This air cooler is well designed,works well as a fan however the cooling effects are not exceptional.With the water and the freezer blocks in place it does cool the air slightly .Better than an ordinary fan ,just.
Great bit of kit,got this next day delivery a week before the heatwave/hottest day ever! Absolutely brilliant,fill it with water,fill and freeze the ice boxes provided,stick them in the top,the air blows out cold. Simple. Really light,easy to assemble.
We are still using it now,it’s just nice to stick on of a evening. Are front living room in roughly 5mx5m .

I love the fact it’s quite small but belts out continuous cold air. Life saver during the heatwave

Got this, it’s not AC but as long as you keep it well iced and blowing right on you it feels good.
We’re on the coast so it was a little too humid here for the best effect but it got us through that hot July.
Very easy to set up and use. Lightweight. Very quiet. Great value.
I haven’t yet used the ice packs in it, as the heatwave subsided when this arrived. But it provided very cold air flow with just cold water from the tap.
The “swing” function has quite a wide range. I have mine standing beside my bed & it easily swings to cover me from head to toe.
Easy to fill – just take out the little silicone plug in the top tray & fill the top reservoir until it drains down into the tank at the bottom. Make sure to replace the little silicone plug after filling, otherwise it won’t work properly. In order to work properly with the water-cooled function, the reservoir in the top needs to fill up enough to drain into the smaller section, to drain down the back over the “wet curtain”. It cannot do that unless the plug is replaced.
Very lightweight, even when full to capacity with water. I have problems with my back & was able to lift it onto my kitchen worktop to fill it & back down again once filled.
Very maneuverable. It has 4 little casters on the base (you need to fit these to the bottom before using, as they are not fitted). 2 of the 4 casters have little locks on them, so you can lock them into place to prevent it from moving – handy if you’ve got small kids who might push it around the room.
Pros:
– works very well
– cools the air nicely even without using the ice packs (supplied).
– easily maneuverable with the fitted caster wheels.
– easy to fill.
– easy to use.
– very good swing function & direction control with the front vents.
– lightweight.
– quiet – I had no trouble sleeping with it on full power.
– water tank has a decent capacity & seems to take several hours to use up all the water.
– looks sleek/tidy.
– handy little hand grips for lifting the unit.
Cons:
– buttons feel a bit cheap & look a bit unevenly placed (buttons are different heights even when the unit is off).
– not remote controlled, so you will need to get up & change the settings manually.
– doesn’t appear to have a cut off function to revert it to just a fan if the water tank runs out of water. As it can damage the unit if it runs out of water whilst the water cooling function is on, I would’ve expected a cut out function to prevent damage from occurring.
All in all, it’s a decent little unit. A little overpriced maybe, but it’s more powerful & cools me down during hot weather, which is priceless. I’m glad I ignored the negative reviews/ratings.
As many others have said, this is not an air conditioning system. However, it does exactly what it claims to do and is ideal for cooling you and small areas around you. Easy to use and manoeuvre and a real plus in the recent heatwave.

It does the job. It cools a little bit with only water but if you put a bunch of ice in the holding tank with a little water, and also use freeze botlles in the top water compartment, where the cooling water is drawn from, it cools exceptionally well.
This fan works wonders and keep our room cool. Turning this on kept us comfortable, easy to operate! Sends out a continual busy cool air bib one or many directions.
The water in the chamber didn’t evaporate quickly so could be used over a longish period without toppong up. It’s nowhere near as noisy as my original fanif you load it up with ice packspacks & chilled water it provides lovely cool air.
So glad I made this purchase! Will definitely recommend and friends of family for this unit!
It has on top space, where can be placed cold water with ice or pre freezes bottles. Bottles supplied in box.
I found that I can drop couple drops of fragrance oil into the water and all room instantly freshened with fragrance.
Air can be direct to specific direction as has vertical and horizontal adjustment ventilators, horizontal adjusts automatically and vertical can be done manually.
It also has wheels which helps move around easily also has locking mechanism, so wheels can be locked once moved to right spot.
Overall very clever design, which can adjust room temperature very quickly. So far very happy with it’s performance.
The office was always stuffy and humid and the bedroom due to the super thick curtains rarely gets a breeze unless I leave the curtains open, but then I can’t sleep for the light pouring in after 3am, finding a solution was proving difficult until I find this.
So it is worth buying a few extra ice packs from your local supermarket if you plan to use it constantly, that way you can have some in the freezer while others are in use, but it’s simple really, add cold water (best to run the tap a little until it gets colder) and then add in your ice blocks, switch the device on and viola you have cool air blasting over you.
The units the perfect height for having alongside your desk or bed and it really does instantly cool the body down. You can adjust the fan speed and associated noise to one of three settings. It’s on wheels so easy to move and it has shutters to angle or control the air. The 5L water tank lasts a while, just be careful when moving it with water inside.
Great device, completely worth the money.
