Very powerful considering electric
Huge amount of thatched picked up. Much like others I gave up with the box and just raked later as much quicker. Only used 3rd highest setting and picked up loads still.
Great choice
Looked at all the options and this was the best value for power and capability. Went through the thatch like it was nothing after years of neglect, and lawn beautifully thick and green after a bit of overseeding 3 weeks later. Go for it.
Great piece of ki
I previously purchased a cheaper alternative and had to return it after it failed on the first use so decided to spend a bit more and chose this brand. Very impressed with the result, it’s easy to put together and quite powerful. My lawn needed a revamp and this cut through it perfectly. Very happy with it!

does the job quick and worth the value
great product at reasonable price, I’d say the taking dead grass is working fine, moss is a bit harder on smaller patch. The aeration head doesn’t really deliver high value though. It basically dethatch too.
Does a great job
Level 1 was too much, on the setting, as it left my grass with bare patches, so level 3 was perfect and it got 2 wheely bins full of moss out without much effort- really impressive! So much better than trying by hand with a rake- no competition .
Light and effective
Good value for money. It wasn’t the easiest to assemble as there were no instructions. I’m not DIY person but once I got my head around it I assembled it fairly quickly.
The machine is light and easy to use. I have read reviews that question the longevity of the motor. Only time will answer that question but as of now I am very satisfied with the product.
Vonhaus Scarifier Rake electric
First time using one. Does what it’s supposed to do.
I used the scarifier in the back garden and the rake attachment for the front garden. Left the blad high up on the rake as l just wanted the front garden raked. But basically it pulled nearly everything out of the ground the same as the sacrifice did. Only difference was the scarifier cut deep into the grass and soil. Either way done it’s job. It’s a good little buy and worth it and l would buy it again although it is a bit on the noises side. Louder than my lawn mower l think. I would recommend this to anyone.
It does what it does
Luckily DH fits it together but found it really fiddly. Once up and running excellent rotation but churns up the lawn when you need to turn corners or come to doing the edges. It is very lightweight and therefore the top handle area is heavier than the machine which means it tips over easily. Once you get the hang of it it is good to go. I would recommend

Rake and scarifie
Ignore negative posts. Easy to assemble
I’ve never raked lawn before so thatch build up was significant without me realising it.
Emptied bag every 3 min or so on first and second pass, whilst starting high then on second pass lowering.
Vast difference in lawns presentation.
I then Scatified again started high and second pass lowered for improved aeration.
I’m no gardener, but this really works.
Obviously don’t run constantly, obviously if you hardly take bag will fill quickly.
It’s a great product and super happy with my purchase.

As a scarifier it works really well and save so much time and effort. Never buy a manual scarifier.

Powerful
This scarifier is easy to assemble, and light weight. I can lift it with one arm- I’m not a body builder I’m a 58 year old woman
It removes moss and clover well.
Perfect.
Used this to both rake, scarify and heavy scarify the lawn and it seems brilliant. Enough power that deep scarifying doesn’t cause any problems at all.
Height adjustments for both scarifying and taking work well.
Like all of these if you have heavy moss the collection box is pointless. That isn’t really a criticism of this device; it applies to all of this design.

Very useful 2-in-1 garden tool. After just one session of scarifying & raking my lawn, the neighbours noticed the huge difference, immediately. They’re now planning to buy this tool. It’s worth every penny paid for it.
A certified well but narrator didn't penetrate.
It works. But the rollers are a bit difficult to change. I think your grass needs to be soft otherwise it can’t penetrate dry soil.
