2. The thermometer is designed for temporary hand hold use, please do not use it in the oven.
3. Do not insert it into extremely hot food or liquid (anything over 300°C/572°F) for more than 1 minute.
4. Insert the probe into the thickest part of the meat to read the temperature value for improved accuracy.
5. Avoid contact with bones. If the probe tip touches fleshy bones or heavier fat areas, or the probe tip is not inserted deep enough, please measure again to ensure accuracy.

Criacr Grillthermometer funktioniert super. Mit der Bestellung bis ich sehr zufrieden!
Handy gadget to make sure meat is cooked to temperature.
Great price and well constructed.
Hangs neatly on a rack in the kio.
This is so much better than the mechanical one it replaced. It responds much quicker taking about 6 seconds to get to 60C. Very clear display, I checked its accuracy against a Weber BBQ thermometer and my old mechanical one and they all read the same.
So I’m happy with that. The only thing the old mechanical one beats it on is that you cannot leave it in the product while cooking (I have the Weber for that)
Excellent product I can recommend
This works well, is easy to clean, and is waterproof. Much better made than most cheap thermometers on here.
Nice little device. Only used a couple of times in baking and to test chicken. Both times took a short time to settle on the temperature. However cannot confirm it’s accuracy. I did find it reassuring though as It confirmed what I would normally guess as cooked. fahrenheit or Celsius option and it switches off after a while to save battery. So far so good!
Criacr Meat Thermometer [2022 Upgraded] IPX65 Waterproof Instant Read Cooking Thermometer 5.6in Long Probe Digital Food Thermometer Auto Off Kitchen Thermometer for Cooking, BBQ, Meat, Sugar, Baking
This seems to me to be a good quality food/meat thermometer. I usually use an ‘old fashioned’ jam thermometer, but this digital thermometer seems pretty accurate in comparison. It is also easy to clean between uses and very versatile. At 7.99 (at time of review), this is really good value for money for a good quality product. Highly recommend.
Tested this against my mother’s meat thermometer it was accurate, nicely made easy clean a wipe & it’s ready to use again.
This is great for checking the temperature of BBQ food as it browns quickly but there’s always a fine line between burning it and it being cooked through properly.
Small and handy to store.
The design of this type of probe works really well. I’ve worked in alot of kitchens over the years and a temp probe is vital for safety and for ease of cooking to ensure food isn’t over or under cooked (roast meats or steaks) . Also for homebrewing to ensure any wort or mash is cooked correctly to get the most alcohol or flavour out of it not to mention for sterilising or pasturising.
This design is great because it can be cleaned very easily with an antibacterial wipe or soap. It has a cover to protect the pin and a compact read out. It doesn’t fold so there’s no chance of the cable breaking or junk getting stuck in its elbow. There’s no need for an s.o.s flashlight or 20 piece multitool. It had a probe and a readout, that’s all you need and it works great as a result.
The end is magnetic so it’ll stick to almost any surface and it also has a loop to allow it to be hung so it’s really easy to have it near your cooking station.
The readout is clear and accurate and very easy to use. I always test probes against a pot of boiling water (should be 100C at sea level, higher elevations cause water to boil at lower temps) and this one was spot on. You can switch between C and F and it auto switches off after a while so the battery doesn’t die.
A simple very good probe. Good value for money.
This is a reliable and accurate meat thermometer.
We have use there’s not just on meat but al so for measuring the temperature of drinks. It’s so easy to use, gives instant results and is incredibly accurate. I one hundred percent would recommend As all you need to do is stab in and turn it o
Easy to use meat thermometer. I like to check the bbq meat before we give it to guests. I don’t normally bother with our family.
This thermometer is easy to use and gives a temperature quickly. I have been testing the temperature of the joint of meat as it comes out of the oven too so I suppose I have got a bit obsessed with it !
Highly recommended
I had never thought about using one of these before, but when my son-in-law came over to cook a BBQ he asked if we had one. He used it to check the temperature of the meat to make sure that it was cooked through properly. It’s particularly useful for cooking chicken to make sure that the BBQ has cooked it right through to the centre in the thickest part. The pointed end of the thermometer is sharp enough to pierce the flesh and the digital read-out is very fast so that you can tell the temperature immediately. There is an instruction leaflet supplied, but the buttons on the thermometer are self-explanatory: an on/off button and one to change the reading from Farenheit to Centigrade. If the thermometer is left on it will automatically turn off after 10 minutes to preserve the battery. This seems like a good product and is reasonably priced, but the thing which let it down in my opinion is that the probe cover is loose and does not clip onto the thermometer itself so could easily become detached and lost.
As a trained food handler, I consider thermometers such as this to be essential kit in any kitchen.
It is easy to use by simply inserting in food or liquid which is thought to be cooked, pressing the ON button, allowing it to record the temperature and then withdrawing. The HOLD button records the temperature as the thermometer is withdrawn ensuring it doesn’t record the temperature of the food closer to the outer surface as it is removed.
Following use it can be cleaned with a wipe and then sterilised ready for its next use.
Storage is also convenient with a case to cover the tip and it can either be hung in the kitchen or with its rear magnet, will adhere to a metal surface.
On comparing it with my professional thermometers, it seems accurate – maybe just 1C out but this isn’t critical at all. In catering we just need to be certain that foods and liquids are cooked through and reach a minimum temperature – which this does.
It is also useful for camping and outdoor cooking where we don’t always have cookers with thermostats so there is more guesswork involved. I have also been using it with a camping ‘Ridgemonkey’ enclosed pan arrangement whereby I insert this thermometer between the two sections and use the enclosed pan as an improvised ‘oven’ for oven-baking.
I also insist my father, with dementia, uses a food thermometer when preparing meals for my mother with Alzheimer’s Disease. My father isn’t used to cooking but having a food thermometer handy gives me some peace of mind to ensure he is cooking their frozen ready meals fully. Similarly, it could also be useful for students for gaining confidence with cooking and avoiding food poisoning.
A very simple but useful, effective and reliable food thermometer and worth every penny of its bargain 8.99 price.
Digital thermometer that can display either celcius or farenheight. I like how the cover sleeve has a clip so that you could wear this on your apron so always to hand. Ideal in a professional setting or domestic
This meat thermometer is good, it has a protective sleeve with a hanger and works very well at reading the temperature.
The hold function is good if using it in an awkward position.
An excellent tool to have for the oncoming bbq season, this little gadget will stop you from getting food poisoning as well as serving food that is chard like charcoal.
What sets this apart from regular thermometers is the extra-long rod that will help you prod the meat. What’s more, the temperature readings are also accurate as I’ve tried it with hot water against the mainstream brand that cost twice as much.
A great tool for the kitchen as well as the bbq.
Easy to use and read
Used so far on testing temp of cooked chicken, pork, and making caramel.
Can’t fault i
Tested this against 2 other meat thermometers and an external reader. This a fast accurate reader. Looks a nice modern white colour with easy to use grey buttons. I also like the long cover the temp prong gets stored in. Which can be clipped onto your apron. Very impressed with this thermometer. Especially the speed it reads, compared to my other 2 that lagged behind. It reached the final temperature in my hot cup of water super fast.
It’s always handy to have a proper kitchen thermometer to ensure meats are cooked to the right temperature or for jam making, chocolate or any other thing that needs accurate measurement. This is a standard style probe-tip with a range of -50-300C which covers most things! It comes with a handy cover which is a bonus, can read in Fahrenheit or Celcius and has a hold function. Turns off after 10min and uses an AG13 battery. The only function it doesn’t have is a max/min value display – it also has a magnet on the back for storage, though it doesn’t actually seem strong enough to hold its own weight! It is IP65 so can we washed as it should between foodstuffs though shouldn’t be immersed or left in hot liquid (jam for example as the body is just plastic). At around 9 it is comparable in price and pretty well made. I let it sit next to a similar thermometer and the readings were very similar so it seems to be well calibrated.
This meat thermometer works well and comes with a protective plastic tube to protect the probe. It can measure in Centigrade or Fahrenheit and has a hold button to remember the temperature. It’s powered with an AG13 watch battery, which is included. In practice, the thermometer provides accurate readings.
It seems very reasonably priced at 8.99 and I’m happy with it.
