I wanted something easy to use at the campground. It’s really ready to go. Just set up and start using! Easy cleanup the next day and everything burns down to ash. Great!
This pit is outstanding! Fits great in an existing stone area we have and burns with no smoke! Awesome!!!!
This pit is fantastic. Barely any smoke, easy to light & puts off some great hea
There is almost absolutely no smoke, and we’re so used to doing the “move you chair dance” when having a bonfire. The heat radiates out from the Solo so much better to everyone sitting around it. It’s like having a propane gas heater you see at restaurants. We are so excited to purchase the top extender to even direct the heat upwards a little bit. We did not buy the little stand it sits in, and it sits on the driveway just fine, but we think we may eventually purchase that. It’s so nice having a bonfire on a dry driveway and sitting on chairs on an even surface- so much safer when older people come to our get togethers! The metal material looks so classy too. At our last get-together, people were so impressed and are soon going to be ordering one as well. We’ve had a couple in the last ten years, and they’ve been a couple hundred dollars; the price of the Solo was reasonable too. It will be interesting to see how it looks in a year. This is a MUST-PURCHASE.
This Fire pit was the star of my outdoor party.
This lights up very easy. Has a little smoke just at start then cranks right along. The ranger ring is great so I can put it direct on deck and not worry about it. This stove is portable size to go with you when you camp. I can also use it on my patio next to my convertable with no worries of ash getting on my top because the ash screen stops anything from flying away. I purchase on Prime Day so price for bundle was Great.
Got this at a reduced price because it was sold as used, plus reward points. It showed no signs of use. Packaging was slightly damaged. It arrived on time and there were some slight dents, but barely noticeable. Works great, like other reviewers stated it smokes
on initial start up then burns clean.
Works great for a backyard setup. Doesn’t burn the grass even when set right on top of it.
Works as described. Easy to move and easy to clean. Recommend it for backyard or remote enjoyment.
This firepit is amazing! I’m allergic to most firewood and haven’t been able to sit out with the family when they have a fire due to the smoke causing me to have an asthma attack. We bought this to see how it works. I’m happy to say that I can finally sit outside with the family and enjoy watching the fire because this firepit doesn’t smoke much at all. Yay!!!
I wish I could give this more stars!! We love this! It’s so perfect for the veranda.
My wife was dying to get one of these but wouldn’t but it she got it for Mother’s Day. She loves campfires but hates smelling like one for days. This little guy puts off next to no smoke, makes it SUPER easy to get a roaring fire going, and packs away with ease. I’m so glad I bought one for her and she is absolutely thrilled with it!
Lobe the size & quality of this solo stove. Heats really nicely and I love that I can move it anywhere in my yard or on my deck!
It looks good, creates a brilliant flame which makes it look even better and burns hot so ash is all that it left. I was worried about cleaning it but as it turns out that is easy too.
Brilliant and worth the extra investment over a basic fire pit. The whole family loves it.

This fire pit is great for nights when you want an outdoor fire but don’t want to smell like a chimney. Very easy to set up and get the fire going. I also like that I can put it on my wood deck.
For bigger fires, I have another pit but this one is great for the few hours after work relaxing with a beverage.
This is the BEST! I read several reviews and I agree. Minimal smoke, no one smelled like a bonfire, super easy to use. It took me longer to collapse the boxes than putting the Yukon solo fire pit together!
My husband always has fires at night. Like EVERY night. Every year I have to purchase a new fire pit because it get used so much. When he first asked me about getting a SOLO I said “no way, too expensive “. But for Father’s Day, I splurged. Not disappointed. Super quality and I know it will last for YEARS. Puts off great heat. Minimal ash, minimal smoke, (definitely a huge plus). Would definitely recommend. Only downfall that I can see, is you can’t really see the fire much. But he’s happy so I’m happy

wow. easy to light. little to no smoke. i found it hot to sit around, but cools quickly as the wood burns. jacket patatos were good. big enough for our small garden as its only the two of us.
my expectations were high due mainly to the high cost. those have been met.
burn good dry wood. if it’s wet or green then you will get smoke.
the flames are mesmerising.
buy it and enjoy.
This product has exceeded our expectations. We are very impressed with it! It radiates off more heat than any fire pit We have used and there is no smoke. Very happy with this purchase!
Bought this on the recommendation of a neighbor and I a so glad I did. It’s the best fire pit we ever owned. Burns clean and virtually smoke free.

We couldn’t wait to receive the Yukon and we weren’t disappointed. It’s big and looks great. No smoke once it was well under way and heat it throws out is phenomenal. Glad we bought the bundle, but wish it had had an option for a bundle with a lid. We’ve ordered one separately now as it would be so messy if it rained in the night having used it the evening before. We are very pleased with it in every way.

Have to stand or sit right on top of it to feel any heat.. no trap door to empty all the ash, gets very messy to clean.
This thing is not like other fire pit, you won’t see any smoke coming out of it. Also, the customer service was fantastic since i got a damaged product and that happened while transportation.
Haven’t used this yet but seems very sturdy. Looks nice too. Bought a lid for it (extra). Also bought a protective pad for underneath. Will update this review in the Spring.
Bought this for my son’s birthday and he absolutely loved it. He is very critical when it comes to almost anything and for him not to find a flaw means it is A OK.
Dislike: made in China (company headquarter in Texas- you think company from Texas would not deal with China –
Like : Price – I got it 150.00 less than other places ( I was not going to pay what they were asking …
Going to use it for camping this yea
How the heat radiated from stainless steel. How close you can to firepit without the hassle of smoke!
The only problem I can see with the Yukon unit that it’s quite large and unless you are a strong person you will have trouble dumping the ashes unless you have a ash vacuum cleaner. I think they should go back to the drawing board and figure out how to put some handles on it that won’t take away from the sleek design. As far as people complaining about the discoloration from the heat I like the bronze look. Highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t live in the woods.

On the ranch we had bonfires and they weren’t a big deal but now we live in town we need to be careful and follow fire safety. This burner will make that easy.
Only negative is it could use two more features. Handles for ease of movement, and a port at the bottom to make it easier to vacuum ashes out.
I had this thing stacked and crankin.. the photo shows how efficiently the Yukon burns down.. even with a fire that’s petered out, it still puts out plenty of hea
With the unique design it builds a great “hot” fire. I used it for the first time over Thanksgiving-it was a hit of the party. My only negative comment is the packaging. The first solo stove I received had a large dent in the side. I email amazon and they quickly replaced it with new one-no questions asked. Great customer service.
We bought a nine name brand one and had to return it cuz it was crap. But this one is everything we wanted, you can sit around it all night and not reek of smoke. Burns everything down to ash and is right size for a roaring bonfire for 10 or and intimate s’mores fire for 2.
The solo Ranger is a great little stove in hindsight I think we should have bought the bonfire instead. But nevertheless it’s a great little stove brings his outside to sit around it and enjoy it, cleans easy and is very portable.
It puts off an amazing fire and heat output! I can’t wait till it starts to cool down, this thing will be getting a lot of use!!
It’s a smaller footprint over my last fire pit but that’s ok, because it burns hotter, and it looks a lot better as well.
It’s pricey, but getting rid of all that smoke is a fair trade off
What a great piece of gear! We take camping in the motorhome and have never been disappointed. Everything fully burns, by morning very few ashes to left to clean out, which is a breeze.
I love this product. It’s not totally smoke free but for the most part it does a great job in that regard. Once you get the fire rolling, there’s pretty much no smoke. I can sit by the fire all night and not have the smoke smell infest my clothes. It’s really easy to get a fire going in this. The only knocks are the price (kind of expensive) and you burn through a lot of wood quickly. I’ve also read that the pit doesn’t radiate heat like a normal fire pit and I would agree. You’ll have to get closer to it to feel the heat. But I see that as a plus during summer nights.
Absolutely perfect. No smoke once you get it going strong… puts out waves of heat and is the most aesthetically appealing fire output I’ve ever seen. And clean up afterwards is so minimal. Just go for it!!!!
We love our Yukon and spend so much time gathered around it. I’ve always had to leave a campfire because of the smoke, but we sit around our Solo stove for hours. The flames fly upward almost like a vortex or tornado. It’s sometimes a little smoky getting started, but that goes away fairly quickly. I’d also highly recommend getting the lid – it allows you to leave the fire a bit sooner once the flames are out and it’s just smoldering coals.
One of my best purchases, no assembly required, just set it up, easy to use, and wow, does it burn efficiently, great out on the patio, very happy with this purchase and recommend to anyone who wants a heat source on a patio.
We love it! When we had fires before, the smoke always blew in our faces and into our neighbors yard. So it stopped us from having gatherings around the firepit. NOW that we have the Solo we don’t have to worry! No more smoke in our faces or our neighbors yard! We absolutely LOVE it!!!
Decided on a Ranger as it fits my need for portability and size. Got the bundle so it came with the ranger, shield, bottom ring, weather cover, and storage bag. Everything seems well made. No issues as far as craftsmanship that i can see. Only improvement i can recommend is the storage bag, it needs to be enlarged a bit as the current fit is too precise to the ranger’s size that removing and replacing the storage bag is a bit difficult.
Be aware that due to the Ranger’s size, you will need to cut down your logs as regular sized logs are too big to fit below the secondary burn holes.
My initial burn gave off a horrible chemical smell. Wasn’t sure if it’s the wood, the ranger, or the shield, but will have to do a few more burns and see if it improves. Smokes a bit when first lighted but once the fire gets going it does improve immensely. Definitely not smoke free by any means but it is a night and day difference compared to traditional fire pits. When the fire starts roaring the flames due rise up pretty high, so definitely keep that in mind in regards to where you plan to have the fire. This thing heats up super hot, especially directly above the pit. It still provides some radiant heat outwards about three feet away. The radiant heat is mostly from the top of the pit, feet level will not get any heat at all. Actually you can touch the bottom of the pit while it’s roaring and it’ll still be comfortable enough to touch bare handed. Once the fire is out the coals that are left do still provide a very strong heat source.
The shield is a toss up. I started my fire without it and some small embers did escape. When i placed the shield the same type of embers still escaped. Perhaps it’s meant to prevent potential large embers?
Once coals are left, it takes about an hour for the stove to be cool enough to handle and move. I let the stove burn it’s self out over night. The stove is so efficient whats left is just a small clump of ash. To clean you just turn it over and give it a few strong taps.
All in all i do enjoy my purchase. Only real gripes are the cutting down of logs (might get tedious after a while), the chemical smell (hopefully improves after a few burns), and the tight fitting storage bag.
If you have space for one, go for bonfire. Not needing to cut down your logs is a huge benefit. But if you’re aware of that, need something smaller and more portable, go for the ranger.
Great safe way to have a fire without much smoke. Gets nice and hit and doesn’t burn as much wood as I thought it would.
We had it sitting on packed snow and it barely sank in. Maybe not ideal for marshmallows since the flame is pretty concentrated, but it can be done if you let the fire burn down a bit. Then stoke it back up when done cooking marshmallows.
I love an open fire and could have a fire every night if I had the time, but my wife is allergic to trees, so she is affected by the smoke more than others. I thought that I would give the “Smokeless” fire pit a try. I looked at other brands and was put off by some build quality complaints, while this one was praised for build quality. I was really looking forward to spending more time with her around a fire and seeing how it really performs vs all the hype. I can say that I was VERY impressed in so many ways. It’s very easy to get a fire going since it breathes so well, and once it gets going, it puts out a lot of beautiful flames, nearly zero smoke, and an insane amount of heat (manageable heat… I’ll explain). While the fire seems to be focused and you get ALL the heat from it, you really get the heat in an upward cone shape away from the pit. In other words, if you sit around the fire, you get heat, but not super intense. If you stand up and get near the pit, you step into the area that the heat radiates, and it does radiate a LOT of heat. Even as the fire dies down and you only have a couple logs burning, you feel more heat that a roaring fire in other open pits (minus the smoke of course). The pit itself is beautiful, the operation is fantastic, there’s nearly zero smoke, and most of all, you don’t smell like a fire pit at the end of the evening (that’s a huge plus). I followed up the purchase with a base and a lid, and now they are selling a handle to move it around as well. This is one of the most exciting purchases I’ve made in quite some time. It’s truly a surprise to get something that really lives up to what it promised and so much more. I really did get a lot more heat and used less wood over the course of the evening. I’m confident that you’ll love this product ( I am in no way endorsed by Solo Stove, nor did they ask me to write a review of any kind). I hope this helps someone out there make a solid decision.

This fire pit is incredible! The thing is pretty much smokeless! We sat by it for hours and by the end of the night, we didn’t stink like fire! Also, there was in issue with picking the order and customer service immediately took care of it. Thanks again!
62 Years old. Never enjoyed sitting by a campfire more. Exhaust but no smoke. Family vacation to Gulf Shores Alabama with kids and grand kids, didn’t even bother the alligator that walked by us 20 feet away. If you are on the fence, time to jump off. No smoke smell in clothes, great product!
As with many others here, I like this fire pit a lot.
It completely burns everything and gives off tons of heat.
However, just fair warning, it is somewhat heavy 40-50lbs, so when you dump your ashes in the green waste or wherever you send them, it’s a little on the unwieldy side to move around. Maybe get a shovel and scoop it out instead.
But that would be my only complaint. It’s great otherwise.
op of fire ring is not thick enough, all dented, and warped. The top ring needs to be thicker very disappointed, the rest is great.
I like the quality of the product. I have the ranger as well and a friend has the bonfire. This one is a little too big to move much. It does require a good bit of wood to get enough heat to get the secondary burn going. It is large enough to keep 6 plus people warm.
A very efficient and attractive fire pit. Well designed with very low smoke initially and once the fire is established no smoke whatsoever. It is very easy to start a fire and the heat is incredible. We are very pleased with this purchase.
Love it. Wish there was a better way to clean it, slow down the air flow and the fire, and a cover to snuff out the fire. But it’s great.
It got dropped off by UPS, As soon as it got here off the box it came, kindling and wood went in and boom we were in business. Its packed very nicely and it was well protected. It does produce a little bit of smoke on start up and during the end of the logs but i was not expecting anything else. When it gets going though its very efficient because of the air flow. It will get a lot of use from me so we will see if it hold up to its legend.
I own a Bonfire and a Yukon. The Bonfire stays in our travel trailer and the Yukon is our backyard
