A brilliant speaker with excellent sound reproduction.
Much better than my old cheaper one from a different manufacturer.
The casing is robust and comes with a carry cord. Another bonus is that it is waterproof.
    Excellent product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely Love Sound core products, I have multiple speakers and ear buds for various uses and each product is excellent.

For such a small speaker this packs a punch, clear vocals and sound, great battery life, nice simple design as the market is flood with strange designs now. For the price range this speaker is in, it punches far above its class. well worth the money!

Amazing product for the price. The sound out of the box was a little off, but after tweaking equiliser in the app, i am more than happy with the sound now. There are presets available in the app and custom option available as well to suit your needs. Will definitely recommend.

Bought this to take on holidays, as well discounted (about – 20). Sound quality is not quite as good as the one I already had. (I paid about 50 for that one some 2 years ago), but it’s still pretty good!. We will all agree it’s not Bose or such, but nor have we paid those prices! Overall, for 37 quid, I am very happy!

Wow just WOW ! Blown away first tune i played after Bluetooth connection, such quality, clarity and bass notes, not tinny at all, would expect to pay 100 + for a sound of this quality, Got it for 42 Amazon. (i used to be a quality control inspector for a record company/cd manufacturer ) Anker soundcore customer for life now. From project Kestrel. March 2024

I bought this to add a speaker to an iMac Mini and also to use as a general mobile speaker for Apple iphone, iPad and to use for presentations. The sound quality is more than adequate for all I wanted it to do.

My car and van radio is pants and won’t connect to phone. I have this super speaker in car now that I can play music I want on and have clear instructions from phone sat navigation. Love so much have replaced Alexa smart speakers in kitchen and bedroom with these as their that good. Love that I can easily move kitchen one outside if I want when in the garden and bedroom one to bathroom when in the bathroom. I like to listen to you tube and you tube meditation music that can’t seem to get on smart speaker. So pleased with these. Love em

I had heard the sound core 2 and I had been impressed with it. my hearing is not great but I can say that to me the 3 gives a cleaner sound.
Well made easy connectivity very pleased

I’m really impressed by this speaker, considering there’s mobile phones bigger than this it kicks out some decent quality sound! Obviously it’s not ‘Hi-Fi’ quality but it’s definitely not tinny if you position it close to a wall or enclosure you wouldn’t believe the bass is coming from something so small!
Small, convenient, battery is great as is the sound and it’s pretty cheap 🙂

Ok for the money, but not much better than the mini. Graphic equaliser on app doesn’t achieve much in terms of adjusting sound quality. Still, I like Anker products in general.

I’m a bit of a sound snob (I’m not proud) and I can’t stand tinny rubbish speakers, these are not them, they are rich and full and surprisingly loud for their size …I use mine in a very small room (changing room for a sauna) so there is lot of echo which helps the sound but it needs to be there first and this speaker has it

I’m very impressed and I wasn’t expecting to be

Bought the Soundcore 2 and was very underwhelmed by the sound quality, replaced it with the Soundcore 3 and the difference in quality, clarity, mid range and bass are all (in my opinion) miles better.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe bought this for use in the bathroom and kitchen with the odd beach trip, so it had to be waterproof and solid which this speaker is, we were also looking for something that wasn’t just about the Bass and this gives us a well rounded sound still with more than enough bass.
The speaker has Bluetooth that is super quick to connect and has a big enough battery power to last that day at the beach… An all round package that’ll be hard to beat at that price….

I purchased this item to replace my 2yr old Anker Sound bar, which had stopped accepting a charge. The new speaker is off the scale in terms of performance. Great audio quality, easy to connect to my phone and a joy to use. Linked up to Spotify, this speaker takes me to my happy place.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersIf you have Partycast issues – read this!

Great sturdy little speaker with terrific sound. Purchased a second speaker for even better stereo sound and they paired for partycast easily first time. However, I really a struggled with the Partycast function second time round as it dropped connection and wouldn’t repair. It just would not work, despite following all the advice online. Soundcore/Anker support we’re useless.

Eventually I found a small one liner online that advised a ‘factory’ reset. This is different to the speaker reset that Anker advise. To factory reset, hold the ‘+’ and ‘Bluetooth’ buttons for 4 seconds. The speaker will emit a sound which means it’s reset. Then start over – connect your slave (original) speaker to Bluetooth on your phone/iPad etc. Press the Bluetooth button on that same speaker for about 2-3 seconds until a slow white flash appears. Turn on your second speaker, again, press Bluetooth button for 2-3 seconds and get the slow white flash. Once you get that on your second speaker, press the Bluetooth button twice in quick succession for a fast white flash. It should then pair with the original slave speaker. Partycast enabled!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat sound, with phone or tablet if using app gives plenty of options, even just connecting to a laptop sound is good, seemingly a good range through the spectrum. Bug fan of soundcore anyway but will always be honest if something sounds bad I’ll always say. Easy to connect to devices, couldn’t believe the size and what is being pumped out of it! Charging is quick and simple and it feels solid, as always a good quality build from soundcore! Definitely want to get the bigger one for outdoor work at the school I work at.

This a very good sounding speaker with surprising bass for it’s price and size.
I use it while out hiking and camping the battery life is perfect as lasts longer than I need it to, an added bonus it can be used to top up my mobile in an emergency but never used this feature.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI got this as a replacement to the old model, soundcore 2.
    It’s great . But.
The more powerful speakers do give a better sound for music, but with the extra base I’ve found it to have less battery life, more weight and size and I have to actually play it LOWER so the sound doesn’t carry to other rooms or neighbours while I’m cooking/ gardening etc.
Oddly, the old soundcore two was less of a powerful speaker but more fit for (my) purpose.

This speaker is great for the price its ideal in my bedroom, bathroom and out when washing the car. Sound is rich and full with decent mid range and base for such a small speaker. Yes it’s not for a large living room or movies then you will need its larger brother. The battery lasts for a very long time had it 1 month and only charged twice so far. I would say it lasts as long as the manufacturers claims. Would recommend this little portable speaker.

I know nothing about the technical side of these kind of items but what I can say is WOW! Its a little beauty! Small but perfectly formed. I love the outside finish – kind of rubberised matt look – very stylish. The sound quality is perfect for me, I luurrrve a good bass and this is smooth & deep. I haven’t tested the full volume capacity (yet) as I use it in my crafting shed & don’t want to entertain the whole village, although Im convinced it would perform that job very efficiently Connects to bluetooth immediately and after a full charge on arrival I haven’t had to charge again yet (2weeks) so that bodes well Overall its a perfect little power house of loveliness for me. Fully recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive!

I am not an audiophile, but the sound from this is good from a small budget speaker. I used this to upgrade a Soundcore Mini speaker that I have used for many years (and is still going strong).

Some observations that might be useful:
    – It did not sound good out if the box. Like some other audio products I have owned, it needs some hours of running in and then then sound, in its default settings, is much improved. I wonder whether some others who have been disappointed with the sound have not realised this.
    – I was concerned about the sound effects when turning on and off being annoying/disruptive (I use the speaker in my office, so it is on and off a lot for calls). These sounds can be turned off in the app via a ‘voice prompts’ option.
    – The charge and power light double up, so if the speaker is on it’s not clear if it is or isn’t charging, However, there is a charge and power indicator in the app.

Overall, good value, especially at 40 on discoount.

I bought this when it was 39 and consider it to be excellent value. For such a small unit the sound quality is very good. It’s coated in a silicone rubber skin which I’m not particularly fond of but other than that, can’t fault it.

I bought this exact speaker after seeing one in action doing a really good job of filling a big room in a camping barn with music. Haven’t been disappointed. The bluetooth connectivity is really reliable and connects in a couple of seconds when turned on. The sound quality is great. The battery appears to go on forever (haven’t actually had to charge it yet and I’ve had it for 2 months, using several times a week). The loop is handy too for hanging it up. I waited for it to be in a deal, which happens quite regularly, and at that price it’s well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis speaker is built to survive! It feels like it’s built with high quality material, it’s solid!
The sound quality is perfect, how? Well, if you don’t like the way it sounds 100% you can change it and adapt it to better suit your choice of music and sound via a free app. I’ve never needed to charge it, what I mean is, it’s never told me the battery is low. I charge for an occasion like a family day out or a bbq and It’s just lasted. Usually on 75% volume none stop. It’s laud, really laud and usually at top volume a speaker can sound distorted, not this one! Highly reccomend!

5.0 out of 5 stars A beast of a speaker!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have had the Soundcore and Soundcore 2 in the past and have been impressed with the sound that is produced from a small speaker.

The speaker connects easily to Bluetooth and has very good sound which I can hear even when I’m on a different floor in the house.

I work in construction so the ruggedness of the speaker is great for me as it is always getting bumped and sometimes dropped on site and as the speaker has a rubber casing around it I’ve never had any problems after things like that have happened.

The speaker works great just as it did when I bought it even with the amount of times it’s been dropped etc.

The battery life is also good I can have the speaker on for a full 8 hour shift and still have battery left at the end of the day.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersAs a big fan of Anker products, I decided to purchase this Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. This Christmas present for my boyfriend has exceeded our expectations in terms of sound quality, versatility, and overall satisfaction.

First and foremost, the sound quality produced by the Soundcore Anker 3 is simply outstanding. Anker has consistently impressed me with their attention to detail and commitment to audio excellence, and this speaker is no exception. It delivers crystal-clear sound, deep bass, and well-balanced tones that truly bring our favorite music to life. Whether we’re listening to our favorite tunes, watching movies, or even enjoying podcasts, the Soundcore Anker 3 never fails to provide an immersive and enjoyable listening experience.

Being a fan of Anker products, I already own Anker Bluetooth headphones and a portable power bank, both of which have exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and durability. The Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth Speaker maintains the same high standards I have come to expect from Anker. The build quality is solid, and its sleek design adds a touch of sophistication to any room or outdoor setting. I appreciate Anker’s commitment to delivering products that are not only functional but also visually appealing.

Another notable feature of the Soundcore Anker 3 is its versatility. With Bluetooth connectivity, it effortlessly pairs with our devices, giving us the freedom to enjoy our favorite music wirelessly.

Furthermore, the battery life of the Soundcore Anker 3 is exceptional. It provides hours of uninterrupted playback, allowing us to enjoy our music without worrying about frequent recharging. This makes it perfect for road trips, outdoor adventures, or simply enjoying music throughout the day without interruption.

In conclusion, the Soundcore Anker 3 Bluetooth Speaker is another exceptional product from Anker that has further solidified my admiration for their brand. Its outstanding sound quality, versatility, and sleek design make it a fantastic addition to any audio setup. As a fan of Anker products, I can confidently say that the Soundcore Anker 3 lives up to the brand’s reputation for delivering high-quality audio experiences. If you’re in search of a Bluetooth speaker that combines impressive sound performance with versatility and reliability, the Soundcore Anker 3 is an excellent choice that won’t disappoint.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersFirstly, don’t compare this speaker with a larger more expensive speaker. It will sound small and lacking in deep bass.
However if your finances or carrying capacity won’t stretch to a bigger better speaker, you will find the sound quality from this (admittedly quite large) pocket-sized gem to be very pleasing, even at less than 50% volume in a medium sized room.
I would recommend watching an Alan Ross YouTube review of the speaker and making a note of his custom EQ settings. Here is where the speaker becomes more than meets the eye, as the Soundcore app. for mobile phones etc. includes a nine band graphic equalizer, and the ability to save multiple custom settings of your choosing, as well as a choice of the manufacturer’s own presets. A little experimentation is well worthwhile.
In summary, there are several other very good speakers available at or around this price level. I can only comment on this one, and recommend it to a buyer looking for a small, relatively cheap but good quality speaker.
Also if size and price are not quite so restricted, then for an extra 20 to 40 there are some excellent sounding speakers around these days. Again I can recommend Alan Ross’s excellent YouTube videos. Don’t be put off but his somewhat quirky presentation, as his reviews are very professional and thorough.
    Happy listening.

I have used this in every room in the house, it is quite heavy, but the sound and bass produced is very very good. Cannot wait to give it a good blast in the garden come the summer. This sounds very close to the JBL sound. Grab one of these if quality of sound is your thing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI upgraded my Soundcore 2 Bluetooth speaker to this after reading an excellent review in a gadget magazine, and I’m glad I did The Soundcore 3 is a really great speaker for its size, it sounds fantastic and is a definite improvement over the 2. It connected to my phone quickly and easily via Bluetooth. You can also adjust its EQ via the Soundcore app, which you can’t with the 2. I use it primarily in my car, which is old and doesn’t have a working stereo in it! It’s plenty loud enough even with the windows open, and doesn’t distort at higher volumes. The battery lasts for ages on a single charge the documentation says 24 hours. I’m really pleased with it, for the price I paid (39.99) it’s a really awesome speaker. It’s meant to be waterproof too, but I haven’t tested that yet maybe I’ll take it in the shower next time I charge it!

This is a really handy Bluetooth speaker that I use with my laptop and with my phone. It is very portable–but possibly a little smaller than I was expecting, and that makes the sound quality a little thin although still very good. It is easy to charge from a USB C cable, works very well and is perfect when I am travelling. The only annoying problem I have, which seems to be specific to this speaker, is that when I get an alert for a message, it will stop playing, and I have to manually restart the playing. No other speakers or headphones have stopped completely, so I am not sure why this is the case just with this speaker.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen I first paired this to my computer, it sounded terrible. I changed the playback device to “Headphones Soundcore 3” rather than “Stereo” and it basically fixed the issue but it started to skip my music. I ended up messing about with the buttons on the top of the speaker and it basically fixed the issue??

Now, it sounds awesome, and the mobile app is fun to mess about with. It’s fairly weighty for such a small device and provides a super nice sound system for me, a novice in audio. This is the quality I would expect from Anker 🙂

I bought this because it was small, and didn’t expect much in the way of sound quality. I am, however, very surprised by the sound – better than I thought possible. It is a bit hard to get it to connect with Bluetooth, though. It seems to connect to any other device it has connected to previously instead. It is necessary to ensure that all other devices are manually disconnected first.

I have a Soundcore 2 but the mini usb socket to charge up the battery failed. I was asking for a replacement board as I had located the problem. I contacted Anker and initially got an automated reply. As my SC2 was out of guarantee they could do nothing for me. I emailed them explaining all I needed was a pc board to replace my faulty board. I got a great reply from them, apologizing for the inability to provide a new board. They did however offer me a discount on a new speaker. I took them up on this and bought a new SC3. Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this in April and already in August it has stopped working. It started switching itself off even when connected to power and now it won’t hold it’s charge, the red light remains on despite being on charge for over 24 hours

After contacting the manufacturer via Amazon, the matter was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I was given advice how to reset the speaker and as that didn’t work, a new speaker is on it’s way arriving tomorrow. Part of their 18 month warranty.
I liked the speaker, the sound quality was excellent and I like a good bass, the battery normally lasts for as long as I have ever needed it to. I use it daily for many hours. At a loss without it to be honest. Well done and thank you Anker.

Loud & clear I have a couple of other similar speakers and they don’t compare to this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to take away with us on holiday, for use around the pool and on the beach. Absolute winner. Sound and volume is more than adequate. Forget the “bass-up” function and use the custom equaliser instead, via the app, for better bass and treble. Battery life is amazing. It didn’t get charged at all while we were away and it still had about 30% left when we got home. It’s my go to speaker now. (I also have a B&O A2) The speaker has a rubberised kind of skin to it, that will let it take a few falls and of course, it’s waterproof and dustproof. Thinking about getting a second one to pair up using the “party share” function.

I brought the soundcore 3 as a replacement as my soundbook had broken. I paid 55 for on offer and can honestly say that you will not find a better sounding speaker around for that kind of cash. The graphic app is good to as you can get the correct sound o your desire, don’t know what the negative remarks are all about.

If you’re using the speaker for music then its brilliant. Great sound quality, volume and bass. However when playing video through it, there’s a noticeable delay in the audio.

I like almost everything about it. It is slightly smaller than I’d expected but the sound is big (which is the important thing). Decent bass and clear treble tones. This unit has a great battery life which was one of the reasons I purchased it. I use this speaker in my holiday home currently and will travel it abroad as and when I go. Al in all, a snazzy unit and great value for money.

Liked the size, easy to move around, surprisingly good quality sound for small speaker, good battery life and very importantly download soundcore app as it allows personalisation of sound to your taste (I maxed the bass). Good price, used daily

This was a great buy just for what i needed! A small, portable speaker with plenty of power. The speak volume was very impressive and i personally found the bass just right for indoor use. I took it on holiday and it held up the quality poolside as well as indoors and on a balcony.

    I would definitely recommend!!

Using as a sound bar for my tv. Brilliant battery life. Sound is very full but bass heavy. Be Great for a party. Not particularly cheap but is very well made

I bought the soundcore 3 cos I was traveling to Nigeria and knowing the unstable power supply there I needed something to keep my soul & spirit intact . I never regretted it, the sound quality is superb and battery life is very good too, the only bad part is folks back home took it from me…..yes, it is that good. Now I have to buy another one.

Really can’t fault anything I’ve ever bought from this brand, Soundcore headphones are brilliant we have both the p2 and also the q30. So naturally decided to give this speaker a go, it compares with any speaker I’ve ever had from Bose, senheiser, Sony, Samsung and looks great too. Honestly can’t find fault with this brand and couldn’t recommend enough to others. Give them a go, you won’t be disappointed.

We also bought the recommended protective case which is great quality too.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter a quick online search for “best budget bluetooth speakers”, the Soundcore 3 came out on top of a few lists, so I took a chance and overall, I was not disappointed.

    PROS:
What immediately stood out was the clarity of the sound; it’s very easy to pick out bass, middle and treble ranges so your audio sounds great. Very easy to pair with devices (I’ve paired it with 3 separate devices so far), and the dimensions are good, not to cumbersome to carry around but also has a satisfying weight to it. I haven’t tried the app yet, so I haven’t tested the EQ adjustments that can be made, but then my phone’s music app has an EQ setting that I use so I’m not sure if that would even be useful? It might just over-complicate matters.

    CONS:
A couple of small nit picks. I personally would have liked some dedicated “skip track back/forward” buttons on the top and there would have been room for them. The rubberized outer shell, while good for gripping and carrying, also feels very much like it will get marked very easily so depending how much you carry this around you can probably expect it to start looking a little beat up quite quickly unfortunately.
At the top end of volume the sound also distorts a bit, but then that’s probably true of any speaker, especially smaller bluetooth ones. (I can’t speak to the waterproof aspect as I have no intention of testing that out and just hope it works if water ever gets anywhere near it!). Does the speaker really need an app? Not everything needs an app, so I doubt I’ll install it as I don’t want to have to set EQ settings on my phone’s music player AND set EQ settings on the speaker, especially as I use it with different devices. That seems like an unnecessary addition.

Overall, it’s a good little speaker, but considering the Soundcore 2 is significantly cheaper (you can get one of those for almost half the price of the Soundcore 3), I have to wonder how much better the Soundcore 3 is compared to it’s predecessor, and should I just have bought that one? So while it’s good, it’s also a little on the expensive side.

Don’t expect subwoofer bass but for it’s size and portability it packs a decent punch.

These have a really good and strong base – so good for listening to pop music and soundtracks for films. I brought them to listen to clasical music and they kill the high frequences. So not a good buy if you want to listen to a wide spectrum of frequences.

This is an absolutely fantastic bluetooth speaker. Many on the market are over priced and do not have half the capability of this little box of tricks. When it arrived it already had charge so downloaded the app and set it up which takes only a couple of minutes and that was it. The sound quality on high volume was fantastic and, it really does have some volume. Combine this with the graphic equaliser and volume options on the app with the ability to connect additional speakers makes this a fantastic Bluetooth speaker good enough for any party or gathering or just for listening on your own. This speaker is highly recommended and for its price it knocks spots of more over priced competitors. A*****

Bought this on offer for 35, for this price it is probably the best on the market by quite some margin.

Really bassy sound profile so out of the box suits music genres that favour this, but this can be adjusted via the app. Gets a little distorted at max volume but you’ll be hard pressed to find a speaker that doesn’t and IPX7 is a welcome bonus.

At its usual full price I think it’s in a very crowded field and would be hard to stand out, but if you can get it on offer then 100% get it.

I was expecting reasonable sound and clarity, first impressions are way beyond that. Basically out performing expectations in clarity, tone and volume without loosing a definite base.

Absolutely will recommend to anyone looking for a cost effective solution for music in those odd locations that happen

Have not yet tried in a more open area so cannot comment on how well it does there but will be trying that soo

For the price, this speaker is really great overall, but I think the bass is somewhat limited compared to the soundcore 2. I think this one is louder though, so it may just be that the soundcore 2 was more balanced. The mids and highs on this are top tier, as advertised, and it’s battery life is insane – the time between charges on this speaker is nuts.

Mine arrived able to play sound perfectly but unable to charge, though it seemed like support handn’t had this issue before so I wouldn’t worry about that. Their support is great though, which is the main reason for writing this review. Hermes lost the speaker when I returned it (typical), but they weren’t phased and shipped me out a replacement anyway. Staff were very friendly and it was sorted out in good time.

Highly recommended for its sound quality, and even more so for the brand that make it and their support team.

I bought this to replace an ageing Anker speaker. I use this with an iPad to watch streamed content and videos when away from home. The lag between picture and audio is awful with this unit. It makes a film unwatchable. If you use it like this look elsewhere. If you just want music it’s great. Sound quality is surprising for such a small device and battery life is great. I’ve gone back to using my original Anker for video from iPad and repurposed this so gave it higher scores than start of my comments hinted a

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe bass is not as deep as I’d expected and disappears as you increase the volume. The volume is not loud and will definitely not serve if used outdoor. This speaker is definitely overpriced at 40. I wish I had gone for something different

I have to change my rating to 4* as I am super impressed with Anker Customer Support Service in relation to my earlier review. They responded to my comments above and were very helpful, honest and polite. I got a refund for the Soundcore3 and bought a Soundcore Motion Boom which certainly met my expectation. I guess I was expecting too much from the soundcore3 considering the power output (This is entirely my fault as I misjudge the capabilities of a 16W output outdoor). The Soundcore Motion Boom is 30W and would definitely serve the purpose. Soundcore3 is ok indoor with decent sound quality. I understand the upgrade version of the soundcore3 boost has better production at 20W output although I did not go for it as I noticed the Soundcore Motion boom costs less than twice the price at 30W output at the time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDisclaimer: I did the sound engineering for the plays when I was at school, and I’ve worked with some high end audio systems and been to a lot of live music and festivals.

The bass is quite strong at low volume, which is good. But any higher volume and it gets muffled and too boomy without being able to hear the individual bass notes. It sounds like someone knocking on a heavy wooden box trying to get out. That’s the best way I can describe it. I’ve worked with audio people at festivals so I like to think I know what I’m talking about.

The app is terrible, hard to find what I want I can’t work out how to set my own EQ profiles and give them a name, however it does remember the last settings I had it on.

Battery life is good, I use it quite a lot and have only charged it for the first time out of the box.

It’s good value, and seems well built and sturdy.

It’ll do me for now where I’m living and don’t have my quality sound system here. I look forward to trying it out at home.

My 4 year old, 15 Lidl Bluetooth speaker sadly died, having served me so well! Did a lot of research to find a replacement & decided on the Soundcore 3. So happy I did. It feels heavy & substantial, the outer casing feels silky & the sound is great. The app is really user friendly, haven’t tried customising the settings as I’m happy with the sound quality as it. The sound quality seems good to me & good volume, filled the holiday caravan we were staying in, had to turn it down. Decent volume in the house too. Don’t know enough to go on about specs/intricacies of sound quality but I can say if you want a decent speaker with good sound quality, this Anker is well worth the money.

My Bose speaker died on me. I was never too happy about the lack of some feature. True it lasted 10 years.. But.. So when it stopped working I didn’t want to invest that much money. Having looked at reviews D choices of similar products I decided for anker as I have tried products.
The battery is incredible. I have had this approx 2 weeks, used it daily and last subday a whole afternoon and the battery is still not flat.. Compared to my phone I’d say this is a great feature.
Easy to pair too. Sounds send good to me, even at low volume it folks my room. I am sure there are music buffs that will claim the sound is poor, but I hear the bass & the rest well enough. So I think it’s good value for money.

I may update in a year or do if longevity is an issue

Purchased for my wifes recent birthday. She loves to listen to her 80s hits in the shower and had lost the charger for her old speaker so i got her this one.
The build quality is excellent and the item is well packaged. Thankfully there was sufficient charge in the unit when unboxed so she immediately (and easily) paired it to her phone to test.

The sound quality is amazing for such a small unit, and its loud when you want it to be. You’d think that there would be a lack of depth to the sound but it really kicks out the bass when you need it to. Her music to test these things is from the likes of David Guetta, Avicci etc and it performed really well…

It isn’t perfect though… kicking out these banging tunes at high volume results in some attenuation of the bass but this is to be expected really

All in all a fantastic buy, the battery lasts for ages and considering the price it will hopefully last for many years.

This is one of my best purchases of the year… and there have been many many amazon purchases.

The sound quality is superb! Its got a really nice deep bass without being overpowering. I hear theres an app to equalize the sound but Ive not even downloaded it as the sound is perfect as it is.

I’ve not actually charged it yet and ive been using it a few weeks, so the battery life is really good.

It feels like its built really well. It has like a rubbery coating on it which will help stop it getting damaged if you drop it.

I paid around 45 quid for this speaker and it blows any hifi system ive had out of the water. You cant go wrong for that price, highly recommened.

There are probably a lot of audiophiles not giving this system the rating it deserves… id say give it a try, see what you think, if you dont agree with my assesment, send it back.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI just love Anker (Soundcore) audio equipment and this little beauty is an addition to speakers I already own from Anker.

As always with Anker products, they come superbly packaged, so that your prized item is in perfect condition when it reaches you.

This Soundcore 3 was 75% charged when I opened the box and it did not take long to reach 100%. Yes, they even provide a USB-C lead to charge your speaker and a decent length too,

Connecting to Bluetooth was very swift and linked it to the SoundCore app, in which i already have installed for other Soundcore speakers and earbuds I own.

It immediately downloaded and installed an updated Firmware and then, it was ready for music.

I like all genres of music; Rock, Pop, Classical and so, it was good to try out various equalised settings.

The Soundcore 3 section of the app has preset equalise settings (Soundcore Signature, Voice, Treble Boost and Balanced) but it was nice to use the actual Custom equaliser to set my own Bass, Mids and Treble to get the same balance as my other Motion+ speaker.

The sound is great both at low and high volume but it isn’t too keen on heavy Bass at high volumes when using custom equaliser. Fine, then you reduce the 80Hz slider to approx +6 dB. Rotate the speaker 180 degrees, so that the Bass port is facing you and the speaker drivers are facing away and you have perfect sound.

It’s just a perfect all-round speaker and being waterproof too, you can take it into the bathroom and listen to music whilst you soak.

There are many portable speakers out there and you get what you pay for. With Anker, you always get top quality and ALL my bluetooth speakers in my home, are Anker Soundcore.

Add this to your cart. You will not be disappointed.

    Thanks for reading 🙂
