I bought this for my father who has parkinsons
And its helping him to keep those muscles moving and keeping him active.
Its sturdy and doesnt take up so much room and can be folded and put away.
Nice exercise bike apparently it’s good exercise for arthritis of the knees. Had a problem when I first received it with the speedo / mileometer not working . I had to check it out and removed the cover to find the pick up in completely the wrong position made an adjustment and all is good now.
Great item,got it today, took around 25 mins to put together, also when assembling, all of the nuts and bolts and washers were on the parts so it was very easytoassemble
no sorting out a loads of nuts and bolts, I started using it right away, very comfy, the settings and lcd display are great displaying all sorts of information speed, distance, calories pulse etc…
Very happy with this bike, and and it will be used every day.
Excellent bike. Looks a little unstable but once you’re on it, it stabilises. It’s a smooth ride and is really quiet so you can watch the TV at the same time, unlike my previous bike.
Only downfall is that because of the design, you can’t really stand up and cycle. Other than that, well worth it, I’d certainly recommend.
Easy to put together. Practical to use. Easy to move around. Well made. Good price. Delivery was before the expected time so don’t rely totally on the original time given .

Just put this together had a try of it but not done a proper workout yet but it feels very sturdy, dest very comfortable. Easy to assemble with straight forward instructions. Well worth the price.
Bike was really easy to build and is a brilliant size for an apartment. Using it is enjoyable apart from the seat. After using it once my backside was very sore. I have ordered a cushioned cover for it so hoping that helps other than that I would defo recommend i

This Ativafit exercise bike has a broad and comfortable seat, the back rest is such a welcomed addition plus the hand grips. The display gives large numbers and is uncomplex to set required setting.
Easy to mount and dismount, well, not that cumbersome. Guess it depends how long ones legs are.
The resistant elastic bands are ok and have some good effect. The cycle resistance goes up to a not overly challenging level where the heart beats faster and harder and the legs really feel the effort.
Stable, sturdy and fun to ride; making exercising a pleasure. Agreeable price too.

I wasn’t sure if this would be firm on the ground being foldable but it’s very sturdy and solid. The wide soft seat is very comfortable. Easily assembled too. Only had it a week but very pleased with it. A good purchase.
a far better product than i was expecting, yeah sure some of the tolerances aren’t amazing, but overall excellent value for money. Very study, no snags on the metal, nice finish, comfy seat, magnetic resistance is reasonably smooth. cant complain at the price.

Bought this bike few weeks back. The assembly was not difficult but the instructions could have been clearer. Takes very little space, great for home. Have been using this regularly, love it.
Couldnt be happier … adjustable height, fold down back rest when not in use, i bought it as it could fold up to save space when not in use, but its not big anyway so i leave it up all the time. Other bikes ive tried in the past are so big and clunky but not this one! … the rope hand pulls are a great bonus … i am so pleased with my purchase.
As someone else in the reviews mentioned, you also need to be careful with the handlebars so that you don’t screw through the wires for the monitor.
The bike itself seems pretty sturdy. My only minor complaint it that I’m 5’9″ and at the bike’s highest level, it’s only just about okay to ride — if I could get another inch or two in height, it would be perfect. Of course, every body is different, but I do suspect that anyone taller than me or with particularly long legs might not find this a comfortable fit.
After having this bike for a week, I know for sure that it is not for me, however this does not stop me to give it 5 starts for what it is. This is a sturdy little leisure bike. Good for pedalling in front of to, instead of loosing muscles on the couch.
Solid build, folds easily, does not take much space and does not look too sporty in the living room. Very wide, padded and comfortable seat, maybe even too much?
Why not for me?
1. The seat it way too wide for a proper cycling. Good for leisure.
2. Pedals are in front of the bike, more under your hands, not under the hips, so again, only for a seated leisure cycling.
3. This bike is more suitable for short people (we are 168cm and 171cm and it is just right on the tallest seat setting). For taller than around 173cm people (depends how long your legs are) this bike will not be fully comfortable, unless you do not mind bending your knees. Personally I think that you are not supposed to cycle on constantly bent knees. The leg should be straight when reaching further away.
It’s easy to move around. Great to go on and off. I’m not entirely convinced the calories or miles traveled are accurate. But it’s a good guide. It’s good for both men and woman. However depending on strength and overall fitness I’d play about more with the resistance settings. Happy with purchase especially considering the price.
Compared to other (more expensive) exercise bikes, this is a great alternative. Easy to install and a great product for a casual home rider. I do 3 hours a week or so on it and no issues, easy to set up and fold away. Fantastic product.
Overall, very pleased with this bike. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and strong it is. It came with most of the bolts, etc, in the place where they should go once fully assembled. Assembly was therefore very quick and easy. The saddle is very comfortable and the action of the machine is very smooth. I enjoy working out on it. The only thing that stopped me giving it an overall 5 stars is that, at 6 feet tall, my knees only just miss hitting the handlebar when I’m pedalling. It could have done with an extra couple of holes in the seat post to make that better. (So, I would not recommend it to anyone over 6 feet tall) Otherwise, I do recommend this bike.

I looked at what seemed like hundreds of exercise bikes before selecting the Ativafit, and I have been very pleased with it.
It arrived very well packaged and assembly was easy, taking about 15 minutes. There are only about 10 components and the nuts and bolts for each item are already in place on it, so just step through the picture instructions loosening the bolts from the item and then fixing it in place – great idea (no little bags of nuts and bolts). Instructions are good and if needed, there are several YouTube clips that show you how to assemble it.
The bike itself is very stable and the operation when pedalling is smooth – no wobble or other movements on the bike itself – its rock solid. With smooth rotation of the pedals, it is almost silent in use with just a whisper as you pedal. Tension is adjusted on a scale dial between 1 (very light) and 8 (reasonably firm).
The seat is comfortable and can be adjusted for height. The back rest and side handles are great as you can sit back and rest whilst your legs keep going. The addition of the resistance handles on the main strut is great too – not too tight to pull and gives a general level of effort for arms at the same time.
The computer is basic but has speed, time, cals, distance, total distance etc., can display in kilometres and miles and will check your pulse too if wanted – all very easy.
This is an excellent exercise bike at a great price. Highly recommended.

Amazing price for this exercise bike. I managed to get this for just a bit over 100. You would be lucky to get a second hand one for that price and you would have to pick it up yourself. Quality wise it is excellent. Good resistance and gives you a good home workout. You can do longer more gentle sessions or fast and high intensity short bursts. It sits sturdy on stable on the floor with no movement when using this.
Highly recommended for home use.

I love this bike which I bought to replace an old defunct one. The cross training aspect with the handles is great. Easy to assemble and use. I don’t fold it away, but it’s great to know I can if required.

I use my bike every day for 30 minutes. I know my back and leg muscles have improved after using the bike for just two months. A consultant advised me to do more exercise and he recommended me to cycle to avoid serious back surgery! Exercise does certainly help. Great purchase.

The product was relatively easy to assemble to the point where you don’t need the instructions too much. Some of the screws already in the frame were difficult to remove though.

After puting bit weight needed some exercise equipment, this one was ideal to my needs as it’s not bulk and heavy item, it’s foldable and can move around easily.
Also when not used I can light and close it which becomes quite narrow and doesn’t take much storage space.
It accommodates upto around 24 stones which equivalent to around 150kg.
Bike has magnetic resistance which makes it quite and easy to use even when watching tv, noise low so not interfering with tv.
Overall nice space saving bike .
I am probably a bit too tall for it at 6’1 but it gives a good workout, albeit I can only use for a short amount of time. It folds away easily and is very easy to set up. Great for a small garage gym or for use in the home.

Excellent buy. The bike is smooth to ride, no noise and the resistrance levels provide a good workout for both my wife and I who are both in our 60s and wanted to gain a good level of exercisewhen it is not possible to do so outside due to the weather. The back rest and handles are a useful addition and both the back rest and seat are comfortable when exercising. The display is also good enabling us to monitor heart rate, speed and distance. My only slight criticism is that the displayis not that easy to see especially the designation at the bottom. It would therefore benefit from a back light or more bold display.
I was looking for an excercise bike that wouldn’t take up loads of space in my house .. I have tested quite alot of bikes over the years and the fold up ones always seemed flimsy … even brand name bikes …
This however absolutely fitted the bill! Its really strong and I’m quite heavy so if it can hold me then it can hold anyone! I always feel pretty comfy when I’m on it.
Easy to carry .. the box is heavy but once it’s assembled it’s pretty impressive. Nicely padded seat … a good height .. easy to pop together …

Simple to assemble, sturdy and easy to move and put away. Adjustable tension is a good range. Only initial problem, the exercise bike made an intermittent knocking noise when pedalling over the first few weeks. This stopped and the exercise bike now runs smoothly and quietly. Seemed to be a ‘running in’ issue. Did raise as a problem with the supplier but after an initial ‘we will look into it’ they never came back to me (hence only the 4 star overall rating). Having said that it now works well and is value for money.
Assembly was very easy and it folds flat enough to lean safely against the wall. I am a bit concerned that after a couple of weeks of fairly light use, it now makes a ‘clunk’ noise every rotation of the pedals. Tried re-tightening all the fittings but has no effect. Also it is annoying that the only way to reset the odometer is by removing the batteries for a couple of minutes.
Other than the above, I’m quite happy with this.

Good quality upright and recumbent bike, folds extra tight if using the screw to hold the folded position. Looks good and very smooth to use. Works when peddled forwards and backwards. The handle pulleys have a good and strong amount of resistance. The bike has light to moderate magnetic resistance. The seat post does not extend as far as some may like. I have 31″ inside leg, and like to have the seat pretty high when pedaling. To overcome the very slight shortfall, sitting on a small pillow works great. Would recommend to anyone who does little or infrequent cycling, definitely a better bike for the price range.
It is ok for a home where you need to store it away. Folds up nicely against a wall with a small footprint. Gives telemetry on your session. Seat is uncomfortable after about 15 mins but the only real niggle is that I am a 5ft 8in woman with a 32 in inside leg and unfortunately the seat doesn’t quite go high enough for my comfort.

Assembly looks daunting at first but it’s easier than you think because most of the bolts etc are already in place.
Bike is quite heavy – I managed to get it up my stairs alone but ideally I think you’d want 2 people.
It feels sturdy enough when on it, and runs very quietly. Seat could do with being a bit comfier which would enable longer rides.

I almost bought another bike but switch to this one instead at the very last minute. And I am so glad that I did that. This bike is similar in many ways to other exercise bikes in the market. But because of a few features, I found it a better choice. First of all, it is about 20 pounds cheaper than the bike I was considering. Secondly, it also takes up less space, about 10 cm shorter, and 5cm narrower, which is important for my small flat. Thirdly, it has embedded wheels that make moving it around a lot easier. And finally, it has a phone/pad holder under its monitor, which is a big plus as it makes long exercises a lot more bearable. Overall, a very nice study small bike, that is easy to put together and use.
Also the item is exactly looks same as pictures and simple to use, the seat is adjustable with back cushion, the LCD display is clear and useful. U can choose different mode, set the timer check this calories burnt. My dad weight is about 70kg, and he can’t do to fast so after half hour he has burnt 350 cal, mayb it is not too much but at least keep him doing exercises weekly. This bike also can be folded when not in use without taking up space.
Anyway hope below points to note when riding: 1Upper body should remain stable2 Naturally curved hands and back 3 Step on with your forefoot 4Pedal movement keeps circular.
I bought this to excise on when weather is too bad to go for walks. The instructions warn Before beginning any exercise program, consult your Doctor This is especially important for persons over the age of 35.
The bike is quite heavy weighing 43 lbs and stable. The assembly Instructions are clear and easy to follow just make sure you get the Front Stabiliser the right way round. it takes some effort to assemble due to the weight but should be easy for persons young and fit or with help. I am 81 and had to take several breaks.
Once assembled it is easy to use but need to start off doing short exercises gradually increasing each time as it can be somewhat exhausting. I like the monitor which indicates the time you have been exercising, calories burnt, Speed, Distance, Pulse indicator. I also like the Elasticated straps for strengthening the arm muscles.
Large readout is a positive as is the iPhone holder. The manufacturer has clearly thought about the design and in the main has succeeded in producing a good quality product – but why oh why is the seat so uncomfortable? It is very wide and rock solid. I will no doubt be buying a gel cover. Don’t let this single criticism put you off, because overall it is a good product.

I overlooked that, and couldn’t figure out why the pedal wouldn’t go on. It was the last part of the assembly and I thought I’d have to send the whole thing back. Then I remembered the instructions – screw that pedal on anti-clockwise. Job done.
Everything’s adjustable, so if you’ve got long legs you’ll adjust it to that, likewise if you haven’t.
The seat’s more comfortable than the sofa or any other chair in my house! Very good lower back support.

The bike is easy to put together as most of it is pre-assembled, the seat is comfortable and it is simple to move between resistance. It is quiet during peddling and folds up nice and slim. The only possible issue would be for someone with long legs, I have the seat in the highest point and I am only 5′ 4″ tall. All said and done, good value for money for a basic level exercise bike.
Instructions could be clearer as certain items have nuts and bolts on them ie seats and pedals you just have to loosen them. Pedals and straps a little stiff but they do go in and stay in place just be sure to twiddle bolt at the end the right direction left anti-clockwise right clockwise and make sure seat bolts and washer are tight or you’ll have a wobbly seat.
But a comfy seat and it arrived ahead of delivery. Be careful with the pin that secures bike if pulled out bike folds rapidly fast and there is a warning on bike.
