Lovely strong bags. My stick vacuum cleaner would not fit on the suction hole but the hand pump that came with the bags was easy to use and worked well to get the air out of the bags. Very pleased with these bags and do recommend.

I have only used the bags on one occasion to date. I have not tried to open and refill it yet. So far the bags have retained their vacuum and I filled it approximately two months ago.
These are a lifesaver, for both travelling, and for storage at home when it’s time to put away the summer clothes for another 362 days.

The first bag was packed layering the clothes on top of each other but when using the vacuum it squashed up into a lump. Lay the bag flat on the floor and fill, when using the vacuum do it gradually to ensure the clothes remain flat.
I needed big vacuum bags. The first time I have used the manual vacuum pump, ideal while travelling. The pump works well and it is quick. They are the right size for house storage and good for travelling too but due to the bag size I have purchased is right if you have a big luggage. I warmly suggest them.

These bags for storing clothes are ideal, great mix of sizes I managed to pack away my summer wardrobe of dresses and jeans some jackets. I did use the hoover in the end! The pump wasn’t doing very much to get the air out, but the bags are ideal.

I use to store clothes in my ottoman bed. Easy to use and airtight. I have tried other brands that tear or lose air/ these are the best! Always amazed how such a large bag reduces to nothing
Do not buy the JML ones as these are far better to use! The sealed end doesn’t stay sealed on the JML ones but these are great and so easy to use!

These bags were ideal for storing the quilts and winter sheets. They were easy to use, I found that squeezing out lots of the air before zipping the bags up cut down on the amount of time needed to pump out the air. The packs become quite rigid so it’s a good idea to make sure they’re the correct size before pumping out the air.

These sure are ideal for travel as you get a pump, which weighs nothing, that you can pack and thus vacuum your clothing for the return journey.
Medium is actually very big and we tried them out by putting two very thick jumpers in one, which filled the bag. We vacuumed the air out and they reduced to just a few inches.

From reviews I thought I would need these sized bags. Put a double winter duvet and a quilted bed throw in and easily could have fitted more. Am going to store my other winter duvets in the same way as the bags fit neatly in to under bed drawers.
I used these bags on holiday so I could fit the gifts I’d bought in my case on the journey home. I used ONLY the hand pump and no vacuum. I was sceptical it wouldn’t work as well with just the pump but it works perfectly, no need to use a vacuum, everything was super flat and airless with a good seal.
Excellent!!! After scrolling for weeks reading reviews for some decent vacum packs, I come across these. They have held all my winter clothes, so I can store them away nicely over the summer, leaving alot more storage space until then.
I used the pump that comes with it and it took less than 2 minutes to vacum and shrink.

The problem is the product we bought was size small and the capacity in no way matches that as advertised – It’s not even close to the manufacturers claims. Such a huge disappointment.
My advice is completely disregard the small size and opt for one of the larger versions.

It took a while to work out the best way of rolling he bags to take the air out, so you have to keep trying. They do pack down relatively small.

I was sceptical about these sorts of bags as I thought they would gradually inflate once packed. So I tried it, using only the mini pump, with my freshly washed duvet and 4 pillows a week ago in prep for camping. One week later and WOW! Wish I’d got these sooner as it’s a massive space saver in my campervan. Plus it keeps bedding fresh and clean. The only gripe is that the large one is only just big enough for two pillows or one double duvet so for the family I had to use one medium bag per pillow plus the large ones so only left the small ones for clothing.

Functionality good, but disappointed as I bought them for duvets!
but I would forget about the pump that was supplied. Very difficult to use so you would need to be near a vacuum cleaner if you are planning to use them on your holiday.
Great for getting lots of kit packed in to the camper. A couple of the bags got damaged, but that could have happened with the grandkids
It’s a a good medium size bags. The hand pump however, it’s not very useful as it seems to take forever to pump the air out of the bags. Using a vacuum clear is a quicker and more efficient.

These bags seem to be quite strong.
I’ve tried many other vaccuum bags for camping or for storing clothes or bedding, and these seem to be quite strong plastic compared to them which have either split, or got holes in after one use or the valves have failed and caused a nightmare when trying to pack up.
The only issue which is slight is that with the pump I found it took quite a long time to suck the air out of the bags, but with a hoover it was seconds. I would use the pump if I didn’t have access to electric or a hoover at any point though, so it’s nice to have the option.
I would definitely buy them again.
I’m one of those people who keeps retired bedding, towels, and soft furnishings “just in case,” and storing it all has become a challenge. The vacuum bags I’d been using had aged badly so I decided to replace them all. Spacesaver bags are a massive improvement on them.
Pros:
* good sturdy plastic and closures —- they make my old ones look like sandwich bags
* good choice of useful sizes (I bought the mixed box)
* you get a hand pump with them, which is ideal for travel
* really excellent customer service —- I needed replacements and it was all dealt with in a matter of hours after first contacting the company
* surprisingly, they’re cheaper per unit than cheap own-brand bags I bought at a store
No real cons to mention, to be honest, except they just encourage me not to declutter…
The jumbo size really is huge. Their most impressive feat so far is that a jumbo bag completely swallowed a futon, one of those trifold ones you use for a guest bed. It was a real problem to store and now it’s shrunk to a manageable size to shove under the bed.
To make better use of space when you vac the bags, I’d suggest pressing the contents flat while you extract the air, or you might not be able to stack them neatly. You can do it single-handed —- I managed it —- but it’s easier with a bit of help. The air’s extracted so throughly that the contents can curl up and it’s harder to flatten the bags once they’re sealed.
Overall, terrific quality and I’ll be buying more.
Firstly, the advert said this bag size was “10cm” which makes no sense, they are in fact 80 x 100cm which is a really ample size. So far I’ve packed 3 bags, one with a high tog/winter superking duvet (which fit in with plenty of space, probably could’ve packed a pillow in too), I’ve also packed (as shown in the photos) 1 x double duvet, 2 x pillows and 5 x cushions all into one bag, the third bag I fit 60 x t-shirts, 2 x jeans, 3 x shorts, 3 x PJs and still had a little room for more. Basically you can fit a lot into each bag, so 10 of them gives you plenty of packing space.
So far I’ve seen the main benefits come from packing duvets and pillows due to their high air content they give a great size reduction. Clothes go in great too, show a slight size compression, but I’ve found it most useful that in holds them tightly together as a solid block which make them easy to transport, stack or store.
The box comes with 10 bags, 12 slide shut clips and one pump. The bags are a good quality plastic, well sealed around the edges with a double seal top, their valve is also a good quality plastic, as are the clips and pump. The whole kit feels well made and I have confidence they will stay working long term (the lifetime guarantee helps support that too!).
All in all I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend for moving or storing bedding or clothes.
Secondly, for people asking, the jumbo ones do *not* work for king size duvets! As the advertisement clearly states, they are for queen size. They are not large enough for king size, not even for a summer-weight one. The duvet fits in but it’s too large to be compressed properly, so after a couple of hours, the bag will be expanded again. I know because I wanted to see if I could squeeze my summer one in!
If you just want a cover for a duvet it’s fine but if you want to save space, you’ll need a bag that’s 110cm x 90cm. These are only 100cm x 80cm. Doesn’t sound like much of a difference but it is!
First of all, they must suck every particle of air that is hard to recognise what was in there to begin with. Double sized duvets, sleeping bags and pillows have been vacuumed since December 2018 and still no release of air. It is now January 2020. To compare, I vacuum packed a sleeping bag with a storage bag from a discount store and it re-inflated after a couple of months. Bags used to pack away seasonal clothes have been vacuumed twice now and re-inflated. There is no sign of the plastic becoming worn either and this is with the bags being stored in a dusty loft.
Then I tested the lifetime guarantee. I had a bag for a year and went to vacuum seal it and could hear the air release when I finished but could not see a tear or hole. I emailed spacesavers to ask for a replacement under guarantee and got a reply within the hour. No fuss, no questions just an apology and asked for my address. And this was on New Years Day!! I ended up apologising for the email as I was expecting an automated acknowledgement not an actual reply. Replacement bag arrived four working days later.
I’ve recommended them to all my family and friends and they all agree spacesavers are best they have come across. My daughter now uses the jumbo bag when she and family (husband and two small children) drive to us for a visit. Jumbo bag work better than suitcases in the car boot.
My only negative feedback is the hand pump is rubbish. Doesn’t work as good as a vacuum cleaner, so I would only use them for travelling if there is a vacuum cleaner at each end of the journey. I stop short of asking hotel house keeping for a loan of their vacuum cleaner :-)! I’ve now got three hand pumps from my successive orders which I won’t use. For the sake of environment I would suggest spacesavers remove them from the packs and make it a separate order item.
Finding storage in a small apartment isn’t always easy so these bags are a must have for me.
Instructions are on each bag and fill line is clearly marked . I also received a pump with each order which is useful especially for the smaller bags when you don’t really want to get the hover out, or for travelling. The added bonus is that they have a lifetime guarantee.

I really like the pump, I often find myself storing stuff away when the children are in bed or napping so getting out the vacuum would wake them but the pump is silent, except for me huffing and puffing, which means I can complete the task and get a job completed whilst they sleep. I swish the air out first by sitting on it, closure on the floor, then get the last of the air out with the pump. Very satisfying! It’s a great way to store away winter bedding, esp quilts and fluffy teddy bear fleece bed covers which are bulky but squish down to nothing.
Arrived ahead of expected delivery date well packaged this is my third load I’ve purchased and they are ideal for putting towels duvets or general clothes into storage if your not going to be using them for a few month’s. Last set I bought still airtight hence the reason why I’ve got another load. Put winter items away soon and hopefully get the summer items out.
Update 8 March 23 finally after years of use I’ve noticed one bag isn’t sealed and having redone it yesterday can confirm after 4 years I’ve had a failure but given I use them on average 8 times a year I’m very happy. Next test will be to see if they honour lifetime garantee which I’ve no doubt they will.
Reason I’ve got now 30 bags is due to being in forces and constantly moved around so I only have praise for these bags. Might seem expense but you get what you pay for and at 3.00 a bag I’m more than happy especially if I can replace the only one that’s failed.

Having emailed company directly I can confirm I recieved very good customer service and had my failed spacesaver jumbo bag replaced under the guarantee.
If your looking for quality airtight bags which will take plenty of moving around once packed I can only suggest you try these.
These ones came using Prime and I couldn’t wait to start reducing the clutter of bedding and duvets which are all king size.
Having purchased the pack with so many size options was the best thing ever and I have to admit that’s its also good value for money considering they come with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE….. Now where else you gonna get that sort of offer. Previous ones I’ve bought have come with 2 yrs guarantee, so after that your on your own.
I ended up using nearly all the bags in the box and they are all neatly under my bed. I’ve been checking them daily to see if any have puffed back up but so far so good.
Im probably the biggest critic you will come across and I will omplain about any item I spend my hard earned cash on if I’m not happy, but this lot gets the FULL thumbs up from me.
If I peep under the bed any time soon and see them puffed up, believe me “I’ll be back” with an update.
These SpaceSaver bags, however, DO work! and I would highly recommend if you’re looking.
I’ve had them almost a week, and saved a tonne of space already. So far, no issues of reinflation or faulty bags but – even if there were – there’s a lifetime warranty / replacement!
As I haven’t had the bags in use for long, I will amend this review in the unlikely event of any issues occurring; So you will see if/that this review will stand testament to the quality having not been amended.
I purchased this whole box of Jumbo bags as they are about the same size of a 90L storage box (from above said high street chain, albeit these bags are flat). Being honest, I should have maybe gotten one of the SpaceSaver Variety Pack of sizes on offer instead as I wasn’t able to fill all the bags as they are just that huge haha. My fault there, though, but something to bear in mind (getting a variety pack of sizes) 🙂
Regards the actual space saving ability; It shrunk a 90L storage box full of clothing down to around 45% of it’s volume, and a sleep bag down to around 25%!
1. The zips are not fitted when the bags arrive. I got 8 plastic zips in a bag of their own and had to figure out what to do with them. (Not a big issue I suppose.)
2. You can only fill the bags to the “fill-line”, so for the large size bag, the quoted 80x60cm is a bit misleading. The usable internal dimensions of the large bag as supplied are only 69×57.6cm up to the fill line.
3. The stated sizes of the supplied bags are the sizes as supplied flat, i.e. length and width. They do not have any depth. So, when you store anything that has depth (e.g. my duvet), the length and the width of the bag shrink a bit. So for example, the large bag when filled with my duvet (before sucking) measured 64x49x18. That is the size that you have to fold your duvet down to in order to get it in up to the fill line. 18cm was the maximum depth of my duvet in the middle of the bag.
4. My Dyson hose didn’t fit snugly on the blue valve. But maybe it worked good enough. Dysons have a nobble on the ends of their hoses to fit their tools. The valve that is built-in to the bag stopped it re-inflating for long enough to screw the cap back on after I took the Dyson away.
4. After sucking, my duvet has shrunk to 65x45x5cm. The 5cm is a rough average because the final shape comes out slightly knobbly. So shrinkage is better than one third original size, but not one fifth original size (which is what the advertised 80% would equate to).
So I’m happy with what I bought. I just feel annoyed when suppliers over-sell their product. It’s a good product, they don’t need to over-sell it. In particular, the bags are not as big as we are led to believe, and the compression is a bit less than we are led to believe.
Update: reported the faulty jumbo bag to the company via their online message system in their website, had a reply four hours later and they immediately sent a double pack of jumbo bags to me via Amazon to replace the faulty one. Now that really is first class customer service. Quite exceptional!

The first time I used the pump, it seemed like nothing was happening and I was quite displeased! However with some persistence I got the air drawn out and it seems the bags will work well.
UPDATE DEC2017: Packing for real. Unscrew the top of the valve (cover) and LEAVE WELL ALONE the roundal of rubberised material you see under it. It acts as the valve. The supplied pump screws into the valve for very easy use to extract air, which is on the up-stroke of the pump. I would prefer to extract air using a vacuum cleaner, but on our eventual reurn journey we would not have one available! The extraction is fine, though I think a vacuum would make a difference. One of the bags leaked as I was pumping. I could hear the leak which seemed to come from the zip, but I could not stop it. ANOTHER THING: On the zip is a sliding ‘key’. This slides across the strips that interlock, but it may only make a partial engagement of the top & bottom strips. Make sure the key is on correctly and sits above the two strips that lock. Slide the key from one side to the other. THEN, use your fingers to go slowly along the length of the strips and press hard to ensure the strips either side of the back fully interlock. Happy packing.
Supplied in cardboard retail packaging. Full instructions for use & care printed on the box, & on each of the individual bags themselves. *** EDIT: Most of my vac-bags have now had multiple cycles of being opened & re-sealed over 2+ years now, whilst some have been permanently sealed the whole time. The additional space they create & the condition they keep all items within is just incredible. They’re worth every penny & every star!!
However, the valve on one of my jumbo sized bags finally failed after two years & the bag just wouldn’t hold a vacuum anymore. The manufacturer/seller has a fully dedicated webpage if a replacement is required under the lifetime guarantee (which even includes a specific entry for providing your Amazon order number). I completed all of the required details on the dedicated webpage & the page flagged the message that my details had been received for processing, but I then heard nothing back after that at all. After waiting for a fair period, I contacted the seller through Amazon to notify them of the problems with the failed jumbo vac-bag, & with their website. The seller responded immediately & they sent me a retail box with 2 x jumbo replacement bags as well. Possibly some issues with their dedicated replacement system that the manufacturer/seller needs to address, but they still honour the lifetime guarantee in full if you contact them via Amazon instead. (Contact them directly from “your orders” which will automatically include your order number & details, etc.). Otherwise, I’m still very happy with these bags indeed after 2 1/2 years. Still only this one failure to date too that the seller immediately replaced once notified. EXCELLENT product & EXCELLENT customer service as advertised. My rating remains 5/5. ***

These bags are really, really good. I have only used 2 so far, one for clothes just to test it, and the other to store a thick, duck down kingsize duvet. The duvet was a struggle to fit in the bag but once it was in, the little zipper thing to seal it was really easy to use and fast.
The vent on the bag has a one way valve so you don’t have to worry about air getting back in to it once you have vacuumed it out. When using the pump, it screws in place making a brilliant seal.
I started to use the included pump which it was clear would take absolutely hours to get all the air out. I didn’t want to get the hoover out as one of the main reasons to buy this is to use at the caravan where we don’t take the hoover.
I had the brain wave of unsealing the bag to squeeze some air out. It did occur to me that i might break the bag using this method but then I remembered the ‘100% money back guarantee’ in the description. So I opened up the side of the seal. There are 2 seal strips which both work really well, after opening an inch or so I was worried that the seals might split open along the seam but with most of my 16 stone weight on the bag pushing the air out of the little split I had made I am happy to say the seals didn’t open any more and the bag showed no signs of splitting.
They really are made very well. Once I was sure I had as much air out as I could, I resealed the top and set about attaching the pump again, but again, got sick of using it. The pump is just too small, but its free so i am not marking it down.
I got out the hoover… well… dyson and noticed there is a little thumb button on the end of my hoover tube to attach accessories to so I could not get a perfect seal on the bag vent thing, however this was not too much a problem as it was still working very effectively. I got as much air out as I could then fitted the pump on again to get the last out and it was clear when there was little air left in the bag. The pump got stiff to use.
I would definately recommend this product.
