Great machine for painting fences after finding the correct viscosity of you’re paint my only gripe is batterys only last 20-30 mins and I suggest if purchasing this sprayer you buy at least an extra 1 or 2 batterys for bigger jobs. I painted my fence with this in 2hrs usually took 7-8hrs with a brush! would have been quicker if I had the extra batterys when I started. I also suggest when spraying near the ground level you protect the ground with sheets and do not attempt to use if too windy and also make sure the neighbours washing has been removed Another plus mark for this is it also takes hours own Makita batterys which saves you money if you you already have them

It’s not bad for the money. I think it is best for outdoor use rather than indoor walls and such as the finish can run a little if you’re too close.

I didn’t have any issues with this and think you need to water it down a bit to get it consistent.

We’ve never used a paint sprayer before and maybe we were a bit naive because we thought it was just a case of filling up with paint, start spraying, job jone. It’s obviously a bit more finessed than that though and it’s harder than it sounds or looks. I don’t have anything to compare with but I don’t think it’s any fault of the sprayer, it’s maybe more down to user error.

Getting the paint consisency is key I think and if we had got that right first time it might have been a different story but we’ve had a right faff trying to get the right mix and all the trial runs used up the battery in no time without any satisfying results which put us off a bit at first. We’ve persevered and feel like we’re maybe getting somewhere, although we’re still far from nailing it. We’ve got through a ton of paint, run the battery down more than a couple of times and generated unholy amounts of mess to clean up but each subsequent practice run gives better results. Still don’t have a finished room yet and luckily it’s one that isn’t in use yet anyway, but I had hoped to be done by Christmas….that didn’t happen. We’ll try again in the new year and hopefully learn the trick to getting a good result. In the meantime, I think the sprayer is good, it just helps to know what you’re doing before you plow in with it.

If it had been warmer and dryer outside we could have practiced on the garden fence and probably got all our mistakes out of the way with that project but hindsight is 20/20.

his is a cordless paint sprayer gun from the brand enegitech, which is a manufacturer of home power tools, as well as series of household batteries, this is my first time to use product from this brand, it’s also my first time to use a sprayer gun; this sprayer gun is a cordless model, so i don’t need to care about the messy cables, i could put my focus on the spray job

before using it, i thought using it was as simple as using a spray paint can for small furniture, but actually it’s much more complicated: the paint, the spray patterns, the distance, nozzle size and most importantly, the paint viscosity

the instruction mentioned that its max viscosity supported is 80din-s, well it could spray probably over 50din-s but it’s easily get clogged and cause uneven surface finish

it was quite time consuming to trial and find the best viscosity for the paint and once find the perfect viscosity, it will certainly spray easily like using can paint sprayer, but using this gun will provide larger coverage, smooth surface finish will look perfect, it could be achieved in 2-3 runs on the same surface, depend on the base colour

this sprayer gun is only good for spraying horizontally, maybe slightly tilt upward/downward, however it’s not fit for spraying ceiling while it needs the nozzle point vertically

it’s a good experience to use spray gun for paint work, it’s relatively fast if the paint surface is large, for smaller area like small furniture or small fence, better stick to paint brush, as the time for paint preparation or after cleaning will be much shorter

all in all, i’m happy with this product, would recommend

I used this to spray my bedroom wall, it provided great coverage, it wasn’t too heavy to use and was simple to clean afterwards

Now after reading some of the other reviews, where reviewers said “not for a layman” without even trying it, or reviewing based on “I tested with water but haven’t tried paint” I wasn’t sure what to expect with this Enegitech 18v cordless paint gun kit, but I wasn’t going to slate a product without trying it first, and as a former tradesman of 25 years I wasn’t going to spray water and call that a test.

I had promised my son and his girlfriend that I would redecorate their first flat which was in need of quite a bit of work and it appeared to be a great opportunity to put the paint gun through its paces and see how it compared to my old corded paint gun. Now I wasn’t going to be using one coat emulsion for the walls or one coat gloss for the woodwork as A. It’s not necessary if using a paint gun and B. It’s counter-productive as it would inevitably need thinning anyway, which is common with a paint gun regardless. Once prepped, masking done and battery fully charged, it was time to get going and get going it did. The nozzle spray pattern adjustment is straightforward, as is its trigger action. I would recommend you practice on an old timber off cut or similar if you’re new to powered spray gun painting to get yourself accustomed to the spraying action and to gauge wether the viscosity of the paint you intend to use will need thinning before starting the real work.

The delivery of both emulsion and gloss using the vertical and horizontal spray patterns is actually pretty good, giving an even consistent coat at around 20cm distance to the surface. Very little splutter or clogging and a good area of coverage can be achieved on a single charge. To complete the hallway in my pictures the only thing holding me up was the need to recharge the battery which needed two charges to complete the job for all walls and woodwork consisting of skirting, architraves and 5 doors. Another battery in the kit would have been ideal to rotate between them, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and gave me time to break my diet and grab a chippy lunch with my son. Had I been on a paid job for a customer, I perhaps wouldn’t use the gun without another battery to rotate as recharging although fast isn’t conducive to best use of valuable paid time. The end results are very good and my son and his girlfriend are more than happy, but that might be as much down to my own level of experience than that of the gun itself.

All in all, it’s perfectly adequate for personal use, but best kept for smaller single charge jobs if using for work. If it had another battery, I’d have given 5 stars as the results are almost as good as my corded gun but not quite as efficient.

A second battery to rotate and I’d have given 5 stars.

I have tested this with some paint I had in my shed for the fences this summer, this is noisy so I found ear defenders do help.

Being rechargeable compared to my previous wired one makes this more easy to move around the fences without having to trail a wire around with you.

There is 3 different spray shapes and these are changed my turning the shape switch on the nozzle.

Overall I am happy with this product and can not wait to get painting with it next summer.

I have tested this on a door and I got so much better results than with a brush as it’s a very even coat with no brush marks, once finished cleaning is easy as the entire bottle and nozzle system comes apart for ease of cleaning, the battery lasted well enough to do 2 doors and 15 planks of decking without charging so that’s more than I’ll ever need, build quality is very good and I honestly cannot mark it down for anything it’s a really handy tool that will save me time and give better results than painting by hand, highly recommended to all.

Worth to buy it for such price.
Its works excellent and spraying well.
Suitable for pait cars, walls, gates and many other surfaces.
Easy to use. Clear instruction was also included in set.

Overall, great product for such price.
Surely can recommend it to all.

I will have quite a few fences to paint next year so something like this I thought would be quite good instead of the hand pump sprayer I normally use and I also wondered how good it would be to spray normal paint such as used on motor vehicles.
When I unboxed this the first thing that hit me was how big it is, I am used to using normal spray guns which feel much smaller however it feels quite well balanced and after playing around with it for a bit I began to get used to it, of course one problem you have with a battery powered spray gun against and normal air fed gun is the extra weight, normal gun it’s just the spray gun body and the weight of a full paint pot, with this you have the weight of the pump and battery as well as a pot full of paint (filled with water it weighs just over 2.5KG) so could be a good workout on a long run of fencing.
I needed to try this out but with the weather now turning colder I am not intending doing any painting until next year so it just had to be water, it’s a bit noisy but that’s only to be expected, the spray pattern looks to be good although using water is not really ideal show this but it does give an idea and the flow is constant so will give an even flow of paint.
This comes with two extra spray caps for different thickness material a paint filter (just the one) and a viscosity cup.
This gun is easy to take apart so easy to clean, just press a button on the top of the pump and the gun section comes off and everything unscrews really easy on the gun for cleaning.
There is one thing that I am weary about when it comes to cordless tools that might not be used that often and that’s battery life, I had a cordless hedge trimmer that I left fully charged and when I went to use it the following year the battery had deteriorated and the trimmer did not run for long, I know you are supposed to at least charge a battery every few months to keep it in optimum condition, but I have to wonder how often I will use this spray gun, probably not that much so I would have to remember to charge the battery every so often.
Saying about the battery though I am not going to have that problem of it staying unused for long periods as the battery is the same as the battery’s I use in my Makita tools, I fitted it to my impact driver and it worked so Makita battery’s should work on the sprayer that’s a bit of a result for me, as I use my cordless drill, impact driver and hand grinder all the time and only had two battery’s I now have three so all my tools are ready to go and should I do a lot of spraying I have extra battery’s to keep the gun going.
I can’t really find any real negatives about this spray gun so it gets a five from me, I don’t know how long the battery will last for but judging by other battery powered tools it should be long enough for most spray jobs and if you have Makita cordless tools then like me you have the advantage of swapping battery’s.

    Better Than I though
