Very nice in appearance, light-weight and perfectly fits with the click-clack sofa that has no arm- or backrest on the sides.
Only I don’t feel too sure that a person who is quite a bit taller or heavier than myself will have a VERY solid support. For me it is fine. I wish the back-part of the chair was higher – even though I am quite a short person, the support is for back only and not for the head. So, I wish it could be longer. On the overall, I would recommend it, even though slightly on the pricey side.
I’ve redone my room to a minimalist look and this is amazing its nice and comfortable. Playing games too is awesome
Nice folding seat, works well on top of a bench as a makeshift office chair and is space-saving as it can be folded out flat and put away. Pretty comfortable and sturdy and looks stylish.

Bought to give our living room extra seating. Use it as an occasional chair and for gaming. Really comfy for a couple of hours, tucks away neatly. You do need to keep legs extended though to counter balance or you’ll quickly end up on back staring at the ceiling. We love it though, kids do too.
I’ve only had this floor chair for a couple of days so I can’t say anything about long term durability but it arrived in good condition. I’m using a low desk for a temporary home office, and was getting a backache sitting on a cushion with my back against the wall. This floor chair has improved the situation a lot already. The material is actually pretty good for a hard floor, it’s warm and comfortable and doesn’t slide around. I’m quite hefty shall we say, even so with the back slightly reclined, it seems sturdy enough to support me. I won’t be pushing my luck though.
I have bought two of these chairs for use on deck on a boat, they’re lightweight but so very comfortable and the self supporting design means I can use them in the cockpit or anywhere on deck.
The quality seems excellent, sturdy and well made, the soft fabric is is lovely and adds a bit of luxury compared to the old cockpit cushions I used to have. I have recommended them to several other friends living in boats too.
Lovely chair easy to store too can’t sit for long periods as I can really feel the steel frame on my bottom and I have a lower back problems but it does support my posture just good for an hour or so to sit not recommended for longer periods as I’ve been using it to work from home from.
Honestly an amazing buy, worth the money over cheaper makes.

Really super comfy chairs. I’ve used them on my boat instead of sitting on a box, I put the seats on the box and it’s so much nicer. Fold flat so can live in the box. Quite bulky to store but have lasted well. I bought them 3 years ago and have used them a lot during summers.
I bought the BonVivo floor chair to perch on the end of my bed, as I have a small bedroom and wanted to turn it into somewhat of an office. This chair is a good height, gives good back support, and is a lot more comfortable than I expected – as I suffer from chronic backache as a result of being in an accident years ago. Excellent product, I highly recommend!

I’m quite a slim guy and I’ve got a floor seated set up in my study. This adjustable chair fits nicely, doesn’t take up to much space, easily adjustable – I’ve often adjusted it so it’s flat and slept on it after reading a book sat up right. Only thing I’d be aware of seated cross legged for a long duration is to watch out for the knees. Best stand up every now and then to give your sweet knees and legs a stretch.

I do like the chair, it is good quality, although there are imperfections (such as asymmetry with the ‘head rest’) which are possibly due to a production line style manufacturing process where attention to detail is not given to each individual item.
The chair is not especially sturdy. The quality of the fabric is reasonable, but not great.
I would personally value the item at around 25 which is rather less than I paid for it.
I would suggest making the chair available in different colours, as I would have liked to couple the blue one with a second perhaps beige or green one. Perhaps there was an option to select colours, but I couldn’t find one.
I feel Amazon are in danger of focusing too little on quality. For instance, the clothing sold on Amazon can be very poor quality. Of course I appreciate the delivery speed, it is truly wonderful, but I am also concerned for the wellbeing of Amazon drivers and warehouse workers who I hope are receiving good pay and employment benefits.

Of all the gifts I bought for my husband’s Christmas, he loved this best! The ordered another on Christmas Day for my daughter who has back problems too. Our sofa is a bit soft , and thus support makes it ideal support for anyone with back ache. Threw a pretty fur throw over the top, and no one knows it’s there( except for my husband, smiling happily.

I got sick of sitting on the sofa, bed and straight up on the floor as I’ve been working from home for ages, so looked for a portable option that was comfortable. I’ve been using this a couple months now, and I’m genuinely surprised at how much I like it. It’s very comfortable, and surprisingly durable. The way I sit in, where only the corner (“angle”) bit is on the floor as I sit in it as it leans on something else – I’m pretty sure a lot of these chairs would snap or break but this chair is handling it like a boss.

If you have a low coffee table like me and want to have that Japanese tatami sitting on the floor kinda feel, this are some pretty functional chairs that just works well. It’s been with me since last year and through Covid, and after extensive use, I’d totally recommend this. Comfy and classy looking.
I use it with a cushions for lower back support but this is my new working from home chair/ sitting in front of the fire chair, my partner steals it when he wants to sit on the floor or on the bed to work.
I’m really impressed by the build, it’s really easy to use but really strong.
when sitting cross legged, my knees hang off the side, so not maximum support. I wish they did a version twice as big.

Firstly arrived from Poland via UPS took a while even though it was supposed to be prime, the mid support is alright didn’t like it at first was gonna send it back, but after a while it grew on me, it is much more comfortable than sitting on the floor for long periods of time where you can feel back pain, overall im happy with it and has helped with my work productivity
I bought this partly for meditation and partly for working at my floor desk which I use daily. The positions are good, the slight recline would be better if it were slightly more upright and the ability to fold it flat in on itself would be great but having said that I just lay it flat and stand it against the wall when I’m not using it. I’m spending several hours a day using it so only time will tell how long the padding lasts. Overall I’m very happy with it though and the styling and fabric are very nice. Would recommend.
I like this chair a lot, it is perfect for when I want to sit on the floor. It could be abit small to taller people but it is good for me at 5’2″. Doesn’t break even when I lean back with it to rock, super sturdy and pretty comfortable.
For some reason my girlfriend seems to think this is my most prized possession, because I was so protective of this chair when we first started seeing each other. I now trust her enough to use the chair, and yes, it’s comfy AF.
Could do with a little more padding in it as after I have been sat on it for an hour or so i can feel the bars in the bottom of the chair and I end up with a numb bum. I have taken to sitting a cushion on it.

So like everyone else, I’m working from home these days. I don’t have a proper desk, just a little coffee table thing and I sit on the floor. But after a while it started to be a bit heavy on my back. To be honest, I didn’t expect that much from this cheap little floor chair but I was positively surprised by the build quality. This thing feels solid.
The fabric is surprisingly high quality, feels like a synthetic suede. It does get a bit hot but in Northern Ireland we barely get 10 days of sun so I think I’ll be quite grateful for this in the winter.
I would like the back to be even more upright – I’ll probably keep a little cushion behind my lower back to give it more of a support. The other thing is that if I sit in half lotus position, I can feel the front bar of the frame under my calf. I can’t feel it if I’m sitting legs straight though.
I’ve been using this for four months at the end of my bed. My bed is soft, so the chair rocks around a bit, but I can still lean back — but not exactly all the way back and put my feet on the desk. (Maybe I could if the bed was more firm.)
It takes quite a heavy load, I can put a lot of pressure on it and it takes it perfectly fine. Very glad I purchased.
Use this chair with back support as a base, and the shorter part as a back support. So you will be able to block it with your feet and to relax without head support (which makes you dizzy and tired).
The bad smell will be gone in one day!

bought this for my dad – and it has transformed his meditation practice. Comfortable. Narrow so you do need pillows under your knees but best on market I think. Easy to assemble with different reclining settings. Great for a meditator. Feels nice and is comfortable

I have my computer set up on a short table and my back started to hurt from just sitting on pillows. I bought this product to give my back support as well as finish my floor set up (floor gang)! This is super comfortable, basically a chair with no legs. You don’t fall back at all. There’s 5 settings and the product is really stable.
You even get a mini gift with the product as well if you choose to get it. It was also really nicely packaged. I was super impressed.
Bought as a ‘gaming chair’ for my son on the floor for hours. Brilliant as it goes flat for storage behind the sofas. I also use for jigsaws. Hubby sat outside on it with feet in the paddling pool too. Planning on adding to the camping equipment as well. Bought a second one as think they are great.
It’s a good product for short term seating. I bought this to use it as office chair which would need couple of hours seated which this cannot support. But if you are looking for something to sit for not more than an hour, I can recommend this.
Also, the seat can benefit with additional cusion. Backrest is fine but seat can have a bit more padding
After long period of time your cheeks will be sweating and the back pain gone but neck pain is introduced.
Note: I use this on my bed for working on the computer for a long period of time. This chair help a lot in term of back pain when leaning on a wall this chair is much better.
The chair is good, its comfortable and gives you great back support.
Personally I would prefer if the back was a bit longer to give head support as anything other than sitting upright would get uncomfortable on your neck after a while.

I originally purchased this floor seat well over 12 months ago. It fits the purpose well for me as a gaming seat close to the TV. But also is great as a floor seat for when family are round.
Fully adjustable and it flattens out for easy and simple storage.
After having the seat for over 12 months. I managed to break it due to a fault of my own.
I got in touch with Bonsato just for some advice on how to repair at. They ended up sending another one out to me as they stated the seat should last longer!

When I am using this chair I can concentrate on whatever it is I’m doing – in other words, the chair is suitably comfortable and supportive, and not distracting. I would recommend this.
Amazingly, this works! An affordable version of the cross legged chairs but with back support. Balances easily on top of a stool or box. Has turned our piano stool into a chair and makes sitting in the floor much easier for someone with bad back.
I ordered this a long time ago but its really come into its own these days as I have been working from home. I don’t have space for a full desk so have been sitting on this on the floor. The support is excellent and the back is sturdy so I don’t need to support it against a wall or anything.
I bought this chair because I wanted to sunbathe in the garden and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a sun lounger and then have to store it somewhere. This is perfect! It’s super comfortable, and the adjustment levels are great. I can happily sit up and read a book for hours or I can set it to a lower level, almost lying down but just having my head propped up a bit. It’s easy to store (mine slots nicely down the side of my fridge when not in use!). The only thing that would make it better is if it folded in half and had a handle. This would make it a bit more portable if you wanted to take it to the beach or an outdoor concert for example. However, I have just seen another chair the same as this for 5 more that does exactly that! So if I were to buy again, I would get that one! Worth every penny.
The mechanism that keeps the chair bent seems durable and the chair is quite comfortable. However, when sitting on this chair the barycenter will lay, as expected, a bit too close to the mechanism. Because the chair is quite light it is easy to flip backward or loose balance, also it slightly stresses the neck muscles, so it’s better to be careful when sitting on it for long periods.
I’ve been using this floor chair/back support for a few days now. It sits on top of a dining room chair so that I can work on my laptop at the dining table in comfort. So far it is working out well and I would recommend it for that reason. I haven’t used it for floor sitting as yet.
The bonVIVO chair arrived one day early than stated, which was a fantastic surprise. It is made of great outer material and very comfortable to sit on it. The cushion for the back support and the seat itself is really good material.

Bought because I’m 38 weeks pregnant and was looking for something to stop me slumping on the sofa. This seat is very versatile and helps me get up off the sofa easily. I can also turn it around and straddle it to lean forward on the backrest, a position my midwife says is good this stage of pregnancy. Once baby comes I plan to use it as a nursing backrest when I’m sitting out on the lawn. Feels very sturdy and is of good quality!
I used this product as soon as I got it out of the packaging. I ended up sat on it for about 4 hours, on the floor. It was quite comfy at first, but as I slouched it became less so. In particular, in the centre of the back of the product, I found that there wasn’t much support. I also found the material on the seat to be a little too warm – the fabric isn’t very breathable.
HOWEVER, it was much better than what I was doing before, (resting a pillow against a dresser and sitting on another pillow), and it folds flat so I can store it under my bed. I’d buy it again. It also came with pretty clear instructions, and the packaging was excellent. Certainly feels like good value for money.
I bought this as I wanted something cosy and easy for my patio without going all out an armchair or sun lounger. I liked the idea that it was adjustable and that the outer layer could be taken off to wash. I’ve used this a few times, either on my living room floor for meditation in the upright position, or taken it out on my patio for a cosy little place to read/work. I’ve very pleased with this purchase, it’s handy to use and store, looks good, and is very comfy.
What I noticed is when you have it in the position just before the 90 degree, you can’t sit on it with your feet on the ground and your knees up as it will tip back, but this is a minor inconvenience and can be fixed by either keeping the legs down or making sure there is something behind it.
Bought these to use on a garden bench and absolutely delighted with them. Very comfortable, easy to use and to store and can be used in many situations. Delivery was quick and arrived on date promised.

There aren’t many of these adjustable floor seats so was happy when I found this. There’s enough padding in the sear and back and is comfortable. I’ve seen some reviews that say its not padded enough but I think thats because they’re using it for meditation for long periods of time.
The back adjusts in multiple positions so you can sit up straight or really recline.
The material is a faux suede type and the cover isnt washable which is annoying because I’ve had a few spillages already…
3 months into using this chair, something snapped in the seat. It felt like the material stretched across the frame had ripped. It hasnt made a huge difference and we can still use the chair but we can feel less padding in the seat now.
We are a retreat centre and were looking for something that was more comfortable and not as “squeaky” as backjacks. Because the backjacks worked out at about 75 I was a bit sceptical of these so I ordered just one and it arrived yesterday. So pleased with it I have just bought the remaining 13 we needed. I really like the fact that they fold flat and have the 5 different back settings although I have to say I cant see much use for positions 1 to 3. They look really stylish too. The dark blue material does show up the bits it seems to attract – I suppose I need to get a lint remover now.
I wanted a chair that I could use sitting on the floor for gaming watching tv or just chilling. I also suffer from back and neck pain so as you may know it is really frustrating finding a position that’s both comfortable and good for posture while sitting on the floor. This chair is my key. I recommend it.
This product is fantastic. I suffer with Sciatica & I find most chairs & seating positions extremely painful & uncomfortable. I use this whilst playing video games or if we’ve got company & I can sit on it for protracted periods of time without it aggravating my condition. In fact after long sessions I’ve found it alleviates a lot of the pain. My one criticism would be that I have to put a cushion on the part that you sit on as the padding is not quite thick enough.
I just got this today – I love it so much, I’m buying another. I use it for playing tabla, but also for sittjing comfortably by the fire to watch TV. I’m buying the one that folds up this time so I can happily have a comfy seat whenever I perform with tabla. Wonderful.

I put it on an older curved chair and it works fine – gives me some support at last. Although I would like more lumbar support.
Very easy to store and sturdy chair to withstand day to day usage. i suggest to buy decent small table like MApux laptop table . Both are great together & compliment each other well. you can flat it and store very easily under bed or behind sofa. Good comfortable padding and different angle of back support is perfect. long hours of study now not an issue.

Comfortable seat and easy to store away. Being able to position the back at different angles is good. This is the second chair I’ve purchased. First one lasted around a year, the filling became flat and the frame broke but for the price, a year of use is reasonable. (Especially as the person using it can be quite heavy handed!)
I purchased this for my 5 year old to take to kindergarten to help him sit comfortably on the floor with the other kids (something he struggles with due to muscle tone issues). It’s easy to use and goes completely flat so can be easily stored against a wall or in a cupboard when not in use.
I’m very happy with my purchase – I’ve been sitting in places I never would’ve sat before.
– Just the right amount of cushion.
– Can stretch my legs out.
– Can sit upright or lean back all the way.
– Light but holds my 15 stone self no probs.
– Nice material.
Couple of problems keep this from being a 5 for me.
– if this had a Headrest it would’ve been a 6 out of 5. Without it you’d think I’d rate it a 5/5, but no, it’s a 4/5 because now I can’t stop imagining how comfy I’d be with it. Trust me, you’ll want it.
– Because it doesn’t fold into a sandwich, it’s rather inconvenient to carry around or fit into packed cars. It’s either 180 degrees flat and long like one of those pool inflatables, or really awkwardly semi-folded. It’s a shame.

I and my partner have used our bonVIVO chairs for day long meditation and spiritual practice. They allow the right support to maintain an upright position without the discomfort of sitting unsupported, especially if you are no longer youthful. I imagine they would also be helpful for pain relief.
I am absolutely delighted with the Easy II floor chair. As I get older I’m taking to sitting on the floor as much as possible to keep my hips flexible. The quality, padding and staggered adjustments to sitting for your back are ideal for most situations. The only thing missing is a little handle to carry around, but that’s so minor to my overall satisfaction. If only it folded in half – then it would be 100% perfect!

Nice and light and surprisingly sturdy. Quite comfortable but small. Not for long periods, but grand for a couple of hours.
I live this as I have a very bad back – if there was a handle attached for carrying I would give this 5 stars as that’s the only “issue” as I use crutches
I bought it for my son, his room is small and he plays his console game sitting on his bed. This keeps his posture a bit better, so far he likes it. Would be great if it had folding arm rests as well.
The product is a very simple idea that I’d never even seen of… And they executed it very well. If you sit on the floor or bed a lot, this product can help with having something to lean on if you need it.
It’s very durable as I’ve tried leaning on it very hard.
One downside is that the back cannot be adjusted even more forward as I like to sit on a seat with a very straight vertical back.
It also quite commonly gives me static shocks on my hands when I lift it up to move somewhere else.
Unfortunately the first one I purchased broke after about 9 months; the back rest ratchet no longer supported any significant weight. This is however where the customer service of bonVivo gets great commendation; after telling them about this, they almost immediately had another one sent out to me, without me having to send the broken one back!
I can therefore unreservedly recommend bonVivo and their products!
Just what I wanted, a ‘floor chair’ for more casual seating. I use it for playing video games, I can lay it flat and tuck it behind my couch to store it. It is so lightweight that it is easy to move around, yet sturdy enough and remain comfortable. I wouldnt recommend it for small children – you need adult length legs to balance it.

The chair itself is great, really comfortable and easily adjustable. My back hurts a lot less now when I sit on the floor!
That being said, it doesn’t come with instructions, which caused me to damage the first one while trying to clean it (apparently you’re not supposed to take off the cover). Their customer service is top-notch though, and they’ll take care of any problems you encounter.
I sit on the floor a lot, so this is great for supporting my back. It has five modes, very comfortable and looks exactly as described.
Tried it on the floor to start with and found it ok then my other half suggested I try it on the sofa so I did I have four this really helpful as it gives me a structured seat on the sofa and the fact I can move the angle of the back rest has also been helpful! So if you struggle like I have with sitting on a sofa give it a try hope it helps
When raising/folding into place the mechanics give off an audible click so you know when it is ready for us in each position, super easy to use. It is also easy to store away, either fold completely or return to a flat lying position neither of which take up a lot of space.
This chair is an artwork of engineering. It has such a smooth back action and clicks easily into the position you want it. The seat is so comfortable itself and best of all it is light and can be carried and stored flat. Unfortunately I had to return it because it didn’t quite work out in my meditation area but I would buy it again in the future
On the floor it takes the back ache out of an evening on the floor.
This unit now travels to Travelodge where it seems the make over did not see fit to provide somewhere to sit other than the bed!
The fact the unit folds flat makes it easy to sip into the car and an evening ‘on the floor’ is not always a bad thing as anything you drop does not fall far…
Bit of a bugger getting up after three hours esp if you are not in the first flush of youth!

I tried it out. it was comfortable. i haven’t had any static yet. but i suspect it might happen as i’m currently using it on the rug.
I didn’t get a discount for reviewing this item but i wished i did.
I will be using it on my tatami mats when they arrive.

after a few days of using this, i find it comfortable and haven’t had any static issues and would like to place an order for a few more.. but it seems to be out of stock.

i bought 3 more of the chairs for use. and it is still good.
I’ve been looking for a Japanese chair (zaisu) at a reasonable price for ages. I took a chance on this. Others I have tried haven’t been the same as the ones in Japan but this one was the real deal. So I bought another! We have them in our loft room with a low Japanese table.
Only request would be more colour options please – only read available when I bought them.
