Used a few of these on sites where we need a real good multi H265 environment and this does smash it whereas all we could previously use was high end i5> Intel NUCs.
As they NUCs have started to fail we have started using these and they are faultlessly powerful for a massive cost saving
I needed to replace and upgrade my wife’s PC, the reviews I had read were enough to get me to order this one, arrived next day, connected up, powered up then the usual Microsoft Windows set up routine followed, it came with Windows 11 pre installed, within half an hour all set up and put to use.
Pleasantly surprised by its performance, I have now added a SSD drive, again easy to do and everything needed (except the SSD) was provided.
Would I buy again, yes most certainly, perfect for home use, I cant comment on game functionality as that’s something we don’t need.
My one and only criticism is the 3.5mm jack for external speakers is right next to the power switch, it would be better on the opposite side adjacent to the power connectors etc.
But its still worth 5 stars.
This is my 2nd SEI purchase; I use mine continually daily for general home/office and this is for a friend to replace an ageing Tower on my recommendation. It is well boxed and presented with a few useful accessories. Just plug in keyboards, mouse and monitor and away it goes. Silent in operation except momentarily when working hard. An adequate number of ports and connectors. Some of the reviews say this PC this has a micro-Sd port but mine doesn’t I think reviews for different machines with the same case are printed together. the PC just works – I would compare it to a Mac m1 frankly only much better value. It could have a heavier base as it slides about quite easily but you can mount it on the back of the monitor. Everything else is Windows really. Mine was delivered with Win 10 which I upgraded to 11, I did contact Bee-Link support as I was nt sure about the current Win11 update process and they answered promptly but in the meantime the option to upgrade had become available in settings. I think any general user would be impressed by this PC.
I have had this product for almost two weeks now. Delivery was prompt, arriving 2-3 days after order and within the expected delivery estimate. The device was well packaged and all expected accessories were present.
The device I received was running Win11 Pro already installed and activated. Setup was straight forward, I have it connected to 2 x 24inch monitors. On board Wi-fi connected with no problems. On initial checks there was a persistent WHEA error. I was able to make contact with customer support quite easily via both their online forum and via direct e-mail. Support was prompt, helpful, requested relevant info for their tech dept, and remained engaged throughout. Fortunately it was an issue I was able to solve myself.
It is quite a powerful little device despite being 8th Gen processor. I use this device mainly for web browsing and light office work, which it performs with relative ease.
My one concern relates to the screen shot attached, I find this device runs quite hot even at very low levels of processor utilization. Speaking with their support, they assure me that it is considered Io normal below 85C I personally consider this to be quite hot and wonder about longevity at such a temp. Even my laptop sits comfortably around 48 – 55C at this level of activity. Despite the high temp fan noise is not overly intrusive, to the point that I wonder if they have set fans low in response to complaints I have seen about noise. Other than this I have no complaints so far.

I added a 1tb ssd, upped the ram to 16gb with an 8gb sodimm, and installed Ubuntu alongside windows to make it a dual boot system. It was a doddle. The performance has been flawless, with Linux I have been running a software defined radio under gnu radio with 20MHz bandwidth and multiple concurrent ffts and have not had a single overrun.
I love this little machine.

My previous mini PC kept freezing and became unreliable.
Looked at the BeeLink and ordered the I5 with 16GB. Delivery was
quick. I contacted BeeLink regarding minor cosmetic scratches on
the case. I can’t praise BeeLinks customer services enough. They
arranged a replacement case sent to me.
CS kept me regularly informed at each stage of sending me the case.
Once again, thanks to BeeLink customer services for a fantastic
customer experience.
The Mini PC was very easy to boot and set up Windows. I have been
using the Mini PC for several weeks and I’m extremely please with
the performance, this is a great piece of kit. Even during heavy load,
I barely noticed the fan switching on and off.
Hardware and customer support highly recommended.

so far I’m really happy with it. works really well as a media player (mainly music).
it did come with win 11 installed, so that is also a bonus
I bought this for my dad who does have some technical ability / experience.
The reason I bought this was to replace a laptop he had and as a device he could take with him. I had looked at a laptop instead, but my dad likes to drop laptops as he walks and watches… so reason 1 as to why I went with it.
As he still had to take it about with him when he travels, it had to be light, have enough processing power and memory (reason 2 + 3). He already had an external drive, so the storage capacity wasn’t as important, although the discovery after purchase that it could contain a 2.5 drive without removing the m.2 was a great boon.
Every reason I bought this has sufficiently been accomplished. I connected to it and setup a whole bunch of software via its wireless. The responsiveness of the device was better than I was expecting and the connection speed of the wifi meant I saw no pixelation while connected.
The 2.5 drive easy enough to install, just remove the bottom and it slots in on the bottom.
All in all it is a great purchase.
Good spec, very fast for normal office work and coding. Adequate for gaming, eg. CSGO runs very well. Small enough to be fitted to the back of a monitor with the supplied mounting mechanism. Plenty of USB 3 ports for external devices. Gigabit Ethernet port for very fast LAN connection as well as 5GHz WLAN.

Great bit of kit, easy to hide on the desktop or screed into the vesa slots on the back of a monitor. Not used for any gaming and no need for the fingerprint scanner but everything so far has been excellent.
Only a few weeks old so we will see how long it lasts but so far I’ve been very happy with it.

Over the years I have gone from big tower desktops to all in one PC’s but my last all in one lasted only 2 years. Do I buy a laptop instead? But then I saw this tiny PC which is every bit as powerful and fully featured as the old big tower units but in a lovely compact format that takes up no room at all. I have a large screen TV which I have screwed this tiny Pc to the back of and its invisible. Coupled with a wireless keyboard and mouse it makes a brilliant all round internet and entertainment system. Very easy to upgrade should you wish to do it and it has a fan to keep it cool but its very quiet and as its behind the TV you cant hear it. Brilliant 4K graphics and great sound. The Tiny PC is connected to the TV by HDMI lead, and with the wireless keyboard and mouse I can operate the computer from anywhere in the room. No messy leads and with the PC fastened to the back of the TV with the supplied VESA bracket it just looks like a normal TV. No more bulky tower with loads of leads running to and from it. Its neat, tidy, fast and powerful. It comes with Windows 10 Pro already installed and the only thing I have to decide is do I stay with Win 10 Pro or take the automatic upgrade to Windows 11. I bought this PC when it was sold as a deal price at 415 and the next day it went back up to 509 so got it at the right time. Very happy with the unit and well worth what I paid or at the greater price.
Needed to upgrade a 2nd PC and this has done the job in spades..!
Fantastic box of tricks that hopefully will be pretty future-proof.
Having the 3.5mm ‘Aux Out’ next to the On/Off button could be a bit of a nuisance if not using the 100×100 mount and locating the box on a desk top (the jack-plug sticks out the front of the box in that case.!!), but most people would not be put off by this.
This is a review for the Beelink Mini PC SEI8 Windows 10 Pro,8th Gen Intel i5-8279U (Up to 3.8GHz) 8GB DDR4 256GB. I mention this because amazon bundles reviews for different products together so do check this review is for the product you are interested in.
I bought this to run my astrophotography rig and it does this without issue. I did upgrade RAM to 16GB and add a second SSD for storage but I suspect it would have run fine with just the 8GB RAM.
It is not as powerful as a full size desktop, as is expected, be but benchmark scores are much better than I was getting with two cheap laptops ( a top end i3 and mid-range i5).
I am very happy with performance in general but haven’t tried to run games or high quality video on it.
The support I have received has been fantastic, quick responses to questions and when I broke a ribbon cable clip when installing the SSD (my fault) they sent me a replacement out FOC from China – impressive.

It uses a pretty good laptop-grade processor, which gives a great balance of raw power vs. energy efficiency for my needs, and is very quiet too.
I’m running Debian operating system on it, which installed without any driver issues; everything about the hardware is very standard, and fully supported.
It has a couple of good features for a mini server; firstly, it can be set to automatically restart if it loses power, and secondly, it happy works ‘headless’ (ie. with no monitor or keyboard connected).
Very much smaller than my existing desktop. Totally silent when idling, gets a bit noisier when the fan spins up, but not badly.
Good selection of I/O with 4 USB-3, one USB-C, two HDMI, 3.5mm audio, ethernet.
Useful amount of RAM/storage although I also fitted the recommended 2TB SDD which was very straight forward.
There is no SD card reader on this version so bear in mind if you need one.
Is capable of Win11 upgrade and works fine.

I wasn’t really expecting much from this, but the specs were perfect for what I wanted it for. A small pc for playing music, films, internet etc. I began compiling Gentoo and this just lapped it up. Compiling everything from source was a testament to it’s stability. A full Gnome3 desktop in all its glory, plus it’s connected to a Samsung G95 49″ screen. Love this!

A very nice mini pc ,really quick love it to bits everything works really fast , it has replaced another mini pc that was like an old donkey compared to this new Beelink mini pc .
Not useing for gaming so can not coment on that but everything else is just what I wanted speed wise
Super fast, mainly silent, tiny, loads of connections and elegant too. Perfect tiny PC with great performance.
I added a 1tb hdd, which was supereasy to insert as everything was ready to receive it.
It is fast and powerful enough to do plenty multitasking. I haven’t done any gaming, but for working from home it’s going to be all you need.
Now 4 months on, I had an issue that caused a windows blue screen error and the computer was totally blocked. Via Amazon I got into touch with the Beelink people who helped me to download a new installation and a manual how to install it via creating a USB installation stick. Of course this erases all data and programmes, but I had it backed up in the cloud (phew). The new installation worked immediately and it was a painless process. Within two and a half days I’m up and running again. Both Beelink and Amazon staff were very helpful and friendly.
It’s a pity this occurred, but that’s part of computers. It was solved smoothly, that counts.

This is a fantastic find, takes up very little space computer starts up quickly, much better than usual routers
he desktop takes up very little desk space and matches easily my more expensive laptops
A vert powerful TINY DESK TOP which worked out of the box. It’s amazing!
As a hobby, and also a means of secondary income, I trade Forex. For the past two years I had invested around 15 per month renting out a VPS based in France. But the constant lag, downtime on occassion at weekends and even a case of cryptojacking(!!) has caused me to seek an on premise solution. Having being priced out of purchasing similar specification Mini PCs for well-known brands, I chose this one based on good reviews both on Amazon and on YouTube.
I am very impressed with the PC. It is almost completely silent. Sometimes I forget that it is on! It also doesn’t run at all hot. For what I need (running programmes which automatically trade currencies), it works better than the off-premise VPS solution which I previously used. Even with 3 sets of terminals containing 6 trading windows (18 programs) runs smoothly with this and the temperature of the running processor stays low. I even attempted to benchmark it and it acheived a high score overall. When the benchmark test attempted to overload the CPU the fan still stayed relatively quiet.
Overall, the spec is very good and the variety of ports provided will allow many peripherals to be connected to it and instantly work. Setting it up was easy with the already included Windows 10. In fact, I was up and running in 10 mins.
I use a smart plug with a schedule with this so that it always stays on during 5 solid days of trading, with 2 days of downtime over the weekend. In doing this over the past few weeks I have had no issues with it at all – and I am glad to have picked it up and will happily recommend this to anybody. Given the amount of RAM included (16GB) I have effectively taken out two other mini PCs with 4GB RAM each and not only improved, but also future-proofed my setup for the long term.

Ok so I bought this Beelink Mini PC to go in my new office set up. I wanted a dual screen set up so needed a PC that could work with dual screen and also not take up much space.
This Mini PC is very powerful thanks to the 16GB DDR4 RAM and the 8th gen Intel i5 processor. It can handle everything I want which is mainly, video watching, web browsing, video editing , the odd game here and there (light games only).
It has all the connection options I want like USB 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0, Micro SD card slot. It is also extremely quiet while running. The fan kicks in when you are doing heavier tasks but even then the Beelink Mini PC runs very quiet and does not disturb video watching or game playing.
I also like how it has a bracket included so you can attach it to the back of your monitor or TV so it can be completely hidden away.
This is a really nice Mini Pc that works for me and so far I have had zero issues with it and it updates as it should when needed.
So for the following reasons I am going to give it 5 stars:
Small size
Looks great
Runs extremely quiet and cool
Handles dual screen very well
It’s very fast
Has good storage expansion options
Has Good connectivity options
Huge specs to start with, the unit is extremely small but the heat sinks and the fan keeps all cool even on heavy load. There’s few good reviews about it but I would like to describe my use of it to show how powerful it actually is. I’m running few very demanding programs on it so someone may find it helpful. I run blue iris with 6 cameras and live night view consumes only 20% of Cpu which is remarkable to be honest. Additionally I run plex server, comics ebook server, nas server, docker and few other smaller programs. When everything is going the Cpu gets max to 80% of use occasionally hitting 100% for slit of the second, ram is on about 30 – 40% max. Fan on full power does not really bother me at all. Generally if you are looking for very capable small unit this is one to buy, I use it for very heavy cpu stuff but it will be fantastic for the office pc as well. Really well build with compatible hardware which delivers very good results. Great little unit for me, would definitely buy again.
In the past my work IT department always dealt with equipment, but with us all working from home I needed to source my own equipment. Not being particularly technical I had barely heard of a mini PC, but was assured by the teenager that this was definitely the way forward. I have since realised that this is because he has his eye on it for once I’m back in the office!
Have to say I am really surprised at quite how small it is – photos with the book for comparison. When I saw the box I was impressed with the size, but once I opened it I realised half of the room was taken up with accessories and it’s even smaller! It’s absolutely perfect for my tiny improvised office space, used with a wireless mouse and keyboard it’s really easy to just pop them in a drawer and repurpose the desk space when another family member needs it.
Set up was quick and simple (very easy to follow instructions), and coming with Windows 10 Pro already installed was a bonus. The Intel i5-8259U processor is very fast and provides more processing power than I know how to use, the 16GB of RAM ensures the computer is always running at it’s fastest and the 512GB SSD gives super fast data read and write times that combined with the fast processor and large RAM make this mini PC an absolute delight.
I also love how quiet it is, with my low intensity use the machine is absolutely silent. No distracting fan noises or buzzing or anything.
