It works, but it makes a lot of noise, even on the lowest setting – hence not really suitable for use whilst sleeping.
This is our second fan as they work well and are relatively quiet taking up not too much room. I would prefer if there was a slot on the fan for storing the remote when not in use (as there is on the smaller fan) but overall this has been a blessing overnight in the very hot weather we have had.
Great fan and make sleep so easy in hot weather ….. so quiet on level 1 with great air movement that even i can sleep and im a light sleeper …. so good my mum got one

Finally I have a fan that I can use and still hear the tv. The timer function is easy to use and it means I can fall asleep without worrying about turning it off and it won’t wake me up by making me cold in the early hours. Brilliant fan. I bought one 3 years ago and I now have 3 of them.
Pleased with this fan. It is more powerful than the desk fan we had in the lounge. Just got to decide which room to keep it in.
a big improvement over your average ineffectual asthmatic desk fans, which really are not fit for purpose.

I have a very hot house, especially my living room. This fan cooled the room quickly even on a low setting. The noise is fairly quiet too. Love it 🙂
Helps enormously to cool our home down in the evenings, also the remote control means we don’t have to get up to adjust the settings or turn off. So much better and quieter than our old one
Easy to use whether remote or manual. Cools room instantly and is not too noisy. Much appreciated in hot weather. Slim, so doesn’t take up much floor space

Over the hot days we recently had, they were our life line. I bought three, one for each bedroom. They make no noise or shake, and are very efficient.
I bought this fan for my elderly mum . The remote control means that she is not having to get up out of her chair every time she wants to change the setting. I think that it is good value for money.

Efficient and good looking fan. We bought the white one. Reasonable length of flex so no real need for an extension lead. Added bonus of a remote control for which you will need 2 AAA batteries (non rechargeable) Provides a lovely cooling breeze in the warm weather.
Really good fan. Very effective even on the lowest setting. Pity there’s no place to put the remote when not in use!!
It’s a very efficient fan and helped to keep us cool during the hot weather. The remote control is a bonus- you don’t even have to get up to change the settings

Just enough sound to be soothing. Good air flow on medium setting, I haven’t found the need for the strongest setting so far, maybe in peak summer. Nice to have standing next to your bed.

This slim but powerful tower fan sat neatly in my living room and gave plenty of oscillating cool air during our hot weeks this summer. Although I did bring out a standup circular fan at the other end of the room, but only on the very hottest day (98F degrees). That circular fan is clumsy and takes up too much room, so I only get it out on occasion because it points upwards, which the tower fan doesn’t do. I still recommend this oscillating tower as a good starting point to cool your house during the summer months.
I would have liked a place to store the remote control on the fan when the fan wasn’t in use.

They are just fine, what we wanted, slimline and efficient. To be fair we haven’t used remote controls or anything other than cold air rotate. Great. I have no idea why I get asked these questions just one week after delivery….. I can’t talk to reliability, robust etc etc obviously.
It is as expected. However, I thought the sleep mode will reduce the noise a little bit, but it didn’t. Instead there is a timer. I recommend this fan it does it’s work and the remote control is a huge benefit.

I got this tower fan just in time for the heatwave and it’s great so far. Reasonably quiet with different modes. Powerful and of good build quality. Looks smart and well designed in the corner of the room. Very pleased and would recommend.

The fan is a very good buy! It has so many different settings and the fan itself isn’t too loud. My only issue is that when you press the buttons (either from the remote or fan itself) it makes a loud beep noise which can be quite annoying especially if you’re setting it to a timer. But overall I’d 100% say it was worth the buy!
I wanted to avoid the ‘thrum’ of a stand fan, but without losing the cooling breeze, and this fan totally delivers. On the lowest of three speeds it provides a gentle breeze that is ideal at bedtime, and the sound level doesn’t disturb at all in a silent room. In the lounge, with the television on, level 2 doesn’t get in the way of the entertainment and gives a lovely level of wind that will have your hair sweeping back and your skin refreshingly cooled.
We have tried the highest level, just for review purposes, but haven’t needed to use it in anger. That top power is below the power of a powerful stand fan but massively quieter.
The remote control does exactly what you would hope – it controls remotely – including the timer function which is perfect in the bedroom.
The back of the tower has a slot for your hand so that you can easily carry it from room to room, and it is very light.
Highly recommended.
