This was a great purchase and gets used most weekends. It goes up really quickly exactly the same as a normal umbrella but with the addition of some extra sides with ground spikes.
It comfortably seats two seats under it and gives great protection from the sun as well as wind and rain.
This is amazing . I first saw one on a beach and thought I must have one . So easy to open and close and gives sun and rain protection . So glad I spotted it didn’t know you could get these. Great item !!
Fantastic, totally love this shelter! Got the XL size and there’s plenty of room for two chairs under it. Cant wait to try it out now! Would definitely recommend.

Can be deployed and secured in two minutes, far better than struggling with a windbreak on the beach or anywhere else for that matter. Pegs supplied suitable for use on sand or grass, although we bought some longer ones which are better on sand. Easily moved if the wind direction changes. We use two which combine to make a spacious shelter but haven’t seen what its like in the rain yet.
I purchased this item in red at a reasonable price though it was more expensive than blue. It arrrived quickly, I erected it in my garden overnight to check the process and practicality! It stayed safe and secure with the thinnest ground pegs! We have now used it for my grandsons cricket matches in rain, wind (using the guy ropes) and mostly sun this summer. We have to remember to open the vents to allow airflow in the heat. It’s so quick to erect and pack away. Its light and convenient to carry with all our other equipment and although it doesn’t fit width ways in my car boot it fits between the doors and seats when space is at a premium! It has been a godsend and other parents are buying or planning to buy them! I didn’t order XL as there is usually only 2/3 of us using it and it’s big enough!
Have purchased two of these now. Excellent pieces of kit. Goes up and down in a matter of seconds. Large shelter, easily stored and to carry.
Used mainly on the beach, salt has corroded the metal around the eyelets but my first one is five years old now.
This is a very effective windbreak and is surprisingly warm when facing the sun with the wind behind you!
Excellent for beach, garden or day trips. It’s big to carry around but it provides a brilliant shelter for 2 adults and 2 kids to picnic (used on its side, I’ve never rtied it like a parasol).
It was a Christmas present, we have one already and they are great, though now much more expensive than when I bought mine 3 years ago.

It takes a few minutes to put it up but well worth it. You do have to get the angle and height of the pole right otherwise you cannot anchor the side flaps down.

My only negative is that Amazon recommend you buy the Fladen Brolly Spike. I ordered one and unfortunately the Sport Brella doesn’t fit into it. That’s a shame because a brolly spike would have been useful on harder ground.
I spent ages agonising over whether to get the sport brella or the super brella. Visiting the sklz.com website was helpful as it revealed the sport brella is the better quality one (more metal parts rather than plastic ones) so that’s the one I went for. I was also unsure whether to get the XL version of the sport brella which is 1 foot wider but having seen regular sized one in person it’s already large and I think it will suit us perfectly.

Excellent item. We bought this for our recent holiday to Cornwall as we were expecting a bit of sun and thought this would be an ideal way to keep our little one out of the sun. On the one sunny day we had, this umbrella done the trick & was much quicker to put up than the tent/shelters you can buy. We also used this on the beach on a rather rainy & windy day and surprised to say that it performed very well in the strong winds. Great purchase and highly recommend
We’re off on our holibobs to France this Sunday and, with the weather hotting up, we’ll be heading to the beach. I’m not much of a beach person (unlike wifey) so I was after something to make my time on the sand more bearable. Previously we’ve used one of those pop-up tents, but it never really worked — small, hot inside, at risk of blowing away (even when fixed to the sand), providing little shade, difficult to put down. So I was on the search for something better, more substantial and effective, but still portable (at least for the car). This arrived today and I just tried it out in the garden (it’s 32-degrees today in the UK) and I already love it! It’s huge, easy to put up (and importantly put down again), about the same size folded up as a garden parasol but weighs less. Not sure if we’d pack this if we were flying but we’re taking the car so we’ll have room. I bought some kind of extra umbrella fixing thing which was recommended at the time of purchase but haven’t tried that yet. I’ll update my review here when we’re back to report how it (and I) survived the beach, but I have high hopes and I’m not dreading the sand now!

This is an excellent piece of kit. Actually does go up in seconds (I was a bit skeptical about that part!). I use it for when I watch my son play cricket to provide either shade (occasionally required) or wind protection (much more frequently) for me & my dog. This may be more expensive than some offered but it is a good sturdy product complete with pegs and carry bag and overall I am very pleased with
Superb umbrella have used this all summer to keep the dog and myself sheltered from the sun when needed.

Brilliant shelter for our needs. Can seat two adults in folding chairs easily and space for another if they don’t mind sitting on the floor. We use the space at the back to keep all our belongings secure and have a small camping stove on the go to do a bit of cooking and a kettle!
Easy to put up and down. The pegs aren’t great-we bought stronger ones but overall-I love this. Always get lots of admiring glances and comments.

Excellent product have used it for sports events and festivals and have no complaints but what would be a really good accessory would be a clear cover that covers the front of the brolly to protect you from rain that is coming direct at you from the fro

Excellent product. Not much bigger than a usual beach parasol although a bit heavier. Can be waited into the sand or pegged down on grass.

As someone who can sunburn in April, this sports brella has been brilliant this year. I can sit in the shade, and others can join me, or sit in the sun nearby. It has also been good for rainy concerts, just sit at the back of a section, and the brella doesn’t block anyone else’s view. Enough room underneath for 2 largeish deckchairs, coolbox and all the other items needed for a day on the beach. Really pleased with it.

Even though I had read previous reviews and the product details, I was still surprised by the open size of the umbrella. The size is an advantage when sheltering – we have found it very comfortable for two adults, but a disadvantage when storing. We had hoped to keep it in the boot of our car, but it is very slightly too long to fit across the car (so I advise checking dimensions, if that’s what you have in mind!).
The umbrella is of reasonable quality and has no obvious manufacturing flaws. The pegs were a little oxidised when they arrived, but that doesn’t impact upon their function – just a little annoying to have a non-pristeen new product.
In use, the umbrella seems very stable, though we haven’t used it in strong wind. The shade generated, provided you align it with the sun appropriately, is generous.
I would recommend for use as a shelter on the beach or in the park, especially if you have children. It is quick to put up, relatively easy to carry, and provides reasonable coverage usable by adults and children alike.

Use it on the beach. It is heavy to carry far, but I have a beach cart so no problem. It goes up fast and gives good shade for two low seats. Also cuts down on children’s noise. Gives excellent protection from wind and rain.
I thought I had the best beach tent, until I forgot to pack it and ordered this one whilst on holiday. The Sport-Brella is easy to put up and put away, fits 4 people and copes on a windy beach with the guy ropes attached.

This is fantastic- well made, light and easy to carry, fast and simple to put up and take down. Provides excellent shelter from the sun on the beach for my young children. Not tried it in the wind yet but seems sturdy. I keep telling other people to get one!
On receiving the umbrella it came in a very nice carry holdall which is red to go with the red umbrella too. The red is bright red so at fishing i stuck out like a sore thumb. (but i love red and the colour is great
We went fishing on monday just got and the weather was terrible all day. On setting up i took it out of the case and opened it up and to my surprise its huge and very good size, i was able to sit under the umbrella very easily with a chair and mange to have all my fishing equipment under it to and keep myself dry, it rained all day and we was there from 9am till 6pm and the umbrella withstood the rain all day, the only parts where the water got in was on the sun shield visors not much water got in but they are more for getting ventilation from the heat.
it was very easy to set-up and comes with all the pegs that you will need to hold the umbrella down. some of the pegs are rather impressive and are a good size to hold down the sides and it wont bend as they are rather strong and a circle head on the peg to use a mallet to hit in.
i would recommend this for all types of use as it would be great for a sun shield or in my case for keeping dry in the rain and was great for fishing.
the only thing which was annoying but is the same with these types of umbrellas that it is hard to get back in the case

The Brella is easy to put up and really effective and roomy.I have only tried the garden as yet but will be using it on the beach too. It stayed put on a windy day with no problems as it is well secured with the strong metal pins that come with it. I am not sure how it would be with dry sand but I think its a great item and it appears well made.
Just put umbrella up in the garden and it looks great! Think it will be perfect for the windy beaches in Cornwall in the summer. A peg was missing but a quick call with Amazon Customer Services has sorted that out, so very happy and have recommended product to others.
At last a sport shelter that is easy to put up for one person, just like a slightly heavier version of a sun brolly. Plenty of room inside for two chairs and people (one rather tall) and their equipment, in this case archery. Doesn’t take up a lot of room in the car although it is quite long (about 4′) and has a carrying handle on the cover so easy to transport. First tried on quite windy day, but using the pegs supplied with it, was really stable. At this price you couldn’t ask for more.
I bought this to use at a friends outdoor wedding thinking it would be perfect to shade us in the sunshine, which it would have been if it hadn’t chucked it down all day! So instead we used it as a shelter, my partner thought I was wasting money on something that was a gimmick, but that turned out totally differently once he was sat cosy and dry under it! We were I fact dryer than most that day and nearly everyone wanted to join us under it!! We also used it for a sunny day picnic and it’s wonderful, you really do need to make sure you peg it down, and secure it properly, the windy/rainy day was no problem at all with all the pegs in the ground, highly recommended!

All I can say is this is excellent in every way! Its so easy to use. and looks pretty cool too!
Very sturdy and even if its a very hot day, if you are sitting under the umbrella, it really cools you down. I am pregnant and the heat has been getting to me and with this, its easier to cope with the heat.
delivered quickly. comes with own bag and is quite thin-about as thick as a normal golf umbrella when collapsed. Seems sturdy-although haven’t put up in a reasonable wind yet. In all very happy with product.
Bought this for sporting fixtures, and as a shelter is has been really excellent, easy to put up, easy to fold away, and offering decent protection from the sun. It is light and easy to carry around and store. The only thing is the upright which limits the usability of the space inside the shelter. Unfortunately it ended up being used as a large umbrella at the last cricket match, but did an admirable job at that (so long as the vents are closed!). This has been much admired, I hope it stands up to a few more year’s use.
Have used it in the garden as a sun shade for grand-children and have just got back from North Devon and have used it every day as a beach shelter, wind breaker and sun-shade. Excellent!! Lots of other holiday makers asked were we had purchaed it because they were very impressed. Easy to assemble and desemble!!

This is a great idea and works brilliantly as a shelter, but as it is in umbrella form it is quite bulky & heavy so make sure you have a big enough boot to fit it.
Just opened my umbrellat today although I’ve had it for a couple of months. I bought it to use at various outdoor dog shows at which I show my dogs.
Initially, I was delighted with this – just what I needed. However, the ferule which is supposed to cover the top of the umbrella (where it’s gathered) was missing, making it look a wee bit ragged. Being married to a hoarder, I found one in a box which did the job, but it took the shine off it a bit.
If the company reads this review, I’d be glad to receive a spare, please.

I saw this and read the reviews about how good it is, it looked like a good product but was a little expensive so I did sleep on it, but decided to buy the next day. It arrived in a huge box which had me thinking I had made a bit of a mistake, but when we opened it we realised it wasn’t as big as the box thankfullly! – I can safely say it’s about 5 foot high, and comes in a little case which can be thrown over the shoulder really easily, we opened it up on the beach and it took about 2 minutes to set up, the spike comes out of the bottom which you stick into the ground, this is enough in light wind and guide ropes which are included, are not really needed.
It came with special pegs to peg it all in including the side panels, we used it all day, as a family of 5 with all our bits and bobs in and it never faltered, it was as sturdy when we took it down as it was when we put it up, and to be honest, without it, the day would have been awful!! – this is simply a great product and it had everyone staring at us, thinking where we bought this amazing thing from!
I love the side panels and tie down panels which make it more cosy to use, and if the beach is crowded you really feel you have your own private space, the spike is strong and it all seems well made.
Probably the purchase of the year so far for me, really recommend it for going out to the park, beach etc. Amazon as usual were brilliant.

Really well built and sturdy – have tried in garden and this is fantastic. So easy when compared to the tent type beach shelters, up and down in seconds. And it is huge – we’ve bought 2, one for us and one for the girls, but one shelters us all easily anyway!

My husband was a bit skeptical when I bought this shelter for our 2 week holiday in the Maldives but this is one of the best purchases I have made. I kept it in the bag it arrived in and it travelled well in the hold although in hindsight I should have opened it first and taken out the guy ropes and metal rods as they wore slightly on the inner side of the umbrella but only cosmetic marks. When we arrived, the only shade was under trees and we were prone to mosquito bites so having the umbrella was a luxury. The first week was a bit breezy but with the guy ropes attached there was no way it was going to blow away. I used it as the umbrella rather than the shelter and managed to put it up in 2 seconds with a further couple of minutes if the guy ropes were attached. Others on the Island were envious of our shade and I heartily recommend this product.

This is EXACTLY what we wanted and is going to be a boon for us on our local pebble beach (no doubt attracting more customers to purchase, once they’ve seen it). We are so pleased we came across the Umbrella Shelter as we were trying to think of something that would hold on a beach if it were a windy day and a normal, standard beach umbrella wouldn’t do it without flopping all over the place – this, we are sure, will be perfect.

This was something I just had to buy when I saw one of my friends at a picnic with it, it was so handy – doubling up as a mini shelter/umbrella.
Made of good quality fabric and really portable – perfect for family picnics or trips to the beach!
I saw sommething like this when my 10 year old son was playing cricket for Surrey on a hot and sunny day. It looked like it was just what i wanted as our 6 month old baby comes with us to all the games. When it arrived the package had been thrown around and the carry case was damaged. Through Amazon the retailer eventually agreed to swap the case, but it wasn’t possible as it’s essential to transport the shelter. Having said this, the shelter was a great success when rain or sun. Easy to erect and catches the eye. everybody that saw this, was asking where we got it from and i’m sure it’ll be a popular feature at our son’s cricket matches next season.
I bought this product to use at dog agility shows and it has been excellent. It has been used to protect people and dogs from wind, rain and sun so far and has been extremely useful. Good size, quality and ease of use.
