I havent found it easy at all to skip with this. it’s almost too light, but i guess thats just my preference, but it alsways catches on my shoes and its really annoying. but if you like a super light skipping rope then this is the one for you
I bought ad a gift for someone who started mma training, so due to it being a gift I cannot leave a honest review on it, what I can say on first look is that it looks strong and sturdy not flimsy like others I’ve seen.
Is a good starter speedrope, easy to adjust the length of the rope and comes with a few backup rope holders incase they break. I have been using this rope for 2+ years and the rope only has minor scratches from using it on concrete.
As this rope is quite lightweight and thin, I am easily able to do double and triple jumps.
Would recommend to anyone that is trying to get better at skipping rope and also increase intensity.
Good quality item, but when adjusting for your height can be annoying with the extended parts of the rope which can interrupt workout. Would recommend to find a way to manage the excess or cut it off, but found cutting it was a bit difficult.
his rope is good if ya already know how to skip. if not like i dont ya need a heavy one to get the technique. either a thick pvc one or a beaded rope is best for newbys. however i did make use of the bag that comes with it. i filled it with dry rice and have it as a slip bag i can hang on my washing line and learn to slip inciming punches. might not last long but if stitchint starts to go ill wrap it in gaffer tape. (i wont be hitting it just slipping it)
once i learn to skip ill go back to this rope as ill have the knack then.
It’s a great skipping rope. Amazing value for money. It includes a rubber attachment making it suitable for outdoor use. It’s great for regular practice and comes with a bag so you can use it when travelling. The metal wiring inside is a great weight so it’s perfect for building up your speed. Although it can really hurt if you catch yourself on it so be careful if you’re not a great skipper.
Soo good I lost them and don’t know where is gone but rated 5 stars any way cause they where soon good they made me realise lazy is easier than having energy
I needed to adjust the length and it was easy. Rope seemed fast (in a good way) but I’m a beginner so can’t judge accurately. Tried 3x 2 mins in the sun and was gasping for air. 10/10 would wreck myself again.
he quickest way to lose weight and keep it off is skipping ,boxers are the main ones to use this cardio product.
Great skipping ripe even comes with a little bag to keep it i
I bought this skipping rope after joining a CrossFit gym and seeing everyone around me bringing their own ropes and doing far better than with the cheap plastic one I was borrowing.
The rope is easy to adjust, and the small metal fixings keep your adjusted length secure. The rope overall is well made, and comes with a handy storage bag. It is lightweight, thin but strong, and everything I expected.
I feel as though I can keep up with the rest of the gym now!
Very nice rope works well and feels sturdy would buy agai
I must say this skipping rope is very easy to use ,light weight and strong. I would buy agai
Amazing jump rope would highly recommend for beginners to try this jump rope.
Compact and highly portable addition to your CV routine. Adjustable length for all heights although I will have to find a way to deal with the excess. Probably just tape it to itself. Very light but at the same time heavy so there’s no flailing and you can easily “double under”. Full instruction book included.
Does what it says on the box. Best value (including shipping) that I could find in UK.
Not easy to adjust at the first time. But after you done it – very good. Comfortable to hold. Very speedy.
This rope is great but I wore through the protective sheath within a day of using it. If you want a speed rope, this is good, but if you’re very active and want something to last a while, keep looking
The rope is nice and does the job. It is ok for starter if you turn to be better the most convenient is buying a better one.
It is not strong enough for CrossFit, because when you are working out and throwing it you can broke it easily, not the rope but yes the plastics.
The product comes with a screw mechanism to ensure the right length. For some reason it just doesn’t hold the set length. Had the screwdriver out more times than I’d like to to keep fiddling with a skipping rope. Retiring this one and moving onto another.
I like this jump rope it makes me sweat…I bought this to add to a collection of different styles of skipping rope for a month long skipping challenge..I found it quite fast and it took me a while to get used to it but I really like it also having done a little research into the company behind this rope… it’s a small company run from a small garage not a big multi national company.. the rope is great quality and durability looks good … it’s as good as some of the much more expensive speed ropes I’ve used at the gym.. I’ll be back to try out one of the other rope styles from Beast soo
Handles are light and thin so very easy to hold. Being new to skipping it took several tries before I could adjust this rope to the correct length. A good set of pliers will get you a clean cut which is best if you have to fit the hard surface protector after cutting.
This rope is very light so the protector does add a little weight but you soon get used to it.
For the cost, this is not a bad rope, it’s easy to adjust and it’s durable. The handles are a bit small, I don’t have large hands and I found they didn’t really fit comfortably, and the whole thing is very, very light, so as a beginner it’s difficult to judge where the rope is. Once I get better at this, I’m sure it will be fine but for a beginner I’d say try something a little heavier.
Nice rope but I would expect for the remaining, once you hace adjusted to your height, to be cut off or otherwise the rope moves while you jump. Nice packaging and very light material.
Love this skipping rope. Light and easy to use.
The only fault I found with it was …. difficult to adjust to suit my height. I had to measure then use wire cutters to cut tosize.
It’s a skipping rope. Quality well made. Can be adjusted to length which is really handy as my kids use it also. Just a case of losses the screw adjust and re tighten. Simples.
Having cut my previous rope too short!! It was great to see that this rope was fully adjustable without having to commit to cutting the rope first. There were also spare adjustable collars and cable ends. Add to that a removable protective plastic sheath and a small carry case and it makes a very neat package.
In terms of use, the handles could do with being a bit heavier for me which is why I only give 4 stars. This may be unfair at this price point as my previous ropes have had more substantial weighted handles albeit at a higher cost.
It spins fine for my use (I am not skilled enough for tricks etc) I have been using it for HIIT as well as a pre-workout warm-up. It appears durable so far but only time will tell on full durability. I will be happy if it lasts a year.
It’s a good skipping rope but takes a bit of getting used to. The protective cover for the rope moves around alot which disrupts skipping…it would be better if the whole rope had a cover so you don’t have to keep adjusting it every time you skip. I had to use the extra screws to keep the handles inn place. The upside is the rope can be folded away and doesn’t get tangled or coil.
Having been using the equivalent of a child’s skipping rope for a while now, I looked all over for a speed rope until eventually I found this one. It seems that you can really pay A LOT for a good rope to begin learning double-unders, and do you really want to when you’re a.) doing it all at home as an amateur, and b.) quite possibly lacking the talent to perform a double-under in the first place? The answer is “no”. So, I was super pleased to find the Beast Rope, along with amazing reviews for it. Within a week of learning to do singles with a new product, I have officially got my first double (just the one)! SO PLEASED, and perhaps slightly amazed too. I can’t rate this rope highly enough for its quality, but also for the ease by which you can adjust it to the PERFECT length. It’s a great rope, and unless I become CrossFit Queen of the Known Universe any time soon (I won’t) I can’t see any reason why I should ever buy a different one! Even then, why change something that clearly works a treat? Great rope. Buy it.
UPDATE: More double-unders have followed 😀
I also want to add a few words about other reviews on here: all the ‘terrible’ and ‘waste of money’ reviews in particular.
Firstly, this rope is so inexpensive that if you do find it’s not for you, you haven’t spent very much to find that out.
Secondly, for all those people complaining that the excess rope is ‘annoying’, well cut it off! Find the right length, leave literally 4 or 5 inches in case you have made a mistake, secure the screw TIGHT so that its doesn’t slip, and away you go. This is what I’ve done. It’s perfect. I’m a beginner but this is hardly rocket science.
Thirdly, to those who think this rope is dangerous because they’re tripping over it (this really made me laugh): it’s you – not the rope. If you’re tripping, it means your skipping needs practice.
Fourthly, if you use it outside, find that it handles differently because it has the recommended (and supplied) protector on it, take off said protector, and then complain that the steel wire is starting to show because you have, er, taken off the protector: it’s you – not the rope. If you can’t use it with the protector on, go back inside and use it there instead.
Happy skipping 😀
My 1st speed rope and I like it. It spins with no problems, is light, is small and very cheaply made which might matter later but as of now (had it for few weeks) its working just fine. It is adjustable and thats a big plus for the price range.
You need to know its pretty thin and very light so in windy conditions it will struggle if u dont spin it super fast.
Overall im satisfied with the item at this price range.
This is a good product and comes as described, but I believe it is for advanced users and not for beginners.
It is a wire not a rope and therefore much lighter and faster so takes some getting used to.
It also has a nasty sting when making contact with the skin at full flow. I have a nasty whip mark on my arm and wrist, of course, partly caused by my lack of skipping skill.
All in all, for the serious “skipper”, this is a good product.
Aye aye.
I bought this product last week and was delivered to me 5 days ago. I have used this product 3 times now and on the 3rd I notice the print on the handle has already started to fade away. The rope is lighter than I expected but its fine once you get use to it. The handles are a bit skinny and may crack easily if you drop the rope during your exercise. Overall the rope is good and gets the job done.
I’m sure it’s a good skipping rope, but unless you’re used to this type, or willing to get used to it, avoid! They don’t move smoothly because of the way the rope is connected to the handles which means you can’t get into a rhythm.
And the metal rope is so so painful when it whips against your legs. I hate this personally, never used it again.
But if you specifically want this type of rope go for it.
Giving it a 4 because the rope itself is well made, and the designed could be poor or it could just be my personal preference.
Purchased: 03-Dec-19
Review Date: 16-Jun-20
Surfaces used: Paving Stone, gravel, gym studio flooring, tarmac.
Training Level: Training for a national team pushing for European Championship representation.
Weather used in: Sunny, Hot, Raining, Heavy Winds.
Used the rope 3-4 times/week for for the first 3 months and the last 2 months (since 18-Apr-20), I have used everyday on a paving stone surface. Each time used it follows a 21 minute interval rope routine with a mixture of double & triple jumps, single and double leg side to side, high knee speed skipping, boxer shuffles, normal skipping etc.
This rope has lasted the longest I have ever used. I typically bought plastic ropes which tend to last 2-3 months of continuous usage so went for this metal style one to see if it lasted longer which it has.
Downside (photos attached), is the plastic casing when using so much can burn away, causing the metal strands to fray and eventually snap in places leaving trailing pieces of metal which can hurt if you clip yourself aha. The fraying photo started after a couple of months use. The lose wires where they have snapped happened in today session so lasted a full 6 months.
BUT
It is…by far… the best rope I have purchased and used as it allows me to do proper speed skipping and is more durable than it’s plastic counterparts.
Bought this to keep fit during lockdown.
Both myself and boyfriend have used and it works well for what we wanted it for. Comes in bag as shown and has a rubber guard for use outside.
We have been using indoor and it’s great for cardio exercise!
Really easy to adjust – which is great as means my boyfriend and I can share. Also looks to be really good quality and have had no issues at all with it and had for about 2/3months now.
Only downside… when adjusted to use for myself (I am 5ft 2inches tall) the excess ends of the skipping rope that stick out from the handles are quite long When adjusted to the correct length for my height and they get in the way when skipping. I can hold the ends in my hand with the handles so it is not a huge issue but I would say for me it’s a small negative.
Good lightweight product. I think the actual ‘rope’ itself is made of a wire in a tube casing round it – extremely painful if you hit yourself as its quite a skinny jump rope. I manage to adjust the rope to my size according to instructions but then you have these elongated bits of rope hanging at the edge which are a bit distracting while you exercise. Nonetheless its giving me the lightweight benefits I was looking for.
I bought this rope in January, everyday I have been using it outside to skip in my garden (on concrete flags). The rope comes with a protective coating as well as a sleeve that goes over the rope for when skipping outside, after hours upon hours of skipping the protective sleeve has started to crack. I emailed Beast Gear and they have sent me a new rope out at no charge!
This rope has been the most durable rope I have ever used in my boxing career, with other ropes only lasting a couple of weeks. This rope is also so easy to use and has adjustment points to set the length yourself. It comes with spares and in a little bag which is super useful.
You can tell the ergonomics of their products are Beast Gear’s priority. I believe Beast Gear have got a customer for life and I can’t wait to try their other products!
Its lightweight easy to hold but I’m having a few problems with it myself as I use to use a thicker heavier rope and when I go to start with this rope it’s that light it doesn’t go evenly when i try to start my first jump. When I do get it going it’s a great rope but can be frustrating when starting.
First I bought this to take up skipping and it was a struggle at first but I got the hang of it. It is super advisable to cut the excess cable off as I found that depending on how you skip and as a beginner you are not consistent so the cable will move up and down from the handle so you will end up catching quite a lot.
At the time of writing the Aluminium version of these which cost 30 (There’s a sale on at 15 at time of writing) is soooooooo much better as I bought these and I wish I got them from the start. So skip these and buy the more expensive ones if you can, if not then these are still really good still.
Can’t complain, exactly what you’d want from a speed rope.
Easy to adjust.
I would recommend mainly for indoor use, when I started to use mine on concrete, the outer casing of the rope has split and wire is showing signs of wear.
As it’s very lightweight it’s easier to use and won’t help you build strength and stamina in your shoulders.
All in all good product, depending on what you’re looking for.
I hate skipping. The rope tangles, twists, shortens etc. Not any more!
I tried the Beast Wrist Straps and loved them, so figured I’d give their skipping rope a try. Super impressed. I’ve never been able to go over 100 skips before, as the lines would tangle, spin, snag, etc. As a result I hated skipping. This is like spreadable butter equivalent. Instead of ruining what you’re trying to do, it makes it better, feel good and really makes a huge difference to the experience. Granted it doesn’t taste like butter, but it’s blooming great at what it was made for.
Surprisingly easy to set up too. I now have an easy to use rope that will go and go and go, that is 100% my length, rolls beautifully, does not tangle or shorten, and is super lightweight. I am 100% happy to try more Beast Gear stuff.
Easy 100% recommended.
The rope is not for beginners as it doesn’t give you enough feedback and it will take you a while and a good amount of lashes before you become a proper user. The rubber protector also only last 6 sessions of 30 mins each, it broke into pieces after a bit of constant use, very disappointed. Beginners save some money and spend more on a heavier rope. Update: after emailing their customer service I received an immediate response, a new rope wast posted it and delivered within couple of days free of charge. Also an apology personalized card was sent by Ben who followed up all this with another email. I’m so impressed with the after sales customer service, it has been outstanding. It seems that I had a defective rope at the beginning but this one it’s ok so far. Thank you so much Be
Not for beginners. This is the most frustrating rope to learn on I can imagine. I cannot tell you how many times I nearly slung it in the sea!!! But once you can skip a bit this is a fantastic tool… I have started using a heavy rope for a five minute warm up followed by a set of tabatas using the beast rope and its speed really lets you beast it!!! It’s so light you can carry it anywhere and get yourself a boss workout.
I haven’t really started to use it as I am doing gym activities regularly 3 times a week. I have just ordered it as an alternative when I cannot go to the gym due to any reason but do something at home at least. It was too long for
me so I had to set the right length but than the outstanding parts just still staying at the handle which is quite disturbing when you jumping as you have to keep them with the handle together if you want to avoid that it would smash into your face. I wouldn’t like to cut the not needed parts…as might need later or loose the warranty on this product.
Also the protect gum is too short in my opinion and it is moving to the side during jumping. I thought it is a fixed part on a rope as I have chose an outdoor version of this rope but it is not.
I’m not one for writing reviews but I received such amazing customer service from this company I felt obligated. I lost the accessories to my purchase and so contacted the company to purchase them. To my surprise I was sent a brand new rope, free of charge. From a rope perspective it does take its time getting used to comoared to traditional ropes. The accompanying bag makes you want to push your self. And if you value speed it’s probably the best in the market. Definitely worth adding to your training arsenal.
I ordered this as part of my new years resolution to get fit. Unfortunately when it arrived there was a faulty part so wasn’t able to use it straight away (I contacted Beast Gear and it was sorted very promptly)
The skipping rope is great. It’s going to take some practice to get the speed up as whipping your legs with it is no fun but it’s well made and the protector part is very much needed as I’ll be skipping on concrete.
I look forward to seeing what benefits I get from this fitness/body wise.
Very disappointed with the product. Easily tangled when jumping with it, and a lot of excess length not needed creating inconvenience to have to go find myself wire scissors. Additionally spend the whole time jumping in fear because when the rope hits against your leg, it’s like being whipped. Won’t be buying again.
*After reviewing the product they contacted me, offered me a full refund and a free product from their collection. I have to say they really care about customer satisfaction and it is really refreshing. They also let me know that my problem with the rope may not be because the rope is good, just that a standard leather one may be more suited to me. I’m not a rope expert so I’m happy they put me in the right direction.
A very useful jump rope that allows you to get a good flow. I needed a rope that I didn’t have to force into motion to avoid placing too much stress on the shoulders and arms and this fits the bill. The one issue I have had is with the pins used for adjusting the length of the rope. A couple of times the pin has come off during the workout so maybe there is a need for a more secure fastening once the length has been adjusted. Apart form that, a good product which includes a useful bag to store the rope.
The item is lighter than I expected (as I am more used to the solid plastic ropes that tend to be a bit heavier) and I found it a little hard to make the change over to this speed rope, but this is just down to personal preference and my experience with heavier ropes.
However, as speed ropes go, this is a very good product – I have dabbled with a few speed ropes in the gym before. This speed rope is definitely better than the others I have tried in terms of how it feels to use.
I had an issue with my rope though, the threads on the screws used to lengthen and shorten the rope failed after a few uses.
Update:
I have since heard from the seller who has issued me a refund and confirmed the issue is down to a rare fault – I agree, sooner or later, when making a high volume of items, there will be the odd one with a fault.
That aside, I can’t fault the customer service at all. In fact, Ben at Beast Gear has gone way over and above what I would even consider excellent customer service, it’s obvious this company definitely cares about their customers and have easily provided the best post sale service I have received from any company to date.
I would definitely buy from this company again and have done in fact. Though they provided me with a full refund I have purchased the Beast Rope Pro!
I had previously reviewed the ropes believing my impressions of the ropes would be final after a week of use. After a week I thought I had made my mind to look for a refund but that soon changed. As I mainly skip outside I used the protector and initially found it to be troublesome as it kept shifting aside ending the skip. This sentiment was felt by others who used the ropes when I let them try it however over time the protector shifting became less of an issue when I gradually shifted the length of the rope to suit my needs as well as improve on technique. The seller, Ben, aided me greatly who kept checking in me and my use of the ropes to ensure I was satisfied.
The main reservation I had with the ropes was how long the protector would last as it was showing noticeable signs of wear but this was relieved once again with advice from Ben by using tape. I had now given a few layers of industry tape that is durable enough to withstand concrete and the tape could be easily replaced. The service I had received from Ben has been outstanding. I was offered a full refund and another product but felt it was not needed as I decided to keep the item since I was finding use with it however Ben went above and beyond, now I am more than satisfied with the product and customer service I had received.
I will be looking out for Beast Gear from now on to check what is part of their catalogue and for sure advise others to have a look if they are looking equipment that Ben can offer. I already have my eye on a few things I will be getting in the near future.
So, I decided one day to incorporate skipping into my programme to help my footwork for judo. It all seemed like a good plan. I bought the Beast Rope after reading sone of the positive reviews.
I can’t fault the kit much. Rope turns with minimal effort and is made out of a coated metal wire. Hand grips are very thin – I don’t know if this is good or bad, I was pretty indifferent about it. It’s remarkably simple to size the cord and the rope comes with a handy storage pouch and spares for the bolts and cable ends.
I am using an old and unloved tennis court to skip in, which is concrete, so I used the rope protector that came in the bag. This is actually a pain to use, not because of fitting it on but because you need to reset it centrally every time you restart skipping – as a total beginner, this is frequent!
I don’t know if skipping is better for you than running an 8 minute mile. As I am already easily able to run much faster miles than that, I personally found the running easier and the skipping harder on the muscles. I would recommend this product and skipping to anyone who wants to add a bit of variety to their training – but don’t expect it to be a smooth start.
I bought the Beast Rope after my Crossfit mates at The Gym recommended it and I’d seen theirs at work. It was delivered last week and I’m impressed with the presentation, strength, comfortable grips and ability to adjust the length. It comes in it’s own tote bag with instructions and a sleeve for the bottom of the rope that is supposed to protect it if you’re skipping on a outdoor surface, but the rope is recommended more for indoor work which is what I wanted it for. There’s a set of spare screw attachments in the bag as well.
I’ve found the rope to be fast, light, smooth and easy to get your rhythm going. Much much faster than the other ropes I’ve used before, giving you a different feel to your workout. I’ve beaten my double unders record over the last few days.
I read a lot of the reviews to check it out first and they were mostly good but there were a few negative ones – personally I think anyone with a problem should’ve contacted customer service as they are really good. I had a small issue with my order but Ben at Beast Gear sorted it out straight away. Being a bit quirky myself I also like the idea of supporting an independent UK sports company instead of a huge conglomerate. I’m pretty happy with this rope – it’s put a new oomph in my indoor training.
I only started including skipping into my workout routine a few months back, using a weighted leather rope, and so I am reviewing this product as someone who has already found their pace, and is now looking to take the next step in improving their skipping game.
I had reservations about the flexibility of the rope before purchasing, mainly because wire has a tendency to stiffen up dependant on the thickness, but this rope is supple yet strong and definitely does not have any limits on movement.
Transitioning from the weighted leather rope to the Beast Rope is still taking getting used to, especially with the weight of the handles. The Beast Rope is considerably lighter, but has more whip, so although it initially feels like you must have to work it harder for speed, you don’t. Saying that, I feel like changing from any rope to another will come with a slight adaption to technique, so this shouldn’t deter beginners from purchasing this rope.
One problem I had with the leather rope was tangling and occasional twisting when doing crossovers, which I admit could also be down to operator error, but this doesn’t happen with the Beast Rope AT ALL. I think also that having the storage pouch and ability to coil the rope for storage prevents this from happening as the rope doesn’t have the opportunity to become misshapen.
I feel like there are plenty of other reviews on here that cover the product quality, so I won’t go into the details.
Overall I am very pleased with the Beast Rope, and would certainly recommend it to others.
Not too impressed with this skipping rope. The screw type silver adjustments fittings come loose and have to be tightened occasionally, and you must cut the wire off to make sure that there is no extra wire hanging loose from each end. There are much simpler adjustable methods out there, this skipping rope overcomplicates things.
On a positive note, the wire is of a good quality and weight and does allow for fast skipping. The skipping rope comes with a pouch and extra parts, which is a good touch. For the price I paid, I can live with the negatives, but I will be purchasing a different rope next time around.
Update 25/08/17: Highly recommended Beast Gear as a seller, great customer service experience. I bought the product from the company, but the product did not suit my needs (my own fault). Ben from Beast Gear reached out to me and offered a full refund. I declined the refund, as it was my own choice to by the product knowing it may not suit my needs, but I appreciated that Beast Gear took the time to offer a great customer service experience. Thanks guys.
Can’t really fault it for the price. Good rope but I’d wonder on the durability as the connector from the rope (Steel wire, coated in sort of rubber) to the hand is plastic.
You can skip with this outside by using the rubber shield that comes with the rope, but I noticed that this hinders the skipping motion. Best is to have a mat or strip of carpet.
FYI to anyone who is starting out in skipping is to start slow. The skipping rope can whip the back of your legs if you are not careful.
Overall, for the price, it’s worth the money.
If you want to include skipping into your workouts you need this rope.
Be warned, it looks tiny. But don’t don’t let that worry you:
– It plenty long enough
– the grips are good
– easy to adjust
– it’s solid and well made.
It’s made out of plastic coated wirey stuff, so if you don’ get on with the skipping you can use it to garotte your enemies.
It takes a while to get used to it – I had a plastic rope that wasn’t heavy enough,. Leather ropes are heavier and a bit easier I think. This feels a bit light on the first couple of spins, but it’s all about technique. You have to whip it with your wrists – once you master that it goes faster than I can! There’s a learning curve – be prepared to get bitten by the beast rope but it’s worth the investment.
I received a beast rope guide from Ben at Beast Gear – “WTF – Instructions for skipping!” I hear you cry! Well it’s worth reading as it gives you some good tips about how to use and look after the rope plus a discount voucher.
Also the after care was great – they really seem to want to provide good service. In fact, I was moderately scared that they would come to my house and make me do press-ups until I completed a review.
So, yes – buy it, practice and become a double under beast!
My girlfriend bought me this skipping rope because I’ve been looking for new ways to improve my fitness that I can do at home, or when travelling. I previously bought a cheaper rope, but it fell to pieces quickly.
This rope has been great. It’s much lighter than other ropes I’ve used because of the steel cable (which is covered by a plastic protection), so it’s easier to use. And because the cable is so thin, I find I don’t trip as much. It’s certainly very fast and smooth — which is great because I found it easy to get into a rhythm at the start, and as I have been building up speed it’s been easy to get up to a high level and stay there.
Adjusting the length is a piece of cake. You just move the screws by hand and tighten. If you want you can cut the length, and then put the plastic caps back on the end. I haven’t done this because I share it with my gym buddy and we can just adjust the length quickly to suit each of us, that’s a great aspect.
The bag is good because a) it’s got a really badass logo and b) I can put the rope back in easily and store it in my gym bag or luggage. Perfect.
I would have to say there are no downsides to this skipping rope. After a week of using it I can say that my WOD times have improved, my coordination is better and my footwork in my MMA classes has improved
Overall this gets 5 stars for:
Easy adjustment
Lightweight and fast
High quality materials
Cool logo
As someone that works with athletes in the fitness industry, I was looking to purchase a new skipping rope for my speed circuit sessions… I own two speed ropes for my own leisure at home which I attempted to use with my players, however I was advised by a friend to look at this product which comes with a fully Adjustable Cable. The adjustable cable is a great component as the rope can be tailored to all players different heights and sizes making the rope the most efficient comfortable rope i have purchased. Along with this amazing component, from a performance perspective, the rope is very light and comes with an impressive ball bearing mechanism which is Ideal for double Unders. I was fortunate enough to get a discount off this product, however this has not changed my opinion on the greatness of this product and I will now be advising my team to purchase more of these ropes in bulk, thus making this product one of our most valued speed products. Although my review is based mainly from a coaches perspective, I would like to mention that I would recommend this rope to anyone from a beginners level to an advanced level as the rope is easy to use and gets great results, thus making skipping a fun rewarding activity. I hope my review helps anyone who may be unfamiliar with skipping ropes get a better insight into what I believe to be the best rope on the market.
