If you have new Apple (or other) product with a USB-C video outlet and want to connect this to a HDMI monitor / TV this is a simple a cheap way to do this.
This cable does the job great however sometimes if u move the wire the screen goes black but if u give it a wigle it comes back. At the price u can’t moan very happy. The picture is also brilliant.
I saw these on special offer and needed a long and short cable.
They are good quality cables that offer a snug fit.
They work well and haven’t fallen apart after being coiled up and uncoiled on a regular basis.
I brought this cable to connect my Samsung phone to my monitor and laptop. it did the job perfectly, it gave me all the resolutions possible required for the monitor. The perfect item you should look into it and purchase!!
Ordered this to stream a MacBook to tv upstairs. Arrived very quickly however when connected the colours were all over the place on the tv with everyone looking like Shrek. Tried everything to fix. Contacted the team for some help and they sent a new lead out straight away which works like a dream. So far so good. Would recommend
Cables like this are ok but please be aware that it does not work properly with Mac Studio thunderbolt/usb-c ports connected to HDMI ports on HP 2159m monitors. It results in the overscan effect (see the pic). However, it works just fine with Dell Latitude 5420 laptops (can’t say about other Dell laps but should work as well).
I’m giving this a one star review because I followed the directions and nothing appeared on my TV screen. I’m a little disappointed to be honest! I would however appreciate anyone who has used this cable, to tell me their experience of it, and yes, I did read the reviews x

Simple package, wire transmits audio and pictures from laptop to monitor perfectly as was expected.
Used this whilst away on holiday to connect my OnePlus 9 Pro to a hotel TV. Worked great for entertaining the kids away from home. No issues, simple to use. Also worked the same with a OnePlus 8 pro.
Just connect my Mac and the monitor and it works. Can’t comment on the durability yet.
I wanted to connect a large 4K screen to my 13″ Razer. The laptop has a 4K screen but is way too small for work use and wanted to output to a larger screen. My laptop only has 2 USB-C & 2 USB 3.1. This cable turns the Thunderbolt USB (USB-C) output to 4K HDMI. I had my doubts, but it was worth trying for the price. I plugged the HDMI into the screen and plugged the USB-C into the laptop and within seconds the TV displayed the laptop screen! No settings or drivers, just works!
Ive tried numerous leads to connect my second monitor to my lap top as i onky have one HDMI leads and this works perfectly.
I travel alot for work, and this is always in my bag as it can be useful to display netflix, YouTube, Prime from my phone to the hotel room tv is they don’t support casting.
Used with a Samsung S20 and works perfectly, by default it goes to Dex mode but you can disable that and use it for screen mirroring.
Really good product! Now I can use it to connect my notebook with my monitor. It is so convenient!
I use it to connect a Surface Pro 7 through a Microsoft docking station II to a second screen for multi screen working at home. Make sure you connect to the right USB C port on the docking station to ensure it works.

This is “fine” and generally works, but I find that it’s finicky staying connected to my monitor. Nothing a little nudge doesn’t fix. The Anker model that competes with it is a much better build quality.
I use it to connect my tablet to my sound bar then to my Samsung plasma screen. I do admin on the tablet with it set to extend screenand have a movie on my plasma.
Put the lead in my phone and direct to the TV, now I can play my phone on the big screen, love it!
Does what it says and does it well.
Works well with my OnePlus 7pro and my Huawei p20 pro seemlesly. But won’t work with my wife’s pixel 5 it might be the phones fault but never bothered to investigate to find out. Cable feels and looks well built connections feel solid and steady

Connected Dell Latitude 7480 usb cto hdmi monitor, disconnected usb c and plugged back in while pc unlocked and picture displayed on monitor. Picture quality no different for hdmi or display port connection when running hd youtube and iplayer.

The projector I use isn’t great but I presume this cable is fine for picture quality.
Seems very sturdy, good length.
Has been very useful for display my laptop screen to my tv for watching movies. Only problem is that on rare occasions it is slightly jumpy as if the connection isn’t 100% but as I say this is very rare
I use this between my 13″ Macbook Pro and our TV and it just works. Picture and sound are great. Really easy to use, just plugged it in setup screen sharing and there it was on the TV.
Works perfectly connecting my 2020 iPad Air to my Samsung tv. Initially the colours weren’t correct but I turned off the hdr settings in the screen mirroring section and it was then in Crystal clear HD with perfect colour. Also carried the sound to the tv in great quality.
No lagging experienced at all.
I had a different cable brand attached to my second monitor from my iMac and I had to keep restarting my I mac for the monitor to see it , really frustrating! I bought this cable in hope really that it would fix it , hallelujah it works brilliant, I fire up my iMac and my monitor comes on . Best cable I’ve ever bought because it solved my problem.

Works really well, picture quality was excellent. Works to show films and TV from laptops with USB-C on non-smart TVs. Used on holiday and at home easily.

So- look for an option that says something like “full screen mode” or “PC mode”, it might be ambiguous and mine is the later, but I enabled that and hey presto I can see everything!
BUT also be aware your phone might change to a mode you never knew it had! That’s what Samsung’s do, you don’t just get a big copy of your phone screen, it switches to a PC mode, with a very different feel, and you use your phone screen as a touch pad. The phone stays useable as a phone, you can switch between normal and touchpad modes easily enough. Very clever, but also a little complicated!
Love this, I’ve got no wifi at the moment so downloaded some shows on Netflix on my phone to watch offline but too small for two of us to watch on my phone, thought id give this a try and works brilliant!

After buying a new monitor I needed this lead really quickly. It came early the day after ordering and no faults since connecting monitor and laptop.
My laptop has an HDMI port and two USB-C ports so I bought this cable for being able to connect 2 external monitors to the laptop without the need of buying a dock. Tested, worked. Cool.
Super fast delivery arrived within 24 hours! Seems like a good cable, however the Hdmi connector (monitor end) is a bit ‘hit & miss’ and have to wiggle it sometimes to get the connection.

This lead is for my laptop so that l can watch a movie on my tv, it is a older model. Works well.
Needed dual screens during lockdown and this cable allowed me to connect my laptop to my old Flatscreen monitor that had bern relegated to the loft. Works great.
I bought this lead to connect my laptop to the TV both at home and at work and found it to be first rate every single time – perfect picture quality, sound in sync and sturdily made. I used it every week for months… until one day I inadvertently left it behind in the training room and when I went back to retrieve it someone had decided to take it home. I’m currently using an alternative but I know it won’t last as long and I’ll be getting another of these.
The cable arrived promptly and was exactly as expected.
For me it turned out that I couldn’t put Netflix on my 32″ TV as I wanted to – but that was not the fault of the cable – I need a Smart TV it seems.
The picture quality is excellent; no delay, flicker, or loss of quality. At 1,8 meters, it is sufficiently long enough for most uses, without leaving a long trailing cable. The connectors themselves feel solid, and fit snugly into both the TV and the laptop without play.
I can’t vouch for customer service, as I have not (as yet at least) needed to use it. From what I’ve seen, and for the price, I’d recommend it.
The cable worked fine with my phone but didn’t work at all with my tablet. I have no idea why, I read that not all usb c devices are the same so it could be that.
Every thing was fine and perfect with my phone, screen quality and sound were just fine, no complaints but I would have liked to use it with my tablet which is a shame, I’m not sure if maybe I need some kind of app for my tablet to get it to work or not.
I don’t know if there is a way of checking whether it will work with your device so you should look that up.
If it does work with your device it is absolutely fine.
Does the job it’s meant for, connecting a smart phone to a TV to view content on the big screen.
It is impressive, its like having a mini pc in your pocket really. However the picture is a second off when I’m watching streams and also the picture isn’t the best. It is decent for its price tag but if your looking for top end no screen delay quality your looking for a more expensive version.
Connected this to my 4K smart TV and to the projector, and sends my phone image to the screen. Exactly what I wanted with no fuss. Just remember to connect the USB C outlet to what you want, ie video, to allow it to work. This prompt comes up automatically on the phone anyway, so you just change the USB setting as it will probably default to data back up!
It works perfectly, feels good build wise.
It should also work with a phone such as the note 9 and pixel book can have external monitors. It’s great if chrome casting isn’t an option or isn’t as reliable.
For ChromeOS, sound only seems to play through a TV display inside of the chrome browser, not inside apps. Something I noticed while messing with the extra display.
Definitely happy. Will buy again if I ever need more.
What i was looking for, and at a reasonable price. Came next day as arranged and worked straight out the box.
I was curious about the complaints of disconnecting the the cable from the MacBook and re-connecting it again with various cables, that when this was conducted , the TV or monitor would stay black/off.
So I conducted a test my self. I Disconnect it from the macbook pro then reconnected it to my macbook whilst leaving the HDMI cable in the tv to see if it the tv would display again by it self. It worked after 1-5 seconds. Did it the other way around too, disconected from the HDMI socket whilst leaving the usb-c in the macbook. It also Worked perfectly. sound was also coming through.
Conducted 2nd test. Hooked it up to my ASUS Pc moniter. Conducted the same tests as before on my TV. same fantastic results. Although it recognised it as a pc monitor and displayed more space instead of mirroring the macbooks display. Easy to solve that for people who don’t know (you only need to do this one time). On your macbook, Go to: system preferences> displays>arrangement & tick the box mirror displays.
Also some people complain about wifi issues with usb-c third party produts. I’ve come to see that this is or was an issue with apple’s software. For me as of this time I have not experienced any disconnections/interruptions with the WIFI. So that works too.
Most likely people who buy this cable will also want to use it in the living room with a Bluetooth keyboard and usb-c to usb2- usb3 adaptor. So i have thrown in some pictures of my other purchase as a bounous to this review.
P.S the size comparison to the back of the Tv was with a traditional hdmi cable and google chrome cast cable. 4k was also working smoothly too.

Highly recommend it over any other USB C to HDMI cable.
Using with Yoga 910 (Windows 10) and Samsung monitor (extended desktop mode). Works well as long as each application window is self-contained on one or other screen. If window encroaches on both screens then you get resolution probs on one of the screens. This is a minor annoyance given the price.
Extremely happy with the product and the level of service I received. If you’re needing an extra monitor for anything then I would have no doubt in recommending this one. I use it on my 2017 iMac and it’s as simple as plug and play.
Arrived as expected. Works perfectly. Haven’t used it extensively (few days) but doesn’t seem dodgy at all.

This is a very nicely made cable; Nice finish, robust and a great fit.
Unfortunately the original version didn’t work with one of my dell monitors as the HDMI voltage was too low to recognise. When I told the manufacturer they informed me that there was an updated version of the cable to deal with this.
Sub-sequentially they supplied me the updated cable as replacement and it now works perfectly an all my monitors. The support staff at Benfei were excellent to deal with and the cable is as good as any cable could be; definitely recommended.
Same problem on a 2017 MacBook that others are having, the only way to get it to work is to unplug and replug the HDMI into the monitor…. Pity very nice cable will be getting returned. The most common use for these right now is going to be Apple laptops so poor to keep selling faulty items.
Update:
The seller has got in touch after my comments above. They have sent out a new cable and apologised, Restored some faith that sellers on Amazon do actually read feedback and do something about it. So I have upped this review to 5 stars, as I said above the cable itself appears to be good quality and up to the job aside from the known fault.

Does not work well with a MacBook Pro 2016 model at all. I have to unplug and plug the HDMI end of the cable almost every time. Sometimes the external screen goes green, other times the signal gets lost completely. Really not happy with this product. Even when the video feed is okay, the audio glitches out sometimes and I have to unplug it and plug it in again to get it working again. Would return it if I could but don’t want to buy the 50 adapter from Apple for now, but if you didn’t buy this yet, definitely don’t do it and pay some extra for the HDMI adapter from Apple.
!! EDIT: Upon leaving my feedback, I got contacted by the company and they told me that “Our first batch of this product indeed has the unplug and plug issue to active the cable.” They apologised for the inconvenience and they sent me not one, but two replacement cables which have the issue resolved. I am extremely happy with this product now as it works seamlessly and I didn’t encounter any problems while using it. I feel very positive that it will last as I’m not expecting it to start acting up – overall the cable is very high quality. I am also very happy with the customer service because I did not expect to be contacted by them and definitely didn’t expect to get sent replacement cables. All of this resulted in me changing my rating from 1 star to 5 stars and I’m sticking with it.
