I have a faitron 100w heat box and this 300w unit will power it for my food for 4 days at 45 minutes per day to heat the food which is adequate, it’s simply brillia
i use this for my security cameras for power outages worked great from when my apartment was having a new electric meter was being installed and they needed access to my appartment whilst i was at work
This item is fit for purpose, but not the purpose i had purchased it for, iy is perfect for charging phones, e-books and poss torches, but it isnt enough for anything more
Good little piece of kit, able to power plenty of usb devices as well as a portable led projector for in tent movie nights.
Don’t get me wrong you’re not going to be powering a fridge with this but it’s a very capable unit.
Mine developed a fault in which it stopped charging, after recording a short video support identified the fault and sent a whole new unit quickly, it was very easy to deal with Ivy, thank you!
Highly recommend for camping or long trips in the car charge it up and you get oodles of power I charged or phones, iPad just keeps giving. Very easy to carry about it was fab in a power cut.
Power station. I shopped around, and decided I would purchase this brand. I took with me to a weekend festival, there were four of us and we were all able to use without the power running out.
Amazing piece of equipment.
Ten out of ten!
Great value and holds charge for many months if not used.
Was very disappointed tbh thought I’d got a real deal with a 35 voucher of the list price only to find it on a lightning deal the day after making it even cheaper if it wasn’t already dispatched I’d of cancelled and re ordered on lightning deal not all deals are genuine..
Very well made and cleverly designed. Excellent for the price too
Power on the move. Able to charge my e-bike away from a power sourse. Great product.
It is quality made. The usb indicator is good, you couldn’t find this design on the similar product. It tells how much the usb port is charging. I bought it as a backup power supply, it’s no problem to charge my laptop and phone at the same time.
Great piece of kit does what it’s intended for and no hassle. Powered a table lamp for over six hours whilst charging an iPad, iPhone and shuffle. Great product.
Just spent 4 nights in camper van. Power station was great for keeping mobiles etc charged up. Recommended
This is an excellent value buy. I bought this powerbank in anticipation of fuel rationing/power cuts and randomly my main house consumer box fuse blew about 3 hours after the powerbank was delivered so I had the opportunity to try it out earlier than expected for a few hours while I waited for the electrician.
Firstly, the inbuilt torchlight was a great feature and strong enough to light up a room – outside, the range would be wider and on a dark night would be seen from at least a mile away I would guess – which brings me onto the second point – the light has an SOS setting (3 quick flashes, 3 slow flashes then quick flash for 3 seconds in continuous sequence.) which could potentially be a life saver. It also has a strobe function (which apparently deters rats btw!) which would be a handy hazard light. (I wouldn’t recommend the Strobe setting if you suffer from epilepsy or migraines though – it’s pretty full on!)
As a powerbank, it arrived charged to 3 bars (which are displayed large and bright!) but I charged to 5 (fully) within an hour once I got my mains back on. The usb-c charging port is a must for when chargers become standardised and it also has two ‘normal’ usb charging docks so I can charge my phone, my Apple watch and my ipad at the same time. There are both AC and DC power points as well as a 3 pin power point.
The powerbank comes with a 3 pin mains lead for charging but it has multiple ac/dc connectors. It also comes with a car charger. There is a also a 3 pin socket so you could also run a appropriate wattage mains device off it (like a light or a laptop)
The powerbank is very light weight and has a comfortable carry handle – as a disabled person, this is particularly a good aspect for me.
For the price, I would recommend this as being good value and light enough for travelling/camping/or just carrying it as a torch around the home in the event of powercuts.
Purchased for a camping trip with no electric hookup. Paired with a solar panel and kept 4 smart phones, 2 iPads and the tent light all week with a quick top up each day with the panel. For light use couldn’t recommend more
Been using this for a few months and pretty impressed for the price range. solar charging regulation is excellent and it just works. I like the inbuilt power meter, something many other manufacturers omit but is vital if pairing with a solar panel. considering the size of the battery I think the casing could perhaps be a bit smaller but no real issue. Sadly it doesn’t support pass-through to the 12v ports during charging (just the USB’s) but it’s a budget power station so you can’t expect too much. Would love to see a larger capacity model of it.
Great go on camping trips to charge phones or other equipment.
Ran my van TV for two films and only one bar of power had been used.
Light weight and easy to use and done all the things I needed it to do on my weekend camping trip as we didn’t have electrical hook up.
Used for a few day’s charging my phone well impressed so far, next 12 v tv
I charge this up in the day using my solar. Use it at night for charging phone and low watt light. Should be ok for camping and if there are power cuts !
Very portable, nice for use outdoors or camping etc but beware it really is only for small electronics – phones, laptops etc. Not for kitchen appliances!
Can also recharge it via your car cigarette lighter port. Very useful despite limitations.
This energy bank is great. Fully charged before leaving home will happily power phones / iPads etc.
I also use it with a solar panned to trickle charge through the day.
This made my camping trip so much easier, kept everything I had with me fully charged, yet lightweight enough not to be a bother to move around.
The best I’ve used so far. I have complaint whatsoever. This is powerful. I’m a singer and perform on the streets. This powers my equipment perfectly.
I absolutely love this and it’s been amazingly useful for me as someone permanently without grid power. I would like to know if it’s possible to get a replacement charger though as I lost my wall charger which was immensely useful. Thank you!
This is just the item I need for my camping trip’s brilliant bit of kit for the money
This is far better than I expected. I bought it for camping trips and for a fan in this crazy heat to save energy. It has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would and surprised how quick it charges. I was in the garden and have one of those wee Bose speakers. It ran out so plugged it in. I used it for five hours and still had 3/4 battery left and this was while charging and using the speaker. It also charges really quickly with the solar panel I bought to charge it. This will pay for itself in no time and can’t wait to go camping with it and not run out of music. Lightweight and small but feels very sturdy. Just ideal and well worth the money. I’m not very techy – this is simple to use and plug into the solar panel – awesome.
This power station may be small but it’s holds a good amount of charge. When I bought it I wasn’t expecting anything brilliant for the size and price, but I was wrong. Very happy with this purchase.
Going to a festival? Camping for the weekend this battery pack is what’s needed. With 3 Adults and one teenager it kept 4 mobile phones and 2 vapes fully charged for 3 nights 4 days (you can recharge using car/van adapter ) it has a powerful light and strobe setting. And you can even plug in a low wattage electrical item. We didn’t try. Was more worried the teen would spot the plug point and automatically demand gaming rights whilst camping! NOT a chance!!!! plan to invest in solar panels at some point.
I had an issue with the LED, the supplier was fast and proactive in sorting it out.
Thank you!
This works well, great for camping and being out and about, charging devices and running computers. Be wary that it has a limited output on the 3pin plug (e.g dont run a kettle) but if you use it wisely it’s awesome.
I use this to power a Totalcool air conditioning machine in my dog van. It recharges while I drive and stays on all day running the air conditioner.
Haven’t had it go below half charge at all!
I’m surprisingly pleased with it!
Requires a good solar panel only 1 input mains car or solar panels some asking asking about microwave the holy grail of motor homes
This power station is amazing!
I bought this purely for going camping and charging all my device as I was fed up with having to bring multiple bulky heavy power banks with me.
It’s very light and small so easy to carry around
I have only tested it so far to see how powerful the unit is I haven’t used it camping yet.
I managed to charge my smart phone 4 times, smart watch twice my partners phone twice before the unit died, at one point I had all of the above charging at the same time and it only lost one bar over night and only put out 30 watts maximum and the unit has a maximum 99 watt output so not even close to its copassity.
Pros:
Lightweight
Small
Massive copassity (27000mah)
Quick charging times (depending on device connected)
12v output
3 pin mains connectivity
AC/DC settings
Solor charging compatible (4 hours roughly from flat on a 100 watt unit depending on weather conditions)
Cons:
Unit has a small display on the front that can’t be switched off and is very bright so partly lights up a room so would be very annoying in a tent, would advise covering the display at night.
Will update once I’ve fully tested while camping, so far so good!
If ordering this item for solar charging you need to order a usb connector as well as it doesn’t come with this item or the solar panel
Although this would work great as a stand alone unit I decided to step it up a notch a solar panel onto this, the solar panel trickles enough power to keep this power station topped up without having to worry about recharging it at any point, if I were you I would go for the same as myself which is a 100 kWh panel.
The power station itself is a nice weighty block in the fact that it feels really solid and well made, it has a digital display on the front that shows you the current usage of each of the socket points as well as the amount of power left, although that display or will also show if it’s being charged from a solar panel on the amount of power being put into the power station.
It has a few different sockets that allow you to plug a multitude of different items in including a standard three prong UK plug socket, a cigarette lighter socket, and a few different USB ports all of which mean that no matter what device you need to charge or power it should have a way to be plugged into this unit. Keep in mind it is a 600 Watt unit so won’t be able to power things like heavy cooking utensils like an air fryer or something similar but it is able to easily power a car fridge which when camping means that you can actually have chilled foods on site without worrying about them going off. So far we’ve been able to run both the fridge and a low powered slow cooker at different times which has opened up a whole world of different possibilities on cooking whilst camping.
So if like me you accompany this with a solar panel then you should be able to run something reasonably low powered like a small fridge continuously without the worry of losing power.
Wanted a bit more than a powerbank so went with this power station as an introduction to them. Got it for about 100 and I’m very happy. Just got back from a weeks camping in the Lakes. This unit charges a modern smart phone/tablet 6-7 times. I got a fold out 60w solar panel which was showing about 53w charge in direct sun light charging the unit from empty in about 2.5hrs. Feels like a nice little quality unit. Very happy.
I bought this unit primarily to power some musical equipment when playing outdoors where there is no mains supply available. It easily powers my Yamaha PSR SX600 keyboard using the AC socket with the Yamaha power supply (about 5 – 6 watts draw). I also have a Moukey 4 channel mini mixer that I plug into a USB socket (about 0.5watts draw) at the same time. I haven’t tested how long exactly the battery lasts but it’s well over 3 hours continuous use with what I’ve got plugged in to it.
The unit is well built and can easily be carried around. It comes with a mains changing adaptor and an adaptor that plugs into a car cigarette lighter socket for in-car charging. It can also be charged using Solar power. I would recommend a solar panel that produces around 12-15 volts/40 watts which is about the same as the mains adaptor uses. Outputs include 2 x ‘standard’ USB, 1 x USB ‘C’, 2 x 12 volt DC sockets and a standard AC plug socket.
All the power usage and charging info is displayed on one side of the unit and there is a handy torch on the other side. It’s easy to use with just 3 buttons to control everything.
The SinKeu Power Station 600Wh Solar Generator arrived in just couple of days after ordered from Amazon. and here is things i liked after using for a few days.
It looks pretty much the same as show in the picture, the plastic outside box is feel solid and very smooth. it’s not big in size, just a bit smaller than A4 paper. feel comfortable to handle the unit in hand.
The front light is really big and can be dimmed in 3 levels. Definitely good for camping as can be function as a lamp.
Great battery capacity. It power up my A/C travel hairdryer and my DC refrigerator at the same time without any problem. it show me the watt my device is consuming on the display panel for both AC or DC devices. You can continue use the device during charging. There is 2 separate button to turn on/off AC or DC power.
i got 18w output when i am charging my phone through PD or USB-QC3.0; It even charge my Dell laptop with a PD-cigarette plugged in DC, i got approx. 20.2v/37w output to my laptop.
The power station get charged itself with 88w from the main power adapter. It get charged with 40w from my 60w solar panel in a spring sunny day, and still get couple of watt charging even when the sun moved behind a cloud. When i charge the station through car cigarette port, it only get charging when the car engine is on. turned off charging when the engine is off to protect the car battery.
This power pack does what it says on the box, I’ve used it for charging USB, 12v and even ran a 240v smart TV 32inch for over two hour with more than 50% battery left. Then using my solar panels recharged the unit back to full power for free.
This portable power unit is a great bit of kit for camping, or just as an emergency source of power carried around in the back of the car.
It can be charged from home mains via the supplied AC home charger, via the 12V car charger cable (also supplied) or via a 40W solar panel which unfortunately is an optional extra, but this would have been nice to include even if it made the unit more expensive, as then you would have the complete kit. It takes just over 3 hours to fully charge from the mains,, and 5-6 hours from a car 12V socket. The company claims a 4-5 hour charge time from the solar panel, but I can’t confirm this.
Fully charged it carries 99Wh, in its Lithium ion battery – enough to recharge my iphone 8-9 times, my DJI mini drone 3x.
It can power a 30W device for almost 3 hours.
It has 2 USB A connectors, one USB c and a 3 pin plug. The USB sockets can provide power while the device is being charged, but the 3 pin plug will not pass a charge while the battery itself is charging.
A nice bright LCD panel shows the charge held in the battery, as well as the power output to plugged in devices. The DC and USB outputs will power off in 20 seconds if nothing is connected, the AC power output needs to be enabled with a separate switch, and will not be powered off until the battery is drained or the AC button pressed again.
The unit is completed with a bright LED light panel with an on/off switch.
All in all this is a solidly constructed well made battery pack that had found a place in the book of my car for camping and hiking trips over the last 3 months and has proved very useful.
SinKeu Portable Power Station,27000mAh is a little yet mighty power generator which not only works by being charged up through mains but also additionally you can charge it by using solar power.
This small and very light device is full of power and for a professional photographer like it, nowadays it’s a must on location shoots. Fantastic power output for my laptop that lasts me for hours.
Many charging options from normal socket through to usb port, this is a must have for any household not only for a professional.
The power generator also doubles up as a torch in case of a power cut.
Really handy and cheap for what you get, this is a staple piece of kit to take me on any journey.
When charging my laptop with power adapter, the thing makes a disturbing buzzing noise, but works fine
First thoughts:
Pros
Large storage capacity to power or charge devices.
High enough output to recharge a AGM car battery via a vehicle mains charger.
AC and DC voltage output.
Various ports and charging options including 3-pin plug and 12v vehicle sockets.
Cons
Nothing to note so far.
A versatile all-around power station with the added bonus of numerous output interfaces. Works well as a portable power station for my photography equipment (camera/drone batteries, field monitors, LED banks), and other low power devices. The USB-C port wasn’t able to power some of my video equipment but they require a higher voltage through dedicated chargers.
The USB-C port can trickle charge my Ultrabook, but if I try to use it at the same time the laptop complains that it is not receiving enough power for high performance modes and to use a higher voltage charger (this was to be expected though).
It has enough power output to run my Smart charger for my car battery, and can hold enough charge to recharge the AGM battery from less than 10% to above 90% in a couple of hours. This provides a great emergency support kit for the car that doesn’t require a household mains connection.
Details and things to note (See pictures and video):
Mini portable power station with 2x 12v outputs to car adapters, 1x 12v input for charging the power station, 2x USB outputs, 1x USB-C output and a 3-Pin UK outlet for low voltage devices.
There is a toggle control for AC and DC output and an emergency light on the back. This light can also be set to SOS signalling.
Can charge mobile devices and can run/power a surprising variety of equipment.
Final thoughts:
I am very impressed with this given what it can do for the size and price that it is. Most importantly I was surprised that I was able to actually charge my car AGM sport battery in situ without connecting the smart charger to the mains. Simply connecting the mains charger to this power station managed to charge the battery, giving me an excellent emergency system when I’m away in unpopulated areas for prolonged periods of time for photography.
I’m happy to recommend this based on the multitude of uses it has.
I have a couple of power banks @ 20,000mah that are the size and shape of perhaps two smartphones laid one on top of the other. So this thing is substantially bigger, why? Well I guess the dc to AC transformer to allow you to charge devices that use a plug
I also have a laptop that is charged via USBc. So actually, I’m not sure I need this guy all that much. I don’t go camping, if the power went out I guess it would be useful but, tbh I’m set with existing power chargers for a few days…
Look it works, it’s bulky but necessarily so if you have a couple of devices that only charge via a 3 pin plug. Or if you go camping. So I’ve given it 4 stars because for a certain set of people, the price and general just ‘does what it says on the tin,’ performance, will make this a solid choice.
Just not all that useful for this urban hermi
This is a well made useful device.
This is essentially a power bank with the added advantage of having a 250V output as well. Because of this it is more versatile than a standard power bank as it has not only the 250V output but also 12V DC and 5V USB outputs including quick charge.
It also comes with a car charger lead and an adapter that has a car type (cigar lighter) socket which adds to its versatility.
The 250V output states “modified sine wave” which is a really a very ragged output, however it did not upset either my router or other electronic devices I tried it with.
The only downside I can see is that the AC output cannot be used while charging this means that it can’t be used as a UPS for something like a router which would have been useful.
Bought as emergency backup to run router in power cut and recharge smaller power banks. Can recharge from small solar panel. Nice design. Easy to use. Light weight. Good value.
Look, I’ve a very basic problem here. This thing advertises itself as a solar generator but does NOT come with solar panels. It seems a reasonable price, except that if you try to buy the solar panels separately you will have to pay at least another 100. There are perfectly good kits on the market that are true solar generators which only cost around 130. So why fork out for this? The answer may be that given our diabolical climate you would be crazy to rely on solar power for your camping trip. It is much wiser to take a generator you can charge from the mains or from your car. This is where this battery really comes into its own. It charges efficiently, is highly portable, and has enough outlets to keep the whole family happy. It is also highly competitively priced. If you drop the ‘solar generator’ tag this seems an excellent deal.
This is an impressive piece of kit which will have multiple uses for us when we next go travelling around the UK. It can recharge multipole phones and laptops and can be used as an immediate power source for them as well as things like lamps and radios. The USB and UK 3 pin plug outputs are super useful.
The unit can be charged using the usb A and C ports and via the car charger connection. It can also be charged via solar power if you have a compatible solar power panel – so a cheap, environmentally friendly, energy efficient way to run your phones, tablets and laptops
The light function is useful too and will be great next time we have a power cut as well as for camping.
It would have been even better if it had supported more powerful devices like a vacuum cleaner or jet washer; that would have allowed some outside tasks without needing to use an extension cable, but it is a really good, handy, piece of kit even without that capability
So, in terms of the unboxing experience, all is good. This item comes well packaged and feels like a nice quality item to me.
The size is difficult to describe. If you have seen a 10″ Echo Show, it’s not dissimilar to one of those in terms of size. I’ve tried to illustrate with my photos.
So, I’ve got A LOT of powerbanks of all sizes, including several, way smaller, 27,000mAh powerbanks than this one. So, why the appeal of the much bulkier item that I’m reviewing here? Well, the main feature of this one is the 3 pin UK AC output, which allows me to power any mains-powered gadget on the go, as long as it doesn’t need more than 150w.
To be honest, for me, this is an item that will be absolutely invaluable at times, but those times might be a year or more apart. It’s a bit niche. In a power cut, it could be invaluable. Also, when I need an AC outlet for a short while, but don’t have one nearby – invaluable. For day-to-day use? I can generally use my much smaller powerbanks.
I gave this a test by plugging my Echo Show 8″ (2nd Gen) into the AC output, and after 8 hours, the powerbank had dropped 2 of its 5 bars on the power level indicator. I’m guessing it would have powered that 8″ screen for about 20 hours, which is pretty impressive, albeit, I wasn’t using the speakers on the Echo Show. The 8″ Show uses a modest 3 to 4w of power (as is very usefully displayed on the unit’s screen in real-time), so not overly demanding.
The display on the unit is very nice and is back-lit. There are several buttons on the unit – one to control the built in light, which is plenty bright, particularly for indoor use, a power button and a button for switching between the various types of power output.
Another useful feature, is that with the provided leads, you can power any device that is designed to be powered by a cigarette lighter output. Once again, for me, great for occasional needs, perhaps if I was a regular camper, this would be used way more regularly.
I think I shall most regularly use this unit for plugging my laptop into when working outside. I’m guessing it’ll roughly double the amount of time that I can work away from a power outlet, but that’s just a guess.
How does it compare to other similar items? Well, at the time of review, the price seemed a little too much, but then I noticed there was a voucher available by ticking a box, which brought the price to 90 pounds. This seems reasonable against the competition, especially given that the unit goes to 150w (100w is common in this price range).
Of course, if size isn’t an issue, this is also great for charging phones, tablets etc on the go, but despite being at the upper limit of what’s legal to carry on a flight (at 27,000mAh), I think this is more an item that you’d take on trips within the UK, camping trips mainly, rather than abroad. Also great for using in the garden. Want to take a table lamp outside, a projector or small TV? Not a problem with this powerbank.
As the description clearly states though, not an item that will power more demanding items like hair dryers, fridges, toasters etc. Also be aware that it has no weather-proofing.
Even though this item will only get occasional use, I have to say, that it gets top marks for filling those occasional needs. I can’t fault it.
If this review was helpful, please let me know by clicking the button below. Thanks!
This is a brilliant little thing. A massive power bank with 2 USB ports 1 USB-C port a car cigarette lighter port for running from the car and a emergency white light that can flash like a strobe light great for back of the car if you break down. On the side you get a uk 3 pin plug socket that is brilliant for me to charge my RC car batteries see video. Definitely recommend this one for sure.
Was in the garden yesterday with our kitchen radio plugged in 3 pin socket for 2 hours and the battery did not even loose 1 square from the level meter.
I purchased this as, due to COVID, we have decided to take longer road trips around the country. We decided on this for the trips when we were to camp overnight or to use when on the move. It is working out well for us so far. It charges very quickly and is able to easily power our electronics for long periods of time due to the large battery capacity.
It has 6 ports for output. 1 is a 230V AC power socket, with 2x DC output ports, 2x standard USB ports and 1x USB C port. These all play a part in keeping our laptops, tablets phones charged as well as camping spot-lights and electric camping stoves powered up. Also provided are a standard socket plug and car charger which are both used to charge the power station.
The LCD screen gives an indication of battery life remaining and the state of the battery when it is charging. The light on it as well is powerful and bright whilst still being low powered, which is great!
Very impressed with it overall and I highly recommend it.
