This is our second pump of the same and can’t beat it for value, suction power & robustness.
However, our last one had a 3 pin uk moulded plug, the new one had this weird eu/uk adaption thing that made the plug far too big for a typical outdoor, weatherproof plug socket so it wouldn’t fit. No big deal, just a bit annoying. Just had to cut the thing off and fit a new plug.
Used with a garden hose, to suck out the water from my storage butts, and spray on the garden. Sprayed as good as tap pressure, using a 30mtr hose.
This pump is quite powerful for its size, does the job great.
Used it once, cleared tub quickly, I will use it 4x a year, so hop it lasts! So far good!
Is able to lift waste 10m and pump it it 250m to treatment plant.
I bought this for my septic tank in march 2019. It’s still going strong. I highly recommend this pump as value for money.
This pump does all that the seller stated. Good value for money I would recommend this to anyone .Amazon delivered next day.
Works treat, easy to set up, you will need to get the right connectors though.
Had serious flooding in the garden and connected a pipe to this for the drain and my god did it pump out the water I had to hold onto the pipe as it was comming out that fast however only down fall was having to tie up the switch because the water wasn’t deep enough to be fully submerged
Not particularly powerful to pump water from an underground tank so takes a bit longer to do the garden watering but for the price is fine
The pump is heavy but works very well.
No problem so far but it’s hardly been used.
If it only came with a standard garden hose connection, it’d be perfect! I had to hunt for an adapter to go over the “universal!” hose connection that would take a standard hozelock tap connector. But with that in place it just works and pumps the water at a good rate. All in all, it is a good piece of equipment.
Customer service is excellent. (I broke the Universal hose connection and they replaced it FOC.)
The instructions are not great. The booklet stresses that you must read and understand the whole thing and it includes one line that says: “18. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid”. Obviously, that is nonsense as it is a submersible water pump!
I got this to empty my pool,and I must say it is excellent.when it arrived,I connected it(luckily I had a hose pipe to connect to it for outflow,I thought it was included but not so)and it worked straight away,pumping at a great rate and had it emptied very quickly.i would recommend this pump for similar jobs.
Arrived on time. Used it three times (time of Monmouth floods). 100% successful. I had a query so contacted the firm and within 2 hours had a helpful reply. A YouTube how to use might reassure.
Using on a building site to pump out trenches etc. Fantastic bit of kit. Picks up small stones etc without blocking. Auto cut out so it doesn’t burn itself out when water level gets low. Float switch works well if unobstructed. The trench im pumping isn’t full of water, so I have to override the float switch. I leave it pumping all day and have no issues
No complaints! Pumped my septic tank perfectly. My tank was full of baby wipes! (Thanks kids) this made an expensive problem into a tolerable one. Truly excellent pump. Emptied my tank in just over an hour! Really a lot faster than expected. For the record, it does not handle baby wipes at all! It’s not supposed to either! I’m pretty sure no pump is!!
This is the second of these pumps which I have purchased.
The first is used for pumping out septic tank second (liquid) compartment contents to buried “leaky pipe” disposal system. Cost about a tenth of previous pump and works just as well for the last 18 months and still going strong.
The second pump is intended for a static caravan grey water disposal system which I am installing.
A small point is that the outlet adapter does not fit standard half-inch hosepipe, so I had to fit a further reducer to the outlet and fix with epoxy adhesive.
Overall, great value and highly recommended.
this is powerful enough for the task, highly recommend you dont go for a cheaper weaker pump, mainly as it wont have the power to get up to whatever level you need and also not fast enough
i have only used this a few times so i cant comment on its reliability but so far its looking good, very happy i did not go cheaper low wattage, love this unit, you wont regret it, would have been really nice if it had come with a hose or listed to their own various length hose
This is brilliant shifts a lot of water quickly just what we needed. We use it as a dirty water pump in a sump tank from our koi pond very good.

Very impressed by both the service and the product. I have reopened a very old well in my garden. The Terratek submersible pump is being used to water plants as a hose ban is in operation due to drought conditions.
The pump was purchased by me to use at an Animal Sanctuary that we look after. It will be used to empty the duck pond to allow for regular cleaning. It completely matched the description and we are very pleased with it. I will use this company again and recommend them to others.
Only just received but very prompt delivery and appears to be working well with a good head of water. If it continues would consider buying another. Tried many different makes and this one appears very well made.
Seems good – pumping out of the river through 50m of 1″ layflat hose up maybe 5m with plenty to spare. Ordered a 2″ hose because I reckon the pump will nail it. Impressed.
The pump arrived earlier than expected and has worked out really well for me. Aside from the pump being as advertised the speed of the shipping was exemplary.

I have two of these now in wells in the garden. They are powerful and so-far reliable, outlasting a well-known German brand. It pumps the water 50m away and to a head height of almost 5m using 40mm bore water pipe. Very happy.
I bought this to make it easier to replace the water in my pond. Although I only used the 25mm hose, it emptied it in no time at all. A bit more expensive than others on here but build quality is exceptional
Easy to use and effective. No problems and would rate it as a product.
Good pump, pretty good flow and still working after a few uses in a rather rusty environment. I give it 4 instead of 5 because it’s a bit light, which makes it hard to put upright in water sometimes – inflexible hoses tend to cause it to fall over. It has a useful clip for the float switch so you don’t need the water to be higher than the pump is tall, and it’s a fairly reliable pump so far.
My only other quibbile is the on/off switch. Its on a long cable on the top of the pump , which is quite long in itself. The switch has to be near verticle before it turns on, meaning it has to be very deep under water ( just over two foot by my reconing) before it turns on. Some inventive manipulation of the cable would be required to make it come on earlier.
UPDATE- Ive spotted on the replacement that the pump actually has a clip to reduce the cable length, it was just snapped on the first one i received.
So far so good. Used a couple of times and performs well.
Wow Wow Wow – What an amazing product. I do not usually review products but after using this I felt compelled to share my experience. I have an inspection pit in the garage which floods to a depth of 2 feet every time we have a lot of rain. Last time I borrowed a pump from a neighbour but this time I thought I would invest in my own. The device arrived on time. It was so easy to use. I attached a collapsible hose with a jubilee clip, placed it in the water, switched on – nothing happened – but then when I lifted the float above the level of the pump – Niagara! The pump took less than 25 minutes to empty the pit (to about 2 inches). The neighbours pump took an hour and a half.
It is well built – sturdy, robust, well-designed and looks good as well.
I can’t wait for the next heavy downpour.

Exactly as described, was not sure what to expect because of the price but I was amazed. I used it to drain a pond. Even when it reached the bottom the sludge was no problem. Highly recommend.
Bought this Feb 2016 after spending many weeks looking at other market brands. I only found this make after reading a comment on an on-line forum discussing pros & cons of various pumps. This make and model is a clear winner on quality, cost and capability. I have purchased this to pump out water underneath a sunken trampoline (11Ft long x8Ft wide x 1 Mtr deep). I dug the hole myself and installed drainage but due to soil conditions the hole just filled again with 2 to 3 ft of water after heavy rain. Installing this got rid of the water in less than 10 minutes. It also beats the competition easily on particle size it can cope with. Overall very satisfied and would definitely recommend.
This pump can move a serious amount of water. I’ve used it with 1-1/2″ flat hose, and as long as you hacksaw off the stepped hose pipe fitting, so that there is no reduction in flow, it will certainly do what it is meant to. Also very good value.
Working very well, 38mm hose fitted cant belive how much water it shifts, once float is set you can forget it, stopping flooding from fields that seeps into garden, had more expensive pumps that did not perform this well before, self priming as well…..
The pump arrived quickly, but sadly it was damaged. I contacted the seller, a replacement was sent right away. The customer service was exceptional. The pump is fantastic, very quiet, robust and efficient. An excellent product at a great price. This is one of the best buys we have made. A top product supported by a professional company.
As well as being exactly the thing for the job it save me almost 100 the first time I used it. The alternative was a visit by one of those effluent sucking tankers. They charge for disposal of effluent no matter what they pump, and this was just groundwater.
This is a really good pump… I am using it for draining a large hot tub and it really does shift the contents quickly. This orange pad is actually a tilt switch which stops when the water level goes down, so you might need to hold that up to get more water out of whatever you’re pumping from but that’s only a small issue.

very quiet,it will push 30 meters and make a spray gun work across 10 mtrs.
we take our washing machine water,through the wall and into a water but, 100 ltrs. then drain that into a large but stand,
(upturned) and stand the pump in that. once full, its pumped to the garden, and this pump is good enough for that purpose.
have a check on what your washing machine uses in gallons,you will be amazed at what your pouring down the drain.
i checked it,and on the lowest economy wash, it used about 15 gallons, (ouch). so time to start a new water saving regime

Does the job really well. Needed to pump water away automatically from soakaway at bottom of garden after heavy rain. Have used a one inch flexible hose and water is pumped uphill, maybe eight feet higher, over a distance of about twenty metres at a good rate. Tests show it turns on and off as needed. Bring on next winter!
I received my pump very promptly and well packaged, couldn’t be more pleased with it, I purchased it to empty my hot tub which it did in super quick time only 6mins (wish it filled just as quick) I’ve only used it once so far but I’m very happy with it my brother wants to borrow after the summer to empty his 15m x15m x 1.5m swimming pool so will see how good it really is then.
Product is good and works well although the plastic handle was broken when I received the item.
However I did not return as I needed to use the pump and so I made a stronger metal handle which is a lot more secure.
I have only used it about 6 times and I’m impressed with the performance and the rugged nature of it.
It would appear to be designed to operate in the upright position but unless the surface it sits on if flat this is not always likely. However this does not seem to be a problem as the pump happily pumps away on its side, which is how I usually use it (or how it ends up).
Placing and retrieving the pump needs looking at as I have to hold on to the connecting hose to lower it and retrieve it. It is tempting to use the float to do this but the instructions advise against this. Therefore I intend to attach a rope to the handle with a cork (or similar) at the other end, like the keys boat owners use, to enable better placement and retrieval. Overall I’m satisfied with both the product and the way the initial “lost in transit” problem was resolved.
It is a very efficient pump. I had to rig up a device to hold the float switch in the vertical position when the water wasn’t deep enough for the switch to float above the pump. It was also difficult to suck up very shallow water but it did the bulk of the drainage.
This pump emptied my pond in a fraction of the time of my old Draper one. Float switch worked a dream, no risk of running the pump dry. I use a 40mm flat hose with this, it’s not ideal, a rigid hose would do the pump justice.
I bought this pump after my Hippo pump stopped working.
The pump is used to drain my garden that used to flood every time we got some rain. It has to lift the water about 2 metres out of the garden’s sump/manhole and then 20 metres horizontally to the drain
This pump does the same job in a quarter of the time that it took the Hippo to do. It pumps the water out so fast that when I first used/tested it, it was able to pump the water 3/4 metres into the air.
I’m very pleased with it!
I took this product abroad, and there was no any issues with it even going through long journey (the packaging systems)
