Great value scope bought for my 13yo. Perfect for starting out and the mechanical stage makes exploring a slide so much easier. We did buy a prepared slide set to start her off as nothing is included.
I’ve gone on 6 hour round trips to the ocean and everywhere in between to see all sorts of organisms, great for modifications and improvements. Solid interior prevents damage to the lighting components, the adjustment knobs are smooth and operate well, as well as the mechanical stage, comes with a bag and oil, overall great microscope with a relatively affordable price, fluorescent objectives cost more than the microscope lol
Solid construction with a movable stage in both x and y axis means no quirky fidgeting with the specimen slide to change the view. 4 objective lens and 2 sets of eyepieces give you a nice selection of magnification. The only thing missing in my mind is overhead illumination, very difficult to use for surface observation of opaque specimens.
Used to check soil micro life, nematodes, micro arthropods, etc. Great scope for the price.
You can add a camera but does not com with one.
Bought this microscope just as a hobby to look at things, but the image is not great. Going to be buying a more expensive one.
A better Swift microscope can be had for not much more. Get that one instead if you have just a few more bucks to spend.
I bought this for our homeschool. Great for elementary and highschool.
It is a great microscope great for beginners to more experienced.
I love the binocular head that rotates 360 was a feature that I was really looking for. And I am a very pleased.
Very sharp magnification.
I’m looking forward to being able to use this for many years to come.
Microscope de trs bonne qualit. Facile a manipuler. Parcontre j’ai reu seulement les couvres-lamelles. Je n’est pas reu les lamelles.
Got it for my grandchildren. It is a very good piece of equipment and they are enjoying it and learning a lot.
This microscope arrived on time in a solid foam-fitted container inside a sturdy box. The quality is just what I was looking for.
Bought a child, he decided to become a doctor.
Checked, everything works. Examined the wing of the insect and pulled off the hairs.
Update : The company contacted me and kindly sent me a new one, the light works fine, yay! Now that I tried it I could say that this is a good quality microscope , easy to use , with clear and wide lens that are easy to focus. I really like it and can’t wait to look at more things and explore. I attached some photos I took using the microscope.
Also making mayonnaise and needed to check the water/Oil ratio and droplet size.
This one had a piece of fuzz in the splitter optics making a blob in the lower right side of the right eyepiece.
Looks pretty difficult to get to, to clean it out.
