This is good value. It delivers plenty of air and unlike many others, it runs quietly. Be aware: you will need to fit a mains plug; the pump delivers two air outputs and it isn’t an option to turn one of them off.
Pump body is inside the garage as it isn’t fully waterproof with the air pipe going outside and into the pond. Only needed one outlet so joined the two with pipe and a tee piece taking two into one. Good strong bubbles and surface movement. How long it lasts on 24/7 who knows

The unit is small, quiet and economical to run. So far what’s not to like. The build quality seems to be robust and i would recommend this pump.
I bought this swell 450 air pump to put more oxygen into my pond and it’s worked very well. The only drawback with the pump is it’s not weather proof so needs to be covered but it’s pretty quiet just a low humming from it.

Really pleased with this, it’s just worked since I installed it with no issues.
It doesn’t come with a UK plug, but it really needs to be wired into a waterproof power supply so I think that explains that – it’s an outdoor device so needs appropriate weather proofing for the mains connection.
I bought this in 2021 and it’s survived the winter and the storms we have had in the UK (April 2022 as I write this).
There’s nothing not to like about it, so long as you understand it’s specs.
I added this as a second bubbler in my garden pond which would also act as a back up the original one failed. It appears to be well made and the rubber feet are really good at reducing noise. It is possibly a bit too powerful for my pond but better a little too much air than not enough
I used this as a backup pump when I performed maintenance on my pond. It isn’t overly powerful and could do with small valves on the air-outlets to control the pressure which would enhance it’s use, but it dod run 4 air stones and kept my fish alive for a couple of days.
Working well so far, in a large pond – the fish seem happy, which is the whole point.

So love this air pump, I have a pond of about 3,000 litres and this pump with it`s 2 outlets gives my pond a very good boost. It`s quiet whilst in operation, sturdy and a reasonable price. Thank You.
I purchased this to replace a Blagdon air pump that failed within a few months of purchase. Blagdon did not want to know about warranty and referred me to Amazon as the seller. I did an on line chat with Amazon and bless them they paid a refund without any quibble at all – customer service at it’s very best! Anyhow, I still needed an air pump for my Blagdon Affinity Half Moon pool, so looking on Amazon I found this one – the Swell Air Pump 270. Connected it to my existing air pipe and power, and immediately the difference to the Blagdon was most noticeable – so nice and quiet, and the bubbles in the pool much more lively! I was a little confused by the instruction manual since there was no mention of the 270 pump, so I emailed Swell and a very kind lady advised me that there was very little difference to the Swell 450 Air Pumps, and that a new 270 manual was being prepared. She also gave me a link to the service kit for the 270 – most helpful.
So impressed am I with Swell up to now, that I have ordered a Swell Pond Filter Pump (1,400) for another small pond we have in our garden. I have every hope that this will prove to be as good a product as the Swell Air Pump 270. Swell products are well worth your consideration!
Bought this pump for my newly created pond, when first installed there wasn’t much flow getting to the large one foot air-stone I bought when I only used one of the air outlets. After purchasing a small pipe kit, I was able to have both feeds working to the same unit with a T-joint. The fish love the air fizz even at a meter down. This little unit is powerful. I also upgraded the pipe size for better flow to 6mm inner, 8mm oute
Easy to install and works fine for my outside pond
I put mine inside an enclosure to protect from weathe
It has not been installed yet due to circumstances beyond our control but hopefully it will do the job it was bought for efficiently.
The pump itself is pretty good but too noisy in an enclosed area. There is quite a noticeable hum even over a small waterfall.
