La calidad de estas acuarelas es muy buena, pero el precio me parece elevado tratndose de tubos de 5ml. Supongo que es lo que pasa con las gamas profesionales, pero no s hasta que punto est justificado o termina por salir a cuenta si no eres un profesional consolidado o una persona con dinero.
Confezione d’effetto e prodotti di ottima qualit. Venditore OK e affidabilissimo. Unica obiezione che in generale questi prodotti sono abbastanza cari e quindi li sconsiglierei a chi alle prime armi con l’acquarello.
I like these pigments. A lot. They are predictable, easy to use, and have become one of my go-tos. They are, however, quite expensive — all things considered. The wooden box is lovely. The palette is OK. But I don’t know that they’re worth the added expense.
Schmincke Horadam provides in this set awesome colors of their palette of watercolors. Schmincke is out there with David Smith watercolors.

Fantastic gouache that has a surprising ability to be layered more successfully than common gouache types.
A little goes a long way due to the quality and they blend easily.
I am really enjoying these paints. I like that the tubes are the larger ones, so these will last a long time. The set makes a split primary palette with warm and cool red, yellow and blue, plus 3 earthier tones and phthalo green. What a nicely curated palette. I really liked the color selection, though I would probably have picked a different warm yellow, it is too close to the cool yellow. I appreciate that they didn’t throw in a white or black, which many people do not use.
My only complaint, and it may not even be related to the quality of the paints themselves, is that probably 7 of them just gushed out of the tube upon opening. The rest were so thick that they kept their shape even in the palette, and never flattened out. I am not sure if this is related to being shipped from overseas, and in pressurized environments.
I would recommend, but be careful opening them.
Se han convertido en una de mis favoritas junto a las Daniel Smith. El pigmento es intenso pero con buena transparencia. Fluye perfecta, incluso si el papel no es de lo mejor. Los tubos tienen poquito pero para m que soy aficionada y no pinto todos los das, la cantidad me viene perfecto, da mucho de s.
The name speaks for itself. Schmincke Horadam watercolors are among the best, most transparent watercolor paints I’ve used along with a couple other brands. I always have this brand for projects. The set is very nice, has a variety of colors to satisfy a professional artist and it comes with a nice porcelain palette which I love. The wooden box is beautiful and well made. Definitely recommend.
This is a versatile collection, in small-scale, of superb quality watercolors, ideal for anyone wanting speedy access to all the main requirements of sketching in colour.
One thing to keep in mind, the tubes are only 5ml. For some reason, I assumed they would be 10ml.
Have to say, the colors are absolutely beautiful. Extremely happy with the purchase.
Die Farben sind gut. Bei manchen Tuben ist die Farbe frmlich rausgeschossen. Konnte ich zum Glck trotzdem noch gut verwerten. Ich sehe jedoch keinen signifikaten Qualittsunterschied zu mittelteurej Aqaurellfarben. Werde mir diese Farben also nicht noch mal holen sondern dann wieder auf die bekannte blaue mittelteure Marke zurckgreifen.
I purchased these paints April 15 and paid extra shipping to get it sooner. I didn’t notice that there was to be an additional charge for duty from DSL – $43. Anyways the paints came April 20 which was yesterday.
Very well pigmented and I am very happy with them.

I’m very happy with my order. It came in early and the paint is great.
La line Horadam di Schminke la mia preferita, i colori sono fantastici e la stesura molto naturale. Il kit comprende una buona selezione di colori. Purtroppo in Italia si trovano difficilmente nel formato 15ml, ma il venditore tedesco ha effettuato una spedizione perfetta, lo terr in considerazione per acquisti futuri.
The metal box survived the shipping without dint and dent. Case is definitely quality, easy to open and close and can be used as palette (take the tubes out). The tubes are nestled securely inside the box. There’s a metal cradle under the tubes but the set doesn’t come with pans and pan cradle.
Each tube is not sealed. Only one color is rather watery the rest are all paste like (no bursting out of the tube). I bought a Portable Painter’s travel palette for these colors. According to YouTubers, the 5ml can fill up half pan 2, 3 times or so, not too shabby. Since a little goes a long way I hope that these 5ml tubes would last me for a few years. Another trick to keep the paint inside tube soft when not using is to q-tip swipe vaseline around the thread.
Schmincke website has detail information for each color (10 out of 12 are single pigment colors). It really helps with color mixing. Also, judging by YouTubers, these colors are more understated with good transparency to glaze.

Buena calidad del pigmento, buen comportamiento, excelente resistencia a la luz, la paleta es perfecta para trabajar buen tamao con superficie amplia para mezclar y lo mejor, es una acuarela profesional a un precio buenisimo pocas veces he visto un pack tan completo y que merezca tanto la pena.

Es ist drinn was angeboten wird! Schne hochwertige Farben, hochpigmentiert, in stabilem Kasten. Ich brauche sie zum Marmorieren und dafr sind sie bestens geeignet, wenn natrlich auch nicht wasserfest wie Acrylfarben. Auch besonder erfreulich: der gnstige Preis bei Farben Viertl!
The paint is highly pigmented, and crisp clean color.
I’m disappointed in the tin. I have numerous tins from Schmincke pan sets, and those older tins are much better.
For some reason, the metal on parts of the palette is not rolled, and being very thin, it is easy to cut yourself while handling, if not careful.
I don’t why if Schmincke has chosen to do this, whether to cut corners, or some other reason, but I will contact them personally on the newer pan and tube palettes I have purchased, as there seems to have been some decline in the quality of the tins.
However, do not let that deter you from purchasing their paint, whether watercolor paints or oil paints.
I have used their paint for decades, and it is exceptional quality. You can never go wrong with buying Schmincke paints.
Watercolor artists often buy larger palettes for home or studio use, and use these types of pan sets for travel.
I will still give five stars for paint quality, as that is the reason for this purchase.
These paints are highly pigmented, the colors are clean, and the binder is just right, not too much. These are artist grade paints, suitable for professional work.
Whether professional, or enthusiast, or student, it is good to have quality paint and at least one or two quality brushes.
Using poor grade paint and brushes makes painting a more difficult experience, and you simply cannot get the same results.
Schmincke is a great paint to have in your palette.
In my opinion, you can’t get better.
This set, with the small tubes, makes for a good travel kit, or to try out more colors for less.
These paints are moist and beautiful to work with. They remain moist even when not in use. They do not dry out. The colours are vibrant. The best paints I have used.
