Sharp and keeps its edge well. Good shaped handgrip reduces fatigue.
This hand saw is easy to use and has a very comfortable handle that doesn’t feel awkward when sawing. It also seems quite well made so I’m hoping it will last a while.
The only downside is that it doesn’t leave what I would call a perfect cut, so it’s not ideal for some jobs where precision is required. However, I’m still happy with it and would definitely recommend.
Not for heavy duty tasks and you need to apply a little pressure on it .Moves a bit on the sides when operated not giving a very straight cut do to a quite thin and very flexible blade.I think for its size the blade should be a bit thicker and more steady.Teeths are quite sharp and straight going through .Recommended for cutting wood and nothing else.
his 18 inchs saw is great, it cuts through wood easily and doesnt make lots of noise,it is great quaity and is very sharp on the blades. it is good for long peices of wood or materials that are needed cutting.
This saw is fine for use in the garden or cutting firewood, etc. It is sharp and the off-set teeth means it rips through timber pretty quickly. You do have to apply a little force and the setting of the teeth make for a pretty rough cut. So no use for joinery and I can’t imagine cutting a plastic pipe with it. However, useful enough for odd jobs where you’re not too worried about the finish. Pricey for what it is.
A well priced pretty decent saw which I have been using around the garden. It is very sharp and has made short work of the many thick branches and palm tree trunks I have been cutting which are victims of the very cold winter we have had. Comes with an easy on off guard and is the perfect size for me.
This is a good sturdy hand saw. I needed it to cut a small piece of wood from a cabinet and it was removed in no time. It’s easy to hold and use and also lightweight.
It’s sharp and functional and I don’t have anything negative to say about it.
Great saw for fine cuts. This is really good quality, keeps it’s shape and is nice and stiff so that it’s easy to make fine cuts.
I have a reciprocating saw for ripping wood and a backup tenon saw should batteries run out before the project. Thought I’d give this guy a go.
For rough cuts and ripping lengths this thing rocks. It’s no bendy than other branded saws out there so don’t think Chinese branded item must be cheap and nasty. Far from it, it is quite decent.
You will get some blow out from the back of your cut due to the coarse teeth arrangement but it’s not meant for finishing however you can just tape the back up to help reduce that.
Everyday saw .. ?? Yeah – why not. Works grea
I ordered this to use in the garden and have already used it to take off some small sized tree branches and to cut through the roots of a couple of acres that I was repotting.
This held up well so for garden use I can highly recommend it.
A nice sharp longsaw.
Cuts fine through softwood.
Has a comfortable handle.
Minimal flex.
Cheap, cheerful and sharp.
I’ve purchased this saw to fix up my garden and it’s been very easy to use. Cuts through thick branches with ease and very quick as you can see.
Would recommend 10/10
Perfect 18 inches Pro Fine Hand Saw
Comfortable to hold with a non-slip handle with a curvey design allows you to hold Hand Saw for a perfect angle cut.
durable with three-side grinding teeth made from carbon steel
I got it to cut plywood and did the job perfectly with no issue.
can be used for other purposes such as cutting PVC pipes, wallboard, and more.
very satisfied and good value for money!
This 18 inch saw gives a really nice clean cut due to angles and the amount of teeth it has, it is comfortable to hold and the blade does not flex much which is a big plus unlike some I have had in the past,it does have a hole in the end of the blade which is really handy for just hanging it in the shed, Overall I cannot fault it for the price.
If you want a straight edge, use a tenon saw, this works fantastic for rough cutting wood and does it quickly too.
This saw has a good set of sharp fine teeth which were great at going through the branches.
The handle has a good grip and the metal isn’t too flexible.
Good product, would recommend.
I got this for a little project i had to do.
I was a little excited when it arrived (simple pleasures) i needed this for a small job at the front of the house we have several trees that over hang and catch our car when we drive under, so for its price does it do the job yes it does i used the saw to remove several small and medium branches without issue the saw cut through with easy i was super impressed.
Its well made and a nice well made handle to grip onto while sawing wood or branches
Base don use im happy yo recommend
My husband used to build or fence when our electric saw died. It cut through thick timber posts very easily and gave nice crisp edges. Very impressed with the saw.
First impressions are a good saw, probably a fairly basic one, nothing that makes you shout quality but again nothing not top like about it
Teeth are sharp, cut the wood for out log store perfectly, the teeth are fairly apart so won’t give that fine edge cut
Nothing wrong with this for the price.
This is a nice sized saw. I’ve a few trees and bushes in the garden which I need to prune so ordered this. On the smaller branches it does a good job of cutting and is nice to hold and use. With it being a bit smaller I’d not use it on larger branches but it was up to the job for my needs.
A very sharp hand saw. Good quality and lightweight. At 11.99 I feel this is good value for money. The screws can be tightened if if ever happened to come loose which I think is a good feature increasing longevity.
So far we are using this to remove branches from bushes etc. It doe the job very well, seems to be sharp enough for the job, and is easy to use as it is not too long when on a ladder or in a tight space. Seems to offer good value for the quality and potential range of uses. Safety cover is easy to fit and remove
Probably more geared up to someone with small/medium hands this medium sized saw is perfect for the odd DIY job. Made easy work on some pine skirting boards and some MDF. Comes in a cardboard sleeve with a plastic saw tooth protector – although the protector in mine was chipped. Built well, and a comfortable handle grip.
This 18inch saw has an anti-slip handle that’s comfortable to hold, and it’s good for the purpose we need it for of cutting up kindling for the fireplace. The teeth are quite long so it doesn’t give the straightest edge, but this doesn’t matter as we’ll use it for firewood
I don’t know much about saws, but I do know that this one is perfect for cutting wood as I tried it on some
Logs. And apparently, it can also cut through plastic pipes, which I guess is good news for anyone who wants to combine log cutting with some plumbing work.
The anti-slip handle is a great because I’m a first-time saw user and I have no idea what I’m doing. Probablt safer than the axe I’ve usednfor logs till now though. Safety is key, people!
So if you’re looking for a saw that can do it all (well, at least cut through wood, plastic pipes, and trees), then this would be a good cheap option. Not sure it will last forever but it’s good for a few cuts!
This 18-inch hand saw with 3-sided grinded teeth is a must-have tool for any woodworking enthusiast. The saw’s sharp teeth make for a smooth and efficient cut, while its versatility makes it suitable for a range of cutting tasks. The handle is comfortable to hold and the saw feels sturdy and well-constructed. Highly recommended for the price.
I’ve been cutting down a overgrown shrub and some of the branches were a bit thick. I used the saw and it soon cut through the thicker branches. Would recommend.
Its very easy to hold and good product in work
