Children love it! Right size for our garden, having seats is great for them to sit and play. I like that we can close it in the evenings so we don’t have cats or other animals coming and using it.
So easy to assemble, really sturdy and a great size, my girls are loving it. We used 4 15kg bags of sand and it’s a good amount, maybe one more would be perfect.
Finally got around to building it, was fairly straight forward. The wood was warped a bit, but went carefully. I trimmed the fabric mat and used a staple gun to secure it retain the sand. I used 2x20kg bags of sand to fill. Overall I think the quality is questionable, the lid won’t stop the rain but will keep the local cats away (hopefully), but most importantly the boy is happy!
Took my partner and I about 30 minutes to assemble using an electric screwdriver, instructions could be a little clearer but overall it was fairly simple, This is a good sandpit and I would recommend to others, my 4 children aged between 2 and 8 years love i
Good solid sandpit, but you have to know what you are doing as it comes as a box of planks…
Grandchildren have had hours of fun. Especially when they’re having ‘playing on the beach’ withdrawal symptoms. Excellent. Thank you. Delivered in plenty of time. Well constructed.
My opinion is really not relevant – my grand-daughter aged 18 months won’t let me near it, and just loves her new office. The lid keeps the cats off, and obviously it’s not waterproof. I was glad of the electric screwdriver. The peace and quiet engendered by the sandpit is certainly worth it – I can read the paper, she throws all the sand out onto the patio, and later I just brush the sand between the patio tiles – result.
