Perfect but for one thing… assembly was not straight forward… had to look on YouTube for better understanding! Racing rig works fine with wheel, pedals and shifter.
Almost caused a divorce trying to assemble. Ended up on u tube! Sturdy bit of kit.
This is a heavy sturdy piece of kit, I’m baffled at some of the comments suggesting otherwise. Yes the instructions are naff, but it’s easy enough to assemble. I’m very happy with the stand.
Dopo 3mesi di utilizzo devo dire che mi trovo benissimo.
I needed something better then the home made rig I made, and this did the trick. Took my 20 minutes to assemble and is easily adjustable to fit different people.
Perfect wheel stand for my son for his thrust master setup. He simply moves it to his closet when he is done with it for the day. Solid construction.
Like how it’s adjustable and compact, hated the instructions.. the rubber grips are useless on wood, keeps sliding on braking, the table top/steering wheel support bit on the weak side it does flex but nothing to serious would bend if u wanted it to tho, as for a 1st frame it’s Good enough
Als Basis fr mein Logitech Driving Force G29 gekauft.
Alles angebaut, mit Schaltknauf Logitech Driving Force Shifter ergnzt.
Alles passt perfekt.
Bin rundum zufrieden.
It’s really sturdy and has many adjustable bits. Comes with plenty of hardware, but they could learn a thing or 2 from IKEA on how to present assembly instructions.
NOTE: If you would like to adopt a more driver-like sitting position, and/or use your left foot to brake, I would recommend looking at a chair rather than a stand. Found myself straining esp when braking. Otherwise good investme
It is great. Can be adjusted to any level and really heavy
It’s not Rick solid, but it’s also only $80.
I’m very content with it!
Does what it needs to, little unstable left to right when you’re gettin rowdy with it.
I ignored a lot of reviews that criticized its stability, thinking those people were playing hardcore sims or were aggressive with the wheel, but in just a few days of use my shifter mount has started to bend. I’ve been relatively gentle as well. I think, if you’ve already dumped $300+ into a wheel, it’s worth spending an extra $30 or $40 on a nicer stand.
Sturdy and good quality for the price. Unfortunately 1 of the bolts were missing to attach the gear shifter; but still able to use the product.
I bought this to mount a Logitech wheel, pedals, and gear shifter for my PS4/PS5.
It arrives as a series of plates, bolts, and metal arms. The instructions don’t seem bad, but they’re unfortunately printed on a single sheet of paper. Every photo on it is quite small, making it very hard to make out specific details. You’ll figure it out, but it could be a lot easier if it was printed on even 2 sheets of paper.
The mount itself is quite good. It’s sturdy, entirely metal, and has slots that let you mount pretty much any variety of driving controller to it. The plates that hold each item can be slanted to best fit your situation. It also comes with a few bindings to help you wrap up your cables.
If you’ve bought a racing wheel and pedals I think something like this is a necessity. It holds everything where it should be and the whole thing can easily be put on the side when not in use.
This racing wheel stand is pretty sturdy, especially for the price point. I put my G29 and shifter on it and I much much prefer it to setting it up on my table every time. While it is nice, the instructions leave a lot to be desired as there was definitely confusion while building this stand.
Also, the “folding” mechanism isn’t exactly what I thought it might be; it is simply two screws on the side that you remove to fold it down then re-screw in to hold it in that folded down place. In my head, I thought it would be a quick fold system, but I guess I shouldn’t have expected that at this price point.
Upon purchasing the Logitech G29 for my PS5, having it on my knee was simply unplayable – this rig is definitely a must if you are planning to play games like Gran Turismo 7 or Wreckfest!
However, my only complaint is regarding the instructions. They were clearly made on a Word document and the instructions themselves are rather unhelpful to say the least! I would recommend to opt for a YouTube video which I resorted to – this will help massively
Surprised on how well it’s built for being one of the cheaper options for this type of bracket. The only gripe is with the shifter mount. The metal that attaches the arm to the shifter baseplate is very thin. After using the shifter for about 30 minutes of gameplay, I noticed that the shifter was leaning down at a 15 angle. I bent it back even. I was pressing down on the shifter and caused it to bend. Now that I know it bends easier, I make sure not to lean my hand on the shifter knob and it hasn’t bent since. Actually, it bent the first time my son used it too but I bent it back and told him to be careful. No issues since.
Quelques bruits de grincement et niveau solidit a reste dsir sinon a fait le taff vu le prix
This definitely takes two to put it up and as a helpful tip don’t tighten everything until its built up. My steering wheel and pedal fit great but still getting used to it… also as a side note Wath the you tube vid on how to build as the instructions are that great but still a solid unit would recommend
The stand is good, but the instructions are a bit off, your best off to watch the video on Amazons site while assembling the stand, the printed instructions are a bit vage. Also NOTE, in video they are wearing gloves. Be advise i got 2 metal slivers from the screws and bolts in my hands. And it hurts, worst then a wooden splinter.
As many others have chimed in, the instructions included are next to useless. View the full color pics here and you’ll figure it out.
I have to rebuke statements others have said about how the wheel mounting plate should be installed as some say it can go either way, which it can but you won’t be able to telescope the arms without a large hammer to facilitate it’s movement. If you flip the arms so the plate fits with the smooth side out that is.
Put the arms in the correct way and it’s still a little tight but can be moved by hand.
I would also state the non slip feet included are anything but non slip. If you are driving hard it’ll move around on a wood or tile floor, I’m going to have to figure something out to stop that from happening.
Ok, Right off the bat, I’d recommend you YouTube instructions on putting this together. Especially when it comes to the bottom plate. The included instructions tries to go the ikea route with pictures, but they don’t work quite as well.
Once I got the stand put together, I mounted my g920 wheel, pedals, and shifter and fired of Forza.
The wheel can be secured fine with the clamps but the shifter came off. Saw another review here that the shifter isn’t mountable.
BUT what I realized (and this is something the instructions don’t say, again I found out from a youtuber) is that you can simply screw the wheel, pedals, and shifter in place. Which makes sense because once you are done with the generally assembly, you are left with a lot of screws.
Once everything is screwed in, the stand, and peripherals are much more secure. I’m 6’0″, and the height and position of the wheel, pedals, and shifter and comfortable and a lot better than when I had it mounted on my desk. Right now, I’m just using an office chair as my driving chair. It works great.
This stand can fold, but I honestly just move it to a corner when I’m not racing.
Fired up ACC and rFactor 2 and maxed out the force feedback. The stand didn’t tip over. The stand is a bit wobbly though but again, it holds up great.
Lastly, cable management is… subpar. If you get this, get a cable sleeve to house all of the cables on this stand.
So, nice intro stand, and something I will definitely upgrade especially when I go Fantec.
The instructions are utterly useless aside from the picture of the whole things fully assembled, since that at least gives you something to work off of when deciding how to put the thing together.
The bolts were mostly there, but I had to swap in a longer bolt that was sent extra for a smaller bolt that was not present. It worked out okay since I just sawed the extra off after fixing it in place but still, it’s not something you should be expected to have to deal with when buying a product.
Luckily the finished article is pretty good and they even send extra bolts for you to fix your steering wheel, pedals and gears to. It’s definitely worth the price and didn’t take long to assemble even with the issues I ran into, but your mileage will vary on that since it is down to what tools you have available to address any issues you come up against.
For under $100, this is pretty much the best you can get.
It’s sturdy, the material isn’t cheap or brittle, and when assembled completely and correctly, it fits snugly together with your racing wheel/pedals/shifter (I installed a G920 wheel and pedals… no shifter). A few scratches on the finish here and there with minor paint peels, but that’s really the extent of the visual deficiencies, and it doesn’t affect the performance of the product in any way.
Shoutout to Court for writing up WAY better instructions than the manufacturer in China was able to. The product comes with hilariously bad instructions, with solid red lowercase text directly over a busy image, making the already poorly-written English exceedingly difficult to read.
This, paired with the fact that the product uses technical names for parts instead of an alphanumerical designation makes figuring out what the instructions are referring to more difficult than it should be. For example, there are many different sized bolts that are included for the build that have names like “M2x56mm Bolt” or “M2x22mm Bolt” instead of something more along the lines of “B1” and “B2” or something. It just makes identifying what you’re actually supposed to use annoying and takes more effort than it needs to.
Court’s recommendation to install things a bit “out of order” made things way easier. The order in which the manufacturer’s instructions tell you to install everything will make your life very difficult because they don’t take into consideration actually installing a wheel, pedals, or a shifter.
The biggest thing you can do to help yourself out is to wait until the *very end* to install the pedal mount base itself and install the pedals onto the pedal mount BEFORE you put the mount onto the stand itself.
Read Court’s whole review with images in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instructions to build this thing quickly and efficiently.
Hi, I have just finish assembling this stand. I would only recommend it if it is going to be used by a kid or a not very strong teenager. Having said that, I would say it is a very good stand. As you can see from the pictures all holes are aligned.
Some people complained about the extra bolts. The extra M6 bolts are there to fix the wheel, the gears and the pedals to the stand (see pictures 3 and 4). The G27 will take 2 bolts for the wheel, two bolts for the gears and four bolts for the pedals. I would fix the pedals before assembling the wheel/gears support arms.
My first advice is to go to your closest hardware store and buy M6 and M8 lock and flat washers. You will no need washers for the pedals base as it is supposed to move up and down depending on the driver size or sitting position. The same with the bolts that fix the wheel support arm to the base of the stand for the very same reason. However, if only one person is going to use this stand, go ahead and use washers there.
I strongly recommend to user both types of washers with every single remaining bolt.
I only give 4 stars because in my opinion, this stand will not support the strong movements of an adult and the lack of washers. Again, this is my opinion without using the stand myself. My daughter is happy that she can drive without a driver license hahaha
Excellent build, very sturdy. Solid build and straight forward to setup.
Arrived ahead of schedule. Fairly simple installation but instructions are pretty much useless. Use the online video instead.
Kit is sturdy and adjustable. Logitech G923 wheel fits perfectly. It has already made my driving games/sims much more comfortable to play.
Should you want to attach a seat at a later date it already has pre-drilled holes to secure additional framework.
Only thing would say is that the gear stick stand may bend if used to heavily. Would recommend using the pictures of the stand on Amazon to help construct it as the manual inside the box is a little difficult to see.
I needed a stand with a smaller footprint for my desk setup, and this one fit perfect. I was questioning the stability of the design though, even before buying. “Without a cross brace I hope the arms are thick enough not to wobble”. Turned out to be a very valid concern.
If you are using a Logitech wheel, you wont have many complaints, but I mounted a CSL Elite onto this, and instantly had to turn down the force feedback in game. Lots of side to side movement, all the way down to the arm mounting point, and there’s only a couple spot welds down there holding the brackets on.
The instructions werent as bad as people say, if you have built any furniture before, you can figure it out, its only about 10 bolts to assemble without the shifter.
It would be nice to have some more pre drilled mounting points for pedals and wheels, be ready to pull out the drill and make your own as I had to. I will also be adding my own simple cross brace to this stand to fix the wobble.
Good sturdy stand. Assembly instructions very poor, but found a useful video on YouTube
I was wary after seeing all the comments about how useless the instructions are, but in the end I didn’t need them at all – referring to a single photo on the listing, as someone else suggested, I found the assembly a doddle.
Now, obviously some people are technically minded and some aren’t. I am. Some people have never serviced a bicycle, changed a fuse, used a power tool, assembled an Ikea kit, played with lego or wired a light. And that’s fine, you don’t have to do that stuff. But this split in competence does make it hard to interpret reviews of a technical product. So speaking as someone who has done those things before: this is a doddle. It’s easier than a lego kit, easier than fitting a PC component, easier than Ikea furniture. If you have a picture to refer to it’s super easy and nothing to be scared of.
The finished frame is really sturdy and very well designed. I was going to DIY one out of wood (I can’t weld), and my early blueprint looks exactly like this one, so when I saw this existed, I decided not to bother. This is the perfect weight, strength, compactness and dimensions.
Some nice things I initially didn’t realise:
– it has screws and spacings to actually fix the Logitech pedal set to the bottom plate.
– the centre of gravity is really nice and there’s no risk of it tipping towards you.
– the wheel plate is actually slightly pitch adjustable.
– the wheel plate has block protrusions that line up perfectly with the Logitech wheels to clamp on better.
Some things I didn’t like:
– the bolts to adjust the pitch of the bottom plate aren’t thumb turn like the height adjust. I’m not sure why they aren’t – they could easily have been.
– there are a few washers included, but not enough to put them between all (or even many) of the fittings. It’s weird; either include washers or don’t. It’s okay without washers, but they are undoubtedly better, so why only include 4?
– the shifter plate has no blocks or solid underside, it’s hollow, meaning for the Logitech shifter you have to improvise with a block of wood or similar for the screw clamp to be able to tighten.
Overall it’s great, minor details I would change if I were in charge, but broadly it is exactly what it should be.
Bin echt zufrieden mit dem Stnder. Klappert oder wackelt nichts, die Fe sind einstellbar, und verkratzen nicht den Boden. Ich habe viel Spa damit, und fr das Geld wrde ich es wieder kaufe
