    Really pleased with the product. Appears good value for money. It required minimal assembly, is no too heavy and has a shoulder strap to help support it. Also the wheels on the suction tube mean that it can be rolled along the ground rather than having to be held just above ground level. The motor is also powerful giving it good suction or blower capability.

    Purchased in October 2024 for my 93-year old mother who is a very keen gardener. She normally likes to use a garden rake to drag the leaves off her large lawn, but that took at least an hour. This tool does the same job in around 15-20 minutes.

    PROS
    – assembly a cinch (5-minutes);
    – quality of materials (excellent);
    – ease of use (excellent);
    – efficiency (excellent);
    – powerful suction (excellent);
    – two handles (makes it easier to lift).

    CONS
    – very loud (but not more so than a electric lawnmower);
    – too heavy for single-handed operation (but two handles solve that);
    – vibrations in the top handle can make it uncomfortable to hold with a bare-hand – it’s a bit of a bone-shaker (perhaps wear thick garden gloves to cushion your hands).

    Heartily recommended. Super product. Works exactly how it should. Extremely happy purchase.

    Only used it twice and it seems to do what it says Blows well and Vacs up the leaves It’s quite light to lug around with an adjustable strap. Came well packaged and easily put together. Easy to empty zip bag so you don’t need to remove it for emptying. All in all quite happy for the price

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have three trees one a very large Oak tree within 30 ft of each other all dropping lots of leaves, this machine copes very well with picking up the dry leaves an mulching them into the bag to pic up more. having only just had it but used it pack up 6 bags so far of condensed leaves we are very happy so far, even my wife has used it as the wheels on the nose reduces the weight. Maybe does not have all the fancy things other machines have but it has two settings suck or blow both work very well and do the job which is all we wanted and it does do what we want it to do with no fuss and saves alot of sweeping up dead leaves so if you want a work horse to do the job highly recommend this product so far and particulalry at the fantastic price compared to others on the market.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVonHaus Leaf Blower and Vacuum 3000W

    I recently purchased the VonHaus Leaf Blower and Vacuum 3000W, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance! The functionality is excellent, garden leaf litter clean up easy. It effectively sucks up leaves and mulches them nicely, which saves me a lot of cleanup time.

    The blower function is decent, though it could use a bit more power for larger areas. On the plus side, it’s incredibly easy to use, durable, sturdy and lightweight, which makes handling it less strenuous during longer tasks. Tip, better used when leaves are dry.

    One minor drawback is that the cable could be longer, as it limits how far I can move without needing an extension cord. However, considering the performance and features, this tool offers good value for money. I would recommend it for anyone looking to maintain their garden especially if leaf litter is a problem.

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSome of the reviews of this product suggest it doesn’t work well. Well they’re wrong, on vacuum setting, it picks leaves up efficiently while leaving behind heavier stuff like pebbles. When I first used it it didn’t seem to be picking up like I hoped but I realised the switch that toggles between vacuum and blow wasn’t fully engaged. Once the switch was ‘clicked’ into vacuum setting, it was great. A bit noisy but great. Perhaps this is where previous reviewers have also gone wrong.
    However, mine developed a fault. I was imagining having to buy another from a branded manufacturer but I messaged the seller and had a response within minutes offering me a new leaf blower. There was no quibbling and the new one arrived in a few days. You only really know how good a seller is when things go wrong. I must say their customer service was brilliant.

    Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersOK it takes a little assembly and it feels quite lightweight but please be assured that this is a tough item that is durable and should last.

    I was a little sceptical when I saw the price but having read the reviews I purchased it. We already have a petrol and a 48v rechargable blowers. Neither of which have a vacuum option and bag, however, both are quite heavy to use and I would suggest could be quite tiring to use after accumulating a few pounds of garden debris. We have a large garden and I can see us continuing to blow leaves with our existing blowers as they are powerful and of course we wont need to connect them to power. I think that this item will be useful to clear up those annoying leaves that are always left behind when you rake the leaves into a pile, for cleaning between shrubs and under hedges and for our patios. I would add that the blow function on this item generatedd by the 3000W motor is really good, it is just that without an extension cable or two in our case, the 10M cable isn’t long enough.

    Great item for the smaller garden up to say 400 SqM with adequate power, a great vacuum for dry leaves as it is light and overall simply a bargain at less than 45.00

    This works great at blowing away grass clippings and general garden green waste. I bought it to clear away grass clippings from stone edgings and works great. Not the best suction but for the price you can’t complain.

    I liked the ease of putting it together. The instructions were good. I like long lead because I can cover a large area before requiring an extension.
    The equipment is also super light making it much easier with my backpain. Certainly easier than using a broom.
    Not yet sure about the supporting strap to assist when the bag is full. I found that a bit too long for me and haven’t quite worked out how to shorten it enough for my height. Only used once so can’t comment on durability.

    Personally I’d like a tiny bit more power so suction is better. Then it would do small hedge sticks.
    However it’s light and great value for the money.
    Yes I would recommend

    Pretty decent leaf vacuum (I haven’t used it as a blower). Does the job as it should. Given 4 stars as opposed to my previous Hyundai model as, once assembled you can’t adjust the length of the nozzle.

    I was fortunate that my next door neighbour let me borrow his blower and I was impressed with its performance, and my wife used it with ease. I then ordered exactly the same model and it arrived really quickly.

    I received my device and it blew and sucked at the same time, I contacted customer service who immediately said they would send a replacement. Based on other reviews I am sure the replacement will be fine.

    Leaves accumulate in our garden even though we don’t have a tree and it became a hard work shovelling them up so just got this item and the suction is great and the bag is plenty big enough. The strap and wheels are helpful too

    In 20 years I’ve used 3 makes , the last being this one and it’s the best most powerful ever , picks up everything or blows totally away
    , but when the bag has been split by damage you can buy another , brilliant so strong

    There was an issue with the working of this item and a replacement was sent out the very next day – excellent customer service – I would highly recommend – thank you!
    I haven’t used this item yet but will leave a product review when I have done so.

    This Leaf Blower and Vacuum appears to be a good bit of kit but there are issues.
    First of all the name VonHaus gives the impression the product is German. In fact it appears none of it has ever been anywhere near Germany. It’s made in China for a company called DOMU Brands. Why they have to call it VonHaus is beyond me.

    The second issue is the instructions will probably result in people assembling it the wrong way. I followed them to the letter but realised something was wrong with the way the screws were going in. You have to lie the nozzle down on the opposite side to the diagrams and put the screws in from that side. Look carefully at the hole and you’ll see why. The recess for the screw is on the righthand side of the nozzle not the left. The hole is clearly designed for the screw to go in that way with maximum thread contact and for the head of the screw to be flush. If you put it in from the left hand side the end of the screw thread will be turning in thin air.

    The diagram for attaching the wheel assembly tells you to put them on back to front! There’s no way they’d fit properly if you follow the diagram.

    See pictures.
    Pic 1 – nozzle positioned as per diagram
    Pic 2 – Screw going in as per diagram -which is wrong
    Pic 3 – Nozzle laid down the correct side for assembly
    Pic 4 – Screwed recess clearly visible
    Pic 5&6 – Wheel assembly laid out as per diagram -which is wrong
    Pic 7 – Wheel assembly the correct way round for inserting screw
    Pic 8 – Wheel assembly in the direction it should go on

    However, don’t let this put you off buying the product. It works very well and sucked up all the leaves I’d raked out of my lawn along with the clumps of dead grass.
    It’s not quiet but neither is the average domestic indoor vacuum cleaner; the noise is a similar level.
    The bag has a good capacity as the leaves are shredded up as they go in, saving space in the bag.
    Unplug it before you try and empty the bag as the On/Off trigger is quite sensitive and its easy to accidentally switch on.

    So far it’s proving to be great value for money. Just a shame nobody checked the instructions before they were printed!

    4.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Manufacturer Name and misleading Assembly Instructions

    A well designed item and very efficient. It even picks up wet leaves as long as there are not too many at one time. It is light to hold although it does get progressively heavier as the bag gets filled up with shredded leaves, particularly if they are wet. Initially, the bag appears to be on the small side but it does take a lot of shredded leaves and a bigger bag would have made the leaf blower too heavy before the bag got full. As most of the leaves in my garden are either on the grass or gravelled surfaces, the wheels weren’t much help and I took them off. They would probably be more use on a hard surface. The vacuum feature was especially useful on gravel as it is the only effective way of picking up the leaves while leaving the gravel behind. It was easy to assemble once I had worked out to clip the bag onto the tube first before connecting the inlet collar to the main body of the item.
    The leaves are well shredded when they come out of the bag, making them ideal for composting.
    The biggest criticism is the noise which verges on the anti social. It would have had five stars otherwise.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have never used a Garden blower/vac before so I had no preconceptions prior to the arrival of mine. It arrived in a plain brown box which didn’t inspire confidence and when opening the box and extracting the parts, They seemed light and a little insubstacial . However assembly was simplicity itself, the nozzle came in two parts which clipped together easily then attached to the motor followed by locating and tightening one screw. Then a bracket holding two castors slid over the nozzle end and secured by locating and tightening another screw. Finally the clippings bag slid onto the back of the motor and clicked into place. Easy! In practise I was impressed by the product, I used it on lawn and 30mm chippings and it worked well, I didn’t find the product particularly heavy, however holding anything with your arm slightly raised will eventually tire your arm, but this product has a simple adaptable shoulder strap that makes work easy, plus the aforementioned castors on the nozzle end that can run along the ground taking all the weight for you. Suction seemed reasonable and, the internal blades chop the leaves brilliantly, I will stress I’ve only used it a couple of times, but so far I’m happy with it.

    Very good. I use it as a vacuum most of the time. Much lighter than my last electric one (petrol ones are even heavier), and a very good amount of suction. Really like the quick change to blow mode. I blow leaves into a pile and suck them all up much more easily. Decent length lead. Bag is plenty big enough and easy to remove. Two minor negatives, hence 4 stars. First the shoulder strap is a bit too long even on shortest adjustment.
    Also all models block up in vacuum mode, I’ve had about 5 different ones over the years. This one is a little fiddly to remove the suction spout(need to undo a screw) You will need quite a long screwdriver to get the muck out from round the impeller. Remember to unplug, as there is not a safety cut out when the suction section is removed. That said, this is one of the best I’ve had.

    Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis isn’t a bad product for the price. Easy to assemble. Works as it should. The leaves are blown easily and it’s pretty powerful. Sucking ride it works a treat. Any leaves are macerated into the bag. It’s easy to empty , looks like you need to be careful r we it’s the front buckle. Time will tell.
    We bought it to try pick up pine needles from the gravel / stones. They were wet but it picked some up. I’m certain once dry it will get them all. My main worry was sucking up the gravel. It does pick it up a bit but it’s not strong enough to suck into the bag which was great news. The stones are about the size of a thumbnail.
    The machine is a little cumbersome but it can be held easily the shoulder strap was pointless as were the wheels at the front.

    All in all a great product for the price.
