Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis blower / vacuum is a good value for the money as it is a strong blower and easily picks up leaves. It struggles with small branches and pine nuts but it probably is not designed for that. It is just on the noisy side so ear plugs are a must.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought in August whilst on promotional offer for this year’s autumn leaves. Light but well built with great suction and the blower certainly does the job! Found it light enough to hold without using the shoulder strap and removed the wheels as not needed. I love that it munches up the leaves into smaller pieces making them easier to dispose of. There is some noise whilst in operation, but it’s no louder than an electric lawn mower really. So far I’ve only used on dry leaves so couldn’t say what is like on wet ones, but I would certainly recommend this leaf blower, it does a really good job!

Two piece pipe seems a little cheap but it does the job! 3 screw’s to put it all together, and easy to use and switch from blow to suck very happy!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter spending a day on hands and knees picking up beech seeds and kernels, attempting to rake them up and trying with the lawn mower I researched leaf vacs. I read a review stating it picked up beech nuts. So bought it. So, so pleased. It sucks up everything. Has wheels so not as heavy to use, although on our rough lawn it is easier to not use the wheels. I did the whole area in less than an hour and only emptied the bag twice. I thought the bag very small when assembling it (very easy), but it ground up the kernels very finely. I would highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI found this as a lightning deal on Amazon for about 40. I had been looking at others costing up to 4 times as much, but decided to take a chance on this and I have not been disappointed. First of all, it has a very powerful motor at 3 KW which is what you need to suck up leaves and debris through such a large nozzle. Even then you have to keep the nozzle close to the surface for best effect and the two little rollers help with this. The battery powered ones can’t compete. It is easy to assemble and with a 10m power cable it can reach all points on my driveway from and external power socket. Well pleased and highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy first ever leaf blower but I’m quite impressed. Powerful enough to pick up the majority of large debris. The rest remaining can be blown away. The bag makes it easy to collect and empty the collected foliage. The blow action is way more powerful than the suck. It will literally blow away anything on your patio or pathways and leave them clean. The sucking is adequate enough and it picks up most things easily. It picked up most leaves without disturbing my edging stones which was pleasing. A little bulky perhaps. Would I go cordless next time, probably yes as I just makes it more convenient to pull out the shed and use, rather than having to find the extension lead, plug it through the house etc. The wire is long enough, but just short to reach across my garden. Decent product though, and easy to put together. Just 2 screws which need to be put in to hold the pipe together.

Being disabled , this leaf blower is amazing . I can wheel it along the grass so easy to pick up leaves . No heavy carrying or lifting of anything . So easy to use and empty .
    Highly recommend

First off, I’ll say – like other reviewers – that assembling it was a bit of a faff, but I didn’t take that long and wasn’t overly difficult. The unit itself is certainly powerful enough for our needs. Both on now and suck, it dealt with both dry and damp lawn cuttings and leaves – so powerful, in fact, that it also moved a whole load of stone chippings from my pathway (not a problem – I just lift the blower further away; it’s not too heavy); it couldn’t be easier to use (flick the switch to suck or blow) and turn it on. My only real negative – aside from the faffy assembly – is that it’s a very noisy bit of kit. However, that doesn’t detract from what is a really decent, well-priced machine.

This lead blower is so handy for cleaning the autumn leaves from my fake grass lawn – it works a treat at blowing and then sucking them all up in the nifty little bag which is easy to clean. Real value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt feels and seems quite powerful especially with suction, but you do have to tip the nozzle forward to pick up leaves etc.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe Vonhaus Leaf Blower/ Vacuum-3000W was purchased very recently by me after my husband returned a mains free Bosch blower to the garden centre that HE had just purchased because, basically, it was useless and expensive. I don’t make a habit of leaving reviews, but the electric Vonhaus is excellent! Yes, it is mains powered, but the electric cable is very long and once plugged in to an extension cable would stretch the length of most family gardens and beyond. It is a powerful leaf blower and vacuum and the bag attachment is large too. Assembly and operation are both simple and straight forward. I also like the shoulder strap which helps because it is quite chunky, (think military grade rocket launcher!). I have to agree with others that it is quite noisy, but it’s a cheap price to pay. But, if you want the job done properly, this performs very well indeed. My husband is 5’11. I’m 5’3, petite and 105 lbs and we can both operate it with ease. For the price, it beats Bosch etc hands down. Definitely recommend. Many thanks

To sum up, Great price, arrives in a deceptively small box, easy to assemble, picks up leaves etc. blows, has shoulder loop, big bag for shredded leaves with long zip.
Like other reviews yes it is noisy, so get cheap earplugs or headphones, but it’s the best 50 I have spent recently, does what other more expensive ones do anyway. Brillia

We have three terrace type areas around our bungalow and a largish gravel driveway bordered with shrubs. Clearly although we don’t have to do much digging or mowing our numerous large pots containing shrubs, trees and bushes do produce a huge amount of leaves and bits and pieces. The petrol driven previous device never worked properly and my husband spent many hours trying to make it work before giving it away to a more mechanically minded friend. He selected this as a better option, so although the user is constrained by the electrical lead needing to be plugged in, this appears to be a non problem in our case. It is efficient and does what it should with very little faffing around. He is satisfied, the leaves are removed – job done.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDidn’t expect much for the price but this is a brilliant bit of kit! Set up is easy. It easily takes leaves, grass cuttings and seeds but also small branches with ease. Using it over gravel it picks up the odd bit of gravel too because the suction is really powerful, so I hold it a bit further away and it just gets the leaves.

The blower tool is handy to move leaves onto a paving slab or grass area before hoovering them up. The shredder is great as you can clear a lot before having to empty the bag via the simple zip on the underside of the bag. Very glad I bought this, so much easier than raking up garden waste and leaving little bits of leaves behind everywhere. The garden looks so much neater.

If you suction up too large a branch and block the machine then it is a simple process to unclip the bag and pull out the branch, then back to using it again within 1-2 minutes.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this because my old one broke , was looking at a battery powered one (just a blower) glad I didn’t .. out the very small box came the blower, not very impressed, looked flimsy? And there was screws to the “funnel” ? My last one use to get jambed and was for ever taking the “funnel” off .
But this works really well! I Cut the ivy on a wall ,and it picked it up , and shredded it down didn’t jam once! Blower is ok , not as power full as my last one , but good enough . Impressed especially for the price ! . Delivered the next day .
Good for the money , 2yr warranty too .. for the money worth ago . Obviously only ment for private small gardens .

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersUsed this 3 times now. Once after cutting my cherry tree… Picked all the leaves up, no problem and there were lots of them. Then the 2nd time was this tough reed like stuff I have in my garden. Hoovered it up brilliantly even though there was a good 12″ pile of it. Then went down side of house picking leaves up including (it had sucked it up before I could stop it) a disposable mask which it also shredded up Only reason I knocked a star off was the wheels came off at one point. Not sure how because the screw was tightened up well. Just hope it doesn’t keep dropping off. There’s a knack to using it as a garden hoover but it’s powerful and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Would I recommend it, yes. I haven’t used it as a leaf blower, I’m assuming it’s just as strong blowing as it is sucking

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOverall, a helpful piece of equipment for keeping the garden and paths clear of leaves. However, the suction mechanism requires you to get it just at the right angle and can be heavy going. I’d prefer some more power for that part.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHad a new one of these a few years back (an old version) and was fairly happy with the thing except for a few problems I found later.
    1. Wet leaves clog up the entire impeller housing and cleaning it out involved dismantling the thing.
    2. Palm leaves are to tough for the blades.
    3. Emptying it was a bit of a palaver.
    4. Never used the blower as it was a faff too.
This new model seems to have solved nos. 3 and 4.
We’ll see about 1 and 2 come autumn!!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a decent bit of kit for the price. Bought it to replace my Bosch model which gave up after 8 years use. Only used this new vac once so time will tell as to how durable it is, but if it only lasts half as long as the Bosch I’ll be happy. I’ve had several different makes over the years, including a petrol model at one time, and I’m very pleased with this.
I found it very easy and quick to assemble, and it’s lightweight to use compared to my old heavy Bosch which had started to give me back ache, so I found that was a bonus. Its powerful enough and the simple switch between suck & blow functions is great. To be honest, I never used the blow function on the Bosch as I just couldn’t be bothered switching around the funnels. It was easier just to sweep the leaves into a pile, so having an instant no fuss switch-over is now very handy.
The only small negative is the length of the shoulder strap. It’s obviously designed for taller users. Even adjusting it to it’s shortest length it’s still too long for me. Fortunately I kept the Bosch strap as it’s more substantial anyway, so problem solved. Just a word to the wise though if you happen be less than 6ft tall.
Overall a good sensibly priced garden vac and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI bought this leaf blower/ sucker for 49.99 and if I’m honest I wasn’t expecting alot. I just wanted an entry level item to see if it was practical for my garden which consists of endless steps and patches of gravel.

First of all the blower function – adequate power, just enough to push clumps wet leaves around at closer distances so overall not bad.

Second the sucking function – This is where the item excelled and the primary reason I bought this item. Its able to suck up wet and dry leaves even in big clumps along with dirt, twigs and other small debris. It absolutely shined when coming to removing debris from gravel… I mean wow its strong enough to disturb the gravel and pull the leaves and debris from beneath but also not powerful enough suck the stones all the way up the pipe and cause damage to the item.

The built in mulcher function is excellent aswell considering I sucked up a fair few stick and it made light work of them and also took up considerably less space in my green bin.

The item was very easy to assemble and self explanatory having put the item together without instructions in under 5 minutes and the blower came packaged very well.

I have attached a video showing the blower sucking up some freshly cut leaves from a hedge and also attached some before and after photos of a couple areas in my garden…

I would highly recommend this item and I will be looking forward to easily maintaining my garden with it in the future

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I expected!

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersOur house is surrounded by trees (fir, sycamore, eucalyptus, bamboo etc) so we have a leaf problem. Sweeping and scooping up was a real chore until this baby came along. The packaging is good and assembly is straightforward. The blower is very effective as too is the suction capability. Best approach is to blow the leaves into a corner and concentrate them, then suck them up rather than trying to simply suck everything up where it lies. It copes excellently with any size of leaf and mashes them to a small and easily disposable size. The bag seems pretty robust and easily emptied. Cable length is good too. Two things to be aware of: (i) it is quite noisy [102db stated on box] and (ii) wear old clothes when using; if your are sucking up dry and dusty material then dust passes through the bag and you will get covered in it! Apart from that it has been a great purchase and great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving read many reviews on budget-priced garden vacuum/blowers I decided to give it a go having had a very poor experience with a bigger-priced unit. The order came the next day and was well packaged and easily assembled. The motor is powerful and delivers all that is needed. The blower packs a good amount of air and provided you use the vacuum as designed is powerful enough. I am not a great advocate of a wheel attached to the end of the suction tube and it struggled to pick up larger dead leaves. However, for normal-sized dead leaves, it coped well. For the price, it is good value.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have a deciduous tree planted over a rockery by a prior genius resident. This is very effective at hoovering up dead leaves. It isn’t quite a thorough with grass trimmings, but for its primary purpose it is a revelation. My only qualm is that the collection bag is seemingly a looser weave than it appears so, combined with the general force of the suction, the user gets FILTY with dust and dirt- genuinely comical levels of filth. Would buy again, but beware!

Good all round leaf blower/sucker. My old machine coped with dry soil on garden beds, this machine tends to blow thru the bag covering you in dust. Better to collect leaves when the ground is slightly damp to avoid dust.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe blowing power is amazing.
Use as a hoover is not so good, the nozzle has to be close to the ground, but it does the job.
The bag is basically a coarse filter and fine dost just blows straight through it, so you do create a pretty big dust cloud. Good idea to wear a mask.
Quite noisy, but I guess you can’t expect something this powerful to be quiet!
The attached mains cable is a good length. but if you’re like me, you’ll chop it off the end and put on a standard orange garden mains connector, and use one of your existing cables.
Generally very good value for money at 45.

Well designed and ingeniously packaged, this was quick to assemble and use- no more than 10 minutes from box to garden.

Suction ok- not sure what I expected- does better on large leaves than general leafy debris. Mulches well so the bag doesn’t fill too quickly. I have a patio so haven’t used blow function much- suffice to say it was powerful enough to blow everything absolutely everywhere. In an open space, I imagine it’s quite useful.

I bought on a budget (and a whim) and don’t feel cheated or remorseful, it’s a good product that I will keep using.

I was very sceptical of the leaf sucking ability of something like this, so bought this as it was cheap and I expected it not to work out. But it very much surpassed my expectations. It sucks leaves very well, even when damp on flags it will suck them up. The mulching works well too, everything is shredded and so takes up little room in the bag or bin. Even sucking up and shredding small twigs is ok. The cord is long and so I can reach most of my garden using that alone from my power points. For the price this is a great buy and it has continued to work well for the last 2 years. The only thing I would want now is a battery operated one that works this well, just as I would use it more.

This is probably the best leaf vacuum/blower in it’s price range. No doubt about it. It seemed to deal with all types of leave in my garden. Oak leaves, sycamore, willow. The bag isnt the biggest, but if it was bigger it would be considerably heavy once full. This mulches all leaves up nicely and I managed to clear my garden (150ft long) in a few hours (3 large oak trees present). It does pick up some small sticks as well though which can get mashed up, but they go through it fine. One issue I did have is when it was very wet, it did accumulate a few leaves which stopped more being picked up. Took the hose off, cleared it and it was working as normal. This took me about 5 minutes. It does pick up damp leave, but not very wet ones, though I have had a blower before, more powerful that didn’t shift wet leaves. Even the other half enjoys it. Just make sure you were some ear protection, it is LOUD! That’s not a downside, it just means it’s powerful.

    Very lightweight /good length cable/easy to put together/decent suction/
    Not so hot !
Tube could be wider as the leafs can block the end easily
collection bag quite small fills up quickly
also fiddly clip system for collection bag but overall for the money not a bad piece of kit remains to be seen how long it will last
Oh and its made in china !

The machine is great for picking up dry leaves it done my whole back garden in less than an hour I have a massive oak tree. The mulching bag is very big and takes alot before needing emptying. Wet leaves are not so great with it as the leaves clog up the mulcher. It is heavier than expected and a bit fidely to empty the bag by yourself. But overall it works great and would definitely recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was a little uneasy when I bought this due to a couple of negative reviews but I can only assume these people are not using the product correctly or are just impossible to please because I think it is excellent.

Assembly is simply attaching the 2 sections of nozzle together and the wheels and is literally 3 clicks and 2 screws. Takes less than 5 mins and you are good to start sucking or blowingwhichever takes your fancy.

I have numerous trees and bushes in my garden as do my neighbours so in autumn you literally cannot see the lawn for leaves. I plugged this baby in and got to work and it more than did what I hoped. I found using the blow function to loosen the leaves from the ground first before vacuuming them up and absolutely annihilating with the mulch feature was the best way. You literally switch it vacuum mode and it sucks up everything in sight and deposits it all into little pieces in the collection bag. You can then empty it into your garden bin and you are back in business.

An absolute bargain at 44 it was was excellent value for money.

If you are besieged by leaves in your garden then definitely worth buying. We have a good size garden and from using this so far it would be great whatever size you have. It will do the job!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a really great piece of kit. It comes packed well in a remarkably small package for its final iteration. Putting it together is pretty instinctive but had to re-read the instructions to understand that the small screw that you attach the wheels with is already on the wheel assembly (a guttural response to the instruction manual identifying 3 screws but only 2 being in the little bag). I also struggled with how to attach the carrying strap correctly but finally settled on just leaving the hook in place and adjusting the strap to hang on one shoulder. Not sure this is the intent because the strap kept falling off my shoulder but perhaps the manufacturer could explain it better in response to this review.
As a blower, it’s really powerful, initially blowing dirty great sycamore leaves all over my modestly sized London front garden but once I figured out a technique it blew the little buggers in a direction that I could control. As I don’t have any lawn in the front garden, it was a bit tricky to blow the leaves off the top of the soil and various pots and I definitely blew quite a lot of loose top soil along with the leaves but then I discovered the vacuum and mulch function. Yes, as others have commented on, 2 months worth of sycamore leaves are going to stick to the opening of the vacuum tube, but again it’s all about technique. I started off by using my hands to clear the tube, to see and hear the satisfying “phrump” of releasing the leaves into the mulcher but then I realised why the wheels are on the tube. Just use it like a home vacuum cleaner and it sort of clears itself. I also discovered that you can just use your foot to push the leaves through the opening. The main delight though was how many leaves you can shred into the collection bag. In previous years, when clearing leaves by rake and hand, I’d fill 2 50ltr gardening bags, with numerous periods of jumping up and down inside the bag in an unedifying recreation of childhood sack races. This thing just devours the leaves, twigs and everything else that garden waste can throw at you. Unfortunately, having an urban London garden, it also functions as a feline fundament evacuation depository or cat crappery. The sweet smell of pulverised leaves was replaced by the less than pleasant odour of ordure. Initially, I had discovered a cache of historic deposits, so the pulverisation resulted in a powdery putrescence wafting all around me, a miasma of multiple Macavitys leavings. Fortunately, or not, we’ve all just had 2 years of mask wearing, so my Covid protectors came out to filter the feline fetidness. It sort of worked, the older deposits smelt lesser but the fresher additions were acrid in a way I hadn’t anticipated. Top tip, wear a mask though-out
Back to the kit, it sucked up everything, mulched it like a monster and was a joy to use. Buy it but ask for an extra bag and beware the bottom buttons deposited by your friendly neighboured Top Cats.

Update: customer service got back to me really quickly and are sending a replacement bag. Great service

This garden vac was purchased as a replacement for one I have had for many years and has now given up.
I was a bit dubious when unpacking it that it was up to the job but I was wrong and after it’s first outing I am delighted with it. It is much lighter in weight and the tube is a bit narrower but it blows and sucks up the leaves very well, even large maple which can sometimes clog. It is easy to handle and turns the debris into a finer grade, ideal for the compost bin. Two year guarantee and a keen price. What’s not to like!

Eas to assemble, weight not too bad long as you use the straw to take the weight
But you cerymust at all cost wear ear protectors which wasn’t mentioned in the advert, why can’t it be inclywith the machine
I bought a pair from B & Q for a few Quidco, which works very well.
But you try to contact the customer service for information regarding the warranty, never responded after several emails
I even bought the cordless hand shears as the set.
I certainly won’t buy this brand again & won’t recommend

Purchased this in 2019 for 37 quid worth a punt. Performance is good at sucking dry leaves in ones or twos that are apart from each other. It is no good for a pile of leaves, the nozzle just clogs up and you need to use your boot to remove some leaves and keep going. It doesn’t operate well with the wet leaves, in fact this will cause it to block and you will have to turn every thing off and remove the nozzles and remove the blockage or it will over heat the motor. Worth clearing out the blades once in a while to maintain it. While operating there is a slight vibration with continued use and can be come a little heavy there is a strap but this isn’t great and the bag to collect the mulched leaves the plastic clip has snapped and I have managed to fix/bodge with some pins. Over all ok for the price I paid.

I had to get a new garden vac after my last one sadly died after years of service.
After reading reviews i opted for this one and after using it i am mighty impressed.
It is used primarily for sucking up and mulching holly leaves from bushes and tress in the garden-anyone that has them will know how annoying they can be.
I always until the leaves are dry or it will just clog up the machine(certainly this was the case with my old one) and have to say the suction was great-it was even sucking up chuckies which i wasn’t too impressed with.
It is very light compared to my last machine that was more or less identical and was easy to assemble and i have to concur with another review that the packaging it is shipped in is remarkably economical to say the least!!!
At the time of writing this review i cannot praise it enough and would definitely recommend it.
I only gave 4* for drying power as i do not use it for this purpose.

For the price point, your expectations shouldn’t be sky high. It’s electric, it’s cheap, it’s not particularly beefy, but it works fine. The suction isn’t amazing and you’ll struggle with small branches or wet leaves, but for the most part it’s good enough, certainly for my needs. The jet is reasonably powerful for an electric blower and works more or less as you’d expect.

As someone not particularly tall, I find the shoulder strap almost uselessly long, even on its shortest setting, but that’s a fairly minor complaint.

The shredding function is ok, and results in small enough pieces that you can get a lot more leaf/debris into your bin than you otherwise would have, so happy enough with it.

Overall, probably won’t win any awards, but good enough.

For the price, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Pretty light weight, easy enough to assemble although you will need a philips head screwdriver. The blowing power is very good, the collection bag works fine. I bought this because my Flymo hover lawn mower was blowing cut grass everywhere.

The blower is more effective in blowing things that sucking up. In fact when on suction mode, you need to be very close to the ground almost kissing for the suction to work or you’ll find it’s actually blowing. Noisy enough, but no more than a lawnmower, despite what you may read – at least from my perspective.

In short it’s good buy, once you figure out how the suction function works, you’ll be pleased with the outcome, the blow function powerful, the 2 wheels on the front are helpful to guide it along during suction mode, the image you see with the wheels touching the ground is about the angle the suction works

For the price you can’t do much better, i’ve used it 3 times now, and i’ve been happy.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersFor the price this item is an absolute bargain! Having previously borrowed my dad’s petrol garden blower I decided this was something I needed in my life. I came across this on amazon, read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. My partner told me it was most probably going to be rubbish due to the fact its electric and cheap. Imagine my face when it arrived and turned out to be a little beaut of a machine! I could see his puppy dog eyes watching through the window, I’m not made of stone so I offered him a chance to try it. He also agrees that this blower is great and of course i could of took great pleasure in saying “I told you so” but I decided to be the bigger person. Between us we cleared all of the leaves in our garden with minimal effort.

    Pro’s:-
    Easy to assemble
    Powerful for size
    Comfortable weight to hold
    Good suction power
    Easy to empty bag

    Cons:-
    No cord tidy

This leaf blower is loud as you would expect but It means you can sing at the top of your voice without being heard.

If your reading this thinking is the leaf blower for me then yes, yes it is.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our Usersok i have a bosch leaf vac already and when the bag split after 5 years i looked for a new one .. 21 plus P&p
then i saw the Von Haus machine for a few pounds more , so heh lets try it.
Ok it arrived in a smallish brown box that i wondered what was in there however , ingenious packing to reduce size and waste. really easy to put together only needs a screwdriver.
Lifgt to use good blowing power and suction too , found that with a large pile of leaves a quick blow first to loosen it up and then switch to suction worked a treat. Careful if the leaves are really wet that you dont try to ” bite off ore than it can chew” or it will block, common sense really
Would have given i 5* but
    1) the clips that hold the bag to the machine are too small and are difficult to squeeze if you have gloves on , need to be twice the size.
    2) the exit nozzle from the machine into the bag is a bit too small and rectangular in shape. Would be better circular then it will not block as easily. Having said that after an hours use i only had to debag it 3 times to deblock , and that was due to some woody twigs getting in .

value for money 100%, went to buy another one as a gift for a friend only to find out it been withdrawn ???
no idea why …. stop press B&M selling them badged as RAC leaf vac !!! what have the RAC got to do with leaves i dunno , but its the same thing 27.99

I’ve just moved to a house with lots of gravel areas surrounded by trees. All the autumn leaves get swept up in the wind and dumped in our two doorways. Plus, if you leave them, the leaves rot down and turn into compost encouraging weeds to grow in the gravel. Never used anything like this before so I can’t compare with similar items.
Reviews for this product were positive, the price in comparison to similar products was outstanding so I took a chance. I’ve only used the blower/vac properly once, but I’m not disappointed. Both blower and vac work very well. With larger, loose dry leaves the vac is great, mulching as it sucks up the fallen foliage. With smaller leaves, petals, needles etc I found it best to blow the detritus into a corner and pick it up or suck it up from the pile. If you’re careful it won’t suck up gravel/small slate chips and if it does you can hear the pebbles rattle up the tube and stop the vac – they’ll just fall straight out. As other reviewers have said, if you use the wheels this holds the vac at the right height to largely avoid issues with gravel.
The bag isn’t that big, but if it was any bigger it would begin to get too heavy to comfortably use the power tool, so I think they’ve got it right.
The only issue is the pain of having to move an extension lead around to get to all the areas of my garden and that isn’t a fault of this item – I knew it would be the case when I bought it. I only mention it as I might also buy a cheap cordless blower to allow me to move the leaves out of problem spots regularly then pull out this big gun every now and again to blitz the problem.
Too soon to say if it will stand the test of time but no complaints in terms of it doing what it was meant to.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThe item is as described, and the comments given by the vast majority are accurate and helpful. In my opinion this is a “light to medium” duty tool. I live on a park with lots of oaks and rhododendrons. Leaves fall on my patio, gravel drive, lawn and shrub border. It works best on the patio, and is excellent for blowing away the debris that collects in the corners by the wall. The blower is also excellent at pushing surface layers of leaves along to form a pile. I had hoped that I could “suck-up” a pile of leaves and mulch them. But, this is not the case. Piles of dry leaves block the tube, though single leaves are “inhaled” easily, and mulched in the bag, and for these it is very good. It is useful to carry a separate garden bag in which to empty the collection. The 10m cable is OK, but, in my case an extension lead is essential. The mower is better for picking up leaves on the lawn, but the blower is excellent for driving leaves away from corners and trees into the path of the mower. The machine is certainly preferable to a rake or broom, but it is not able to cope with large volumes of leaves. Having said that, it is a useful gadget, well designed, easy to use, not heavy to carry and from my wallet’s point of view “a good buy”.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI have always been a bit sceptical of leaf blowers. I had one before and it really was not very good. A big name brand too and more expensive that this one. I only had it a year before it stopped working and I, like many people, do not keep receipts or guarantees and, let’s face it, it is hassle sending things back and you know it is not going to be an easy ride.

My dad saw an advert for one of these in his daily paper and I said that I would get it for him. I ordered it on here and it arrived two days later. He has a small back yard which is paved with a few flower beds around the edge and some planters. It also has trees the other side of his attractive brick wall (it is over 200 years old) and the leafs from the trees the other side blow onto his patio. Being in his 80s it is not that easy for him to bend down and pick them up so this is the ideal tool for him to clear the patio quickly and effectively. It worked straight out of the box and it easy to assemble. It blows and sucks too and the bag is big enough. It has wheels on the bottom so you don’t have to hold it up too which is very ergonomic. It even has a mulching feature so you can pack the leafs tight in the bag. At this price no one can complain. I have seen similar items from big brands including a turquoise one beginning with the letter B and an orange one with the letters FM that are several times the price of this little beauty. This is a great value, high quality product.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI have problems with back, shoulders and neck, and had never bought a leaf vac previously as they are all too heavy for me to use for any length of time. This one is particularly lightweight, and I don’t have any problems using it. The blower function is very powerful, and the shredding function is very good resulting in a fine enough mulch for composting.
The only down side is that the vacuum power is a bit weak – but what can you expect from such a lightweight motor? It is fine for picking up dry leaves, but if wet, especially if they have been trodden into the ground a bit, they can be hard to pick up. My tip is to use the blower first to move everything around into piles, and “unsticking” the leaves from the ground and then hoovering them up. Unlike some reviewers here, I have had no issues with blockages. As far as I am concerned, this must go down as buy of the year.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI have been meaning to buy a leaf vac for years… I saw this one for a great price so after reading the reviews of others bought it. I used it for the first time today and was blown away (not literally!) On blow function it is as powerful as petrol blowers… easily blew the leaves out from under my car and the flowerbeds… on suction mode i was very impressed at its ability to pick up even wet leaves.. no problem, mulches it up in the bag… which when obviously full.. it easy to detach and empty. The little wheels are excellent on the grassy areas.. and takes the weight of the machine off your arms.. the shoulder strap was a little short for me (6’4″) but the machine is usable without it. It is quite a lot noisier than I expected.. but not disturbingly so.. overall… a great vac/blower easy to assemble.. and use. highly recommend this for anyone who finds picking up leaves a chore!

Golden Review Award: 249 From Our UsersThis is the first Leaf Blower I have ever bought or used (and my first Amazon review). We have a large Magnolia tree beside our front drive, which has meant hours of work each year dealing with the autumn leaves, hence the purchase of this blower.
I researched several blowers and based on positive reviews and price, opted for this one.
I have used it once, it was very easy to put together with just a Phillips screw driver needed. It exceeded my expectations and made easy work of a tedious job. The bag gets filled fairly quickly but on the positive side, it is easy to empty using the zip opening. I’ve recommended this to friends and family already.

Golden Review Award: 334 From Our UsersThis product was delivered a day early. It arrived in a very plain box, but I did not buy packaging, I bought the product inside. So not bothered! I assembled it in 10 minutes flat, very easy to put together. Just had to have a screwdriver to screw 2 sections together. Strong but lightweight. When I first used it yesterday, what an amazing vacuum, blower and mulcher. Very powerful machine and yet so easy to operate! Blower works very well, suction on the vacuum incredibly good, works very well in my medium sized garden. Easy to use, light-weight and amazing value for money! Don’t buy those expensive “brand name” products, buy this one! You won’t be disappointed. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it!

Golden Review Award: 131 From Our UsersDon’t be disconcerted by the small package. Two screws (with a third already in the component) and it is easily and quickly (5 minutes with a power driver) assembled into a full size machine. Powerful enough for my small patio garden overlooked by a huge Ash and Elder. Seems fully adequate (and, yes, noisy). I failed to zip the bag up at first and ended up with shredded leaves all over the place! A quick blast of the blower function and it all disappeared into the borders – patio cleaner than its ever been – brilliant. Heavy wind from Storm Ali hit an hour ago, cleared the leaves with no clogging.

Golden Review Award: 773 From Our UsersI paid about 35 quid for this. The price I’d pay for a meal with my missus at a value for money restaurant. Staggering when you think about it. Because, despite the bargain bin price it works surprisingly well.

When I got this the box it came in looked about the size of a shoe box and I wondered if I’d ordered the wrong item to be honest. When I opened it up there’s no doubt I was looking at a marvel of packaging the likes I’d hardly seen before. And whilst one of course understands that this is because the manufacturer – which despite the name is probably something like ‘The Lucky Garden Company of Kowloon,’ is being parsimonious with the disposable materials, in fact the by-product of this approach is minimal waste.

I like that to be honest.

So, once assembled we have what is a standard(ish) sized leave vac/blower that due to its low rent price is very lightweight and easy to use. F1 car designers spend millions making a part a few grams lighter. Can I suggest that instead they have the same budget of this company and they will really see some cuts.

So being cheap, its light to use and ideal for those who don’t have arms like a gorilla. Win, win.

In use the thing that astonished me is that it actually works and works well. Really. The only problem is that the nozzle is clearly designed to make the best of the small motor and is thus quite small so that if you bury this in a pile of leaves it will block up. Once you get the hang of not doing that it works fine.

Best bit is the blower function. That very same narrow idea is transferred to the underslung blower section and that means quite a powerful jet of air that’s more than able to shift most of the leaves easily.

And this comes with a decent length of power cord.

Honestly, even if you bought one of these a year you would still be quids in. And given that despite the cheapo cost, actually its not badly made means you’ll probably get a few years out of this.

    Amazing.
