Love it. I’ve want a BBQ smoker for quite a while. Not disappointed.
Purchased this for my husband and he says it’s Brilliant! It is really good quality and works brilliantly. It was dispatched and delivered quickly in secure packaging. I had purchased him the larger one and I am glad that I did. Lots of space on all levels. You get with it everything you need to get straight to using it, you just need to provide the coal/smoking wood. The Smoker and BBQ is by far the best my husband has owned to date. Added bonus is the style and build, it looks great and is very sturdy. Building it can be a doddle if you possess the gift of patience and read the instructions to the letter, my husband actually enjoyed building it, not finding it difficult at all. All it’s parts were present and correct with spares.
We have used it several times now and it has been caught in rain, But you wouldn’t think so once cleaned out. No rusting has occurred, no heat discolouration to the outside has occurred either.
When it stops smoking after getting it going, you wouldn’t even know that it was in use if it weren’t for the delicious smells coming from the food cooking within.
This is an excellent Smoker & BBQ.
When the package arrived i checked first for all the parts, according to the manual i should have had a number of parts which i was missing, but then looking at the guide pictures i could see that the “parts inventory” is misleading. Instead of my thinking i was missing about 4 parts i actually ended up with having extra nuts and bolts. It is tedious to assemble but not difficult at all. Assembly took about 30 min. Its a good looking design and hopefully will last a few years.
For the price this is a great smoker for a beginner, I was looking at the Weber smoky mountain but decided not to remortgage the house just to buy one. I took a punt on this one and I’m not disappointed. Tricky to put together out of the box but had all the bits, easy to set up, I’ve practiced with chicken and brisket, turned out pretty good. I even did a pizza inside and it turned out really good too so a very good all rounder.
I love the fact that I can use it as a normal charcoal BBQ with the food near the charcoal and also as a smoker and let the heat of the charcoal impregnated smoke cook the food a distance away from it. It gives it a completely different taste to the food.
I had to replace my old bbq so this is a great addition and i have a big family bbq coming up soo
I had a tiny issue , so I emailed sunlifer uk from a little card in the box , and they have resolved by sending me a new part ! Very impressed, this is a very comprehensive smoker , with great results !! Highly recommended produc

I put it on and left it alone for eight hours. It did exactly what it was meant to do. No frills just cooked / smoked a pork joint perfectly.
This is a very well priced product with quality parts and after a few used I can’t fault it at all.
Holds heat and smoke internally well

good piece of kit to get started with backyard smoking low and slow. recently did a pork shoulder on it for 7 hours. so its big enough to hold enough charcoal.

the thermometer in the lid on mine was reading 20C too high. always worth taking it out and check in some boiling water for example.
got my self some digital probes now.

Not sure how long it’s going to last but it’s a great piece of kit. Only smoked chickens in it so far but it’s done them so well it’s now the new standard
Arrived today. I have read all of the previous reviews, so will comment on some of their observations. Very well packaged. No damage. Checked all of the items before starting build. Three nuts missing, so have asked question re them being sent but when I built it, these were not needed (company had included extra pieces), so no probs there.
Followed the instructions to the letter and really took my time to make sure screw/nut tensions etc were right. So it took me about 2 hours but could have been done quicker, with less care.
Couple of small areas where coating is not quite perfect but nothing like some of the pictures posted by others.
It’s not as robust as some, a few of the parts are a bit flimsy BUT its about 1/3 of the price of most! We have bought it to get used to smoking and being a bit more adventurous with our BBQ’s. We will look after it, wash it properly and keep it out of the elements; I think we will probably get 3-4 years of work out of it. The ash holder/bottom air entry via ash holder does not fully close (may be intentional). Not sure how we can easily cook using the hooks that hang from the lid, without dropping the food off the hooks, as it attached to the lid – any tips?
I am not sure about the sealing of the different sections, maybe a bit of smoke will leak, will know once it is used.
But for the mis-delivery info, I think it’s good value for money. You get what you pay for. Would recommend for the price. Have included pictures of each layer.
As a grill, however, this is quite useless as the lowest level you can set the grate is still very high; too high infact to grill anything. This meant I had to go and buy a separate basic grill to finish meats on for that charred surface.
Overall, if you’re after a smoker this is a fantastic choice. But if you’re after a smoker grill, you should either pair this with a separate grill or look for a different style of smoker, such as an offset smoker.

This has been a great smoker, cooked several different meats. Holds the heat well and temperature stays constant. I did have to use seal tape to stop smoke escaping, buy after reading a lot of reviews for different smokers…this is a common issue with all so it doesn’t bother me.
This smoker BBQ grill also can be used as a fire pit, a small charcoal grill, a single layer smoker, a barbecue grill and a smoker at the same time. The charcoal BBQ grill featured 2 access doors is more flexible to check the status of foods and add charcoal, wood or pellets without removing the whole layer to avoid losing heat. Two layers design you can easily take them apart to transport or clean.
