I originally purchased the Miku pro but quickly realized the camera was not functional for the $ this was incredibly disappointing. I wasn’t receiving any notifications for movement or noise, which is the sole purpose of a baby monitor. Customer service did not help at all and insisted it was user error.
After struggling to get it to work for weeks I gave up. I wanted a monitor that didn’t require wearables and could connect to my smart phone.
The Cubo Plus worked perfectly, seamless connection to Wi-Fi and real time notifications for everything. The app is intuitive and works well. The Miku Pro app was difficult to navigate.
If you want Easy Setup and high level alerts: such as face covered don’t hesitate to buy this camera! Also love that it comes with a stand, if you don’t want to drill holes. Other similarly priced cameras require you to purchase them separately.
Have been using the camera with the floor stand over the bassinet which was easy to set up. The camera is a very handy tool which gives my wife and myself peace of mind to not watch over the baby constantly. The AI sleep pad has been disappointing as it never has a full charge when I put new batteries in. The charge doesn’t last long and has to be replaced within 6 hours.
Incredible app and equipment – ensures my babies safety through the night. Love the sensor pad, noise functions and the ability to connect to my Echo Show via Alexa. I have NO regrets about buying this baby monitor!
I love everything about the CuboAI Plus. I like the way the camera does not look like a camera in the nursery. The features of rolling over/face covered help keep your mind at ease during the night. Very easy set up even when we encountered a slight problem connecting to Wi-Fi the customer service was exceptional and they checked back in a few days later to ensure there was no other problems (there wasn’t, the issue was simply because I’d loosened the wire when moving the camera to another part of the room)
I cannot fault CuboAI and I highly recommend this product all the safety features you want without having things attached to your child and it’s aesthetically pleasing
This is a great monitor with really good video and sound quality. The additional features like lullabies and sounds have been useful for LO and means we don’t need the additional white noise machine we brought.
The sensor pad has also really helped my peace of mind as LO has transitioned into their own room earlier than suggested.
It’s also great that family members can be given access to view, my mother has really enjoyed being able to see baby as she lives quite far away.
We absolutely love this baby monitor and sleep bundle. Our son was born 1 month premature and we were worried about leaving him in his crib alone. The app works great to notify us if the baby has anything going on we should worry about, covered face, no movement, or crying. About a month into using the monitor, it wouldn’t connect and the app would just spin. We contacted support and it was a bit disheartening that we weren’t able to call, we had to chat through the app. Chatting wouldn’t be so bad, but each response took about 30 minutes to come through. When you have a newborn, time is precious, so sitting waiting for a response to troubleshoot was very frustrating. We ended up returning the original bundle via amazon and now the 2nd bundle works great. We are now 3 months in with no issues.

From the app you can get reports on your babies sleep and movement patterns no more need to guess. I could go on and on as there are so many great features, that are well designed to keep babies safe, secure and to offer peace of mind to parents and caregivers.
Sure it’s quite an investment but I know for me it’s definitely worth it’s weight in gold for the way this one device has significantly reduced my rational or irrational fears when it comes to the safety of my baby. I would recommend it to anyone with little ones.

I love that it keeps a track of the babies sleep movement. I also love that if the baby takes a long time to sleep, there are smoothing music/lullabies to play to help. Another feature that is great is the detection of crying, which tells you when to rush and check on what’s happening.

Absolutely nailed it. Love it! Always been a big fan of the bamboo/wood on white design, and it blends in quite nicely with the rest of our home interior, which – you guessed it – is wood/bamboo on white. Love that the camera looks like an actual bird that’s nesting/resting on a branch. Honestly, for babies/toddlers, I wouldn’t want them getting conditioned to seeing a regular ol’ camera right before falling asleep and as soon as they wake up – something about it all is just well creepy. Same goes especially for a newborn. The bird is much more friendly looking and blends in very nicely. The pad is also very nicely designed even though it’s meant to be concealed. Good stuff.
BUILD QUALITY
Pretty decent. To be honest, not quite as amazing as I would’ve expected, but mind you, my expectations were set sky high after viewing the product photos and pricing. They’ve since tapered off since then.
NOTABLE FEATURES
The pad and the camera connect and share information allowing you full control of the setup. This is a baby monitor on steroids as it does just that, it monitors but on a level I’ve never quite seen before. After testing it out, it seems to work fine, however it’s a little too early to tell whether the detection levels and AI all function within reasonable thresholds. While I don’t expect it to be perfect I certainly do expect a high level of consistency.
EXTRAS
Aside from all the other details, what I really appreciate most about this product (aside from the obvious) is the careful attention to detail as well as the thoughtful design approach and appeal. There’s no noticeable RED LIGHT at night with this unit either. The previous unit we owned had the typical glowing lights circling the camera lens, making for a very creepy “eyeball” looking thing staring right at your subject – imagine the last thing your kids must see at night – a creepy red eyeball staring right at them. My toddler didn’t like the look at night.
VERDICT
This is perfect for a control-freak parent. I would recommend getting this as early as your child’s infancy to get the most of the product features and longevity of the unit.
I had an Angel Care for my oldest and this is an even more advanced device and has come a long way. I will say the app can still use some work, but I love having the camera (which how cute is the bird shape??) and sleep mat. Haven’t experienced any false alarms and it allows for a sense of ease knowing this will detect if something is wrong. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth having.

I’m going to preface this with i haven’t been able to try out the sensor pad for underneath yet because I keep forgetting to buy batteries I really wish the pad part came with a cord to plug it in or at least a rechargeable battery rather than having to buy batteries! The camera monitor, however, is awesome! The picture quality is great, it has the ability to play white noise with several different options to choose from, including rain and heartbeat. The monitor tracks your baby’s sleep quality and how often they wake up, when a caregiver visits them, etc. I was pretty overwhelmed when I first opened the monitor box and started reading the instructions, there are SO many pieces. Thankfully, there are video instructions that you can pull up with the QR code in the instruction manual. We installed it directly onto the crib, and it took me probably an hour to get the whole thing set up and test it.
I love that I can close the app for the monitor and still be able to hear baby while doing other things on my phone, like watching the monitor app for the other kid’s room that doesn’t have that feature. It’s expensive, but well worth the peace of mind this monitor provides. I love that we can peek in on baby while out of the house if she is with a babysitter and it’s nap or bedtime.
As a mother of a Nicu baby, it is so important to have peace of mind once you go home. While nothing really gives you 100% peace of mind, it certainly is nice to have this monitor which senses baby movements. It will also detect when there isn’t any movement and a covered face detection. There is rollover detection, true cry detection and danger zone detection. What I would not have given to have such a device when my other child was young! It certainly helps me, as the parent, get better sleep at night, knowing I will be alerted when cries out of the ordinary occur or if a lot of unusual movement begins. From my phone, I can access an app that shows me all the information gathered from the night before. The app is easy to navigate. Setting it up is as simple as placing the sensor pad under the mattress. Some extra features that make this device unique and useful is the camera, night light, temperature and humidity detection and the 2 way audio. The picture quality is clear and the sound quality crisp.

This was all packaged very safety and I found everything easy to setup. Even the app which I usually have a difficult time with. I love love that the sensor pad sits below the mattress. This is something I wish I’d had with my first born for peace of mind.
The only negative I find is that at this price point I think a small monitor should also be included. Still overall very happy with this product and I think it would make a great gift!
I’m currently pregnant, so the baby I will be monitoring with this system isn’t here just yet. But I have it all set up in the nursery and I am SO impressed with it so far! The bird-shaped camera is adorable and fits in with our woodland / botanical themed nursery. It comes with 3 different style mounts for the camera: a free-standing floor stand, a crib arm attachment, or a mobile stand for when your baby gets older and graduates from the crib to a big kid bed and you move the camera up onto a shelf somewhere. The setup instructions for each are clearly written with diagrams.
You do need to download the app and create an account to set everything up, but the app works great on my (Android) phone and is easy to navigate. Getting the camera connected to wifi and linked into the app was quick and easy. The picture quality of the video is slightly better than our Blink home security cameras both in daylight and in night vision. It has built-in lullabies, a nightlight, and even a temperature and humidity sensor. Note that the camera lens is rotatable, but you do that MANUALLY. I spent more time than I’d like to admit trying to figure out where in the app I could do that – but from the app you can only zoom in and out from the playback screen, you can’t move the camera remotely from the app.
Most importantly (to me): the camera has 18-hour playback included even after the 6-month trial of the premium subscription expires! The premium features are nice, but the system is still extremely functional without paying for the premium subscription.
Since baby isn’t here year we haven’t had a chance to use the sleep sensor pad yet – but I LOVE the concept. I was considering a smart sleep sock, but if baby wiggles that off in the middle of the night you get an alert on your phone and pit of panic and dread in your chest for no reason. The sleep sensor pad goes securely UNDER the mattress and can’t fall off like a sock can.
If you’re a first-time or anxious mama, this bundle is worth EVERY PENNY!
I will start by saying, the only thing I wish was different, was that I wish it had a wifi monitor unit, instead of having to use my phone/app.
Alerts are fast and accurate (no false alarms every night, like the owlet). I like that the sensor goes under the crib mattress, and not around a foot to get kicked off, if you have a wiggly baby.
Lots of other features in the app, like the cute pics they send.
Very expensive, but great for peace of mind, especially for first time parents.
Does have the option to add on monitors, but we haven’t done that.
I’m not someone who is knowledgable about tech gizmos or navigating apps, so when I say that this is easy to set up and operate, I really mean it.
This is proving to be invaluable since my youngest nephew has started to become active when he wakes up; he once dragged himself up the side of his cot and fell out, onto the floor. Thankfully he wasn’t badly hurt, but my sister could hardly sleep after that; she was always convinced that she could hear him waking up from naps and moving around, so was forever rushing to his cot, only to find him sleeping peacefully. She can check on him as he moves & wakes up, without needing to jumping out of bed every five minutes for imaginary emergencies.
This is expensive, but I think that the peace of mind it gives to parents is more than worth it – plus you can keep on using it until baby is four or five, so you do get your monies worth from this. I really wish we’d had this as first-time parents, as so much anxiety & sleep could have been saved.
The baby this this is needed for is yet to be born, so I can’t judge the set in practical, day-to-day use. I can check the hardware quality and test some of the main functions, however.
It’s all nicely packed and well presented. Getting everything connected and configured seems straightforward enough. It offers comprehensive monitoring that should reassure parents of a new baby, while continuing to prove useful as the baby develops into a toddler. I suppose the differentiating feature from much of the competition is the ‘sleep sensor pad’, but that’s something we can’t really try yet.

One star deducted. Subscriptions like that were a deciding factor in my choice of CCTV system (I went with Netatmo). I’d be reluctant to buy a baby monitoring system with a subscription, if I had a choice (I haven’t evaluated Cubo’s competitors yet – maybe they’re all the same).
Ignoring that, we’re impressed, so far, and looking forward to testing the system properly. There are bound to be significant pros and cons to the competing systems out there, so you really need to spend some time comparing before choosing. I can’t see anyone being disappointed with this one, thoughapart from that subscription.

The pad had 4 sensors which will pick up movement which will trigger the camera and alert. The camera is disguised in a beautiful white bird. It has cry detection, covered face and rollover alerts and has great night and day vision. Takes photos and videos . Controlled via cellphone. It doesn’t actually touch babies body. Incredible technology. Expensive but so worth it ! Top quality.
I really wish I had this set up with my first son because I always had an anxiety being first time mom. I installed it with my 2nd son and he is having hard time with taking consistent naps and still wakes up in the middle of the night, so really it’s just kind of touch and go with his sleeping and honestly it’s a such a relief to being able to track it and also having data that I can share on my pediatrician visits vs me just saying not consistent sleeping. This is technology at it best to put parents at ease because I feel like I worry a lot about everything my babies do, at least this is makes me feel much better. Camera is out of space, really the best I can get. When it comes to my kids I always want the best. This is giving me huge piece of mind!

The pad is fantastic at putting you at ease. I know, babies should sleep on their back. But start from the start of about 4 months a lot of little ones start to sleep on their stomach. In general, it’s fine if they flip over by themselves. Although you will want to flip them back sometimes, you cannot do that all the time. So when they are sleeping on their stomach, this thing gives you peace of mind. You at least are sure that they are still breathing and ok.
Connecting both devices is rather easy and set up did not take long at all. There are so many features to explore like the ability to get notifications on their movements via the camera and pad. You can easily access a live feed off the camera when the pad detects unusual movement and act upon it if needed.
The microphone on the camera isn’t great and the live feed sometimes barely hears smaller noises. Other than that the camera has a great image quality during the day and a rather decent night vision You do have the ability to zoom in on areas of the room and take full advantage of the rotating and tilting abilities of the camera.
The app is rather user-friendly and it doesn’t take an expert to navigate it. It displays all the vital information to you including the battery life of the pad. All in all, for a bundle that gives you peace of mind, I don’t really think you can put a price on it. I highly recommend it.
I don’t like giving gifts that are used for only a few weeks or months. This one is good to age 5. I feel that’s getting more for your money! This comes WELL packaged. Lots of boxes. If the care put into packaging is reflected in the quality of the product, this this will not disappoint.

The monitor tracks your baby’s sleep quality and how often they wake up, when a caregiver visits them, etc. I was pretty overwhelmed when I first opened the monitor box and started reading the instructions, there are SO many pieces. Thankfully, there are video instructions that you can pull up with the QR code in the instruction manual. We installed it directly onto the crib, and it took me probably an hour to get the whole thing set up and test it.
I love that I can close the app for the monitor and still be able to hear baby while doing other things on my phone, like watching the monitor app for the other kid’s room that doesn’t have that feature. It’s expensive, but well worth the peace of mind this monitor provides. I love that we can peek in on baby while out of the house if she is with a babysitter and it’s nap or bedtime.
As a mother of a Nicu baby, it is so important to have peace of mind once you go home. While nothing really gives you 100% peace of mind, it certainly is nice to have this monitor which senses baby movements. It will also detect when there isn’t any movement and a covered face detection. There is rollover detection, true cry detection and danger zone detection. What I would not have given to have such a device when my other child was young! It certainly helps me, as the parent, get better sleep at night, knowing I will be alerted when cries out of the ordinary occur or if a lot of unusual movement begins. From my phone, I can access an app that shows me all the information gathered from the night before. The app is easy to navigate. Setting it up is as simple as placing the sensor pad under the mattress. Some extra features that make this device unique and useful is the camera, night light, temperature and humidity detection and the 2 way audio. The picture quality is clear and the sound quality crisp.

This was all packaged very safety and I found everything easy to setup. Even the app which I usually have a difficult time with. I love love that the sensor pad sits below the mattress. This is something I wish I’d had with my first born for peace of mind.
The only negative I find is that at this price point I think a small monitor should also be included. Still overall very happy with this product and I think it would make a great gift!
I’m currently pregnant, so the baby I will be monitoring with this system isn’t here just yet. But I have it all set up in the nursery and I am SO impressed with it so far! The bird-shaped camera is adorable and fits in with our woodland / botanical themed nursery. It comes with 3 different style mounts for the camera: a free-standing floor stand, a crib arm attachment, or a mobile stand for when your baby gets older and graduates from the crib to a big kid bed and you move the camera up onto a shelf somewhere. The setup instructions for each are clearly written with diagrams.
You do need to download the app and create an account to set everything up, but the app works great on my (Android) phone and is easy to navigate. Getting the camera connected to wifi and linked into the app was quick and easy. The picture quality of the video is slightly better than our Blink home security cameras both in daylight and in night vision. It has built-in lullabies, a nightlight, and even a temperature and humidity sensor. Note that the camera lens is rotatable, but you do that MANUALLY. I spent more time than I’d like to admit trying to figure out where in the app I could do that – but from the app you can only zoom in and out from the playback screen, you can’t move the camera remotely from the app.
Most importantly (to me): the camera has 18-hour playback included even after the 6-month trial of the premium subscription expires! The premium features are nice, but the system is still extremely functional without paying for the premium subscription.
Since baby isn’t here year we haven’t had a chance to use the sleep sensor pad yet – but I LOVE the concept. I was considering a smart sleep sock, but if baby wiggles that off in the middle of the night you get an alert on your phone and pit of panic and dread in your chest for no reason. The sleep sensor pad goes securely UNDER the mattress and can’t fall off like a sock can.
If you’re a first-time or anxious mama, this bundle is worth EVERY PENNY!
I will start by saying, the only thing I wish was different, was that I wish it had a wifi monitor unit, instead of having to use my phone/app.
Alerts are fast and accurate (no false alarms every night, like the owlet). I like that the sensor goes under the crib mattress, and not around a foot to get kicked off, if you have a wiggly baby.
Lots of other features in the app, like the cute pics they send.
Very expensive, but great for peace of mind, especially for first time parents.
Does have the option to add on monitors, but we haven’t done that.
I’m not someone who is knowledgable about tech gizmos or navigating apps, so when I say that this is easy to set up and operate, I really mean it.
This is proving to be invaluable since my youngest nephew has started to become active when he wakes up; he once dragged himself up the side of his cot and fell out, onto the floor. Thankfully he wasn’t badly hurt, but my sister could hardly sleep after that; she was always convinced that she could hear him waking up from naps and moving around, so was forever rushing to his cot, only to find him sleeping peacefully. She can check on him as he moves & wakes up, without needing to jumping out of bed every five minutes for imaginary emergencies.
This is expensive, but I think that the peace of mind it gives to parents is more than worth it – plus you can keep on using it until baby is four or five, so you do get your monies worth from this. I really wish we’d had this as first-time parents, as so much anxiety & sleep could have been saved.
It’s all nicely packed and well presented. Getting everything connected and configured seems straightforward enough. It offers comprehensive monitoring that should reassure parents of a new baby, while continuing to prove useful as the baby develops into a toddler. I suppose the differentiating feature from much of the competition is the ‘sleep sensor pad’, but that’s something we can’t really try yet.
The camera fires up when movement is sensed, and an alert is sent to your phone. Image quality is excellent.
The app has a simple enough UI and seems quite functionally rich. I’m very unimpressed, however, given the price of the system, that they charge 7.99/month or 79.99/year for premium features. One star deducted. Subscriptions like that were a deciding factor in my choice of CCTV system (I went with Netatmo). I’d be reluctant to buy a baby monitoring system with a subscription, if I had a choice (I haven’t evaluated Cubo’s competitors yet – maybe they’re all the same).
Ignoring that, we’re impressed, so far, and looking forward to testing the system properly. There are bound to be significant pros and cons to the competing systems out there, so you really need to spend some time comparing before choosing. I can’t see anyone being disappointed with this one, thoughapart from that subscription.
This bundle takes away so much stress with a new born baby. It really covers all aspects of your babies safety which in turn allows you to relax enough to have a good sleep when your baby is asleep. The pad had 4 sensors which will pick up movement which will trigger the camera and alert. The camera is disguised in a beautiful white bird. It has cry detection, covered face and rollover alerts and has great night and day vision. Takes photos and videos . Controlled via cellphone. It doesn’t actually touch babies body. Incredible technology. Expensive but so worth it ! Top quality.
I really wish I had this set up with my first son because I always had an anxiety being first time mom. I installed it with my 2nd son and he is having hard time with taking consistent naps and still wakes up in the middle of the night, so really it’s just kind of touch and go with his sleeping and honestly it’s a such a relief to being able to track it and also having data that I can share on my pediatrician visits vs me just saying not consistent sleeping. This is technology at it best to put parents at ease because I feel like I worry a lot about everything my babies do, at least this is makes me feel much better. Camera is out of space, really the best I can get. When it comes to my kids I always want the best. This is giving me huge piece of mind!
You get the sensor pad and the camera monitor. Granted the price may be off-putting but when you way up the peace of mind a setup like this can offer, I think it’s worth it.
The pad is fantastic at putting you at ease. I know, babies should sleep on their back. But start from the start of about 4 months a lot of little ones start to sleep on their stomach. In general, it’s fine if they flip over by themselves. Although you will want to flip them back sometimes, you cannot do that all the time. So when they are sleeping on their stomach, this thing gives you peace of mind. You at least are sure that they are still breathing and ok.
Connecting both devices is rather easy and set up did not take long at all. There are so many features to explore like the ability to get notifications on their movements via the camera and pad. You can easily access a live feed off the camera when the pad detects unusual movement and act upon it if needed.
The microphone on the camera isn’t great and the live feed sometimes barely hears smaller noises. Other than that the camera has a great image quality during the day and a rather decent night vision You do have the ability to zoom in on areas of the room and take full advantage of the rotating and tilting abilities of the camera.
The app is rather user-friendly and it doesn’t take an expert to navigate it. It displays all the vital information to you including the battery life of the pad. All in all, for a bundle that gives you peace of mind, I don’t really think you can put a price on it. I highly recommend it.

I don’t like giving gifts that are used for only a few weeks or months. This one is good to age 5. I feel that’s getting more for your money! This comes WELL packaged. Lots of boxes. If the care put into packaging is reflected in the quality of the product, this this will not disappoint.

Comes with a good quality camera and pad that has micro motion sensors, when motion is detected the camera will pick up every movement, alerting the parent via the app that there has been motion.
What impresses me the most is the accuracy and timing of the camera integrating with the AI pad.
