This pack of cards was amazing. Such a small box containing so many different games. There is a game for 1 called patience, a game for 2 called snap. You can have more players but it gets rather overwhelming. Then there are games for more players, although it’s possible to have too many players for some games. We took the cards on holiday and were pleased to see they work exactly same.
One con of all pros is that there is no set of instructions or rules. This makes it easy for people to make up rules as they go.
All in all, a fine purchase.

These cards are thin and fit easily into the beech card holders I bought recently – excellent for our Canasta games + I recommend them with complete confidence.

I guess you could if you are bored put one in the spokes of you bike with a clothes peg and pretend your push bike is a motorbike, But let’s be honest when you are 46 years old that a little bit socially unacceptable.
But yes I bought these to play a wealth of card game with my partner and also my daughter who likes playing snap mostly. I will be teaching the wife to play sxxthead.

Yes, there are better quality playing cards but for the money Waddingtons are ok if you play card games, if you’re into tricks you may better quality

Good playing cards. Sturdy too! My friend is a bodybuilder and tried to rip the whole deck of cards in half. These cards made him look quite the fool as he failed miserably.

My family and I have been buying this brand for many decades as they are the best quality playing cards. Any other brand is just false economy or a bad purchase, buy the best and have fun.
Correction of my first review regarding a different set of cards. This one is actually very good for the price. They both slide easily and feel good in your hands. Sturdiness seems good as well.

Most cards are a bit shy and don’t display their numbers for the first few days but these ones went straight to work!

These cards are a hit with the children as they have a rainbow effect pattern , strong as one would expect from waddingtons
ot sure what sheerness means. good price and nothing to complain about. my babies have ruined them already so theyre not super strong but not gonna mark them down for not holding up to being chewed. kids are playing with them a lot. a good while everyday. and the ones not chewed on are still looking good.

Excellent cards, which deal nicely and have good clear faces. Downside is the packaging which was very difficult to undo. Ended up ripping the boxes apart as just could not get them open without doing so. I understand the need for tamper-proof packing for the serious players, but for mere mortals its nice to keep the cards in their box rather than held together with a rubber band!
Like the cards but they are slightly smaller than previous cards we have. Packet tight so have to leave jokers out to get cards back in.

As a left handed person, i always struggle playing card games as the character is on the wrong side of the card. Thankfully this wonderful pack of card have the characters in all 4 corners so it brilliant.

They cards were purchased for a hospital visit however have been used on and off weekly over a 6 month period.
The cards have lasted well and even seem to be 7 year old proof.

Exactly what I was after for playing solitaire and keeping away from a screen.
I usually hate buying new cards because it takes an age to get them to separate and shuffle well. These arrive like a pack of firm favourites right from the outset. They slide and shuffle brilliantly and to be honest I’m baffled at the price. You get two packs of brilliant quality cards for a few pounds. Well worth it! We’ve played with these every day since I bought them and they wear well too.
This is the second set of these I’ve had, and both have been excellent quality. This is in serious contrast to many sets of cards you get, for example the one that came with the chips I got, which were so flimsy. Waddington’s just make cards as you would want them to be, nice and long-lasting and for a few quid excellent value. Very highly recommended from me.
Haven’t found anything to complain about. Seeing many reviews saying they wear off or degrade quickly, I’m not seeing any of this on my cards and they’ve really been getting used a lot since they came. No complaints.
The cards are genuine as you can see from the pictures, they are sealed and have all information that prove genuineness.
The cards quality is super decent, and they smell very nice. I probably spent 5 minutes smelling them when unpacking.
Every pack comes with an extra card explaining Bridge rules and scoring, which I found very considerate.

Can’t go wrong with these. The finishing and the quality of these cards is top class. We have been playing with these for the past few months and they are still almost new like in condition. Highly recommend them!!
What can I say. Standard playing cards, comes fast, great value for money.
I bought these cards just to go in my bag for when we went away and then we had something to do. They turned out to be the best thing. The cards were very well packaged and were not flimsy. And it also helped stave the boredom on a rainy holiday.
This is the best Waddingtons ‘1’ deck by a country mile. They are a slightly larger size than standard ‘1’ decks, in line with the 808 poker size of USPCC bikes. The card stock is also similar to USPCCs air cushion finish, but the cards are slightly more rigid and have slightly less glide. Very nice gilded tuck box.

I wanted a basic pack of playing cards which were not in any shops. Good value for the money and delivered on time.
Ive had these cards now for a few months and use them now and again for card games. They look and feel nice but after a few months of use and shuffling the corners are starting to give and peel away. Probably normal.

These came fast, unopened and unused, as we may expect.
Unlike many other commodities over the years, these have not gone down in quality. Had a deck of cards from 20-odd years ago with the price tag on – 2.99! So at under half that price and including delivery this is a massive bargain.
They’re still as good as I remember. They don’t stick together and have numbers in 4 corners. They’ve been durable so far too.
No complaints whatsoever they’re doing the job. I wish I hadn’t bought the cheap version really so I guess the saying you ‘buy cheap buy twice’ is true.
Bought these directly from Amazon. Pack came with the hologram seal. These cards are of excellent quality. The cardstock is just right – not too flexible, not to stiff, producing that nice “snapping” sound on the table while maintaining the cards intact after a riffle shuffle. The linen finish is excellent, and it doesn’t seem to be of the kind that gets sticky after a few plays. I wish the numbers were larger and bolder though.

Good quality cards. I need to order more as teaching my daughter magic tricks and will be getting them from here. Each is coated with plastic and so they stay rigid after prolonged use.
What makes them really useful (especially for tricks) is that the cards return to being flat after being bent for shuffling or for any other reason. Also the edges do not fray so the cards stay crisp and fresh looking for longer.
The one thing you have to remember (that I did not notice) is that THE COLOUR MAY VARY!! It says it in the title but I was stupid enough to read straight over it. I got a blue back which was not the colour I thought I was going to get but I don’t care too much. It doesn’t make any difference to me. If it does to you…well I’d get another pack or just get it from a shop.
Finally, I have to say THE PRICE IS AMAZING! Great value and it will last you for a long time whether you’re going to use them for tricks or games. Enjoy!
