I have to admit that I was a little hesitant when I ordered this ‘2 in 1’ exercise bike, as it promised a lot and was very reasonably priced. It arrived earlier than expected, and was very easy for my husband to assemble.
It certainly delivers everything it promised! An excellent and effective way to enjoy exercising.
The customer service is also good, as they replied to a general question I emailed them about, on the same day, which also happened to be a Sunday!
I would definitely recommend this – you will not be disappointed.
We bought this item to help exercise arthritic knees and hips.
It appeared relatively easy to assemble until we got to attaching the saddle to the saddle stem the bolts did not match up with the stem which did not allow us to use the bike. On contacting the seller they sent out a new stem which arrived a few days later thus allowing us to fully assemble the bike.
However once assembled it has everything you would want to be included. It’s very stable even when in the recumbent position. There are rollers on one foot plate which allows you to move the bike from one area to another with ease. Would I purchase this item again Yes.
I tried the Ultrasport F bike and had to send it back because it was flimsy and the pedal fell off. I bought this instead and love it! It’s a comparable price and the resistance levels feel much higher than the Ultrasport. I’ve had no problems with the pedals and love that it’s a 2 in 1. I would recommend this over the Ultrasport if you want higher resistance.
Very pleased with the bike. Found the resistance bands and rear handlebar a useful addition.
To date cannot fault anything.
At 79, it is helping to build up my thigh muscles following surgery
Easy assembly for me. Cycling and stretch bands make it effective with low use too. Bad knee limits me to short sessions but still losing weight. Brilliant! Very pleased
Really good quality exercise bike, which feels sturdy and good range of resistance and great to have the exercise bands too.
I had a slight issue with the backrest and a bolt, but replacement parts were sent, very good customer service which resolved the issue quickly. Strong recommend for an exercise bike, without breaking the bank
since suffering a stroke last year i had terrible fatigue so getting up and doing anything has been a struggle…this product seemed to tick ‘all the boxes’ so that decided my choice, not to bulky, easy to fold up, not too heavy.
tools are provided for the nuts and bolts, putting it together began with ‘i’ll never do this’ but turned out fairly easy so first job done…next was finding a comfortable position which suited myself (5′ 11″) and my partner (5′ 2″) which was easier than expected, take note as one pedal has to screwed anti-clockwise.
set it to minimum for a few goes and took a slow peddle, no real effort needed of course but it got some muscles moving, now moving it towards the ‘hardest’ setting slowly and getting my speed up, this could take a while.
this is a nice, easy excercise to get started, as the weather improves i will be mixing it with some walking…i do not expect to end up with ‘rippling thighs’ but for what it will do it is well worth the price, the arm bands offer some resistance and add a little bit more to the ‘work out’.
Wife loves it,likes the back support/rest.on it .the exercise bands great bonus .good control panel and smooth running with adjustable resistance. Bought for wife but both use it .very good for price
I like this product. It has been well designed and assembled with ease. The resistance on the pedals can be increased. If it is too easy just pedal quicker. This would be more advantageous for someone wanting to improve aerobic performance. If you’re looking for muscle training there is hope. Just below the steering handles are two more handles, these are resistance ropes and they can really tax your arms after a while. It’s also very sturdy. All in all a great value very effective health giving machine.
Product was easy to assemble but heavy and difficult to move about. After moderate use over a few months the crank arm has become loose and impossible to tighten so the peda arm falls off in a few rotations. No support available from Yyfitt after several contact attempts, so no repair or replacement option. A cheap and cheerful item but don’t expect it to last!!!
I like the ease of the control panel, very sturdy
The only issue was when assembling the machine was attaching the handle bars to the frame: the plastic surround looked to have a moulding fault and was far too close to a fixing bar. Consequently only three out of the four bolts could be fitted and tightened up – not a large problem as it is useable and the handle bars are rigid in use.
Bought for my husband who has been using this everyday and has noticed improvements to his fitness.
I find this exercise bike has really helped my overall health. It’s so easy to set up and use. Cycle away at your own pace and build up slowly. I use it every day and highly recommend it.
Love this bike! I have used several different types in various gyms and was worried if it would be sturdy enough. It is! Lovely solid frame and good weight. Particularly like the two seat settings to work all muscles and the arm pulls. It takes about 30 mins to assemble buy the explainer video is helpful. Nice display and a lip/ledge for laptop and phone so I can work whilst I work out. Highly recommend.
This little bike has been great for me and my wife. For me it is a fat buster especially with the arm pulls. My wife uses the low friction setting to help with the pain in her knee due to arthritis. Glad I purchased it.
Great piece of equipment well made, very sturdy. No complaints at all. Displays speed distance calories burned easy to use panel and heart rate. Took about an hour to assemble. I’m partially sighted so need help.
here is not much to dislike about thisbike.easy to use .sits in the corner without looking ugly.all in all it is a pretty good purchase.
Only used a couple of times yet but easy to use, adjusting resistance easy and screen easy to follow.
I purchased this exercise bike after reading the reviews and was reassured that it would be suitable for my 5ft 2″ stature. It arrived, no problem and I put it together with the help of the excellent youtube video provided. The screw in seat location control and the knob that closes the machine/converts are fiddly and hard to locate into the holes provided and have to be unscrewed and removed altogether to move the mechanisms. Once constructed the machine is sturdy. My first try was a disaster. I managed to get on the bike on it’s lowest setting, but I couldn’t get off without the help of my husband and the nearby sofa onto which I literally threw myself. The 2nd time I mounted and dismounted the bike with the help of a small sturdy footstall which I then have to manoeuvre out of the way of the pedals. When the seat is at it’s lowest setting, the seat handle bars come above the seat itself, which makes it uncomfortable as you peddle, I’ll have to remove them.
Moral of the story, if you live on your own and under 5ft 6″, don’t purchase this exercise bike.
We purchased this fold away bike as novice cyclists, to strenghten leg muscles as opposed to riding miles. It took 2 of us around 20 minutes to assemble. The tools provided were adequate, but not brilliant. However, we have plenty of tools so this was not a problem for us. It is extremely quiet and could be used quite easily whilst someone is watching TV without disturbing them. The rowing action is a bonus which can be done whilst reclining in the seat, which is very comfortable with a back support. My husband is 6 feet tall and I am 5’9″ and the bike is a perfect size for us. It folds away easily and takes up just a little more space than an upright vacuum cleaner. As a relatively inexpensive bike, it is perfect and very good value for money. Would recommend to others.
Nothing to dislike. Bike looks and feels very safe. Good value for money. Would recommend.
Its a good bike for some one who is just starting out &the price is low for a beginner as a starter bike u can always buy a more advance one in the future once u know u will use it ¬ just put it in cupboard & forget about it.
Really pleased with the bike, sturdy, makes very little noise, easy to ratchet up or down on power settings
Brought this for my daughter 25, she needs to keep fit for an operation soon.
Took 45 minutes to assemble, however I did go on YouTube…it was easy.
Feels heavy and well built, however it’s still easy to fold and move around if needed..
We was really pleased, and glad I ordered it..

Easy to manouver, easy to get on and not tiring on the legs
So much better than the last one we had.
Jump on and start your workout.
The recumbent position is very good for stomach and so many levels of tension make for a great all round workout!
The display is easy to read, nice and big numbers.
I would highly recommend this machine to anyone.

Better than expected box a bit battered but was well covered in side. Spanners could have been a bit small to get a better grip but that may just be me. smooth ride go for it girls get that body and abb to die for well I can live in hope lol
With this bike I won’t miss going to the gym and is the build is so strong like a commercial ones. Been on it since I got it almost everyday with so many options of exercise to choose. So glad I purchased this.
Myself and my daughter brought this exercise bike between us. We love it and it’s very quiet. The only down side is the seat is a bit uncomfortable after 30 mins training. Going to see if we can but a gel seat cover to go over the top. I would recommend this and great value for money as you get two in one with the pull cords to do your arm work outs as well.
At the outset it must be said that this exercise bike is not for someone who wants a strenuous workout as the resistance levels are gentle to moderate. However, I purchased this bike for my wife who is recovering from a total knee replacement and it is ideal to help her during this period of inactivity. We are both senior citizens and I also find it useful to maintain my all round mobility.
Patience is required for the assembly and adhering to the instructions will help avoid problems, for instance, the left pedal is attached to the crank arm by turning it anticlockwise as it is a right hand thread.
In use we both find the upright seating position comfortable and it has a generously proportioned seat. The backrest is also a good size and a useful support for the semi-prone position.
Folding the bike is easy if you take the weight off the rear whilst adjusting with the ‘Fasten Knob’. We have not used the computer readout as yet but all seems to be working OK.
This is not the cheapest exercise bike on the market but I believe it represents good value for the price.

I got it for Christmas present and love it. I can exercise whenever I want and can!!! It was easy to assemble and it’s steady!!!
2 locking nuts and washers missing from the seat. Used for exercise.
I purchased this bike to continue to exercise through the winter days when walking 15000 steps per day would not always be possible due to the weather. Early signs are good – the choice was made very carefully after researching literally dozens of machines, including many much more expensive offerings. I am very happy with this purchase so far. Too early to say how robust this will be in the long term.
The bike was damaged in transit, one of the supports that the handle bar attaches too had a dent in it. This was not life threatening and my wife and I managed to assemble the bike. We needed three sessions after breaks to do it. The instructions are limited but plenty of support is on YouTube, I recommend watching a video before you start, we didn’t. I have to say we are very happy with the bike, it’s very sturdy and easy to use. Do not buy the recommended padded saddle suggested by Amazon it too small. The supplier of this item kindly gave me a refund. The recommended rubber mat is great. Folding and altering the bike too position 2 takes a bit of getting used too. Overall am very happy with this high quality product at what I thought was a very good price

The bike was fairly easy to assemble, all tools are provided in the box. The packaging was done with precision, parts are well protected. The assembling instructions are easy to follow and accurate. The panel feels a bit cheap plastic, but for the price is not unexpected, it delivers anyway. The seat is not uncomfortable, quite wide, good for bigger users as well. I am small 160cm I can use it on the middle height, it is usable for short persons as well. The resistance scale is not a challenge with normal fitness, highest setting feels like uphill on a good quality road. It is suitable for rehabilitation and starting to get fit, as it is not that difficult to use you will not feel it as a burden to use it on a regular basis. For an obese person the low stance and sitting back may be a good start too. Overall it is good price for value, if you are fitter or you do spinning, it is not for you, it will be too easy.

Any self-assembly job is fiddly, and a couple of the bolts proved tricky when avoiding a cross-thread. If I could, I’d give it 4.5 stars but it seems picky to remove 20% of the score for a bit of fiddliness. And the saddle is rather unforgiving: we got a gel saddle to use and that is much better. And now we can grab a bike ride at no notice – even just a quick 5 minutes between meetings helps lift the metabolism and stave off desk-dozing! I’d never have gone out on the road bike for 5 minutes so I feel I’m fitter already.
A very good bike for a cheaper option. Comfortable, with a lot of ability to change position for best posture and comfort. Can get a little stuck when folding up and down, as joints can be a little stiff, but it’s a very minor issue. Assembley was pretty easy, instructions provided good guidance to put together and get cycling!
The reason for buying was folding which I find great to stand it in the corner If you wanted to put it under the bed check for how much clearance you would need I have been using this for about 6 months now Thought I would give it a good try out before leaving a review It was easy to assemble I did it by myself in about 20 minutes This is not a high end bike to start doing pelaton but for the people who just want some good exercise at home it is just the ticket I find it sturdy easy to use and with the different tensions on it I can get a decent workou
Very surprised how sturdy the whole thing was …. the adjustable saddle is very handy.
I have foot drop but have been able to use it easily ….. considering its cheap cost compared to other models it is a high quality product …. very pleased with it .
This was easy to assemble with clear instructions. I would, however, suggest that you use a 13m ring spanner instead of the small spanner supplied. This was awkward to use and not very firm. Otherwise I am very pleased with the product and was surprised by the speed of delivery. I have had to change my exerciser after using another device as at 77 years old I now have arthritis in my shoulders but still want to retain my lower body fitness. If asked I would definitely recommend this unit as a good machine and at a reasonable price. This is a genuine review from a satisfied customer. 4 days from ordering to using.
Great if your looking for light exercise! The bike its self is good, easy to build and so quiet.
I have enjoyed using this bike, mainly for fairly light exercise while watching TV or while listening to meetings while working from home. But I will say its quite hard to get your heart rate that high using this bike.
I know its not a spin bike, but I think I was hoping to be able to use it more like a spin bike, you can’t stand while on the bike to do sprints, it feels too unstable and the resistance isn’t really strong enough while standing.
I’ve realised I actually get a better work out in terms of calories burnt and time spent in cardio zones from a fast walk in the same amount of time. So essentially, the bike is great if your looking for easy going workout while your doing other things but if your looking for a more intense workout you may want to consider getting a spin bike instead.

This is a great home exercise bike for people of average height. I would avoid buying if like me you have a long leg – mine is a 34 inch inside leg and I’m 5 feet 11 inches tall. The seat height cannot be adjusted to be high enough.
It does fold and is easy to store.
Everything about this static bike is exemplary, it was easy for just myself to set up from the packaging and the bike feels sturdy enough for me (6″ and ~105kg).
However, the maximum resistance is hardly enough to break a sweat even after 10-15 minutes. As an avid summer cyclist, this is not doing very much at all for me trying to burn calories at home which was the sole purpose of me buying the thing. For someone just looking to do a bit of very light exercise a few times a week this would be fine, but not for someone that is into their fitness.
The hardware pack diagram shows an Allen Wrench (or key) but it was NOT included. This is a fundemental requirement when assembling the bike. Fortunately I already have a set, otherwise would have had to buy a set. Pretty much all the assembly requires the Allen Wrench. With an Allen Wrench it’s fairly straightforward to assemble. I did call upon an extra pair of hands at one point but probably could have managed alone.
When using the Fasten Knob, loosen slightly, then pull. Loosen too much and it falls out.
The spec states miles/H but the display shows Kmh. Also, states 2xAA batteries but it actually requires 2XAAA. The ones supplied didn’t last very long. I’ve installed new ones. See how long they last.
I would say it’s advisable to check nut/bolts etc. regularly.
The delivery date was ‘flexible’. It arrived on time after the delivery date had been changed a couple of times. There was initially a tracking option but that disappeared as the delivery date approached, so there was no way of knowing where or when it would arrive. I did contact them when the delivery date arrived and no bike but then it miraculously arrived later in the day.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the bike. I’m a 69yr old man and it suits fine.

A strong well made product, I found the assembly instructions very easy to follow, all put together in an hour or so.
I am your average 79 year old man who requires light exercise and this bike does exactly that, it is not a pressure machine as the tension is not heavy and with the settings at 50% it is an easy ride on a flat surface (exercise), when using the top setting the tension is tighter, but not to heavy. Having read other comments concerning this product several have remarkable on the comfortable seat which is true, but my preference would be for narrower Cyclist style seat, as for the addition of the Resistance bands it’s a nice idea and the Tablet holder is an essential.
Conclusion: nice exercise without the tears
I put this bike together in about an hour (it’s easier if someone can help you). The instructions were pretty clear and easy to understand. The monitor arrived with scratches and slightly cracked casing on the back, and the packaging was damaged, but it still works OK and because it is not an integral part of the bike and bolts on separately I’m sure if problems appeared the seller would be happy to swap over the monitor for another one.
The bike is quite heavy and is not easy to fold/unfold (a scissor action) as a knob has to be turned to loosen it and then removed. Getting it back in again is like trying to undo a childproof lid on a bottle of tablets in that you have to push and turn at the same time. That, plus the weight meant I decided against folding it away as I’d originally intended, and I now have it set up in one place permanently.
The height of the seat can be adjusted by loosening a similar knob and then removing it, sliding the bar up or down and then replacing the knob.
Surprisingly, there isn’t a photo of the bike on the cover of the handbook, or any mention of the features as they are advertised on the Amazon product page. It would be useful if these were included in the handbook, together with some basic recumbent bike exercises (or even a link to a video) as well as the general warming up and cooling down exercises that are already included at the back of the handbook.
Because the ‘resistance’ knob is positioned just under the resistance bands, and says ‘Tension’ on it (not as the photo on the product page), it could lead you to think that the ‘Tension’ relates to the resistance bands, but it does not, it relates to the tension of the front wheel when pedalling.
Once put together, the bike was sturdy, not wobbly, and very quiet in use, and the seat and back rest were quite comfortable for the half hour exercise session I did on it (I found a couple of free ‘recumbent bike with resistance bands workout’ videos online). The back of the seat height is adjustable (2 positions, higher or lower) but it does involve 4 screws and an allen key to move the height so it’s not really something to be adjusted each time someone else uses it.
I could watch a workout video by propping my laptop on the handy shelf on the bottom of the monitor. However, it did cover up the monitor and some of the handlebars and sensors. A tablet would be better if you have one.
All in all though I’m quite pleased with it and am looking forward to using it regularly.

My wife and I are very impressed with the standard of build of this exercise bike. Neither of us is an “exercise nut” (sorry, unsure how to express the fact that we would both prefer to be out walking in the fresh air than sitting on a bike in our small study – hence the lack of a picture!)
It came well packed and was relatively easy to assemble by myself with out any other aid; the spanner provided was not the most comfortable with which to work, but the instructions were easy to follow.
The seat and backrest are reasonably comfortable, but the height adjuster takes quite a lot of screwing in/out, as does the folding mechanism.
As a non-afionado, I would recommend this exercise bike.
Despite the item arriving late, with no apologies or communication from the seller, I did manage to put it together from the very easy instruction booklet that came with it. Getting on and off is not so easy, but when on the seat is very comfortable and the pedals are sturdy and easy to grip. The read out on the screen is useful to see how far you have pedalled, speed, pulse rate and calories burned!
I decided that I needed an exercise bike after a significant leg injury left me with muscle wastage plus a back problem possibly linked to the leg issue. The bike took a while to arrive but I was advised as to when it would be in stock. Obviously with my back problem I was careful in unpacking it but decided that I would press on and build it on my own. I read the clear instructions first then carefully followed them and had no problems at all. There was a minor problem with the back rest which had a damaged cover but an email to customer support solved it and a replacement arrived very quickly. I have to say that Ben was very helpful.
The bike is comfortable and easy to use – I don’t fold it at present so can’t really comment on that aspect/feature. Even after a few days use I have found some easing of my back and have found the resistance bands very useful too.
For my needs it is a great product and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
It goes together fairly easily and the tools that come with it are just about adequate. You’ll need both spanners supplied to put the pedals on, don’t forget one pedal has a reverse thread! A small adjustable spanner would be better to use for most of the nuts some of which are nylock type and take some effort to screw into place. The build quality is good in some places and mediocre in others. On ours the backrest facing had a small hole caused by something it was packed with and I contacted the agent who sent a replacement next day. Great service.
The back floor bar has small wheels inset to roll it when moving it but are really only useful on a hard floor, on carpet the bar drags.
We put some Vaseline on the saddle down tube to help it slide in and out when adjusting the height or when folding the bike.
It has elastic arm exercise cords which are useful ( I hope spare cords are available for when they fail) otherwise it’s similar to many exercise bikes with adjustable magnetic braking.
Easy to assemble, but a video is available
Its a good sturdy exersise bike,I particularly like the attached pull bunji cables you can exersise your arms and shoulders as well .
The seat is a little hard tho and an alternative gel replacement seat or gel cover would make this exersise bike a 10 out of 10 item
as it is tho , its definitely a recommended purchase 8/10 .
I am 68 yrs old . I bought this bike as recommended by my physio guy as I have had knee replacement 3 years ago and hip 4 months ago. I have not been able to excersise as much as I should re covid and weather. So pleased with this bike as it has a sturdy back rest which is good for me as osteoarthritis in lower back, so enables me to support back by holding the side bars . I only use on number4 for now and started at 5 mins two weeks ago which physio recommended. I am now up to 20 mins and knees and hip have lot more movement . I tend not to look at the clock and I read my kindle as fits in the screen space provided. Also I couldn’t understand the settings so contacted the seller who responded quickly and helped me out . My husband also decided to start using it as well .
This bike is fabulous. It arrived today and I put it together myself (I’m 74 )
It came incredibly well packed in perfect condition, great instructions, easy to assemble.
There’s a place for me to put my iPad so I can cycle anywhere I like in the world.
A great bike and great value. So thank you very much.
I’m a heavy 50 year old woman and my partner put this together “quite easily” on his own. I’ve not wanted to fold it up yet so cannot comment on that, but I imagine I’ll leave it out as it fits easily in the corner of my living room, and having it out I’m more likely to use it regularly. I find it comfortable (for a bike) and good range of resistance, and the arm pull things are good too, and convenient. Really glad I bought this! It’s about time I did some exercise and this is a convenient way.
Ordered on 8th Jan, told it would be delivered by 7-9th Feb. Was delighted when it turned up early on Thursday 28th Jan. It was straightforward to put together, easy to follow instructions/Video as not that many pieces. It did take two of us to assemble it because of holding and securing the nuts and bolts, it is made of solid materials. I will agree that we needed to use our spanner for a couple of parts as the one provided did not grip all the nuts properly but that was no problem. Now it is done I have a strong and sturdy bike, much better than friends ‘flimsy’ ones and the seat is very comfortable. I really like the decent sized seat and the back support, which I do need. A good monitor which I just need to work out how to use as there are no instructions for that and this is my first home bike as the spin cycle bikes in our gym are too much for my joints. Have just done first session, was very quiet, very comfortable, very sturdy and felt safe on it. I can now say that I am extremely happy with this purchase, a very good quality bike for a very reasonable price. Recommended.
This is gentle exercise, but you can up the ‘work’ greatly by using the arm puller things as you pedal – surprising the difference that this makes. It may not be challenging enough for really fit people, but for folks like me that just want a bit of excercise without going out in the cold, this is perfect. I have tried it in both of it’s forms, and the more upright configuration is definitely the best – you can still lie back against the backrest enough to get a change of position if you want. I did find the wide saddle a bit uncomfortable at first, but we have adapted to each other and it feels fine now! I do half an hour most days, listening to my audiobook, and do feel that it is doing me some good.
I’m 5ft2 (5ft 3 on a good day, ha) and this bike is great when used normally. I’m shielding so I had to shift my exercise to home and I thought I’d try just absentmindedly cycling while watching shows. I watched l both seasons of The Mandalorian on this thing and I focused on the show rather than getting distracted by my phone, and it’s been good making sure my legs don’t go to nothing while I’m stuck indoors.
But as a recumbent, not great. The backrest is a little too far back, and because it’s just the normal bike leaning backwards, the seat tilts upwards a bit, rather than being flat and pointing more towards the pedals like ones I used in the gym. If I sit properly in the seat as a recumbent bike, I can’t cycle properly as the seat gets in the way of my legs, which need to stretch further already as a shorter person. Instead I have to perch, thus if i lean on the backrest my back isn’t supported from the bottom. A cushion helps.
Otherwise great. I like how it keeps track of your session, and you just need to hold the button to refresh it for you next one, so you can leave it if you’re building up to a grand total. It’s not linking up to your apps or anything, but it’s pretty decent for the price! And the resistance bands are great.
The bike’s cycling resistance doesn’t do much until you hit lvl 7, but still goes to a pretty decent level.
Although I did have one missing bolt for 2 months because the box was a little battered – bolts are loosely put on the screws in the box, and can wiggle off. Fortunately for me it fell out in my corridor rather than the delivery fan, and I eventually found it. Just put them together in another little box, please, manufacturers.
This is a great exercise bike for the money. If you’re expecting a gym spec bike, then it’s not for you. It was fairly easy to assemble, it’s reasonably sturdy – my husband and I are both overweight and have no issues with it at all. Some reviews mentioned a knocking noise – hasn’t happened to with our bike, it’s perfect. The backrest is ok for my husband but not so much for me, as I’m considerably shorter than he is. Because of our height difference, my husband needs to raise the saddle when he uses it, and lower it again for me to use. No hardship, that’s easy to do. Neither of us are madly into exercise so the resistance levels work well for us, as do the resistance bands for my husband. I love the rest on the front for my i-Pad which means I can exercise and listen to music. If I do that, I can’t then see how fast I’m pedalling or how long it’s taken me, so I set a timer on the i-Pad. The only negative for me is that I bought this particular bike because the description said it folds away – and that is true, it does, but it’s very heavy to fold so I haven’t bothered. All in all, very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it for those of you who are exercise beginners or at intermediate level – but not for the gym bunnies!
Perfect for us… we just wanted a machine that would keep us active, be sturdy enough to withstand a basic exercise regime, yet be compact enough to fold away into a small space, and this product delivers on all those criteria. No problem with assembly (though it helps if there are two of you) and overall I’m impressed by the build quality. The readouts are good (time, distance, speed, pulse rate and calories burned, as well as an odometer) and the addition of the resistance bands is a great feature. Maybe not challenging enough for a dedicated gym-goer or fitness fanatic, but just right for us!
I wrote a review just after purchasing this bike in which I sang it’s praises. I still feel that way, it’s the best purchase I have made for a long time. Unfortunately just after publishing the review the bike started to make a very loud noise which made it awful to use. I contacted the seller who replied very quickly and a new bike was sent immediately. I am now peddling at full speed again.
Having had the 2 in 1 bike for 3 weeks we are pretty impressed. We both use it for 20 minutes each day and already feel noticeably better for the exercise. The rear handlebars, backrest, resistance bands and phone / tablet holder are all useful features not present on all exercise bikes plus the bike feels strong and stable and the resistance level changes are noticeable and sufficient for our needs although perhaps not for the seriously fit.
Minor niggles are:
1) Assembly (especially the backrest and stabilizers) is definitely easier if there are 2 of you.
2) Once assembled, moving the seat up or down requires a lot of force. Fortunately, we are both happy with the same position but this might be an issue for those who need to move the seat up / down regularly for different users.
3) You do need to be careful when folding / unfolding the bike. Very easy to trap a finger in the frame if you hold the frame in the wrong place. I speak from experience.
4) Need to check the nuts on the pedals and rear handlebars in particular are tight every few days as they both seem to become looser with heavy useage.
But the main issue for us is that we would prefer to keep it folded up in the hall or the cupboard under the stairs when not in use. But getting the bike from the folded up position to the upright position is not easy. The 2 in 1 bike automatically opens out to the semi reclining position. To get it to the upright position you have to push the rear of the bike forwards to the upright position with one hand while simultaneously trying to insert the locking pin into a hole in the frame that you cannot see because the frame gets in the way. We rapidly concluded that life was too short to spend a few minutes twice a day doing this with the permanent risk of damaging a finger if you hold the bike in the wrong place and it suddenly collapses on you. For this reason, with 20:20 hindsight we would definitely have bought the less expensive upright model rather than the 2 in 1 for this reason. I guess the key point is only buy the 2 in 1 if somebody using the bike will want to exercise in the semi reclining position. If this doesn’t apply then buy the cheaper upright model.

Relatively easy to assemble. It took me two quiet hours, taking my time at a relaxed pace. I mounted it in my own.
In terms of fit: I’m quite small (1.60m per 53 kg) and it works well for me. Not very comfy as the seat leans slight in a diagonal position (not adjustable a part from height). I have to put a pillow behind me to make it more comfy.
In terms of goodness as a sport equipment, cannot say much as I am not a sporty person. I bought it to stay active for my arthritis. So good for the purpose.
Second day of usage and good so far. Will update this review in a month time
Very easy to put together if you follow the instructions correctly. The tools provided were adequate for the purpose. Took approximately 1 hour to put the bike together. The set up was easy and easy to adjust for height etc. The bike is sturdy and quiet to use. So if you are on shifts and want to exercise during the night or when watching the tv it will not disturb any one else. The range of tension is very good. It covers speed, distance, heart rate, time calories and overall distance the bike has travelled. You just hold the large button to clear the memory and click through each of the options to select where you want to stop or let it pulse and it will go through each option. Very pleased with the delivery, easy of set up and quality. The seat is very comfortable and can be easily adjusted. Thoroughly recommend and you won’t be disappointed. It’s great if you face it so you look out the window so it looks like you are cycling in the outdoors.
I purchased this exercise bike in order to take part in a charity fund raiser. I was impressed by the speedy delivery and it was easy to assemble. Now every day I pedal 20+ miles on it. No hiccups yet and I started on 1st September.
We finish our ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ challenge on 19th November with the team completing 29,000 miles.
Good job the saddle is comfortable.
Initially the monitor did not work, but Chen Ben at Pleny Customer Support, immediately sent a replacement. The bike is easy to erect and move about and is attractive to look at. It is therefore not out of place in a living room, which is where we keep ours. The bike was bought for my wife who has breathing problems, as a result of asthma. She finds that half an hour cycling each day has been sufficient exercise for her to see a marked improvement.
As an elderly couple with arthritic problems, we thought an exercise bike would be beneficial. After reading reviews and specification of many such bikes, we chose the Pleny Fitness Exercise bike, and are very pleased with our choice. It arrived very promptly & my husband had no problem assembling it. It is a pleasure to use, especially as the backrest makes it a comfortable experience.
I use it for 30 minutes a day, in 3 bursts of 10 minutes, whereas my husband uses it for longer sessions. We both feel that this regular exercise is beneficial.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Pleny exercise bike.
Had issues with the wrench supplied. One worked well the other not fit for purpose. Fortunately I had another wrench (right size) which worked. Some of the bolts required the use of an Allen key. I have an abundance of Allen keys which did the job. This should have been supplied! Would not have been impressed if I did not have this to hand!!
As far as the unit itself is concerned I have been getting a lot of use out of it. Quite heavy to lift to store away though. Fingers crossed I will continue to get good use out of it!!
I am so thrilled I bought this piece. After another seller took my money but didn’t deliver a similar product costing double the price, I saw this and was a bit suspect about buying it but finally gave in and bought the piece, praying not to have a rerun and hopping the product is at least fairly good as the price was so cheap compared to everything else available.
What an absolute surprise!!!!!!!!!! It arrived about 5 days early which was great. The assembly was somewhat challenging as the marking in the Manuel were not in the pieces but once it was done in 20 minutes it had been brilliant. we are 2 of us using it every day for an hour and we aren’t slim. It is silent and looks so professional. Cannot fault this at all.
I am a 5″3 woman weighing 120lbs and with a good to high fitness/activity level (can run 15-20kms, regularly exercise) and can get a good workout out of this bike.
The resistance level is also adequate: I exercise with the resistance at 13, and on this bike it goes up to 16. That may not be challenging enough for very keen cyclists who might regularly be pedalling uphill. I’d estimate the ’13’ resistance at what might be 8-10 at the gym, if that helps anyone.
In conclusion, definitely suitable as a low-cost weight loss solution, although not a substitute for serious cyclists in training. I recommend it and it’s sturdier than I expected; also very quiet – I can use it at night without disturbing housemates, even though my walls are very thin.
Final note – the pictures around the screen (such as time, distance, etc) are NOT buttons. The screen shows you your pace, distance, time etc one after the other but you can’t press the picture (what I thought was a button) to immediately see your time, for example. It cycles through all the features about once every 30 seconds so if you are really counting the seconds alongside your distance, be aware that you won’t be able to do this very accurately.
Bought it for my wife and she is over the moon with i
