I struggle to use a normal saw, too wobbly & gets stuck.this is a game changer! Easy to use & sturdy. No wobbling & getting jammed. My 75 year old mum uses one. Brilliant tool to own.

    Great product.

    Sturdy blade.

And the RELEASE button functions well.

    Wear gloves!!!

    Click to RELEASE blade.

    Cut what you want to.

    Then…..

    IMPORTANT!

    To place blade back.

    Click BUT DONT HOLD ..

Then it locks before going back to the handle..

This is to ensure you get familiar with the sharp blade.

    To fully close.

    Push fully the black button.

    And then it will ..

    Close.

    Watch them fingers now…

Good value saw. The handle feels lightweight but is strong enough to handle its use.

It’s light, sturdy, folds easily and it’s sharp. I’ve had it for about 3 months but it replaced a similar item that was years old. I only broke the last one because I misused it.

Great little saw/knife that every gardener should have available.

I bought this to cut up a few old wooden chairs before recycling them. I wanted something to do the job then wouldn’t take up space as I probably won’t need a saw again for a few years, and… it fits the bill! It folds up nicely and doesn’t take up a lot of room. The complaint is that the mechanism to open/close the blade is a bit awkward. Taking it out means pinching the blade with your finger tips while holding down the button and closing it will often mean it hits the edge going back in. It proved to be a bit more of a struggle to cut up the wood but I imagine that could be me!

So all in all if you’re not planning on putting this to work every day it should do what it means to in being compact and effective.

It does what it's supposed to, might not be the best long term!

A really excellent, sharp and compact tool for my gardning bag. Perfect for getting to those branches where you don’t have enough space to get a large saw in. I can see this also being useful for it’s compat size on camping trips and adventures.

As a gardener who has a garden with loads of mid sized annoying trees, this kind of saw is an absolute must. I have secateurs, shears and loppers, but sometimes you have these 1 inch branches and twigs that you need to saw off, and going digging out the saw is a pain. Enter the folding pocket saw.
This thing would be absolutely useless if trying to saw a plank for DIY, but it’s ideal for branches. It eats through them.
It’s also sharp so do be careful.
Definitely one that every gardener with any kind of bush/tree should own.

Very handy little saw. Sturdy and robust and seems well made. Easily tackles smaller tree branches and larger bushes. Comfortable to hold and easily folds up to save on space. Overall, no issues with this and can recommend.

This is a decent, neat, folding pruning saw. When opened out, the blade clips into place and stays put, until the button on the side is pushed. The blade can be set at a range of angles. The button is nice and solid, and doesn’t feel flimsy/prone to breaking easily. I like that this folds away, as it reduces storage space needed and helps to protect the blade. Handle includes a hanging loop.

Wasn’t impressed by the packaging. This came in a retail-style plastic blister-fronted pack, even though EONO are an Amazon brand. Frustration-free, non-bleached, recycled/recyclable cardboard, please — there’s no need for the plastic.

Brought it for use in allotment that has a lot of trees that need maintenance/ trimming.
The decent blade goes through 3 or 4-inch branches easily.
Locking mechanism seems good, need to see how it fairs. Like way it folds up neatly for carrying. The great value of its price. If doing regular large jobs then I would look at a more expensive professional saw, but this one does really well for what I want.

This is a very small saw, but handy.
    Open length: 15.4inches
    Closed length: 8.5 inches
    Blade length: 7.7 inches

I ordered EONO by Amazon 7 Inch Folding Hand Saw for gardening.
I use it on small branches and shrubs.
It’s quite small compared to the normal. It only works on small plants. However it’s just what I need. Maybe I will bring to camp next time.

A solid bit of kit. My husband used this to cut some low hanging beaches off a tree, and it was easy to do. The saw is easy to hold, and it’s sharp. So sharp that he cut his arm when he slipped! Be careful!

I have been using this to cut through some thick stems in my hedge. I need it cut shorter and found that using this before using my hedge trimmer made it easier.I like that it has a safety button for when not in use and it is comfortable to hold. The teeth are sharp and made cutting through the stems easy so it will come in useful when cutting back my shrubs at the end of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for pruning.

This is a nice length saw which feels strong and sturdy. For the price I wasn’t expecting it to be top of the range, and I would say with this item you get what you pay for. The saw is sharp and can go through some fairly thick branches but it’s not the best I’ve had.

It has a locking mechanism inside, Which is a good safety feature. It only folds so far once the button has been pushed once, you then have to push it a second time to fully close it, ensuring fingers are well out of the way, which whilst I’m glad it has it, it is not an easy feature to use.

It folds down to a good compact size and it can go in a tool bag without worrying about chopping fingers when reaching in for it.

Very good tool. The blade it have super sharp teeths and is aggressive, easy to use and it cutting very fast, is great for gardening, pruning, camping, clearing trails, hiking, tree trimming. Light weighted and compact and it is comfortable to hold in hand

This pruning saw really impressed me with its triple-cut teeth, which are just like the ones on a cross-cut workshop saw. This makes them very good at ripping through bark and heartwood on a thick branch.
One thing that often happens to this kind of saw is that you can bend them badly when trying to get the best cutting angle on top of a ladder. The blade on this Eono saw seems strong enough to resist bending quite well.
The handle has an excellent ridged plastic surface with a blunt hook at the end to give a good grip on the back stroke. The blade is easy to open and close and folds neatly into the handle to cover the teeth. One thing I assume is a safety feature is the extra stop built in to the blade that prevents it from fully closing without pressing the lock button again – to avoid accidentally cutting your fingers as you close it.
It’s a nice garden tool, well-made and easy to hold and use. For under 12 it is good value and will outperform cheaper saws without the triple-cut teeth.

I don’t have much room to store tools, and rarely need them, however, I had some leftover wood in the garden I needed to break down, so I got this to get the job done and without cluttering up the house.

The folding mechanism is simple with a button just above the handle which keeps it locked in place and from coming undone, it also keeps it locked firmly in place when extended unless the button is pressed. The button itself is out the way so there is very little chance of any accidents.

When open the item is 40cm long in total, with a 20cm blade. Closed the item is about 22cm long, it’s pretty small and compact so happy I can store it away in a draw. It also has a hole on the end so you can thread a strap through it and hang it.

I like the design of it, feels like they really thought about all the uses aside from just the sawing part.

As for using it, the handle is made from rubber which gives a good grip, it has a few bits of excess rubber around the edges but they will wear off with time. It’s fairly light so feels comfortable after sawing things for a long period of time. The actual blade is sharp and easily cuts through wood once you get into it with little effort.

    Handy, compact and good quality!

I wasn’t expecting too much from this hand saw, but I thought it might someday come in quite useful. However, upon receiving the item it has so far exceeded my expectations. It came in clear plastic packaging backed on to card and it was very easy to remove. The saw itself is a lot larger than I thought it would be and it feels premium in hand. The blade itself removes from the handle easily at the touch of a button, and there was also a hint of oil or some kind of lubricant applied to it. I tested the saw on a thick plank of wood and it sliced through it like butter. The saw I currently have takes a few attempts to get a rhythm going, but this one cut straight into the wood and kept a straight smooth line. I think this little gadget will come in very useful, and I highly recommend it if you need something compact that actually gets the job done.

    Very Handy!

You receive a nice running saw, which opens and closes easy.

The blade is sharp, and the handle is easy to grip and soft to the hand.

This is good for small branches, ideal when camping or just cutting a small bush back.

I’ve tried to use it on a thick branch and it was really hard work, better using a proper saw for anything greater than a branch the thickness of the blade.

Build is okay, I’m a little concerned at the bit that connects the blade to the handle, its a single bolt and doesn’t look great, but I guess you could change the blade easy enough if you had spares.

I like this, ideal for small jobs, or for an adventures camping trip.

This is a tremendous tool for hacking away at foliage.
It’s much bigger than I expected!
It’s like a fold-out knife, except instead of being 1 blade it’s several serrated blades.
The handle makes it very comfortable to hold and operate.
I use this tool to hack away at the overgrown wistaria outside my window.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a fold away pruning or camping saw, I think this maybe the one. It measures 15.4 inches when open with a 7.7″ blade that is 1.2mm thick and it measures 8.5″ when fully folded away. The handle is hard plastic cladded with rubber with a push button blade lock which locks in two positions, one being closed the other an angled option for awkward sawing. The blade is made from 65mn Chinese standard steel, and the teeth are really brutal.

I used this tool on an established rose bush, hawthorn and beech tree, this made easy work of all. The thickest branch was 3cm, and it went through it like a knife through butter. Easy peasy.

Fully recommend this foldaway pruning saw for any avid gardener out there, amazing.

    Never saw this coming!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI received this product through the Amazon Vine review program.

Delivery & Packaging:- Delivery was prompt and packing as expected without being overly wasteful of packaging.

Brand:- I’ve seen quite a range of EONO products on Amazon and it’s a diverse range. This is part of their essentials range. They describe their Essentials brand/range as “a lifestyle brand with a mission to create a wide range of cutting-edge tech products, allowing people to make the most of a multitude of different activities. We believe innovative products should be accessible, while offering outstanding value for money. Essentials does just that.”

A quick scan of their Amazon products and they seem to have a generally positive star rating and good feedback and that was enough for me to try this pruning saw.

Product:- I need this product to keep some cobnut trees looking neat in my garden. They throw up lots of shoots and these grow relatively quickly. I cut them for garden stakes for beans etc. The problem is that they group together and it is hard to get a saw in to be able to cut them down. This pruning saw is perfectly sized to get at them and cuts really well — see photo.

According to EONO their saw has an ergonomic comfort handle. It’s supposed to be designed to reduce hand and arm fatigue when sawing. I don’t know how to measure this but it is comfortable and easy to use. I don’t have enough to cut to be able to fully test this — but it is comfortable to use.

It folds nicely and importantly safely. I can keep it in my pocket without fear of cutting myself. It does also have a hole at the base of the handle when I could thread a cord through to be able to hang this on a hook when not in use. This is a good idea. Sadly this is where the blade is when the saw is closed. you can see the blade/teeth in the gap – so I would image that it would wear on the saw teeth but I will try this at some point.

The saw teeth are sharp and strong and made short work of the cobnet trees branches/shoots – noting that I’m not cutting down fully grown trees. see photo.

Value for Money: Looks and feels reasonably sturdy. I think I would have preferred the blade to have been a bit thicker but it works fine. You can see in one of the photos that the cut is smooth.

    Issues/Concerns:
Safety concern of the folding blade — You have to use the gear lock to open and close the blade so this is a good safety feature. You actually have to depress and hold down the lock to open/close and I like this feature. I had a cheaper product a few years back that didn’t have this and I stopped using it as the saw could close too easily. This is the very reason I was keen to try this saw.

Overall Recommendation: A good pruning saw at a reasonable price. I don’t think it’s as sturdy a some of the more expensive ones on the market but it is more than capable for my needs.

Good pruning saw - sharp and smooth cu

I could see how you might want to take this on a camping trip – but I have been using it on the garden. This is small enough to fit in your pocket when folded, but big enough to rip through branches that are too large for my pruners. Not sure how well it will last, but so far it is holding up well in terms of sharpness. I like it and think it is good value.

This saw arrives securely packaged and must be signed for by someone 18 or over.
It seems sturdy enough. I cut through a aprx 10cm tree branch easily and quickly enough and it seems to have plenty more life in it, the blade is good and sharp and very thick (as i tried to show in the pics).
I do wonder about the locking mechanism inside, it has a good safety feature of only folding so far once the button has been pushed once, you then have to push it a second time to fully close it, ensuring fingers are well out of the way. The pin that holds the mechanism does seem a little thin and i do wonder if it maybe a little too thin but even if in the unlikely event it breaks it still wouldn’t effect usage of the saw, it would just mean being a little more careful when storing, and that’s pretty mandatory anyway when using a tool like this.
As i said it does seem a good sturdy blade and i would recommend just on sharpness and strength of blade alone.
On the back of the pack it states there is a warranty but doesn’t say for how long.. the price i would say is about average.
It arrived adequately packaged and quickly.
I have tried to show as much detail as poss in the pics so i hope you find this review helpful.

I use saws like this quite a lot – around my garden for pruning, as a conservation volunteer hedgelaying and as a wild camper. I own a couple of popular models for comparison – the Bahco Laplander (around the 20 mark) and the Spear and Jackson Razorsharp pruning saw (around 22 but I got mine on a sale price for a lot less).

The Eono is built like the S&J and sized to compete with the Laplander and other 7inch pocket saws.

Between the Bahco and the Eono, cutting capability is similar though there is more play in the Eono blade so it takes more care to get the cut started. The grip is nice on the Eono and the bright colour makes it easier to keep sight of in a pile of leaves. There are a few brands selling more or less identical designs so they are rightly popular.

Minor niggles – the hole for a loop of string is inside the range of cut of the last teeth of the saw. Any cord you put through there will be slowly chewed by the blade. Secondly the folding mechanism has a stop point at about 30 degrees open – maybe to protect from folding on your fingers but I find it fiddly.

Overall a good garden saw at a fair price. If you need something more heavy duty the S&J is a bigger more capable saw; if you want something more light and packable the Bahco Laplander is the benchmark. But for value and everyday capability this is great.

    Good balance at the price

A small serrated edge saw, ideal for pruning small trees.
The saw is sharp and small, it folds away into the handle making it safe to keep in a back pocket whilst you wrangle your way into the tree and locate the branch that you want to deal with.
The safety lock can be operated easily by one hand and maybe the use of the tree it’s self to open it up- this made things easier for me as my other hand was holding the offending branch that I wanted to remove at the time.
The cut given was clean and removing the branch didn’t take too much effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharp and effective

Cuts through green wood easy and as skinny cuts in the tightest spots such as hedgerows. My shrubs are out of control and when I was offered this I knew I’d be s good person to test it as I’ve got tightly grown mixed hedgerows which contain Holly, eucalyptus and some other heavy duty variants of Holly. All of which over the years have grown together. I already own a wolfgarten half scythe type saw but it kept getting stuck and I’d given up last week.so as soon as this came I tested it out. It was magic. I managed all the tight spots in the hedges where the wood was thicker than a broom handle even.

There was a minor in issue initially where when fully pushed forward it got stuck but I soon learned to not pull it all the way past the final cm.

I like that it folds up AND that they incorporate a safety feature of the final 30 degree or so it stops short of closing to enable you to ensure your fingers are out of the way before final close.

Very thoughtful design and even a carry hole for some thread or on a nail in the shed.

    It’s just perfect.

This is a very straightforward item to use; essentially you just need to unlock the blade, click it into place and start cutting. The teeth are very aggressive and make mincemeat out of branches; although I would tend to switch to something that requires less elbow grease as branch thickness increases, this deals with up to medium stems reasonably well.

The moulding is a bit hit and miss, but the safety catch is secure and should ensure it can be stored safely away until needed. The handle provides a good gripping surface, but gloves are needed as it isn’t all that comfortable to use for an extended period of time.

Came today will be useing this blade for around the garden, it really has a beefy blade on this thing. Made of good matearls also. The locking mechanism is sturdy so it won’t be folding back in when it’s out nor will it be folding out once in.

Feels light in the hand yet strong enough to saw a tree down, Very impressed would buy agen.

    Good sturdy blade.
