat the room but it heats up really quickly. If the weather turns colder I know the radiator can be set higher to provide more heat if needed. I do move the heater between two rooms for use so will definately look at buying another and would recommend this if you are looking to buy this type of product.
Update: I recently purchased a second one of these oil filled radiators and I have to say just a tiny bit disappointed with the second one. This second one came in it’s main box (the one I bought before was packaged in a secondary box so was more protected) and so the latest one has a couple of dented fins and the button you turn to select the power (I, II or III) looked like it wasn’t on properly. Although it works perfectly, and keeps my lounge nice and warm it makes a constant ticking noise (I use the timer on both radiators and the first I bought is completely silent) and also a strange but not loud grinding noise. I notice it even over the tv volume. So it seems, luck of the draw with these radiators as to whether you get a perfect one like my first or a slightly disappointing one as I have with my second!
I have only used this heater in short tests so can’t give a normal use review. I tried the 3 different heat settings and the time and everything worked as it should as far as I can tell. All the controls are easy to use, including the thermostat control. The only negative aspect I found is that the power cable is just too short (by about 3 or 4 inches) to reach a power point above the kitchen worktop, which is where I want to use it and therefore have to use an extension lead. To be fair the lead is exactly the 1.5m it states it is but although the tape measure suggests it should reach my power points but in practice it doesn’t quite. In most situations this isn’t a problem.
This is what my elderly, disabled brother, for whom I bought this radiator, has told me. He says it’s “ruddy marvellous” and is “the Rolls Royce of Radiators”. He’s delighted. I’m so pleased because, when it first arrived, he insisted that the radiator was faulty as he said “no power was getting to the radiator” when he plugged it in and switched it on. He’s not very good with these things so I knew the fault probably lay with him and not with the radiator. He lives at the other end of the country from me so all I could do was go through the instructions with him over the phone. When he still insisted it didn’t work I asked the community for advice as well as emailing the seller, who offered to exchange it for a new one. I tried ringing him again and when he looked properly at the instructions he realised that he’d been trying to operate the radiator upside down! Once he’d upended it, the radiator worked perfectly. Thanks to the seller and to all who responded to my query.

I had been using this heater for about 8 weeks now and feel happy to share my experience. My bedroom is exposed to the elements from 2 sides and it always had been very cold in the far side wall of the room. I had been using another 2kw heater in that corner with not very satisfactory results. Also I had a problem of forgetting to switch it off when the bedroom is not in use and it had been costing me money in wasted supplementary energy.
I had been looking to add a more powerful energy efficient oil filled heater. The feature most attracted be to buy was the added feature of the timer which means that I did not have to worry about switching the heater off before leaving the bedroom in the morning. In addition this hater not only have 3 levels of heating but the built in thermostat. As we all know that the thermostats work in a way where for example if you set it on 23c they allow the temperature to go passed it target limit of 23c and the switch off and on the other hand when the temperature falls below 23c the kick start. This heater allow me to set the timer in the segments of 30 minutes so that it could try to compensate the grey ares of the thermostat.
Using my smart meter I can see the proof in the pudding which shows a considerable saving in the energy after nearly 8 weeks of constant use which means that this heater has already started saving me money.
Another pleasant surprise came when I opened the box there was a nice welcoming note informing me that if I register the product within 7 days then my guarantee will be increased to 2 years instead of 1 year.
So it is win win situation.
This is one of the most efficient radiators that I have had. Firstly, it comes with casters so it’s easy to move it around to the location that’s best for you and it has a nifty little cord storage for you wrap the cord around rather than just lying around on the ground, this is a neat and tidy radiator.
When I switched it on I was pleasantly surprised to find that the heat emanated from the radiator fins quite quickly so you won’t have to wait too long before you start getting warmed up. The heat also seems to radiate in a 360 fashion so there is an equal distribution of it rather than just above or to the side of it. This also means that the heat distribution is effective and efficient.
As well as having the obligatory power switch dial, you also get a handy thermostat dial to allow you to control the temperature, this is better than other radiators I’ve had where there are just switches that are heat settings so rather than just “I”, “II” or “III”, you get to adjust the heat to exactly what you want. Then there is the timer option which gives you control over the exact time you want the radiator to come on/off. These options make this a very versatile radiator that gives off heat quickly and it’s not weak either. You can get quite toasty if you want to!
All in all, if you want a heater that does what you want it to do and for a reasonable price, then you can’t go far wrong with this one.
I spend a fair bit of time in my study either with my 3D printer or home lab – I like to learn but It isnt cost effective to heat the whole house when I am only in a single room for the majority of the time or when I have a long print running and being cold doesn’t help 3D prints (in the colder months I use this to keep the room at a comfortable temperature)
I opted for this radiator to use in cold times when I am in the room either studying, working from home or printing, and its colder than I’d like but dont want the whole house heated.
I’ve used similar products before, and like someone else mentioned, I’ve got a fan heater, a 2000W to be precise and it’s ‘ok’. Because it’s a fan heater it’s directional, if the heat is facing you it can get warm quickly, if it’s facing away, the heat isn’t always felt, I am also not a fan (no pun intended) of the heat being blown at me.
This radiator changes that, I’ll be honest, I didnt have high hopes, but it heats up rapidly and you can feel it almost immediately. The heat is uniform, and ‘radiates’ as it’s name suggests, in fact it wasn’t long before I was adjusting it to a slightly lower temperature as it was starting to get warm. It will take time to find the correct marking as there is no way of knowing what temperature you are setting, it’s just a rotary dial from low to high, it would be nice if there was either written markings with rough temperatures or a full marking showing the temperatures the thermostat is aiming for. I understand it might not be accurate due to your distance from the unit and size of the room, but rough temperatures being aimed for would be nice – after all the thermostat cuts off when it reaches temperature based on the dial position.
Visually it looks like any ordinary radiator, a mobile one if you will so it’s easy to know what it is. Putting it together took no more than 5 minutes without the instructions, but they are there should you need them, it is easy to move with the wheels, sturdy, well built and ideal for those places a regular radiator simply wont fit or costs too much to have installed, or like me, when you only want to heat a single room while you are in it and you want to keep it comfortable.
Would be ideal for garages/workshops, conservatories, or outbuildings. Also ideal for those who work in those container like offices (I don’t know what they are called).
Well packaged, with only a few pieces to put together and you’re ready to go, with the added option of a built-in timer for scheduled use, an adjuster for setting the heat and 3 power levels (I assume for how quickly it gets to temperature), this has a setting for everyone.
I will likely keep the box to store it in during the months i dont need it to retain it’s colour and condition, disasembly and re-assembly will take only minutes to do, so this is not an issue.
If you are looking for a portable heater, I would highly recommend this one.
There are a couple of minor things i would prefer to change, the power cable for example, i would prefer it to be round the back of the unit, not coming out of the front, not a huge issue but my personal preference and the cable, while it has a nice built in storage, I’d prefer it to be a little longer – not gripes, just personal choice on the item itself.
Otherwise, as above, I would definately recommend this, no issues with this product whatsoever.
Very good heater, it has the best futures that I have seen in an oil filled radiator and saves me Money by having these futures like the thermostat and timer brilliant heat output heats out room very quickly I have not found any negative points about this heater for that reason I do recommend it and I have other appliances from brand and never been disappointed with quality and good value for money.
This model has simple dials to control temperature and power settings. I think these dials make it easier to use than radiators with digital push button controls. The elderly in particular should find it easier to use. The only slight difficulty is with the timer as that is a bit complicated.
The radiator is quick to heat up. It takes five minutes for it to get hot which is a good time for an oil filled radiator. It is silent in operation except when the thermostat quietly clicks on or off.
The temperature of the fins can get too hot to touch, so some caution is advised here. It gets far hotter than my gas central heating. A small radiator like this will have no problem heating up a small or medium sized room. I have not come close to pushing it to its limits as it gives off plenty of heat even on the lowest power setting.
The castor wheels are smooth and make it very easy to move around.

This is a compact well designed heater that really gives out a lot of controlable heat. The controls are easy to use and the three heat settings are very responsive and effective. Even when set on low it maintains a constant level of warmth in the room. The timer works well and is an added bonus. The unit is on four castors which allows it to be moved easily to different rooms. I particularly like the reassurance of the safety features to guard against overheating etc. Overall a product and company I would recommend, good value and a powerful heater that I shall get a lot of use from.
I got this as a temporary measure as the heater in my flat stopped working. This is actually a lot better than the existing heater.
After unboxing you have to attach the wheels, which is pretty easy, and since it’s on wheels it is easy to move around (I’ve got a hard floor). There’s a grip so you don’t burn your hands. I wouldn’t say it’s heavy.
There are three power settings and adjustable temperature within that.
It warms up reasonably quickly and gives off a lot of heat. I’ve only used on the low settings and that was plenty of heat.
Probably a weird way of saying it, but I’d say it gives off a nice heat. I’ve used halogen and fan heaters before and the heat from this is more pleasant. It’s not directed at anything so the heat goes around the room nicely.
With the timer you can go out all day and come back to a warm flat or wake up in the morning to a warm room. Instructions are clear and it’s very easy to use.
It’s certainly one of the better purchases I’ve made recently and I really can’t find a flaw (and I’ve really looked).

Packaging: minimal, with very few parts.
Assembly: I did use the instructions to attach the wheels, it is a simple/clear to do and I could of probably guessed. I did not need any other tools to attach the wheels, I could do it all by hand which makes things simpler! I have a picture of what the wheels look like attached, should you want to know!
Operation: This time I did not use the instructions and braved to use the product without them. Within a few minutes I had worked out how to use the radiator and had an additional 2.5 kW of heat at my disposable. The unit itself only takes a few minutes to warm up. I was happy with all of the 3 power settings and the temperature gauge and pleased with the timer, I think you can schedule on/off function over 24 hours at 15 min intervals. This is very helpful so I can plug in and forget! As expected very quiet, it is a oil radiator after all, when operational I did not notice it. Ease of movement, with the wheels it can be effortlessly moved and even moving upstairs can be a one-person job.
Design: Movement is easy, design is practical and unit appears of a good build.
Price/Spec: I think this is a great price for the wattage and options you get, I have had other units of similar wattage but some of them have been almost double the price, and I cannot see much difference.
Summary: Great Price and options (timer/heat options) for the price, I have this just in case the gas heating goes down. This should be able to warm our front room. Would highly recommend if you are after a high wattage portable oil radiator?
Now the mid-Winter Summer has been and gone, thoughts turn to keeping warm for the next couple of months. In a small room turned into an office the previous solution was a convection heater, but that wasn’t a particularly good solution since it heats the room from the ceiling down and sometimes the warmth never gets below neck height. I hadn’t previously tried a radiator-type heater but the principle seemed good (that there is radiated heat as well as convection) and our central heating radiators in other rooms more or less perform.
This particular radiator is oil filled, where a heating element in the bottom heats oil which then circulates and transfers the heat to the extremities. There are three levels of power: 1kW, 1.5kW and 2.5kW (and, yes, I measured them to confirm the figures are spot on) and a thermostat takes care of regulating the room temperature. Unusually for a heater, at least so far as I’ve taken notice, this also has timer built in so can be set to turn on or off at any of 96 15-minute slots during the day (and night).
I had assumed that this kind of radiator would take a while to get going, just like the central heating takes some time to warm up. But this item is actually quite quick and pumping out the heat within a minute or two. And it is proper radiated heat too – the attached thermograph, taken after it had been turned on for a few minutes, shows that the bottom tube is around 94C and the heat has spread pretty much throughout.
Speaking of which, the manual warns that the surface will be hot and it shouldn’t be touched with bare skin. However, right after that thermograph was taken I was able to place my hand on the top without being burned because the thin fins are kept cool by heating the air. I wouldn’t have any worries about touching the radiator in passing, but you wouldn’t catch me poking my fingers between the fins.
A quirk I noticed is that the power light is on when the heater element is active and off when it isn’t (when, for instance, the thermostat has tripped). You’d expect that if you turn the power control to 0, so there is no heating, the light would be off. But, in fact, it is on continuously. However, if the heating is off because the timer is in an off period, the light is off! Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Apart from that, the heater is pretty much perfect for my requirements and a revelation after using a convector heater. Should have got one ages ago.
